Cody AKA (Just Mr Cody)

Is homebred out of our old pony mare who jumped for fun by Tarkan - Sport horse stallion by Allround Cody is currently measuring at 147cm

Has was broken spring 2025 turned away for summer, he has been slowly brought on with mostly lots of hacking and short schooling sessions, Will genuinely hack anywhere, he is safe and sensible never silly, Light in the hand and carries himself well, A little backwards to leg at times but this is more fitness related but Constantly improving. He is ridden and hacked but myself and children aged between 10-14

Cody has the best nature & personality, He's good to clip can be done with no headcollar, Will load and travel well, good for farrier only ever been barefoot great sold feet , Been turned out in mixed herds with foals etc and is a kind soul loved a play with the young boys , would never bite or kick, Lives in or out Currently living in,

Was bred to potentially be top track pony, Has a cracking loose jump, Only popped couple of fences under saddle still finding his feet but willing and not spooky

Price reflects the fact Cody hasn't the best confirmation behind he is a little straight in hock and a bit low on fetlock behind, has been since a foal, It causes him no problems and vet has said as an every day pony club pony / Low level All rounder it never should, but this does mean he's not suitable to be produced as a top class competition pony even if we though he could be. Cody will be fine to go on and be a lovely fun pony you can trust,

For someone without the huge budget but looking for a lovely vice free pony one to bring on or a mother daughter/son share, Intention was to produce over winter before selling but offering him now at a very fair price, Never been lame sick or sorry

He is still green please don't expect a perfectly schooled pony but he is very safe, will walk trot canter soft in the hand and will hack anywhere, has popped a few small fences, water tray and jumped some small country fences and goes in water, fine with traffic, dogs bikes etc but he is still a novice
Good home is also massively important to me.

will not accept any offers he is priced very fairly

Top Class Allrounder – Kind & Talented rising 5yo Class 1 Connemara Mare

Introducing Sophie, a stunning rising 5-year-old Class 1 purebred Connemara mare, standing at 14.2hh. Sophie is the definition of a traditional Connemara pony—she has a leg in each corner, a beautiful head, a kind eye, and a calm, generous nature that makes her a pleasure to work with every day.

Sophie has the ideal temperament for a novice rider, a riding school program, a mother-daughter share, or a young rider wanting to do a bit of everything. She is sweet, steady, and exceptionally quiet, both to handle and to ride. Her laid-back attitude and genuine nature make her the kind of pony that gives confidence and always tries her best.

Under saddle, Sophie is nicely schooled with three balanced paces and a lovely rhythm. She works in a soft outline and listens well to her rider. Over fences, she really shines—she has a super jump with a careful, tidy technique that would make her an excellent working hunter or Pony Club allrounder. She is honest and uncomplicated to a fence and is equally bold and sensible out cross-country, where she never looks at a thing.

Sophie’s kind and willing attitude make her an ideal candidate for Pony Club, working hunter, or family use, and she has the temperament to suit a wide variety of riders. Whether you’re looking for a safe and straightforward pony to learn on, or a quality young mare to produce further, Sophie ticks every box.

She comes from excellent traditional Connemara bloodlines, by Tullaree Hawk (a son of the legendary Dexter Leam Pondi), out of a mare by Bobby Joe, with Garryhinch Finn also in her pedigree—names known for producing performance ponies with sound temperaments and quality conformation.

Sophie has no stable vices, passed a recent 5-stage vetting, and is open to re-vetting for serious buyers. Her price includes delivery to your yard anywhere in the UK, and if she’s not the perfect match, we offer an exchange policy for peace of mind.

Take a look at her video to see just how lovely and genuine Sophie is. For more information, feel free to call 00353868077626 or email gertytynan@gmail.com. This kind and talented mare is ready to find her forever home.

Twinkle - true first ridden all-rounder

Ref #: 392875
  • Proven all-rounder and confidence giver
  • Versatile lead rein, first pony and second pony
  • Experienced Pony Club pony
£4,995 ONO
  • Welsh Section A
  • Grey
  • Mare
  • 11 years
  • 11.2 hands
  • Proven all-rounder and confidence giver
  • Versatile lead rein, first pony and second pony
  • Experienced Pony Club pony

Twinkle (Beros Linnet) is a star!

She is safe both on the ground and ridden. She doesn’t kick, bite, buck, rear, bolt etc. She’s been a lead rein, first and second pony. She is able to step it up or down depending on the experience and confidence of the rider. For beginners or nervous riders she is more woah than go. However, for an experienced child that loves speed, she will fly. She looks after her rider and we’ve confidently put complete beginners on her without a lead rein.

We’ve owned her for nearly 4 years. During this time she was on working livery for a couple of years, teaching children to ride and canter, hacking with beginners, taking riders off lead rein and being fussed over at pony days. She was also a second pony for our autistic daughter doing all Pony Club activities and some competing.

She has then been on loan to a couple of local Pony Club families, first to take a child of lead rein and then to restore confidence after a bad fall. She is no longer needed at her loan home and our daughter is now happy for her to be sold and loved by more children. If circumstances allowed we’d even keep her as a pet.

She enjoys her work which has included lots of Pony Club rallies, training and Pony Camps plus other local clinics and competitions including gymkhanas and showing shows (first ridden and M&M), winning lots of rosettes. She has jumped courses up to 50cm and higher in chase me Charlie. She loves hacking and cross country. She is great to hack, safe around traffic, doesn’t spook or get over excited. She’s happy to hack as part of a group or alone and can be led with a bike. She hasn’t been led by another horse but knowing her temperament this wouldn’t be an issue. She’s regularly done the school run and loves being fussed by the children at the gate. She’s also used to other animals around, including dogs and riding on hound exercise.

She is safe on the ground and is happy being groomed, pampered and hugged. Shes easy to catch and can be handled 100% by children. She’s good with the dentist and farrier, being barefoot and had never shoes. She is no problem being clipped or bathed. She’s lived out with mares and geldings and as part of a herd. She respects fencing and has lived out 24/7. She is currently unclipped and unrugged. She’s also happy being stabled as long as it’s not barn style where she’s completely shut in. She likes to be able to see the sky.

She’s a hardy native pony that lives on fresh air and has never had laminitis. She is up to date with vaccines, teeth, physio etc. She can be left for days or weeks at a time without being ridden and is just as calm as always. She never needs to be lunged. However, like some of us, she benefits from regular exercise to manage her weight.

She can be wary of some mounted games equipment, standing firm and not wanting to come too close. However, with gentle reassurance and patience she overcomes her reticence. She would make a fantastic mounted games pony and if we had the facilities we’d be keeping her just for this.

She is affectionate and will come to you in the field and whinny to you. She is a fantastic pony and loved by children and adults alike. We adore her, but feel it’s now time for her to make another child very happy (sale only not loan). We would welcome a home that stays in touch.

Comes with full tack and wardrobe. Her saddle will need refitting as her current loan uses a thorn pad.

It’s now time our Hilary finds herself a home where she will be loved and cherished by a little girl or boy.

Hilly came to me as a 2yo so full history known, she has been kind, straight forward and easy from day one.

Backing her was a case of tacking up and going for a hack, she always been a pleasure.

Rising 5 and now standing 13.1h she is ready to do any job. She’s great to hack alone or in company. Jumps anything you point her at - isn’t complicated in anyway.

Pony club, all round, hunting, jumping, fun pony!!!

Calm and quiet will give anyone confidence shes A poppet on the ground.

Happily pops jumps and ditches!

Now hunted, would of happily tootled behind with small person on but also happy to keep up with the rest of the field. Stood quietly, could easily lead off another horse. An amazing child’s hunting pony.

A rare golden opportunity for someone to bring out a fresh face..

Absolutely top class golden dun Class 1 Connemara 7yr old 14hh gelding by the world renowned Gwennic De Goariva.

Billy is a fantastic stamp of a connie- with a beautiful substantial frame, excellent limb as well as beautiful straight paces.

He was purchased by us from Ireland and Lola (13yr) has carefully produced him herself. He has 3 beautiful paces as well as good lead changes around a course of fences.

Billy has done a little bit of everything in Ireland but ultimately was a fun home pony; with us we have taken him 80/90CM SJ/XC schooling and dressage. In the right hands with careful production he with out a doubt could be a future HOYS m@m/plaited WHP Winner. PLEASE NOTE- he is NOT being sold as a made ready to go RIHS/HOYS worker; he’s a novice!

That aside- Billy would make either a superb BE event pony, dressage pony, pony club pony and family share. You could put any one on him from a tiny tot to your grandma and know he would safely look after them. He will step up for a confident capable rider, and step down for a less able rider.

He is excellent to do in all ways- excellent to catch, load, trim, box etc and is never any hassle. Handled daily by 75yr old nanny and children.

He has no vices or health problems known to us.

A substantial figure is required into the 5s. He is a true gold dust pony to find. If he was 13hh he wouldn’t be going anywhere but Lola needs the inbetween step to help her progress up the ranks

Absolutely NO daydreamers or video collectors. Please pick up the phone and come see him

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.

She loves people , loves fuss , loves her job

A yard favourite by the children both big and small

She is more forward going than a kick a long but by no means about to bomb off

Been used in both group and single lessons and children have always come out smiling

She takes the leg so although compact can take a tall rider

Loves her hacking

Dewi is proving to be a sensible young chap with a mature head on his shoulders. Hes just over 11 hands has plenty of bone, type and movement, a real traditional stamp of a pony.

Hes been ridden by my 6 year old daughter on the lead and currently walk trot and cantering with children of different ages and abilities.

Hes hacked out, has popped a jumped and will be continuing his education while here with me.

Vaccinated up to date, good with the farrier, good to catch and handled daily by children.

Lots of videos and pictures.

Porcha is every mother’s dream pony. We purchased Porcha to teach our youngest child to ride from a complete novice.

Porcha has given our daughter experience and confidence in her riding with hacking, hunting and show jumping .

Porcha is a dream to be around both riding and on the ground, often taking the lead out on hacks for less confident horses and riders.

Kind natured and straight forward and always a firm yard favourite. Easy to load, clip, for the dentist and with the farrier.

Don’t be put off by her age as she is showing no signs of slowing down and has plenty left to give.

We are a small RDA centre with a big heart looking for multiple types and sizes of horses from 13.2 – 16.3hh ride and/or drive. We are based South West London and hack out in one of London's royal parks.

Temperament is very important and must be good to handle by multiple people. We offer our horses a variety in their life, mostly involving hacking and fun days out. We don’t have an arena onsite so ability to hack is a must. We offer herd turnout, with work rotation so horses get a large amount of rest days.

Welfare and care are our upmost priority, 5* home waiting with lots of love and care.
