Harley, a lovely rising 5-year-old skewbald mare standing just a fraction under 14.1hh, with a little more growing still to do. Harley is a real sweetheart — kind, friendly, and full of character — the sort of mare who wins your heart the moment you meet her. She’s beautifully marked, with a proper “leg in each corner” build, great bone, and a presence that makes her stand out wherever she goes. Harley is a very versatile and genuine little mare who takes everything in her stride and always tries her best to please.
Harley is a real pleasure to ride. She’s well schooled on the flat, with three balanced and rhythmical paces, and she’s happy to work forward without ever being strong or silly. She’s honest over her fences, enjoys her jumping, and has been schooled over coloured poles and cross-country fences — she takes every jump in her stride with a brave and straightforward attitude.
Out hacking, Harley is as good as gold. She goes out happily alone or in company, is excellent in traffic, and is used to all sorts of farm vehicles and country life. She’s the type of pony that gives her rider confidence, whether you’re popping down the lane, going for a gallop in the field, or out for a day’s hunting. Harley should also be ideal for all Pony Club activities — she’s the kind of pony you can truly have great fun with, no matter what you decide to do together.
She has an adorable, easy-going nature and is a pleasure to handle both on the ground and under saddle. Harley is good to shoe, box, catch, ride, and in traffic. She has no stable vices, is open to any vetting, and is ready now to find her next loving home.
