Sadly, the time has come to find our much-loved Thistle a new home, as my daughter has simply outgrown him. If I could make her stop growing, he wouldn't be going anywhere!

Thistle is a 12.2hh Welsh Section B with a typical Welsh personality – full of character and always keeps you smiling! 😂

He loves his jumping and is currently competing at 60cm showjumping, where he regularly comes home with the rosettes. At home, he has confidently jumped up to 80cm and really enjoys his work. He’s taken my daughter from courses of X Poles to this height. We’ve had him out at XC and done a little dressage test with him.

Because Thistle can occasionally throw in an excitable little buck when he's feeling fresh or enthusiastic, I would describe him as a second ridden rather than a first pony. It's never anything dangerous or malicious, and it's nothing big

He can be turned out in a herd or happy to be by himself

Recently attended his 1st pony club rally with us at XC & BS Club show where he behaved brilliantly an picked up his first points

Will produce a lovely dressage test

Upto date with everything

Amazing hunting pony - 9 year old golden dun mare. Hunted 3 full seasons, and some odd days this season, with The South Downs Bloodhounds (now The Wessex Bloodhounds) - has field mastered and ridden up with hounds.

Will go first or last and has caught many loose horses! Hunting references available.

Loves fun rides, beach rides, pub rides, XC schooling and hacks in company or alone in the New Forest. Great to load, shoe, bath, clip and with farrier, vet and dentist.

Vaccinations and teeth up to date. This pony would definitely race as has the heart to win. Loves hacking and jumps anything on The New Forest - gorse bushes, ditches, logs etc - not strong - will gallop and pull up very easily.

We bought her to hunt and she has been amazing - we are not selling her as a competition pony because we haven’t done anything like that with her as we are not a competition home - please don’t ask for videos of her competing in SJ, dressage, Eventing or at PC or videos of her in a competition environment, as we do not have these. This doesn’t mean she won’t do this very easily and would love it, but we don’t have any evidence.

Perfect mother daughter share. This is a very sad sale due her being outgrown and rider moving onto horses. She is a very sweet pony who is loved to death.

She will not compete on her own but loves going out to arena hires, cross country, hacks, and etc and will do a lovely pairs.

She is very gentle and wouldn’t hurt a fly and once she trusts you she would do anything for you.

She would never do anything nasty and will always help you out.

Hacks alone and in company, not bothered by the heaviest of traffic. Has nannyed young green horses on the roads.

Well schooled and confidently jumps upto 65cm. Would jump higher with a more confident rider.

Has done flatwork lessons at Solihull riding club and XC schooling. She was recently sent away for show jumping schooling.

She is a forward going pony so does need a competant rider off the lead rein, not a first pony.

She is safe and does have breaks.

Although she can jump really well Sorena prefers Xc jumps logs etc. Coloured poles are not her forte. So I am not advertising her as a jumping pony. Out hacking she happily pops logs etc and when she has hunted she jumps the rustic jumps happily .

Serena is a hugely characterful 11.2hh Welsh Section A mare looking for her next person to enjoy some adventures with.

Serena came to us having enjoyed a very busy life doing shows and fun rides, and since coming to us she has been kept on an exceptionally quiet yard. Although we love having her, we’ve come to realise that the quiet life simply isn’t the life Serena is craving. She wants to be out, seeing things, going places and having something to do.

She really comes alive when she’s out hacking. She is forward, enthusiastic and incredibly brave, with very little phasing her. She is happy to go in front or behind and would suit a child who wants to hack, explore and have fun.

In the school Serena needs someone positive, confident and with a strong enough leg to ride her forward. She is good on the lead rein, but can become bored with little riders and repetitive schooling, needing plenty of encouragement for circles and school work.

We sadly don’t feel we can give Serena the busy, active life she clearly thrives on, which is why we are looking for a home where she can get out and about, enjoy her hacking and hopefully continue doing the things she loves.
