Introducing Boo...

* 14hh
* Part bred Welsh
* Gelding
* 16 years young

Boo is a all rounder with true presence, a beautiful stamp of a pony.

Don’t let his age put you off, he has plenty of years left in him and still so much to offer.

He has done a bit of everything from pony club, show jumping, dressage you name it he has been there and got the t-shirt.

A easy pony to have around, but does thrive from routine. Good to load, clip, farrier, bath and plait.

He is honest, willing and enjoys his job. He is happy to hack alone or in company good in open spaces, and is “bomb proof” we haven’t found anything he isnt up for. Making him an enjoyable ride for the right person.

He isn’t a novice pony does like to do the odd buck so would suit and knowledgeable home, he is a small adult or confident teenager ride.

Up to date with everything.

Boo is currently in full work ready to go have fun and has is new partner in crime!

We have plenty of videos at request.

  • Perfect child’s pony
  • Quiet in all ways

It breaks our hearts, but our daughter has gone onto a new pony

She's a stunning 10-year-old piebald cob 11.2 hh with a temperament to die for. She's an absolute dream on the ground – good to groom, catch, and load. She picks up all four feet without a fuss and is fantastic for the farrier and vet. She'll stand for hours being groomed and loves the attention! She is up to date with her vaccinations, farrier and dentist

Under saddle, she's equally wonderful. Safe and sensible, she's perfect for a child. She'll happily lead or be ridden alone, pops over little jumps, and has even done a dressage test which she came 1st with 71.92%. Hacking is a joy, whether alone or in company, and she's confident going first or last. She's experienced beach rides and is unphased by anything. She has no vices what so ever.

She's bombproof and doesn’t spook at anything. She is used to traffic noise, diggers, tractors and quads. She's versatile in her living arrangements too – happy stabled or in the field, alone or with others. She's been turned out with horses ranging from tiny Falabellas to 16.2hh horses, so she's not fazed by different sizes.

We've had up to 7 children around her at once, grooming her, and even 3 year-old twins brush her alone and with my daughter. She truly doesn't put a foot wrong. She even won 1st place at the Pycombe Children in Need show! Vets are welcome to come and vet her. Every show she has been too she has always come home with rosettes she even won a rosettes trophy and medal

Her wardrobe (GFS Monarch pony saddle and bridle) is available separately.

This pony is a gem and will bring so much joy to the right child. Don't miss out on the opportunity to give her a loving home.

Been there, done it and got the T-Shirt. Barney has done low level Dressage, competed in showjumping up to 70cm, cross country, beach rides, pony club games, mounted games, hunted at the front of the field and back.

Barney will put his all into everything with the right rider. Barney is better suited to a more confident, knowledgeable child / small teen / petite adult.

Barney is impeccably well behaved to hack alone or in company: fantastic on the roads and with heavy traffic, cars, bikes, bicycles, Lorrie’s, farm machinery etc. Not the spooky type either. Can be a little more forward going in open areas, and a little stronger but nothing dangerous and certainly something that can be managed by the correct rider. He doesn’t bolt he just takes a minute to come back down paces, He doesn’t pull any silly moves! Although he’s a bit speedier in open fields he still can walk around on the buckle.

Barney is a bit cheekier in the school but will work better with a confident, knowledgable jockey, struggles to get left canter sometimes. He’s not a world beater when it comes to jumping, he does what he needs to. He can have a refusal in the school, hence not a novice ride.

On the ground Barney can be nippy (not at all nasty just a habit) he can also be strong to handle but in capable hands this is very easy to maintain. However these 2 vices I have been working on and with consistent boundaries I don’t see him keeping this attitude up.

Barney is great for the farrier (always been barefoot and has great feet) great with the vet and easy to load and travels like a saint. Good to clip. Easy to tack up and loves a groom. He is the type you can leave for weeks on end and pick back up where you left off.

Microchipped and passported.

Barney is with me for the soul purpose of sale, he was in his previous home for 11 years where he was loved dearly, their reason for sale was no fault of his own, the lady had 2 other horses and not enough time to keep Barney in work, and Barney just isn’t ready for retirement yet - he’s got plenty more to give! Anyone interested will be given this lady’s number so you can talk with her in regards to more information/queries on Barney.

A bonus is that Barney comes with his full wardrobe: saddle and bridle. Snaffle mouthed always.

Looking for a fantastic 5 star home for this boy who will happily give his old owners updates every now and then.

Unfortunately I don’t have a school on site, but right next door we have level tracks through the woodland and plenty of logs that can be jumped. Also more than welcome to take him on a hack down the roads.

Plenty of videos and photos on request.

Smart and eye-catching 12.2hh chestnut Welsh Section B gelding, 7 years old. Owned since a foal and produced slowly and correctly.
He has been out to a variety of activities including Pony Club rallies, show jumping, arena hires, and local shows, giving him a lovely, well-rounded start. Still green due to his age and education, so would benefit from a knowledgeable and experienced home to continue his development.
He can get a little excited in busy, new environments, but he is never naughty or dangerous—just a bit fidgety and keen.
This is a very reluctant sale as he has been part of the family since a foal, however lack of time means he is not getting the consistent work he needs, and another winter off would not suit him.
A genuine pony looking for a kind, capable home to bring out his full potential.

Crannagh Boy (“Bobby”) – 14.2hh, 10 year old full Connemara gelding.

Bobby is a handsome, much loved pony who has been part of our family for nearly five years, taking his rider from age 13 to 17. He is now very sadly outgrown.

A genuine allrounder who enjoys a varied life, though Bobby particularly loves his jumping!

Over the past five years he has taken part in a wide range of activities including:

-Unaffiliated showjumping
-ODEs and dressage
-Beach and forest rides
-Regular clinics and arena hires

More recently, he has been based on a showjumping yard where he has focused on his jumping and loves it, very careful and rarely has a pole.

He would suit someone wanting to progress in BS (has no BS points), enjoy riding club activities, or even turn their hand to showing or hunting.

Bobby is easy to have around and well mannered on the ground:
- Good to shoe, clip, and load (lorry or trailer)
-Hacks alone or in company
- Sensible in traffic and around dogs

On the flat, Bobby can be a little tricky at times and benefits from a confident, consistent rider to get the best from him. For this reason, he would suit a competent teenager or small adult rather than a novice home.

He is a fun, kind pony with plenty to give, especially for someone who enjoys jumping and wants a genuine allround partner.

Sold with full tack and rugs.

- Based at our Burford centre -

Memphis is a handsome 5-year-old gelding seeking a knowledgeable home where he can thrive and enjoy the company of other playful geldings.

As Memphis was castrated later in life, having the right environment is key to his success. With the appropriate yard set-up, he can happily live within a gelding herd and, in time, be around mares in a yard environment. He is currently turned out with a herd of geldings. He would suit a secure, well-fenced environment where he can feel settled, confident, and at ease.

Memphis is easy to catch, enjoys being groomed, and stands politely for his feet to be picked out. He has been well-mannered for both the vet and farrier, making him straightforward and pleasant to handle as part of daily routine care.

With consistent, sympathetic handling, Memphis is ready to restart his backing and ridden education. He has lovely potential as a future ridden project and could also make a super lead rein prospect. Lightly backed last summer and currently enjoying some time off, he is a fantastic blank canvas for someone who would enjoy producing a young horse and building a rewarding partnership from the ground up.

In a calm, experienced home, Memphis will truly flourish as his confidence continues to grow.

Please adopt Memphis

Toby (aka Tobleroney Pony) has been with us the last 4 years and has now been sadly outgrown. Although we would love to keep him forever he is too good to be wasted as a field ornament. He needs a new best friend to love and have lots of fun with.

Toby is always happy and willing. He has done pc mounted games, rallies, jumping, showing on and off the lead rein including fancy dress - a little bit of everything.

Great to hack and great in open spaces. Not nappy at all, loves nothing more than having a good canter up on the Downs, and happy in his own company. Will go first or last out hacking and doesn’t mind if others want to canter off, he will happily hang out at the back with the humans!

He does require some leg to get him going in the school and it’s fair to say it probably isn’t his favourite thing so he would enjoy a varied life. He will happily trot or canter over a course up to 50cm and is nice and steady to and after the jump, Perfect for lead reins or those just coming off.

Loads first time every time and travels impeccably, an absolute pleasure to take out and about super easy and takes it all in his stride.
Has been known to throw a little buck on rare occasions.

I’ve been putting off selling him because we love him dearly and he has never been a days trouble, he is such an easy pony to keep. Can live in or out. He is a good doer and we restrict his grazing during the summer months. He is barefoot and happy in Scoot boots in front if needed on very rough terrain. No vices and never had Sweet Itch or lami.

He is so kind and gentle, he has perfect ground manners and is an angel around all children even the smallest of tiny tots can lead, groom, bath, load and do anything with him.

We will all be extremely sad to see him go and would love to keep in touch with his new family.

Please message not call in first instance.

Poppy Popstar is sadly for sale to an approved home only! 12.2hh BRP Chestnut Dun Mare. We have owned Poppy for 4 years and what a fabulous 4 years it has been (prior to us she had 2 homes including her breeder and was broken late at 8).

She has been an utterly amazing pony for my older daughter and son - attending junior pony club camp twice with my daughter and twice with my son. We are not a competition home and she has had a varied life from hacking, fun rides, XC, SJing and the occasional gymkhana games. Her most notable win was a lovely clear XC round (70cm) winning a tet for my son a few years back when he was into tet. She has countless clear rounds in both SJing and XC. In her previous home she dabbled in games, happy with all equipment and a vault. Hacks alone and in company but if in company prefers in front.

Over the years they have had great fun together. Poppy never stops at a jump or looks at fillers with a confident rider aboard. However whilst she is a fabulous jumper 60-80 she is speedy at SJing and can be strong. She is more suited to a confident 8/9 year old as a second pony - both children rode her from age 8.

Reason for sale is that my younger daughter cannot cope with her speed and is not particularly a fan of jumping but we absolutely want to keep in touch and follow her journey!!!

No vet issues in the 4 years we have owned her. She has never been vetted but obviously open to vet and PC references. Lives out all year and 24/7 turnout home preferred.

She has never bucked, reared or bolted. However, she can be marish and throw a kick in the field when caught. My children do everything with her but for this reason I would advise an adult catch her until a child is used to her and able to read her.

Barefoot and up to date with everything.

Rosie: sensible, gentle, experienced ponyclub dream

  • Competitive, quiet, very brave
£8,500
  • Connemara
  • Dapple grey
  • Mare
  • 4 years
  • 14.1 hands
  • Competitive, quiet, very brave

Rosie is a 14.1h, 4yo dapple grey purebred Connemara mare with a forgiving, quiet temperament

She has been comfortably competing in 80cm classes at showjumping competitions and is consistently honest and unphased by new places, filler, combinations, etc. She is extremely forgiving to a bad distance and will always jump; she is even clever enough to sort a bad distance for herself and her rider!

She knows her leads and will make auto changes during a course. She never gets hot, strong or sharp. She has a very soft mouth, and only goes in a loose ring snaffle

She is very easy to ride in the contact, although she is quiet, not spooky or fast, and does not require it to focus.

Rosie enjoys cross country schooling and is equally brave to natural obstacles and water. She does not get excited or fresh outside of the arena.

Rosie is excellent around machinery, traffic and cows, and has experience hacking alone and in groups.

She is not lazy or particularly forward going, she is very easy to keep at one rhythm as she is hard-working, and happy to stay right under the leg.

Due to her intelligent, quiet nature and rideability, we think Rosie will be an ideal partner for ponyclub, or for a child to compete and grow with. She is consistent and calm in her work ethic, and would best suit a child who is comfortably cantering small x-rails to grow with, with the help of an instructor.

She is gentle and sweet for anyone to handle; quiet to shoe, load, tie, catch, bathe, etc. She has no vices, no mareish behaviour, and no lumps or bumps of any kind.

Rosie is open to any vetting
