Bessie is a super pony club pony, having done lots of rallies, shows, junior camp, senior camp, non-PC camps, SJ, XC. Ideal second ridden pony. She competed at Area PC Dressage getting through to the Regional Champs last year getting well placed. She happily jumps 40, 50, 60 and 70cm. She loves XC, she has done xc training at camp, Somerford and has done unaffiliated ODE at Eland. She has done Chillington Arena Eventing as well as Winter Indoor Arena Eventing. She has also qualified for Hickstead with the NSEA schools jumping competitions. She loves hacking too, alone or in company and is good with all traffic, she isn't spooky. Out hacking she is happy in front or behind in walk, but does like to be in front at trot. She is currently living on a working farm, so used to seeing large machinery and cows. Good in open spaces. She is good to load, clip, bath, catch. She is a kind and willing pony who loves her work and enjoys an active life, she is a fun forwards pony but not silly. She has a fun personality which we adore, she is a great kids pony. Sadly outgrown by current rider who is moving onto horses, 5 star home a must for our much loved Bessie.

Patrick’s Palomino Prince AKA “Max”

4 year old TGCA Part-Bred Registered Palomino Cob Gelding standing at 14.1hh, with some growing and maturing still to do. Expected to finish around 14.2hh. Rider pictured is 5ft 7.

Max was backed earlier this year and has been brought on slowly and correctly, with his education focused on getting out hacking and seeing the world. He has a kind, laid back temperament, and is now ready for someone to continue his education.

He hacks alone and in company, and is brilliant in traffic. Wagons, tractors, farm machinery, dogs, cows and bikes don’t seem to bother him.

As you’d expect from a 4 year old, Max is green in the school, but he’s straightforward and very willing. He hasn’t been rushed or overproduced and has been allowed time to mature at his own pace. He has a very trainable temperament, takes everything in his stride and genuinely wants to please. He’s regularly hacked on busy country roads and through open fields, and has proved himself to be a sensible and genuine young horse.

Max has no vices. He’s easy to catch, good to load in both a trailer and wagon, good for the farrier, and is up to date with vaccinations, worming and the dentist. He lives happily in or out, gets on well with other horses and is generally very easy to have around.

He’ll stand tied up patiently while you potter about, loves being groomed and fussed over, and stands happily to be bathed. He was clipped for the first time this spring and behaved impeccably throughout.

As good as he is, Max is still a young horse and learning, so he wouldn’t be suited to a beginner at this stage. That said, he has happily carried children and nervous riders under supervision and has always looked after them.

Max is a genuine, kind young cob with a lovely attitude to life. He’s the sort that’s becoming increasingly difficult to find and I’m sure he’ll be someone’s best friend.

Golden Girl “G” is a lovely young mare with three expressive, balanced paces. She will produce a beautiful dressage test and absolutely loves to jump.

She has been showjumping at arena hires and has been cross-country schooling, where she has shown fantastic potential. She confidently tackles ditches, water and steps, taking everything in her stride. She is forward-going, fun, athletic and has a careful, scopey jump with a genuine desire to please.

I believe G would excel in a showjumping or eventing home and certainly has the potential for grassroots competitions and pony trials. Equally, with her quality movement and trainable attitude, she could easily pursue a pure dressage career.

She hacks happily both alone and in company.

As she has only recently turned four, G is not a novice ride. She has been produced correctly and has never been rushed, so she is ready for someone to continue her education. She would ideally suit a competent young rider or small adult looking to produce a talented horse through the levels. A very pretty chestnut mare with a lovely flaxen mane and tail. She was a brood mare until aged 9.

She was bought by elderly lady in 2025 for hacking and proved very suitable for that. Good in traffic, used to farm traffic, not spooky, very comfortable paces. Elderly lady has now been stopped from riding on medical grounds.

Fleur is still green so needs experienced rider to give her confidence but is willing to learn new things. She was placed in her very first Arena TREC competition last November, loved the obstacles and obviously enjoyed the whole event.

She is good to catch, shoe (although happy to go barefoot), lives in or out and is good to load and travel.

Winneydene Justyn or 'Jester' moves beautifully in all three paces, with a balanced, comfortable canter. He really stands out in a crowd and shows great scope and technique over a fence.

With us he has done pony club rallies and camp, small shows, dressage competitions and lots of hacking including beach rides. Previously he did a lot of showing. He had never really jumped before we had him two years ago so is still a bit of a novice, especially as my very nervous daughter will only try over small tracks! He really enjoys his jumping and has great potential to do a lot more with the right jockey.

He is good on the lead rein but is more of a second pony off the lead as he can try it on by napping and occasionally bucking. He needs a confident rider and then does not play them up at all.

He's quite chunky and takes up the leg well but is now outgrown.

Good to load, catch, groom, bath and for the farrier (he's barefoot) and dentist.

No health issues and up-to-date with vaccinations and teeth.

Lives in or out all year round but you have to watch his weight!

Can be strong to lead in a headcollar, and pulls faces especially around food.

He is a real character to have around and often makes us laugh with his antics. We really want to find him the right home. Price includes tack and rugs.
