150cm Registered Welsh Section D Mare – 2017**

It is with great sadness that I offer my much-loved mare for sale due to my MS progressing. This is an incredibly difficult decision, so finding the very best home is my absolute priority.

Lady is a registered Welsh Section D mare, born in 2017, by Ionos Llion, out of a mare by (Pennal) Tireve Welsh Flyer. She is a quality, substantial mare with plenty of bone, presence and true Welsh character, making her an ideal weight-carrying type with the ability and scope to excel across a range of disciplines. Standing approximately 149–150cm (not JMB measured), she combines quality with a genuine, kind temperament and has proven herself time and again to be an exceptionally versatile all-round horse. I bought her from the breeder, so all her history is known.

**Driving**

Driving is where she truly shines. She pleasure drives confidently in the heaviest of traffic and absolutely loves her work, always going forward with her ears pricked and looking through the bridle. She carries a lovely light contact in your hand and is responsive without ever being sharp or strong. I have complete confidence driving her in any environment.

She has successfully competed in BDS events including Le Trec, show classes, cones courses and dressage tests. She was Champion at Smiths Lawn, highlighting her quality, trainability and versatility as a driving horse. She has all the attributes to continue progressing and be competitive in the right hands.

**Ridden**

Under saddle, she is equally capable and enjoyable. She has competed at affiliated level, jumped courses up to 1m, hunted and taken part in showing and dressage always scoring well. She is a responsive ride who enjoys having a job to do, yet remains safe and sensible enough for all the family to enjoy. She hacks confidently and is the sort of horse that can turn her hoof to almost anything. She has jumped round Suffolk County WHP course with ease & loves the beach!

She is never sick or sorry, has no vices and is a genuine pleasu8re to own. She is 100% to load, travel, clip and handle, and is easy to do in all ways.

This is a heartbreaking sale, and only the very best home will be considered for this special mare. She is a versatile, reliable and much-loved horse who deserves a home where she can continue to thrive and be appreciated for everything she has to offer. 

Her Hartland harness, Bennington carriage and her fylde ridden tack are also available by separate negotiation.

This beautiful pony has mainly been out unaffiliated show jumping with my 9 year old Daughter however she did lots of showing and working hunter in her previous home being equifest reserve working hunter champion.

Daisy is a very sweet mare who loves a fuss she will be brushed, and loved by children all day. Hacks alone or in company, great to clip, load, turnout, and currently barefoot.

She is suitable for any discipline, best suited to a confident child who wants to win or a teenager.

She has strong potential to be an event pony. Very bold loves her jumping and would do a lovely dressage test.

Rosie is a 14 year old, 13.2hh, gypsy cob all rounder, she is up to date with farrier, dentist and vets.

Rosie has had gastric ulcers in the past which have been professionally treated and are now gone, however Rosie can be quite girthy at times.

Within the last 6 years in this time we have completed, XC, showjumping, dressage, fun rides, hunting and pony club games whereby she has excelled throughout all. Rosie is rarely fazed by traffic but can become very excited at times so will need a strong and confident rider.

Amazing to load, be shod and clipped. She's the most sweetest, loving little mare one could ask for.

I want someone to enjoy riding and spending time with her as much as i do.

Sad sale of our much loved Poppy who we've owned for over a year and is now sadly outgrown. Green passport with full breeding.

During this time we've been active PC members attending many rallies and taking part in hacking, dressage, pony camp, events, shows, fun rides and natural horsemanship.

At her previous home of 4 years she also did a wide variety of activities as a first pony for a very confident child including SJ and games.

Poppy is fantastic on the ground and children can easily handle her, tack her up and load.

She's loves her work, with plenty of scope to give a confident child lots of fun and experience. We haven't hunted her or done XC off lead but am sure she would be brilliant at it too.

Roy as he’s known at home is a little gem of a pony. He was broken last Christmas and has quickly become the yard favourite.

Ridden by a variety of children and small adults.

He’s been flat showing, WH, SJ and arena hires. Jumped XC fences happily.

He’s got beautiful paces and a lovely jump, he could go far as a WH cradle or 122 and with time will be a super SHP or open A once he has filled his big frame.

Equally he would love a pony club home where he is loved and adored.

He’s super to handle, load, catch and gives kisses. He loves a fuss off the children and is used to the chaos that children create !

Hunter- 5yo 14.3hh Connemara Gelding

Hunter is a full-up 14.3hh, traditionally built Connemara with the most genuine and sweet temperament. He has the brain of an older, wiser horse; truly an old head on young shoulders.

We have owned Hunter since he was an unhandled 2-year-old, and he has been quietly and kindly produced here. Lightly backed as a 3-year-old, he was turned away over winter and brought back into work as a 4 year old and is now ready for an experienced teenager or adult to continue his education. He has been ridden and broken in by 11 and 12 year olds and he is good as gold with them.

He has been schooling, hacking out confidently both alone and in company, attended a Pony Club rally, and been to cross-country schooling outing; all with bravery and honesty.

Hunter is a firm favourite on the yard. He's easy to do, never strong, and has been ridden by our 11-year-old daughter both in the school and out hacking.

He's a joy to have around and adores being fussed and pampered.

Hunter has had all winter off and I haven't had the time to do as much as I would have wanted and he is at his prime for someone, we have hacked him out over the last couple of weeks and done a couple of schooling sessions and he has been good as gold. My daughter is taking up too much of my time with competitions so she is not going to have the time I thought to continue his education and compete 2.

Prince is extremely well schooled on the flat in all three paces- he does excel in the dressage arena.

After competing in France showjumping and dressage to a high level, as a sports pony : then showing again to a high level, he has been a pony club pony and WHP in his previous home and now with us an all- rounder, pc pony .

Prince is responsive not a kick along; he has been ridden correctly , with impeccable manners. Having been schooled to the highest standard.

Perfects manners as a lead rein pony , a first pony at home and a second pony when at competitions. He doesn’t get excited but knows his job and talented.
He will teach your child to ride correctly.
He is suited as a second pony with a child that has an independent seat and kind hands.

Ideally suited to a child to compete, pony club, eventing, showing or dressage. He can turn his hoof to anything. He’s been hunting with us and loves his hacking.
He could be ridden by petite adult. My husband hacked him he’s a complete novice and 5’4.
He is comfortable jumping up to 80 cm with my son. With scope for higher. With my daughter SJ 50/60cm with ease. Cross country he could jump 80cm with ease .

Well mannered in and out of the stable. Perfect to clip , vet, farrier etc.

Can be turned out on his own or with others. Used to heavy farm machinery and livestock.
Prince likes to be pampered and his stable comforts.

The children do all the care. Leading in and out, loading, washing , catching from field etc .

Rose is a beautiful stamp of a Dartmoor pony with the most genuine kind nature.

She has the makings of a top class LR pony that’s easy to home produce , Rose has lived a varied life whilst being with us, used as an alrounder for hacking at home, pc rallies and local level showing. The judges seem to love her and she has been really successful in the ring for us. In the right hands we really do think Rose could go all the way , she’s been started off gently and never strapped in, with a little further education she will be amazing.

Rose is excellent on the ground, loves being fussed over and pampered by children. She is happy to live in or out, perfect to load and travel , stands like a gem to be trimmed up and can be lead by small children.

No vices or health issues, this is a really sad sale and we really do want the best of homes for Rose.
