Absolutely best of homes wanted for this special boy . Hes good and up to date with vacations teeth feet clip etc . He’s been with m for 8 years. With previous owners hs a youngster he took king of the ring at chaps champs . Then has a 6 year old he qualified for r.i.h.s on his first attempt and still only a novice! I purchased him with the ride . Unfortunately I fell ill and was diagnosed with a health condition and wasn’t well enough to take him .

Unfortunately this has been the case in all the time hes been with me a stop start cycle . He lacks miles on the clock and is a little green, so he has never reached his full potential due to my on going health .He has attended a couple of clinics and local shows he has been to bigger shows and done con course de elegance with my sister for fun .

He travels in a trailer or box and is happy to stand on all day . He is well mannered to handle in and out of stable by any member of the family. He loves attention and pampering. He always puts a smile on your face !

He hacks round the village in heavy traffic. He needs to hack out more and see more of the world. He is not a jumper , it’s not his thing !

He is needing a purpose in life , has he is wasted here he is only in very light work . He would be ideal to bring on over winter and have fun . He is not a suitable novice ride or first pony a. A confident experienced rider to get the best out of him. Has nice paces for a bit of dressage . He does have mild hock arthritis that’s home treated . He needs to be in regular work .

Dylan - 12yrs Reg Dartmoor Gelding. Owned for 5 years, purchased from the breeder as a blank canvas.

Dylan is an absolute mothers dream to handle, catch, clip, loading, travelling and will stand alone on a trailer. Handled by children and inexperienced adults.

He has done a mix of things, he is well schooled by a small adult and walks, trots, canters and stops when asked. Enjoys jumping and has a cracking jump just needs consistency.

Has done dresssge, SJ, WH, handy pony, hound exercise, affiliated showing BSPS, NPS. Was 2nd in the Dartmoor Picton final at the summer champs. He's never been schooled by a child as my son isn't an experienced rider and only just coming off the lead rein. However with a confident child I feel this is where he will excel. He has been ridden by children in a school environment, is green but sane with the best willingness and temperament. He hacks forever and is 110% on the road, combines, tractors, machinery, lorrys, cars and trains, nothing phases him, alone, in company, the front or the back. Had group lessons and private lessons.

Lunges, long lines, has been swimming and on a treadmill.

Up to date with teeth, vaccines and physio.

Currently lives on a farm alone, so used to a very busy working farm, turned out with sheep and stabled next to cattle. Has also been to yards for holiday and schooling stays and is still a dream. Never naps, shouts or misbehaves at shows. As most small natives he is managed as a potential for Laminitis however has never had this, this is purely prevention and managed with a muzzle as and when required.

Dylan needs a kind, sympathetic, and experienced home and I am in no rush for him to go anywhere, a 10* home is the upmost priority.

A loving little mare with a heart of gold. Toffee has the kindest, most loving personality who just wants to be someone’s bestfriend.

Very eye catching and a pleasure to ride. Her flatwork is beautiful and well established. Snaffle mouthed, never strong or silly. Forwards going but never sharp and is more of a leg on type. Straightforwards and uncomplicated ride. Prefers someone quiet that won’t flap around. Happy to step down a gear or whizz up when asked.

Very responsive to the rider. She likes someone that will make a fuss and work quietly away with her. She has all the attributes to make a top competition pony or would equally suit someone looking for a friend to spoil and enjoy. Would produce an excellent dressage test.

Happily popping round a little course of fences. She’s a pretty brave type and will always try her best in any new situation or environment. Hacks alone or in company brilliantly. Has seen a variety of things whilst she’s been with me out hacking. Never a sharp, nasty type.

Oasis

For sale sooner than I was hoping for but my daughter is just to tall on her.

Oasis is a cracking pony who is keen to please. Since being with us she has done it all. We have taken her hunting, pony club and games. She is a very fun pony. She is a forward thinking pony and loves jumping and hunting.

She has qualified for NSEA 2025 for show jumping and arena eventing. She is great to hack with go first of last great in groups and open spaces.

Oasis loves a job and being a welsh I wouldn’t say she would be for a child who has just learnt to canter I feel she would be wasted and bored. We are currently jumping her 70/80cm and haven’t pushed her more as the jockey is too big for her.

Up to date with all vaccines, teeth and back, great to catch and shoe she travels alone or in company on a trailer or lorry.

We bought Minnie to give my daughter confidence after some nasty falls from her previous pony. Most recently my son has been riding her and she has been a part of the family for 3 years.

We have done everything with Minnie including pony club, showing, show jumping, xc, hacking. We have jumped her up to 50cm although generally up to 40cm at competitions. My son is moving onto my daughter’s bigger pony and Minnie is without a job, being wasted in the field.

On the flat Minnie is more kick than go. She is good as a lead rein/just coming off the lead as she will follow you around. She will pop around a small course of jumps nicely with a little jockey, but with more scary jumps she needs someone to run along side her, or a more confident jockey as she takes her confidence from rider/adult.

She has won multiple SJ competitions and eventer challenges with my son this year.

She has been to pony club camp every year since we bought her and my sons favourite thing is cantering up the hill at the end of camp with his ride.

She is good for farrier and loads beautifully/travels well. We clip her every year without sedation but we do bib or Irish clip as she’s not keen on ticklish areas.

She can be marish so we keep her on oestress supplement which works well for her. She is handled mainly by my children and goes out in the field with geldings.

Meet Bluebell, she is an 18yr old 14hh Connie mare, we have had her for nearly 2 years now and she’s been to pony club camp, local shows, hunted, sponsored rides, beach rides etc.

She is my daughter’s first pony and has taken her from cross poles to competing at 70cm. My daughter’s now 13 and is now ready to move onto horses as wants to do higher levels.

Bluebell hasn’t enjoyed being viewed by novice riders so I’m now looking someone who wants to explore the countryside, attend fun rides, hunts, beach rides etc with the school not a primary focus. She doesn’t do anything nasty in the school, just loves hacking and at her age, she deserves to do what she loves most.

Bluebell is ready for an easier life but she’ll be quite happy exploring for hours, she just doesn’t love the school anymore! Lots of videos available to be shared.

Good to clip, travel and shoe (she’s only shod in front), great in traffic/motorway bridges, hacks alone and jn company (front or behind). She is a much loved pony and I would like her next home to be a 5* knowledgeable one and one she’ll stay until retirement.

Easy to bath

She is shod in front and brilliant for the farrier. Up to date with vaccinations , teeth etc. Hacks alone and in company. Turns out with mares and geldings but equally happy on her own. Super kind, easy and straightforward pony to have around.

Has done 2 dressage tests with good scores and lovely comments. Can be left for a few weeks with no difference. I would prefer her to go to a home where experience is offered to continue her education.

I have boxed her up on my own and taken her to several new venues with no problems at all. She has been to pole and flat work clinics and also been away at camp where she settled straightaway.

Pumpkin really is a mother’s dream taking our daughter from being very nervous after a previously unsuitable pony to a confident rider taking part in all pony club activities, jumping up to around 70cm. Very little phases him, he is more woah than go, but once you know what buttons to press he can pull off a brilliant dressage test and is always fun and reliable at rallies.

He will never win the grand national so we trust him completely with our daughter in an open field, in company or alone. He has 3 lovely paces, much preferring his rocking horse canter to a gallop! He can be ridden every day or once a week and will not get silly.

Scoring 70% at area, this was the fourth year he has qualified for PC regional dressage championships, having also competed at area eventing and showjumping with his previous owner. We stayed over this year and he behaved impeccably all weekend, thoroughly enjoying his sleepover in the temporary stabling. He has attended multiple pc camps and is happy to turn his hoof to most things. A true pony club all rounder he took the title of Pony Club Pony for the second time this year at our local show and is rarely out of the ribbons.

He is a real character and absolute pleasure to have at home. Although renowned for pulling some ‘grumpy pumpy’ faces over the stable door it is all for show and he loves nothing more than a cuddle and some attention.

He is our daughter’s best friend, she can do everything with him herself, plait, bath, catch, load etc but her legs just won’t stop growing so reluctantly he now needs a new little dancing partner to look after as well as he has her.
