12.3hh cob mare companion

Ref #: 340540
£650 ONO
  • Cob
  • Piebald
  • Mare
  • 11 years
  • 12.3 hands

My gorgeous girl is looking for her forever home, she has had a hard life before I found her, so finding the perfect home and person is extremely important to me and I’m in no rush at all. Homes will be vetted and I will not sell her unseen so please dont ask.

I am looking for an experienced, kind and loving person who is offering a forever home where she can be a companion and a pet, I am not selling her as a ridden horse due to her past, I feel that she will be happiest being a pet.

She is 12.3hh, passported, microchipped, vaccinated, up to date with worming, teeth and farrier.

When she is settled and in a routine that she is happy with she is good to handle, will live in or out, comes to call, loves a fuss and is an absolute sweetheart. She has happily lived in all winter.

I’m looking for a very special person for my girl, it needs to be someone who is calm and consistent to give her the confidence that she needs. She is a very sensitive soul and does panic with change, so it needs to be someone who understands this and who is willing to hold her hand when she is struggling. Her insecurities are all down to her past life and in the year she has been with me she has come such a long way, I am now looking for someone to continue my quiet patient work to help her keep growing in confidence so she can finally live the life she deserves.

She did not travel well when she came to me and I haven’t travelled her since, I would prefer for her to go somewhere within or around an hour from us because of this and I am happy to cover the cost of having my vet come to sedate her so she can get to her new home safely.

When she is settled and happy she is such a lovely little lady who loves nothing more than spending time with you. I know she is going to make someone very happy.

She is wary of men and needs a patient farrier but she is getting better with every trim and growing in confidence, she just needs to continue to have positive experiences with one and she will be fine with a little more time.

She currently turns out on her own but I do feel she would prefer to live with others.

Finding her the right home is more important than price, but as said above homes will be vetted and I am in no rush, she will only leave me when I have found her perfect person and home. She is for sale only, sorry no loans, no payment plans, no novices, no dealers

Based East Yorkshire

Messages preferred as I am very busy at the moment, if I feel you are right for her then calls can be scheduled.

Bill has just returned from a loan home where he has been since he was a foal, he has matured into a lovely young pony in search for a new home. He currently resides at a foster yard.

Bill can be a little shy to start, but will soon come out his shell when settled into a home. He will require a confident and quiet family who can give him time to settle before starting any backing work.

He lives out 24/7 and has part stabled with company, he does prefer to have an equine companion around all the time to keep him company. Bill would like other young horses to play with, he has only ever lived with geldings, but could slowly be introduced to mares.

Looking for something 15hh + have had 4 thoroughbreds so know a lot about them but am open to other breeds.

Age anything 4 upwards aslong as they’re happy and healthy.

I’ll be doing mostly hacking, jumping, dressage schooling and the odd local shows. I am also open to a horse that is green and needs work bringing on to.

Most importantly I’m looking for my forever best friend, must have good ground manners, nothing too bolshy.

Again, I’m in no rush, I want to find the perfect horse and that I’m the perfect person for them too??

I’m based in Boston Lincolnshire ,willing to travel 2 hours.

Ref #: 344638

We are looking for an experienced pony (would prefer a mare) for my 6 year old son who loves doing all pony club activities and fun rides .

13.3 to 14.2 hh - mare preferred

We are a showjumping family from Devon with a combined 40 years experience and do lots of hacking and showjumping and so must be sensible in open spaces. My son will do pony club activities, so would like something that has come from a similar type of home. He would like to do SJ competitions in the future so must be capable of jumping a course of up to 85 cm.

My son is keen, but wouldn't like anything too sharp or too whizzy, so am looking for something that has patience.

Knowledgable 5* home awaits with riding near to Powderham Castle and can provide references.

Very much hoping to find the right pony soon, so that a partnership can be formed ready for pony club activities.

Look forward to hearing from you!
