Lead Rein Welsh sec A

  • Done showing and pony club
£3,995 ONO
  • Welsh Section A
  • Bay
  • Mare
  • 9 years
  • 10.3hh / 110cm
  • Great Lead rein pony
  • Done showing and pony club

Lovely little lead rein pony, she has done showing, dressage, jumping and just finished pony club mini camp. Has been ridden off the lead rein by bigger children and is a super 2nd pony, ideal for a confident child to go out and have fun on.

Over a fence she is very sweet and does a small jump so as not to unseat her little jockey.

Mounted games she is very good and actually really quick, I could imagine she would be a fab games pony for an older child.

She is sensible and tolerant with fancy dress costumes.

Happy with her little rider doing round the worlds, climbing up and down, backwards riding etc.

we have not tapped into her full potential showing, she has lovely movement and excellent confirmation. She is registered Welsh pony and has great bloodlines, definitely has potential to go far in the show ring.

Very easy to keep, lives in or out, barefoot and good with farrier. Good to catch, bath and load.

* Sporty cob

* Owned him 5 years. Full history known.

* He is a blagdon black roan with a heart on his knee.

Rolo loves hacking, fun rides and hunting. He does not like to go in an arena as a working pony but would happily go in an arena on a lead rein.

Rolo hunted last season and was amazing. He would love this as his main job. He enjoys fun rides, group hacks etc. He has had lots of inexperienced riders on him and is happy to take them for a ride.

Rolo lives out with us but has been in during the winter in the past. He has amazing feet, no shoes. Up to date with PVT, physio, dentist etc. He is fit and ready to start his next chapter.

Rolo is full of character, always greets you with a heart melting welcome. He is very special to us and will only go to the very best home.

Sadly for sale through no fault of his own 14.2hh NF Backly Dreamcatcher (Forest) 5yo Gelding. I’ve owned Forest for a year to produce on.

He’s a fantastic pony club pony and a HOYS contender in the future. He’s been to a number of shows with me where judges have commented on his confirmation and in time being a HOYS contender both ridden and WH.

He loves XC and SJ plus hacking too. I hack him on his own and in a group across the South Downs. He is snaffled mouthed at all times. For XC and SJ he does wear a Grackle.

He has taken part in sponsored rides and pony club rallies where he is a favourite. He was used as a demo pony at Hartpury on the treadmills, ridden and in hand.

He’s fully up to date with his teeth and vaccinations. Was shod last week. He was turned away at Christmas until June as he did a growth spurt. He loads and travels perfectly, is excellent to worm, catch and clip although not a fan near his ears when clipping.

His only fault is he does have sweat itch but this is treated with the vaccination for sweat itch, global herbs scratch plus and piriton tablets. He’s currently out with no fly rugs and has been all year.

This is a really sad sale and not one I’ve taken lightly. Please PM or call me on 07860 962542

Banjo 🪕 The ultimate babysitter for a nervous or novice rider, completely safe in any situation

Banjo is a 14.2h 5yo smashing tricolour Irish cob gelding. He is a big-bodied weight carrier and easily able to carry adults

Banjo is not phased by anything. He has been ridden bareback, sidesaddle, western, backwards, and carried a flag without hassle. He has been ridden by our working students, and led wild horses down the road without ever getting nervous

Banjo can jump 60cm courses and small cross country jumps. He has three slow, steady gaits in the arena and always goes in a snaffle. We do consider Banjo a ‘kick ride’ and certainly more woah than go.

He would best suit someone looking for a very steady happy hacker. He is okay to hack out alone or in groups, around cows, tractors, machinery, and groups of horses.

Banjo is easy to handle for anyone. Friendly and gentle to shoe, catch, load, tie, plait, wash, etc. He has no vices, lumps or bumps, can live in or out without getting fresh.

Ranger 🍀A perfect pony for hacking, adventures, group lessons, all while taking care of his rider🍀

Ranger is a 14.2h 4yo piebald Irish cob gelding with an old head on young shoulders. He is extremely quiet in all situations, ideal for hacking alone or in groups.

He is broken to ride western and English style!

Ranger is completely sensible no matter the ability of his rider. He has been ridden by our working students, and all of our girls. He is fit to carry an adult.

He is very mellow to ride in groups, even in open spaces. He is quiet around traffic, cows, tractors, machinery, and in new places.

We think Ranger would best suit a family with many kids who ride, or a riding school looking for a quiet, patient pony.

Ranger will jump x-rails and small cross country jumps. He shines best out hacking and in open fields, where you can trust him to not get excited. He would be a safe choice for a child to go hunting with as he is brave and steady for cross country.

Ranger is a push ride, and definitely ‘more woah than go.’ He always goes in a snaffle.

He can live in or out without getting fresh. He is easy for a novice to catch, shoe, plait, load, tie, etc. He has no vices, lumps or bumps.

Beautiful Traditional Cob Rosie

A beautiful example of a traditional cob with full mane, tail and feathers. She moves too! Most of what we have done with Rosie to date is hacking to get her confidence and to enjoy her work. We felt the school made her a little tense and due to her age and stage in education she was struggling to balance herself (as we all know the cobs do find tight corners tricky!) however she is very safe and forward going and even if she gets tense you’ve always got breaks. She’s not the type to ever buck, rear or bolt just occasionally needs to pause have some reassurance then go again. Marches through the village unfazed by all the tractors, buses and school traffic that passes through. However given her age she is not suitable for a total novice.

I am advertising now at the stage she is however will continue to take her on outings. This weekend I will be taking her to do a traditional cob class for some experience. We will also be attending hound exercise and fun rides.

With some time I feel she would excel in a few different types of homes. Someone who enjoys showing traditionals or even someone who just wants a beautiful, leg in each corner cob to take to the pub and down the beach. Whatever job she goes to do she’s ready for someone to make their own.

She pops a fence and can make a nice shape too.

All viewings and vettings welcome.

11yr old black Welsh Section A, Gelding, 11.2hh

Bobby is an absolute superstar tiny tots Lead Rein pony. He will carry the smallest of jockeys safely around the biggest of atmosphere's. Doesn't mind a little one wobbling around on his back.

Qualifies for M&M LR NPS Scotland finals every year, (also qualified as a FR in 2025)

Was also 3rd out of 50 in the M&M LR final at stars 2024.

Bobby was bought to introduce our family into showing county level - too many wins and championships to mention - and he has done just that. Taking both my daughters from when they were 3yrs old and teaching them up downs. He has been ridden off the lead in First Ridden but needs longer legs to keep him going.

Bobby loves a varied life and we have successfully competed him in SJ, XC, WH and hunting. Will happily lead from another horse.

All Vaccs, worming, farrier up to date, Happily travels in a lorry or a trailer.

This is a very sad sale of a much loved pony, but my daughter has moved on to a Show Pony and we would love for him to go and do the same for another family that he has done for us.

Please no time wasters.

Arna has great confirmation and movement, she has the most fantastic temperament both when ridden and when on the floor.

She has been to arena hires, Xc schooled and is brilliant on the roads and in open fields and has taken everything asked of her in her stride.

She is obviously still green and still at the beginning of her education but we feel she is ready to find her forever home.

Super Smart Connemara Gelding

Ref #: 415487

  • A real genuine type
£7,500 ONO
  • Connemara
  • Grey
  • Gelding
  • 5 years
  • 14.2hh / 148cm
  • Very willing attitude
  • Excellent manners
  • A real genuine type

Champ is an absolute gent on the ground, children can lead him, he’s good with the farrier, never kicked, bitten or even pulled a face. He’s the sweetest soul! Good to load, not had him in a wagon but can’t see why he wouldn’t! Currently barefoot and thriving. Approx 14.2 although not had a stick on him and he is still bum high.

I don’t have a school at home therefore we have mainly hacked out since he was backed in summer 2025. He’s great with traffic, loves water, stands for gates, will canter nicely down the beach, happy to take the lead with a nervous horse and loves a good pub stop! He’ll even plod home without his bridle on.

In the school he is wobbly but willing, I’m sure with the correct facilities he will come on heaps very quickly. We’ve been XC schooling a couple of times before the ground got too hard. He was in his element, with some encouragement we were popping over ditches and steps as well as proving keen over the regular fences. We haven’t managed to get out showjumping but he’s seen the odd coloured pole at arena hires and isn’t fazed in the slightest. We have competed in one low level dressage event, he was a legend and wasn’t even fazed in the busy warm up ring or the scary indoor.

Sadly I don’t have many people to ride out with regularly so he still finds cantering in a group, in open space, super exciting! He can hold it together until asked for the canter, I find he’s totally manageable if you keep his head up and ride him forward but being honest, I think with a complete novice he would soon learn how to bust some moves! (This is the only time he has ever been remotely spicy, he just needs exposing to it more).

Champ would benefit from someone who can continue his education. Due to his age he is not a novice ride and would be best suited to a competent amateur looking to produce a fun RC type.

I am in no rush to sell as this is an extremely difficult decision, 5* home is paramount for my lovely boy!

Please contact via WhatsApp or text Chloe on 07807916781 to arrange a phone call.

Lots of vids available of all our adventures!

Up to date with vaccinations and teeth.

£7500 ono (tack available for an extra cost).

Meet Stitch, a sweet-natured cob who is looking for a kind, experienced home where he can continue to grow in confidence and enjoy life as a companion pony. Having come into our care from a private owner, Stitch is now settling into a new routine and currently lives out happily 24/7 with other geldings, where he enjoys the reassurance of herd life.

Stitch is a gentle pony who enjoys building connections with people and thrives with calm, patient handling. While he can initially feel unsure in unfamiliar situations, he is making lovely progress and is becoming more confident with everyday interaction and handling. Once he feels comfortable, Stitch shows a kind and affectionate side and enjoys spending time with those he trusts.

He is continuing to build confidence with new experiences, including routine care such as vet and farrier visits, and responds well to positive reinforcement and steady guidance. Stitch benefits from consistency, reassurance, and handlers who are happy to work at his pace and celebrate the small wins along the way.

Stitch would thrive in a quiet, understanding home with experienced and confident carers who can offer him a relaxed, routine-based lifestyle with plenty of turnout and equine companionship. Teddy is a very smart 11 year old gelding, with a super character and brain.

Measures 12.2hh at home with front shoes on, so should measure in under the new system.

He is established at 70/80 BS, however, has competed in 90cm classes and jumped 1m at home.

He is forward going and can be strong but is never nasty, just enthusiastic. Handled by children, loves being groomed and fussed over. Can be headstrong on the ground at times, so needs an experienced home with competent adults.

Hacks alone or in company and leads off of another horse.

He has attended many stay aways and pony club camp.

Achievements are as followed:

- Qualified for stepping stones nationals 2025

- Qualified for cats & pipes Scope 2025

- Has arena evented and xc schooled

He would suit a confident, established rider, who wants a fun, forward ride. He is lovely and forgiving but would not suit a novice.

Hi, I’m Koby, a handsome 14hh gelding with a chunky build, a cheeky personality, and lots of love to give.

I’ve been with my current owner for the past 6 years, so this is a very sad sale and will only be to the very best home. My owner has made the difficult decision to move on and is looking for someone special to become my new best friend.

I’ve had lots of fun over the years, including cross-country, show jumping, beach rides, and plenty of adventures. I love getting out and about and enjoy having a job to do.

I’m a kind, affectionate boy, but I can be a little nappy at times, so I’m looking for a confident, kind and patient rider who will understand me and help me continue to thrive. In return, I’ll be a loyal partner and a wonderful friend.

Finding the right home is far more important than a quick sale. If you think you could offer me the loving forever home I deserve, we’d love to hear from you. Message for more information

Jasmine (Jazz) - 9-year-old (March birthday) Connemara mare, an absolute joy with a real passion for jumping. Currently competing confidently at 80cm and schooling 90cm/1m at home with plenty more to give. She would be perfect for someone who has a passion to showjump or event.

A brilliant all-rounder - she loves her cross country and has been out to Prelim level in dressage, showing real scope and versatility. With her jump, brains, and enthusiasm for XC, she’d make a brilliant eventer for the right rider. Experienced at various unaffiliated shows in Showjumping and Dressage and including Sunshine Tour.

Genuinely lovely to have around - easy on the ground, good to load, travel, clip, and stands well for farrier and dentist. She’s as happy with a cuddle as she is over a fence.

Sadly for sale as my daughter has decided jumping isn’t for her anymore - this mare’s heart is in it and she deserves a rider who wants to take her further.

A real opportunity to buy a genuine, do-it-all pony with the scope and mindset to event

  • Absolute stunner- a real eye catcher.
  • Good to load , shoe , clip - has been a pony club horse from the age of five

Dream ( Kildromin Dream) has been my granddaughters pony club ride from a five year old until now - she reached her 12th year in June - born 2014.

She is fast - can turn on a sixpence and is great out hunting / team chase and polocrosse - she was a real winner show jumping and has a good BSJ record - however she started not to enjoy jumping about four years ago,so we bought our granddaughter another horse for showjumping and Dream hasn’t been ridden as much since then - she has still hunted in the season and competed polocrosse regularly even getting a podium place at pony club championships in 2024 !

She’s always been exercised regularly in our arena at home -( she’s always been shod on all four ) and we are told by experts recently that she shows real potential as a dressage horse - but that she isn’t a horse you can just pull from the field and expect rosettes - the regular effort and dedication has to come from her rider too. We feel she would be ideally suited to a low level dressage / happy hacker at the moment.

She can be a little spooky but nothing dangerous… she does take confidence from her rider and is sensitive and a goer but nothing dangerous or sharp.

Although she’s always been a kids horse and has done a marvellous job - I do feel she’s not really a totally novice ride and also she measured in at 149.5 officially and is probably close to 15hh now - so a horse not a pony as categories go - therefore our aim is for her to go to a petite adult rider with experience- and who can offer a five star forever home for this much loved mare.

She is never sick or sorry and is open to any vetting - she is up to date with worming / injections / teeth etc
