A true mother's dream and a fantastic all-round pony by Thistledown Alaarth.

She has previously enjoyed great success in the showing ring, qualifying for the Sunshine Tour Championships at Hickstead, where she achieved 1st place in Junior M&M.

She then went on to be crowned Supreme Champion and qualified for the Super Supreme Championship.

She has also turned her hoof to a variety of activities, including local shows, showjumping clinics, cross-country hires, beach rides.

She is always willing, sensible and eager to please, proving to be careful, clever and showing excellent potential over a fence. She consistently comes home with rosettes.

Most recently, she competed with a 10-year-old girl, confidently jumping clear rounds at 60cm and 70cm.

Really is the sort that's hard to find. She's the type you can jump on bareback, hack back to the field and know she'll look after you. She'll happily turn her hoof to anything – showing, showjumping, Pony Club, games, fun rides, beach rides, hacking or simply being a much-loved family pony.

She is snaffle-mouthed for everything and is beautifully behaved in open spaces.

She'll happily have a good canter in company without getting silly, strong or sharp, then come straight back to walk on a loose rein with the buckle in your hand.

Shes now sound and doing fine on restricted grazing so will need management with diet and exercise.

Sad sale of our daughter’s second pony. Jester came to us with a BS record having qualified blue chip / Hickstead and jumping novice and discovery. He absolutely loves jumping , and has shown that he is happy to step back down for a more inexperienced rider. Currently jumping UA 60/70 and always placed. 

He is brilliant to hack, our daughter takes him out by herself for hours. Great in all traffic.

Schools beautifully and will produce a nice test. We have also done PC/RC .

Forward going but always ridden in a snaffle. Can be brought back easily. For this reason he is not a first pony or for a novice.

Wonderful to shoe, clip, load and for the vet. Kind on the ground. Loves a groom and often falls asleep.

This gorgeous boy is looking for a new, loving home. Olly is fantastic in the right hands, but is not a novice ride. He has spent the summer on loan to a friend, and with his young rider (11) has won many accolades, including Pony Club Camp Best Turned Out and Reivers Week Best Turned Out. At the Berwickshire Show he gained 1st in 85cm Working Hunter and was overall Working Hunter Champion.

Stepol Northern Dancer ‘;DANCER’, beautiful bay 14.2hh allrounder, Welsh section D mare who loves to be active. 16 years’ old and a genuine schoolmaster, she is great with children of all ages and adults alike but would thrive with a young teenager that she can help step up. She is easy to groom and tack-up with an excellent temperament, great to hack either alone or in company, is good around cars, and loves to jump up to 1m comfortably and has occasionally jumped up to 1m20 single fences. She enjoys flatwork but does not have much experience in dressage, however, would make for a beautiful dressage pony.

She is good to travel, but can sometimes be reluctant to load if she does not travel regularly or is not familiar with box/trailer. She has been to multiple farm rides, non affiliated show jumping competitions, cross country events, arena hires and gallops and has thrived in all areas. She is not strong and has exceptionally good breaks so is only ridden in a snaffle with no flash required. She was also previously part of a Pony Club at a riding school.

For the last couple of years, Dancer has generally only been ridden for non-competitive pleasure but can easily be brought back up to a competing level.

She was bought for 11-year-old daughter and has done well with her for the 6+ years we have owned her, only deciding to sell due to a change in circumstances and time commitments. Dancer is a low maintenance pony, who typically lives out from March through to the end of October with no issues. She prefers life living out and only gets brought in at night during the winter months due to requirements of the livery she is on now but would be happy to live out all year round.

She has never bucked, reared, or kicked people during our ownership, however, does experience mild crib biting after she is given treats or is in the stable for prolonged periods, no health issues relating to cribbing have been identified by her vet.

An absolutely wonderful pony ideal for first time or experienced owners alike.

POPSTERS LEMON GEORGETTE.

Lemon is a very well bred, super smart dun mare who really catches the eye wherever she goes and whatever she is doing. She is a top class pony who can happily turn her hand to any discipline. She has been quietly and correctly produced over the past year by my now 13yr old daughter.

She has 3 lovely paces and works well on the flat and is still improving as she gets stronger. She loves to jump and is really brave to a fence. She is schooling confidently over 80cm SJ and Xc. Lemon isn't bothered by coloured fillers and jumps steps, ditches, skinnies and water. She has been to numerous PC rallies, indoors, outdoors, Sj and Xc rallies. Pc references are available. She has recently qualified for trailblazers at 70 and 80cm and attended pony club residential camp.

Competitively she has won and been placed at unaffiliated dressage on grass, placed working hunter and tetrathlon all with my daughter. She really is a very talented pony who we really feel can go right to the top in many disciplines. Ideal competitive NSEA/PC pony. At home she is great we use her to nanny breakers and naughty horses.

She happily hacks alone round the roads and round the farm checking the sheep. She is fine with cars and vans but green with large farm machinery. Snaffle mouth at all times, she is definitely more kick than pull however being only 5 she wouldn't suit a total novice or a very nervous small child.

She is super easy to have around and happily lives in or out and turns out with mares or geldings. She has never been sick or sorry and up to date with vaccinations and the dentist. Lemon can be a little nervous with the farrier but she is getting better all of the time. Currently happily barefoot.

I have ridden for several years & consider myself a knowledgeable & capable rider. However, due to ongoing health issues with my horse, who is now retired, I haven’t ridden as consistently in more recent years & so I am no longer as confident as I once was. We will be enjoying fun hacks from home, attending organised pleasure rides, forest trips, XC schooling & some clinics. I will at times want to hack alone but will also hack alongside my young daughter on her (sometimes quirky!) horse, so it is especially important that I find a level-headed, trustworthy type who I can depend on. Due to us going out in our horsebox regularly, I would like to find a horse who is good to load / travel &, most importantly, who remains calm & polite to handle & ride in different environments.

Our horses are kept at home with us & have all year turnout (stabled overnight during winter). I would love to find a gentle natured, polite character & a true best friend type.

We live in a rural area & although we generally meet very little traffic, when we do, it is often likely to be a tractor/farm vehicle. Therefore, it is hugely important that my new horse is confident around this type of traffic.

Great hack alone or with company, forward but not strong, soft snaffle mouth, schools nicely when in consistent work, goes nicely in an outline when in consistent work, we have been schooling him jumping , pole work so he see's his own stride, but he will still jump whether he see's his own stride or gets it wrong. we have had him out competing, great to load and travel and fine with all going on around him in the warm up, goes with his ears pricked and a smile on his face, he is not the finished article, but he has been out competing and been placed each time so far, (no poles down)

Been in hand and ridden showing and whp, and hunter pony classes inhand, won or placed each time out, a genuine nice to deal with all rounder, loads and travel's well alone or with company, stands quietly on the lorry when his buddy is taken off and quietly waits his turn, really nice guy to deal with, goes out/in first or last, out in field alone or with company no issues just likes his food, presently carrying to much weight, as he is not doing enough work due to my health issues.

I brought him (mature petit female) with the intention of showing, whp, sj, ode, arena eventing and hunting and hacking and he does it all with a smile on his face, I feel now he would suit a younger rider who is happy to compete regularly and keep him in consistent work.

lovely chunky stamp of a pony, no recorded breeding but by his lovely cheeky kind character and his eye catching leg action in trot, I would assume him to be a welsh part bred. not enough feather to do traditional classes though !

Happy chap to deal with day to day, good catch , clip , farrier load etc, no vices or lumps or bumps, very good doer !

Brought 20 months ago with full 5 stage vets cert. open to any vet.

After my heart attack i am unsure going forward of my future plans so he is sadly offered for sale , his tack and rugs could go with him at an additional cost.

he is not available for loan, and I do not think he would suit a novice.

I did not expect to advertise him once I got him going, but sadly no one can predict the future or health issues

He is a lovely natured pony who should be out competing and enjoying himself with a like minded rider.

A small 9 year old with a beautiful seat and hands, currently popping around 50cm out, 60cm + at home on a saintly type.

Said child is not here for mind games, life lessons, or character-building via being launched into next year.

We are seeking confidence, not chaos.

Job description for said unicorn:

* Take child safely from 50cm up to ~70cm without drama.

* Attend Pony Club, school teams, hacking adventures

* Be a best friend, therapist, and occasional babysitter

* Be 100% in open spaces (we live on a farm - no hedges to cling to here, just vibes and fields)

* Hack alone and in company like it’s a gentle stroll through a Jane Austen novel

* Preferably the type that, when faced with excitement, thinks:

“Absolutely not, I am a professional.”

Personality required:

* Has absolutely nothing left to prove to anyone

The home:

* Experienced, knowledgeable, and slightly obsessive

* Farm with turnout, routine, and a varied life
