  • Pretty registered Welsh A with flaxen mane and tail
  • Used to kids and carnage, happy to be dressed up and fussed over
  • SUNSHINE TOUR QUALIFIER - Great to hack, jump, games, x-country, fancy dress, handy pony etc!

Our lead rein queen has done her job and my daughter is now ready to move on. My daughter has gone from being wobbly jelly, to a beautiful rising trot, first canters, and winning show jumping rounds, all on the lead. They won the winter showjumping league in May in both x-poles and 40cm. She’s also got 4x qualifications for sunshine tour at Hickstead which is my daughters dream, however, the new pony has fallen into our hands and we can’t keep two, as much as we’d love to!

She is an 11.3 (LHC) REGISTERED Welsh A chestnut mare with flaxen mane and tail. The pretty type you could show if you were a showing family- we are more into handy pony and jumping.

There are not many ponies you can take in the garden/house and on the school run with around 70 school kids surrounding and grabbing at them, she really is the most chilled lead rein pony.

She’s the type that can be bathed and plaited by kids, cartwheeled around, dressed up with sheets over her head to be a ghost(!) at halloween, tinsel at Christmas, all the non-horsey school friends coming for rides after school and have non-horsey dads tack her up!

She is not being sold as a first ridden as has not been used as this, she’s been our lead rein queen. I imagine older competent siblings or petite parents could school her and get her to this stage, but that’s not for us.

Great to load, clip, trim(barefoot), happy to stand on box all day, chilled at shows, up to date with teeth and vaccs etc. Fit and ready to go after a successful camp!

Tonnes of videos and pictures. Serious enquiries only as I will have a heartbroken little girl during this process. 07827441311.

UPDATE: If our girlie goes before our holiday (last week of Aug) I will minus the holiday cover fees as that’s only fair. Reduced to £4000 to go before holiday.

⭐Super Sally has been a true pleasure to own and certainly lives up to her name. We can't fault this pony and she will only go to a 5⭐ home. She is a Dilton bred warmblood x New Forest pony and has been a dream to own.

Sally is a genuine all rounder, her achievements include:

☑️Qualified and competed in the sunshine tour finishing in the top 10

☑️Regularly show jumped up to 90/1m comfortably

☑️Has BSJ points on record

☑️Has hunted successfully for a full season and loves it, never refused a hedge or fence.

☑️She loves cross country, is good with water and ditches.

☑️She has evented and done arena eventing.

☑️She was a very good pony club pony and throughout her time at pony club she was on the pony club show jumping team, barrel raced, and has done limited mounted games. She has been to multiple pc rallies, fundays and events and never failed to impress.

☑️Sally will perform a dressage test up to a high standard.

⭐Sally always behaved well at shows and will really look after her jockey and with kindness will jump the moon. She's always in the rosettes and we know we're guaranteed an enjoyable day when we take her out whichever discipline we're competing in.

⭐She has no malice towards owners but is a typical mare and enjoys her own space in turnout and yard although during a hunt, warm up ring etc she is brilliant, well behaved and very tolerant.

Sally is also good to:

⭐Catch

⭐Shoe

⭐Clip

⭐Travel

⭐Groom

⭐Wash

⭐Fly spray

She is happy to hack alone or in company. She thrives off routine and has been a dream pony to own. This is a reluctant sale but unfortunately I've grown too tall for her. Serious enquiries only

Lilly

Cracking All-Rounder / Happy Hacker / Pony Club / Competitions / Family Friend

Lilly is a kind, calm, safe, and steady Cob. She is a fantastic all-rounder, suited to a wide range of riders—whether you’re looking for a confidence-giver, a happy hacker, or a horse to enjoy fun rides, beach outings, and low-level competitions.

She has a gentle, easy-going personality, low maintenance. She will stand quietly at the mounting block without being held, waits patiently in her stable even with the door open, and is never pushy or strong. Lilly is ideal for solo riders, competent novice, or someone wanting a calm and reliable ride.

Lilly has three balanced paces and rides beautifully on the flat. She is calm and relaxed but responsive to the leg if asked – very sensible and never spooky, silly, sharp or strong.

Lilly has spent the last 12 months in a professional riding school setting where she has been ridden by all levels of children and adults, from complete beginners on the lead rein, competent novice off the lead rein, holding the handle on the saddle if required in trot and canter and advanced level riders, she will happily jump a course of small coloured and rustic fences, she always helps out her riders out if you come in on a bad stride, she is perfect for building up your confidence if you are inexperienced, nervous or need a horse to teach you the ropes, she participates in our in-house fun rides, jumping, cross country and low level dressage competitions.

She works in a lovely outline with three naturally balanced paces, she is schooled well on the flat, including lateral work and basic dressage movements. She has a bold, confident jump and would easily progress to a higher level with a competent rider. Lilly has the perfect balance of “go” when asked, but is equally happy to relax on a loose rein for a calm more whoa kind of ride. We are a very busy establishment with a lot go on, she takes everything in her stride working independently and within large group lessons, she is responsive to the leg when asked whilst remaining super sensible and calm.

She hacks out alone or in company. She is 100% safe in open spaces, does not rush home, pull or get strong, even after a canter or gallop, she will come straight back to walk on a loose rein. She is extremely confident in traffic, riding boldly and completely unfazed by extremely busy fast moving traffic including double decker buses, articulated lorries, motorcycles, push bikes, prams, dogs, large farm machinery, she is not clingy with other horses, and will ride away from the herd without a second thought.

Lilly is excellent with the farrier (currently barefoot) equally happy to be shod, great to load, travel, dentist and has no vices in the stable or field. She is happy to live in or out and is equally settled in a herd or on her own. She is currently turned out at night and stabled during the day when in work, she is happy turned out full time. Currently working 4 days a week.

She doesn’t need riding every day and can be left for weeks or months without changing – no lunging needed, just tack up and go.

She has never had laminitis, sweet itch, sarcoids, or any lumps or bumps, not marish or clingy, no vices, she passes our annual licence inspection, which is equivalent to a Stage 2 vetting.

Only for sale as we regularly rotate our horses giving them the chance to enjoy one-to-one attention in a private home. They undertake a lot of arena work within the riding school setting which can become repetitive and mentally uninteresting over time.

We are looking for a forever loving home where she can continue to thrive.

Being sold on behalf of a working livery.

We are also reducing stock so we have a few other horses and ponies also available.

If you are genuinely interested, please CALL or MESSAGE on WhatsApp.

Champagne Endeavour 🥂

Hammy is an incredibly versatile pony who I have enjoyed riding alongside studying the past 6 years. He has always been my side project pony who has been steadily produced and enjoyed over the years of owning him. The last couple years especially, I have had the pleasure of taking this pony everywhere by myself with no stress as he is super easy to do in all ways. From working hunters, to showjumping and fun rides I really have had the best time having him as a pleasure ride. This pony can do it all, from living out 24/7 in the winter to being brought back into work for the summer shows when I am home from education. He has done a bit of everything and would be suitable for competition/pony club home:

-showjumping

-working hunter

-flat and in hand showing

-fun rides

-happy hack

-cross country

-good to clip, shoe, load etc.

Superb jump and would have the scope to jump plaited workers with suitable age jockey. Has previously been turned out plaited to jump affiliated training stakes and it suits him well due to not being a registered Welsh C. Locally and low level county show he is turned out as an m&m but due to my age I cannot take him into affiliated plaited classes which is another aspect he could really excel.

Very sad sale of a pony (due to work commitments) who’s brought me pure joy over the past few years. Especially being away at university and could always come home and jump on Hammy and him still be the same as if he was ridden everyday. He’s looking for a new best friend, someone to love him as much as I do. He has also been ridden by children and would make a good mother daughter share, 2nd pony for children, or an enjoyable fun ride for teenager/small adults.

*WILL BE AVAILABLE TO VIEW AT BURWARTON SHOW*

14.1hh | 17 years young | Grey Dutch Sports Pony Mare

5⭐ home is the absolute priority.

Nell is a beautiful, genuine mare who has previously been a successful show jumper and busy Pony Club pony. She is now looking for a her next job, a step down to lower level activities - she is looking for a varied life, and home where she can continue to be spoilt and loved.

She loves hacking alone or in company, low-level dressage, pole work, clinics and small SJ courses (up to 70cm). She's excellent in traffic, including farm machinery, and enjoys getting out and about. She will jump small XC fences and will go through water. She is safe in open spaces and we've done plenty of fun rides/ beach rides etc.

Nell is a versatile pony and can suit a variety of riders - she will adapt to their capability, never gets silly or strong, but with a more competent rider can 'switch on' and be more forward. She is safe enough for novice riders and has the ability to teach them more. She will happily trot a child around a 50cm course, never 'over-jumps', or canter round up to 70cm and have a crack at some jump off turns for someone a bit more competitive. She would be happy with a petite adult (max 65kg) for low level RC activities, hack, pole clinics etc - or even a mother/ child share for everyone to have a bit of fun!

She is good to catch, clip, load, travel, shoe/farrier, dentist and physio. Vaccinations and worming are up to date and she is barefoot all round.

Nell thrives on variety and doesn't enjoy daily schooling. She is no different after time off.

She requires access to a stable and is NOT suited to living out 24/7 - she has previously been out with others, but would be better with a small herd of quiet horses, or individual turnout with friends over the fence. She can take some time to learn to settle in a new field - new owners must be prepared to be patient with her - we currently have her on individual turnout, out at night and in during the day, and the opposite in winter. She is the MOST relaxed pony in the stable - doesn't mind even being in on her own - we've done PC camps, holidays, stay away shows and she will be lying down within the first couple of hours!

Health Information: Nell recently passed a 2-stage vetting for a low level PC home, however, it was noted she has the very early stages of cataracts. These are fair for her age, and she has absolutely no adverse reflexes to them. She has had her hocks medicated in the past, and depending on the level of work (particularly jumping) she may need these re-doing in the future. She has a melanoma under her tail which we've been advised purely to monitor. Nell is a 17yr old Grey pony - medical history is reflective of this. She has been well managed and still has plenty to offer to her next person.

This is a heart-breaking sale as she has been outgrown. We've owned Nell for nearly 3 years, taking my daughter from a novice 10 year old to a competent and competitive teen. We are still in touch with her old owners, and would love to stay in touch with her future family. Finding the right long-term home is far more important than a quick sale.

Quality tack and rugs, worth nearly £1000 included (saddles available by separate negotiation). Plenty of photos and videos available.

No loans. No time wasters. No Dealers. Serious enquiries only - please read all information on the advert. If you're not happy with the medical information please do not call.

Peggy Sue is a 5-year-old, 11.2hh Welsh Section B mare who has been ridden by a 2-year-old jockey and has been absolutely perfect on the lead rein. She is also happy to ride off the lead rein and is ridden by older children as well. She is always honest and willing, and although she is still only 5, she just wants to further her education a little more with her schooling.

She will happily pop around a course of small fences and enjoys having a job to do. Peggy Sue has also been to unaffiliated shows and takes everything in her stride. • Wonderful family pony

The sweetest pony that has been very sadly outgrown.

This is a heartbreaking sale but due to Amy’s love of work it wouldn’t be fair to keep her as a field ornament.

My daughter has been out to many many dressage competitions and Amy has given her so much confidence they were placed everytime they went out.

Amy has been to the BD quest nationals with her previous owners and us, she also won the Junior Intro championship at the trailblazers. Amy has competed at Hickstead for the national NSEA championship and placed second.

Amy is a really good girl to take to shows and has been to the big show grounds and is not fazed which is great for young riders.

My daughter regularly hacks her and has attended dressage and pole clinics.

Amy is low maintenance can be barefoot but currently has front shoes. Loves to be bathed and made a fuss of.

Always a good girl for the vet, farrier and dentist. Super to load and travel. Easy to clip she takes it all In her stride.

We are looking for a 5 star home for this much loved special pony.

  • Actively looking for the best Pony Club ponies
  • Some fabulous knowledgeable homes waiting
  • No fees for sellers

I have motivated clients looking for genuine, kind, quality and proven ponies to take part in all Pony Club activities.

The ponies I would love to hear about are those not needing to be advertised to secure a new home. There is no harm in finding out whether I know of a better home and match. Perhaps you worry about your child finding it upsetting seeing their old pony regularly at rallies etc - then selling out of area could be a better solution.

These are motivated buyers receiving guidance as to what will likely suit their child - not the timewasters regularly reported. In most cases homes are also knowledgeable: simply lacking in time to conduct a search themselves. Most will also wait for the right pony so if you are not ready to sell yet - that is not an issue.

There are some decent budgets available relative to age and medical conditions etc.

All leads will be handled with discretion. Please feel free to give me a call, drop me a WhatsApp or check out my Instagram page @theponysearchagent

  • Loving, Knowledgeable Family Home For The Right Horse - Happy To Keep In Touch

I am searching for a trustworthy, best friend type to welcome to our kind, knowledgeable, family home. Our horses are treated as part of our family & they receive the absolute best of care. I would be happy to provide references & to keep in touch.

I have ridden for several years & consider myself a knowledgeable & capable rider. However, due to ongoing health issues with my horse, who is now retired, I haven’t ridden as consistently in more recent years & so I am no longer as confident as I once was. Therefore, I am seeking a laid back, best friend type, who does not need riding most days to remain safe & sane (realistically, I will generally ride 3-4 times a week).

We will be enjoying fun hacks from home, attending organised pleasure rides, forest trips, XC schooling & some clinics. I will at times want to hack alone but will also hack alongside my young daughter on her (sometimes quirky!) horse, so it is especially important that I find a level-headed, trustworthy type who I can depend on. Due to us going out in our horsebox regularly, I would like to find a horse who is good to load / travel &, most importantly, who remains calm & polite to handle & ride in different environments.

Our horses are kept at home with us & have all year turnout (stabled overnight during winter). I would love to find a gentle natured, polite character & a true best friend type.

We live in a rural area & although we generally meet very little traffic, when we do, it is often likely to be a tractor/farm vehicle. Therefore, it is hugely important that my new horse is confident around this type of traffic.

* I do appreciate that no horse is ‘perfect’ & that ‘bombproof’ does not exist & I am open to compromise, but please do just be honest about any possible known ‘issues’ as I will not buy unseen & would want to have any potential horse vetted *

We are based in Norfolk so ideally looking for something in or around East Anglia but would travel further if plenty of info, videos/photos could be provided beforehand. I have a sensible budget & very relaxed & loving forever home for the right horse.

She had a foal in 2025 so did not begin ridden work until rising 5 years.

Flatwork and jumping is showing great potential with masses of scope and ability, she is hacking roads and fields and is good in heavy traffic.

She has been brought on sensibly regarding the firm ground conditions this summer.

Well bred, three generations of her pedigree have Class 1 status.

Now looking for a competent rider to further her education

Ahey Bridge 45th (River)🌟

Beautiful 6-year-old Class 1 Connemara mare, measured at 148cm, with an exceptional temperament and the ability to turn her hoof to absolutely anything.

By Lough Melvin Paddy out of an I Love You Melody mare, River has superb performance breeding, including Cuchullain, Abbeyleix Owen and Temblebready Fear Bui.

✔️ Class 1 Connemara

✔️ Measured 148cm

✔️ N/N hoof wall

✔️ Up to date with vaccinations, worming, teeth and physio

✔️ Brave, willing and exceptionally straightforward

✔️ Never bucks or rears

✔️ Quiet to shoe, box and clip

✔️ Can be left off for weeks and brought back into work without issue

River has been carefully produced since being purchased as a 3-year-old, with her future always in mind. She has never been pushed beyond her limits and has been given plenty of time to mature and develop correctly.

She has a fantastic amount of experience for her age and has competed in Pony Club rallies, showjumping, eventing, dressage and working hunter, as well as having been hunting and taking part in plenty of fun rides. She has also been successfully ridden side saddle, adding to her already impressive versatility.

She is happily jumping 80/90cm courses with plenty of scope to progress further, while equally being happy to take a less experienced rider around smaller fences. She is incredibly versatile and would make a fantastic Pony Club, all-rounder or competition pony.

River has been broken and produced by a small lady rider and has also been ridden by teenagers. She is a genuinely honest mare who is very easy to have around and has been a huge part of the family.

She would also make a fantastic broodmare in the future for someone looking to breed true-to-type performance Connemaras.

This is an incredibly difficult sale as River has been part of the family and has given us so many happy memories. However, with limited space and time, alongside young horses coming in to be broken, it is time for River to find her next home where she can make someone else as happy as she has made us.

Experienced home only as we feel River has not yet reached her full potential and would love to see her continue to progress with her new owners.

COULD YOU BE BUTTONS NEW BEST FRIEND?

Ref #: 404428
  • Loves fuss and cuddles and being pampered
  • Enjoys long rides and having fun
  • PC/RC allrounder or mother/daughter share
£6,500

  • Mare
  • 7 years
  • 14hh / 143cm
  • Loves fuss and cuddles and being pampered
  • Enjoys long rides and having fun
  • PC/RC allrounder or mother/daughter share

Button's is looking for her ideal home. Perhaps as a low level Pony Club or Riding Club allrounder or a fun mother/daughter share.

She works nicely on the flat and happily pops round courses of 70-80cms. She is snaffle mouthed, never strong and doesn’t hot up.

She has been to shows, PC rallies, XC schooling and out with the blood hounds. She could make a nice working hunter pony too.

Buttons hacks alone and in company. She’s not spooky or silly. She is not the type of pony that needs riding everyday and will happily live in or out.

Easy to do on the ground, loves being groomed, fussed, bathed and having a proper pamper (which is a bonus being grey!).

All she wants is to be your best friend.

She’s good to catch, load, travel, and with the farrier. She requires a little sedation for clipping.

She is up to date with vaccinations, teeth and back.

Sad sale on behalf of her owner.
