Rocky is a beautiful 14.2hh British Riding Pony. He has done a lot of dressage competitions over the past year both PC and BD. He always produces a beautiful test with lots of qualifying scores and has qualified for BD Area Festivals, the BD Quest series, PC Regional champs and NSEA National champs. Currently competing at Prelim/Novice, but has scope to go higher. Lovely lateral work - he knows it all!

He has previously competed BE and done unaffiliated ODEs in the last year with my teenage daughter with regular placings. He finished 2nd in the 70cm NSEA 3DE championship last season and won NSEA 70cm grassroots SJ qualifying for Hickstead champs. He has also done all PC activities including racing rallies, polocrosse, showing and camp. Won best PC pony at Christmas competition.

Due to his age he is now looking for a quieter life, so wouldn’t be any good if you want to go out jumping regularly, especially on this hard ground! He would ideally suit someone looking for a dressage (or possibly showing) pony, or a general allrounder. He would suit a competent teenager/small adult. Please no novices.

He is good to shoe, box, clip etc. Good in open spaces. Always ridden in a snaffle. Will stand on the trailer at shows.

He can be left in a field on his own or can go in company. He wouldn’t be suited as a first pony as he can still be a little green in his schooling. So please no complete novices looking for their first pony. He will lead off another horse no problem. Vaccinations all up to date.

With a competitive child he will go far and loves to please. I have owned him since he was a yearling so this is an incredibly hard decision to sell by with no jockey I have to do what is right for him as he is too good a pony to just stay in a field. He is currently on loan to a riding school due to having no jockey but it’s not suited to him as he likes to build a bond with a rider. I have plenty more pictures and videos available.

Joey is a superb pony, he loves to jump, has been well schooled, hacks out alone on roads, in orchards and open stubble fields. He's fine in light traffic but nervous with big vehicles.

He has a big scopey jump and is better over slightly bigger courses of 80cm+.

He is not a novice ride, but has been used regularly in the SEMH school I work at for lessons, travelling there fir s sleepover once a week. Used on the lead and lunge with learners. Off lead with the more advanced teenagers riding him and hacking him out. We also went for a forest ride with them where he was a star, taking 3 riders round the tracks.

I have owned Joey from an 18 month baby, we have competed at a local level jumping, dressage, showing (inhand and ridden), gymkhana and attended riding clinics.

Roger is a much-loved, genuine family pony who has been with us since he was two years old. He is only for sale because his teenage rider has sadly lost interest, and finding him the right long-term home is extremely important to us. If he were only a few hands higher he wouldn't be going anywhere, sadly I am too big for him!

Roger has a wonderful, affectionate nature and genuinely loves human company. He is brilliant to catch, can be caught by children or adults and will happily follow you around the field just to be involved. He loves being groomed, pampered and fussed over.

He has been ridden by children aged eight and thirteen, as well as small adults. Roger can be steady and sensible when required, but he also has another gear and will step up to be a fun and forward when asked. He enjoys his work, loves getting out and about and I'm sure will turn his hoof to almost anything.

Roger recently attended a local show, an arena hire to jump, pole clinics and has even tried horse ball, during every outing he was an absolute star, not putting a foot wrong. He has approached each new activity and environment with a trusting, willing attitude and generally takes things in his stride.

He hacks alone or in company and is excellent in traffic. He is unfazed by tractors, heavy goods vehicles, rattling trailers, roadworks, chainsaw, bicycles and dogs.

He is good for the farrier and vet and is straightforward to clip and bath. Roger is barefoot with good feet, has never had laminitis and can live either in or out throughout the winter. He has lived happily with both mares and geldings and is easy to share a field with. He doesn't get stressed when companions leave him or he leaves them.

Roger would make a fantastic lead-rein or assisted first-ridden pony, suit a child progressing with support, or make a versatile family pony. He has plenty to offer a family wanting to enjoy hacking, Pony Club activities, clinics, local shows, poles, horseball and jumping.

Bonnie is a lovely pony who unfortunately always been our project BS pony but hardly ever making it onto the lorry with the kids having other ponies, hence green for BS.

Bonnie would make an amazing pony club pony, on the times she has been to rallies she has exceled in all disciplines. She behaves impeccably, always comes in the ribbons and provides lots of safe fun for the child. Bonnie is a good-looking pony, who I am often told should go do showing or working hunter, especially when people see her extended trot.

No vices, lumps or bumps. Good for the farrier etc. Handled by my 10-year-old – including clipping. Snaffle mouthed, forward with breaks.

Bonnies hacks out, though often likes to be at the front – she has a pacey walk. Showjumping 60/70 is easy for her, 80 onwards requires the rider to ride her forward.

If anyone is looking for a cheap BS project pony, Bonnie would be a good. Over the last 3 months we have taken her to shows, big ones such as WHPI and summer pony prems. She takes them in her stride however can still get a bit distracted so has the tendency to get 4 faults or the odd stop. Bonnie has done BS 90 rounds clear and has a solid jump. For a knowledgeable home she would be a great BS starter pony.
