How do you go about introducing the most perfect pony in the world? This pony has defined my daughter’s childhood, given her confidence, allowed her to start her BE journey competitively and safely.

Bruno (Lackaghmore Vandango) is a complete schoolmaster who has been an integral part of our family and introduced my daughter to eventing, he has forged the most brilliant partnership with her and given her a superb foundation. She is not the perfect rider, she misses him sometimes, she is not the strongest as her health is not tip top but what they have achieved together has surpassed our expectations 10fold. He has shown her the ropes and put a smile on her face so many times but sadly now he is looking for his next person as my daughter appears to be growing like a weed and needs something bigger.

We purchased Bruno from Ireland as a Christmas present 2 years ago. At that point he had just finished his season as winner of the Eventing Ireland, Northern region 90cm league.

At home, Bruno is a complete poppet, my daughter does everything with him which is lovely, he is easy to handle and even my toddler can pootle around the school on him but at a competition he knows his job so he is definitely not for a novice rider, he is never naughty or unmanageable just competitive and keen. Has never been seen to buck, rear, bolt. Great to load/unload/stud/bath/farrier/dentist, we prefer to sedate to clip the back of his back legs as he is tickly and sometimes fidgets but it can be done without. Stands on the box all day and travels very well. Not the sick or sorry type, just ears pricked and ready to take on whatever we throw at him.

A great record and I can go through every result with potential owners, he has done BE 90, pony club rallies, pony club camp, spring festival and pony club champs 2 years running-he competed in the dressage and eventing this year and made the course look like a schooling round, he was incredible and finished his season with a brilliant 100 Cotswold cup round at Pontispool. He has done beach rides, hacks out alone and in company, was the lead pony for the South Molton Carnival…you name it, he has done it.

He would also be an incredible tet pony as he just loves the cross country and is so quick across the country.

Beauty is a kind, genuine 15 yr old mare.

She has been in the same home for 7 years until we have had her for the summer to have some fun on as she has been genuinely outgrown by three sisters who have now all moved on to horses.

She has hacked alone and with others, good with traffic and cattle/livestock.

She is an uncomplicated ride, not a total first pony as she is fairly forward going but isn’t a buzzy pony, she’s never bucked or reared, she doesn’t jog or get silly, she just doesn’t need constant nagging to go!

That said she’s always ridden in a snaffle and has excellent brakes! She has a very soft mouth and her riders don’t feel out of control or worried. She has been ridden by novice nervous friends and isn’t the scary type! However, the rider best suited to her is one who can already trot and canter and now wants to get out to pony club and local shows and have fun. She would happily take you round the NSEA showjumping and help to get a little person confident and out competing.

Last weekend she had a 1st and a 2nd Arena Eventing with a new rider who borrowed her for competition experience. She’s super chilled in the warm up and doesn’t need hours of working in. Whilst she does have a scope jump she’s not a complete competition type, I would say that courses up to 75cm ish are probably her forte although she’s jumped over 1 metre 20 in chase me Charlie!

She has hunted, been on fun rides, beach rides, and various other things.

She lives in or out, despite being a quality type she happily winters out with rug on. No known health issues, she’s vaccinated and currently shod as we have stony hacking.

Loads and travels in anything! She’s just a lovely pony to be and have around.

Needs a loving new home and smaller rider for her next chapter of adventures. She has stacks of personality and loves her humans and we’re looking for the very best of homes for her.

She comes with her tack and loads of nice Amigo rugs. Price is negotiable as we’d like to see her happy and loved in her new home not standing in a cold boring wintery field without the TLC and attention she really does deserve.

Hants/Wilts border with good trial facilities but happy to take to arena hire etc too

She has been recently broken and loves her work, she has 3 lovely balanced paces in the school and is fantastic out hacking on her own and in company.

Nova is happy to pop a course of jumps too! She has a big floaty movement so would excel in dressage or equally as an all round competition pony, having previously been shown as a youngster at county level.

Nova is genuinely one of the easiest ponies to have around and loves any amount of fuss!

She’s looking for a competent young jockey to really bring out her best.

14.2/3hh approx 5 year old welsh section D mare.

Bought directly from the breeder as a 3 year old and been slowly and correctly produced.

- Forward and fun but safe and sensible
- 3 balanced paces and works in a natural soft frame
- Makes a lovely shape over a fence
- jumping 80cm courses at home (popped over a single 95cm fence but not overjumped!)
- Been out competing at 70cm but still green in this area
- Been XC schooling a number of times and happy jumped a mix of 70/80 fences
- Can have 2 weeks off and still be the same when you get back on her
- Taken to pole work clinics by a nervous rider and really looked after her and has been helping a teenager regain her jumping confidence at home (however she is predominantly ridden by a confident adult rider)
- Been out showing with her breeder and earned frillies (showing isn’t my thing so she hasn’t done more with me!)
- hacks out alone or in company in front or behind
- regularly sees cars, lorries, farm machinery, motorbikes and unphased
- Polite to handle and home and out
- Loads (I have a 3.5 tonne lorry)
- Turns out in the field with others or on her own
- Shod in front, barefoot behind
- Only seen the vet for routine vaccinations/teeth since she has been with me

A couple of things I want to disclose:
- she went though a short phase of napping when she was first backed. If you continued to put pressure on she would mini rear. She very rarely even considers napping now (and hasn’t mini reared in a very long time).
- She can fidget for the farrier but my farrier still does her on his own without an issue
- Old scar on her leg from a youngster- but you have to be looking for it to see it!

She would suit a competent rider as although she is a very good sensible ride she is still young and learning. Rider in pics/vids is 5ft6.

£8,000 but negotiable to the right home.

He has lovely paces and presence in the dressage consistently scoring low 30s. He has so much scope and is brave and careful with it, easily pops 1.30m at home.

Edward is great fun cross country and has schooled easily around novice fences. He is a top candidate for Pony Trials but will equally be happy at pony club.

A genuinely nice pony to have around, Edward is good to do and kind natured. He can be spooky but is not silly with it. Loving home wanted for this really lovely boy.

We have had Chip (Pathfinder Olympic Flame) for nearly 5 years so know him inside out. He is a pleasure to do in all ways, on the ground and to be ridden. He has a massive personality and definitely a character on the yard. This is an extremely hard decision but my daughter has left for university and he will be wasted sitting at home. So we have decided it is time for Chip to teach someone new.

Chip is currently competing at 90cm showjumping unaffiliated. He is very careful and neat so he will usually go clear. He is currently schooling out cross country at 80cm and adding in some 90cm where he can. He is a pony that responds better to patiently building confidence. However, he is bold out cross country and absolute loves it. He has done one ODE last year I had planned to do more this year but unfortunately A levels came in the way of that.

He currently competes at prelim and novice in dressage. He does really like schooling and with the right person could easily excel at novice level. Chip is also a pro at pony club he has attended many rallies and has gone to 4 pony club camps and this is something he really enjoys. In the top class at PC he is often the demonstrator for schooling/dressage moves. Out hacking Chip can go in the font back middle he is very reliable and he's been a nanny to our other baby horse. He has also lived on farms so is very used to farm machinery and dogs. Chip is a very handsome pony wherever we go he always gets compliments.

Having said this he is not a first pony when Chip gets excited he can throw in a buck it is never to be nasty (and as he has grown up this is now very rare). He is also not a push button pony he wants you to work with him. He is a very honest pony but sometimes if he feels that you don't want to do something then he won't do it so he needs a confident rider. So for these reasons no novices please.

Unfortunately in September of 2023 Chip had a gastric impaction (following over consumption of a blackberry hedge - yes he loves his food!) (happy to discuss the details with full vet report and medical history). However this was 2 years ago and not had any problems since and doesn't affect him in anyway. Apart from this incident he is never sick or sorry.

Chip is up to date with vacs, teeth, physio etc .

He is good to load, clip and with farrier ( he has never had shoes on) .

He will come with all tack saddle, bridle, rugs etc

An ideal home for chip would be someone who wants to do a bit of everything and have fun with a safe sensible cheeky pony. He would also be a mother daughter/son dream. (I (Mum) very much enjoy riding him as he is so easy and safe out hacking and he has even popped a few 90cm jumps for me) Chip is a very sociable boy so he does need friends in his field he would hate to live alone. This is an extremely hard decision so please only enquire if you are serious, 5 star home only.

May is a beautiful liver chestnut 4yo Irish sports pony. She is a gorgeous colour, and has a gorgeous temperament to match!

May is very straight forward, hacks alone or in company, good in fields and open space and good with traffic. I have always ridden her in a snaffle.

May has attended hunter trials, she lead round the course and jumped ditches, rails and steps out in front! She was good as gold in the collecting ring, and was happy standing around the lorry park too.

I’ve taken May xc schooling where she has proven to very bold and careful and brave. She jumped whatever she was pointed at and didn’t stop at anything. Good with ditches/water/steps/skinnies.

May is good to hack alone or in company on the roads or in fields. I ride her in a snaffle.

May is forward off the leg but not a strong pony, she is working well in the school and improving every session.

May has been showjumping, arena eventing and has been to arena hires. She is always careful and very bold over fillers.

She would never buck, rear, do any nasties! She will be a fabulous pony of a life time for somebody!

May will be a fabulous jumping pony or eventing pony, WHP, she is a type very hard To find with being careful, kind and competitive. Open to any vet, loads and travels well, good with other ponies in the field. Good to bath, catch, farrier

Arnie is a beautiful childs pony inside and out and is ONLY for sale as he is hopelessly grown out of.

This talented beautiful pony has previously evented and hunted and has done all pony club activities with us. He started WHP classes this year and has not only won 2/3 Nursery stakes classes he has done but also stepped up to the open 133 WHP classes qualifying for the Royal International horse show (12th) and HOYS this year.

Some of his results
1st Cheshire Show Nursery Stakes
2nd Cheshire show novice 133 plaited WHP
2nd NCPA Staffs MM HOYS Qualifier
1st and reserve HOYS Champion Morten in the Marsh
1st BSPS Winter Champs plaited 133 WHP
1st BSPS Area 5 plaited 133 WHP RI qualifer
3rd Simply the Best MM (BSPS Summer Champs)
1st BSPS Area 1b Nursery stakes
Qualified national champs Hickstead NSEA 75 and 85 SJ
Qualified national champs Hickstead NSEA 75 and 85 arena eventing
1st and reserve champion Summer workers 80 and 90cm - Nottinghamshire County Show

He is brave and very scopy with excellent conformation (top conformation scores in two of the HOYS qualifiers he has done). He is won at Winter BSPS champs (open 133 plaited class) and placed in all but one of his other classes. He has narrowly missed qualifying for HOYS in the 133 open MM classes with a 2nd and 3rd.

My daughter has also qualified 75 / 85 NSEA SJ and arena eventing, competed at tetrathlon as he is awesome x country. His previous owners have jumped him double clear round BE 90.

Arnie is great to hack, shoe, handle and passed a 5 stage vetting when we bought him. He is a very genuine childs pony who is looking for his next best friend to have lots of fun with. He is so talented he could excel in any chosen field. He is snaffle mouthed in all disciplines and is stright forward.

Lilo was an event pony when we brought her but she has such a good scope we brought her as showjumper. She is very honest never stops but very forward so would need a strong rider. My daughter has 3 other top show jumpers that she wants to concentrate on in her final year so 2 have to go.

Bs show name is Fort View Noel's Earl

A lot of scope and never stops

Still in British novice points (JD)

Very easy to handle

Forward going pony so no novices

Other pony for sale ( Coreal Emma )

Both ponies currently with Jack Waddington
