  • Would suit a small adult looking to do dressage and hacking
  • Lovely temperament
  • Great all-rounder

Cheeky (please don't be put off by her name, she's actually a very good girl) is a very special pony looking for her next loving home. She has been with us for the past 3 years and has been an absolute joy to own, doing wonders for mine and my daughter’s riding ability and confidence.

Cheeky is a fantastic all-rounder who loves having a varied and active life. She has turned her hoof to everything we have asked of her, including pony club rallies, camps, show jumping, cross country, dressage and hacking.

Recently I have registered Cheeky with British Dressage and she has really started to excel at this. We are currently competing at prelim level with sores high in the high 60's and working towards novice.

With my daughter she is comfortably competing at 80cm with plenty of rosettes to show for it. She has qualified for the Sunshine Tour for the past 3 years, including being placed reserve champion. She also won the pony club regional’s 70cm show jumping, competing against a field of over 100 horses.

Cheeky has an amazing temperament and is an incredibly friendly, affectionate pony. Easy to handle. She is not mareish at all and has excellent ground manners. She absolutely loves attention and enjoys being fussed over.

She is a chunky 14hh and takes up the leg well, I am 5'3and my daughter 5'4 (shown in the pictures) so would suit a child / small adult, excellent mother, daughter share

Not suitable for a complete novices, more a 2nd pony.

Cheeky is:

• Excellent to hack both alone and in company, my 14 year old daughter hacks her alone.

• Good in open spaces

• Fantastic at stay away shows and camps

• Happy living in or out

• Very good with both mares and geldings but must live with other horses

• Excellent for the farrier, currently barefoot with fantastic feet.

• Good to load and travels well without the partition or a wide partition

• Good to catch, clip, groom and bath

• Very affectionate and loves a fuss

Cheeky really is a wonderful, kind and hugely talented pony who has given my daughter so and me so much confidence and so many fantastic memoires. She has been a complete pleasure to own and this is a genuinely heart-breaking sale.

We are looking for a 5-star knowledgeable and loving home where she will be treated like one of the family. We would absolutely love to stay in touch. We are still in touch with a couple of her previous owners, so we have a good understanding of her history. We are only selling as my daughter is moving onto horses and I can't afford to keep 2.

Cheeky is a member of Woodland Hunt pony club, references are available from our DC and our riding instructor if required.

Please whatsapp or call on 07921 458601 for further information

14.2hh, 15-year-old Gelding – Welsh/Haflinger (Welsh Passport)

Ideal Pony Club, Riding Club & NSEA Pony

A much-loved second pony looking for his next best friend. He’s not a novice ride as he takes confidence from his rider, but there isn’t a bad bone in his body and he’ll try his heart out for you if you tell him he can.

He is a genuine all-rounder who loves having a job and thrives on routine. He’s been there, done it and got the T-shirt – Pony Club rallies, camps, stay-aways and competitions.

Currently:

* Competing at Novice Dressage with a recent score of 69% at BD County level (Prelim Inter-County Team).

* Happily jumping 85–90cm unaffiliated and training higher at home.

* Qualified for and attended numerous championships during his time with us (PC & RC).

He takes up the leg well and I (5’7”) can happily ride him, making him a potential mother/child share, or suitable for a parent to keep ticking over if needed.

He really enjoys hacking and is happiest in company.

His ideal home:

He absolutely must have all-year turnout (even if only for a few hours each day). He needs to get out of his stable and be a pony. When he had restricted turnout he became a little sour in the stable and could be fresh in the school. Since moving to a yard where he’s turned out regularly, he has been an absolute angel and is a much happier pony. Finding him the right home is far more important to us than anything else.

Good to:

* Shoe

* Clip

* Travel (can take 5–10 minutes to load but has never been an issue)

In the three years we’ve owned him he has never been sick or sorry, and at 15 he’s certainly not ready to slow down. He’s fit, happy and ready to have lots of fun with his next person.

Two sets of tack and a full wardrobe of rugs available by separate negotiation.

Based in East Hertfordshire.

Serious enquiries only please – this special boy deserves the very best of homes.

Maggie is a 13.2hh 15 year old cob mare. She’s an ex RDA pony, so super quiet. Fabulous to hack out and handle, good in all 3 paces and will pop a little jump. She has been mostly hacking in the last 6 months as she hasn’t been enjoying her RDA work. She didn'y enjoy being led or having side walkers with a rider on board, hence not suitable for RDA

She would suit a small adult or a teenager.

Great to shoe, clip, box etc

She has CPL which is easily managed by clipping her legs.

Really lovely pony, but needs a 1:1 home. The right home is more important to us than the price, but needs to be 4 figures

Winters Eye Of The Storm, Winter for short is a TGCA registered Mini Cob.

He has just turned 5 and has been recently backed and riding away.

His first ridden show coming home with first place in children’s novice rider he is an absolute star.

He has been shown in hand successfully as a stallion we have since had him gelded for him to have a better future and mix with herds.

He hacks out alone or in company and is happy to lead.

He has started popping cross poles and does not bat an eyelid.

He is green but lovely and forward he will turn into something really special in a year or two once filled out to his full potential.

He is currently turned out with a Shetland mare and a colt mini cob.

Happy to live out but does love to come in his stable.

Will turn out alone or in company.

Loads absolutely fantastic.

Brilliant for farrier. He is bare foot currently.

I bought him as a project to prepare him to be a child’s show pony now he is ready to find his forever home as much as it breaks my heart I am in no rush to sell this pony and home comes before the sale. He will continue to go to shows and has a hunt booked in on the 25th September so happy to keep him ❤️

He will come with saddle, brand new bridle and bit, fleece saddle pad, in-hand show bridle, winter turnout rug, lightweight turnout rug, flu rug, head collar and fleece.

He is not a cheap pony and he is worth his weight in gold to whoever takes him home.

Clean limbed with amazing confirmation.

Sweet pony with bags of potential

Our stunning, clean limbed, great allrounder has been to pony club rally’s indoor and outdoor, on surfaces and grass, has competed in dressage and SJ competitions and been on funrides. Not phased by open fields, going through woodland and through water. Great to hack, both in a group or in his own and has been on multiple hound exercises.

He has been show successfully in a pervious home but with us we have allowed him to experience a bit more of the world than just showing as whilst he is 10 he was only backed as a 9 year old so had little mileage but he is in work and going out and about.

My lightweight 14 year old son absolutely loves riding him as he is so responsive but he is a little green for his age.

He is just sadly very much outgrown, my son has grown like a weed over the holidays and younger daughter has lost interest.

Ideal home would be with a small older rider that can help him continue his education and achieve his full potential.

Good to load, bath, catch (comes to his name), great with farrier, dentist and all up to date with all vaccines.

STANLEY GRANGE TAITTINGER

148cm 7 yo bay gelding. This pony is an absolute delight. He’s been with us a few weeks. And honestly hasn’t put a foot wrong. He is like a pet to deal with on the yard. Gets on with all other horses. Perfect to hack. He stood on the motorway bridge and didn’t batter an eye. Doesn’t get silly or strong on the gallops

Or in the field. Not massively experienced to a fence as mainly shown. But is really enjoying it. And proving to be just as easy as he is to do Everything else. Doesn’t mind having a few days off is still a well behaved pony. We can’t find anything negative about him. He has been successfully shown. Qualified RI 25/25. And Was placed 5th there. A regular in the ribbons. I’d love this lad for my daughters. I’ve tried!! but they won’t part with theirs.

The only reason this wonderful pony is for sale is because the current rider has found him a bit ‘much’ in the show ring. He’s been professionally produced and he gives it his all

Peraidd Braveheart (Tom)

Tom is a lovely, versatile pony who we feel would be much better suited to a private home than the busy riding school environment.

He has done lots of lead rein work and is safe and sensible on the lead. He is used to loud noises, busy environments and wobbly or inexperienced children.

Tom has also done lots of work off the lead and, before coming to us, attended a few local shows. He has a great jump and is a really adaptable ride. He can adjust himself to suit his rider, whether they want a lead rein, first ridden or want to ask a little more of him and have him step up a gear.

Unfortunately, Tom has shown us that he doesn’t particularly enjoy the riding school environment. Over time, he has become nippy, which is not something we can have in a riding school where we have young children handling horses unattended. Before coming to us, this was never a problem so we know he is not happy in our setup.

We therefore feel that Tom would be much happier in a private home, where he can have more individual attention and a lifestyle better suited to him.

Tom has so many lovely qualities and we would really like to find him a home where he can thrive and continue to develop as he is still only 7.

Experienced home preferred.

Hummus is a lovely young mare who came into our care in August 2026 as a transfer from the RSPCA. She is a very sweet and people-oriented pony who enjoys spending time with her handlers and loves a good groom. As she is still young, Hummus is looking for a home that can continue her education through patient, consistent handling to help her grow in confidence. She is currently working on second headcollar training and learning to have her feet picked up, and is making steady progress as she gains experience.

Currently living out 24/7 with another mare, Hummus enjoys equine company and would suit a home where she can continue to develop at her own pace. With her kind nature and willingness to engage with people, she has all the qualities to become a fantastic future children's project pony. Equally, she would be very happy in a caring companion home where she can continue building her confidence and forming strong bonds with her handlers.

Like any young horse, he is still learning and building his confidence, but he approaches new experiences with a willing attitude and is a pleasure to spend time with. Currently living out in a youngster herd, Tyrell gets on well with other horses and would make a fantastic companion, particularly for other youngsters. With his cute looks, kind nature and easy-going temperament, Tyrell is sure to win the hearts of everyone he meets.

Tiggi has brought my daughter on from jumping 30/40cm to jumping bs stepping stones and winning lots of 60/70cm classes We haven’t pushed her beyond this due to her age although she looks and acts much younger. Has qualified for the scope festival the last 2 years.

She is a forward thinking pony who loves to run and jump therefore more suited to a brave and competitive child however she doesn’t have any naughty tricks ie bucking, rearing, napping etc.

She loves competing and will stand on the trailer with or without company all day without a fuss.

She hacks out, is easy to clip including head and legs, loads and travels well, easy to catch, good for bathing and lives in or out with or without company.

She is still out competing regularly and winning lots can be viewed with my daughter competing her at a show.

Lad is a 6-year-old Welsh Cross gelding looking for a companion home with an experienced adopter who enjoys working with horses through positive reinforcement and confidence-building techniques. He has had a difficult start in life but is a kind, willing pony who tries his hardest and is incredibly rewarding to work with.

Lad is still building confidence with handling and can be worried about touch, so he needs a calm, patient owner who can continue his training and help him develop trust. He leads well, is generally sensible in new environments, and has been good for the vet and farrier with reassurance and positive reinforcement.

He is happy to live out 24/7 or on a part-stabled routine and enjoys having a stable. Once settled, Lad can stay alone for short periods in either the field or stable. He currently lives in a gelding herd and would love companions who enjoy play as much as he does.

Lad is looking for a knowledgeable home that will continue his education, celebrate his progress, and enjoy building a rewarding partnership with a clever and sensitive pony.
