Exceptionally sad sale due to growing a number of personal reasons. His new home is of the utmost importance.

Stunning 13.2 gelding. His full history and family history known, as we bought him from friends of friends.

He is a wonderful fun hack, not strong and not particularly fast, but he loves to go out and just really enjoys time with his humans and adventures.

He has been good in farm and village traffic and previously hacked on a busy road. He isn't bothered to go alone or with others, and is happy to meet others on the ride and then leave them and head home.

He has been to a great local shows and has done really well showing, loves to jump but we've only done small courses and he's been ridden by novice children to nervous older adults! He feels much bigger to ride than he looks and the ground is surprising close when you go to get off!!! You can do gates etc from him and he really is just awesome fun to hack and enjoy. He's not spooky, loves to jump but doesn't get silly and will work in a beautiful outline with a more able rider. He's very sensible and has always been safe to ride for us but he's not a total plod. He's a handsome young man, and he knows it!

It makes no difference to him if he's ridden every day or once a month!

He's kind and genuine but does have character, so he prefers not to be the last one left stabled if everyone else has gone out for example!! He will just shout a bit and make his displeasure known!!!

He lives with a mixed herd currently and is bottom of the pecking order. He's barefoot but has been shod before, he lives in or out but does like to be out. He's low maintenance, and in the nicest way, cheap to keep!

An unexpected change in job and circumstances means this is a very reluctant and sad sale with his tack and rugs as he's totally wasted and not getting the human love and attention he so deserves. We would really like to keep in touch if possible and find him a like minded rider or family who will love him and enjoy him.

Please no timewasters. Price is negotiable within reason to the right home.

Amber is a charming, willing and versatile pony who would make a fantastic lead rein or second pony for a confident young rider.

In the school, Amber works sweetly in all three paces and will happily pop a fence, both in the arena and out on the cross-country course. She’s a naturally steady ride, but will step up the pace when asked. She’s not strong but can nap with beginner riders off the lead in the school, so as an honest assessment would say she is more suited as a lead rein or a confident riders 2nd Pony.

She is at her best when out hacking. She can be hacked alone or in company and isn’t fazed by traffic.

Amber is excellent to handle and adored by even the smallest of children. She loves fuss, grooming and attention. She is currently barefoot and is exemplary for the farrier, vet and clipping. She can live happily on her own or in a herd, and we stable her in winter and turn out in summer. Great to catch and travels well. She’s easy in all respects.

With her eye-catching markings and lovely paces, she has real potential as a showing pony. We’ve also been advised that she previously did ride and drive, although we haven’t tested this ourselves.

I’m confident with more time, expertise and work she will blossom in the school.

She is a substantial little mare who could easily carry a small lightweight adult as well.

Comes with her tack.

Her breeder is J. Dart from Anglesey WPCS Judge

Rock-Queen has been bred for her quality and temperament for which she has in abundance and is so chilled and has a willing to learn
Most of the Llafar Stud foals are sold abroad and are doing extremely well in their chosen careers.

Queenie Is A Lovely Friendly Mare Who Loves Nothing More Than Kisses!
She's Been Exposed To Various Things That Might Possibly Make Her Spook When She's Out And About.
Such As Dogs,Pushchairs, Flags, Bunting And Washing Especially Tractors And Cars.
Not Forgetting Cows, Pigs, Alpacas And Chickens.

She is up to date with her Vaccinations, Teeth and Feet. She's currently barefoot and has never had any shoes on.

She's so calm and very confident that she can be schooled by a child as well as an adult. She lunges with her bridle and saddle, or just a headcollar on as well as free rein. Just Look At That Jump That She's Got!!

She's learning Liberty and is picking it up quickly, She long reins beautifully and would be suitable for riding as well as driving with a bit more schooling.
I've Also Been Working With Her From The Ground On Some Lateral Moves, Such As Shoulder-In, Serpentines, Turns And Side Steps Such As Might Be Needed When Out And About, So That She's Got An Idea About What To Do

She is a late starter with riding as she has been started this year and is riding away nicely with someone walking at her side. I am working with her to build up her paces as well as some lateral work from the ground.

The picture with the girl on her was taken about 10 minutes after backing her, she really is that calm about everything. All That She Wants To Do Is To Please You And She Absorbs Everything That You Do With Her And She Gives It Her All

Rock-Queen has been shown Lightly In-Hand at Selby in the summer
She came a respectable 2nd and 3rd in her classes which were large ones.

As she has not been long as she was started and she is still green and sharp, I would recommend that she would make a fantastic 2nd ridden pony for a child although with some more schooling she will make a brilliant 1st ridden as she looks after her jockey already.

She's not been jumped under saddle, so she's very low mileage with no problem, she's just jumped in the field and the school, but she's got a cracking careful jump as can be seen in a picture. That one was around 2.5' high and she cleared it with loads to spare

Rock-Queen just needs a friend who wants to go and have some fun with her. she's too good to be wasted being a field

If you feel that you are the right person for Queenie then please get in touch And Drop Me A Message Or Text As I Don't Always Hear The Phone And I Will Return Your Call

Louie
Black and white cob
Perfect kids pony

SUPER SUPER SAFE
KIND, LOVING, SUPERSTAR

Louie is the calmest, considerate, gentleman who always takes care of his riders. Ridden by tiny tots both on and off the lead rein.

He is literally push button, responding to the voice throughout all upwards and downwards gaits.
He responded to the leg and or voice super slowly and calmly, he responds to both leg and voice aids in a calm, steady manner, maintaining one consistent, relaxed pace.

Beautifully Mannered/Exceptionally Safe
He has tonnes of experience, ideal for a beginner, a nervous rider, or someone looking to progress and have fun. He’s steady, calm, and gentle in every way—super chilled but not a plod. Despite his quiet nature, he is responsive to the leg and offers three lovely, balanced paces. Kind and willing, he’ll happily turn his hoof to anything you ask of him. He jumps small courses, logs, and cross-country fences with ease, and works beautifully in walk, trot, and canter—comfortably performing figures of eight, three- and four-loop serpentines, and 20-metre circles both on and off the lead rein in a slow, steady, and relaxed rhythm.

He is a fantastic all-rounder.

This is a really fantastic pony for anyone to build up their confidence, learn to ride and continue to progress on.
Definitely a 1st and 2nd pony.

7yrs schoolmaster

Exceptional gelding with tonnes of experience for sale. He is a true kids pony who looks after the smallest of riders, he has spent the last 2 years in the same riding school where he has been ridden by complete novice, intermediate and advanced riders. He has done all flat work lessons, privates and groups, with the same enthusiasm now as when he first started his riding school career. He is very genuine and loves to hack out, he doesn’t pull, rush, spook or get nervous of anything, he is the most loving gelding you could ever wish to meet, he is one of the favourite with our SEN children, he participates in all our RDA lessons, hacks and stable management sessions.
Louie loves to jump a course of small coloured and rustic fences.

Absolutely no vices, when ridden, in the stable or in the field and has brilliant manners enabling the tiniest tot to handle him safely and with ease, will stand for hours with no head collar or lead rope being groomed.

He has exceptional manners and ticks so many boxes for someone looking for a very safe easy schoolmaster, with no ifs or buts.

Louie will hack out alone or in company in the heaviest of traffic without batting an eye lid. He is 100% safe, steady and collected when ridden in all paces across open fields, regardless of whether he is at the front or back of the ride or on his own, he will not rush or pull even on the way home.

This pony is simply one in a million, he is one of our main RDA ponies, where he is ridden in the paddock, across open fields and roads by riders with mild to severe learning requirements he will stand at a mounting block for hours if required, he is absolutely not phased at all by extremely loud noises, shouting and screaming, riders waving their arms and swinging their legs, even dismounting whilst he is moving, he simply stops immediately.

Snaffle mouth with absolutely no gadgets.

He is stabled during the day and out at night within a mixed herd, he equally happy to be stabled or turned out full time, he keeps himself to himself and never causes any trouble despite being out with a large mixed herd.
He isn’t clingy in any way and is happy being stable and or turned out solo.

He is currently barefoot he has excellent manners with the farrier and could be shod if needed, he ties up anywhere, and loves attention.
He is excellent to catch, with the farrier, dentist bath, load, travel, clip.

Louie would give confidence to any rider/ handler and could easily compete at riding club level, fun/beach rides.

He can go for months without work then be tacked up and ridden without any fuss, he is extremely low maintenance, he maintains his weight all year round on grass and hay and Haylage during the winter months.
He has never been lame had laminitis, sweet-itch or sarcoids, no lumps or bumps whatsoever.

In the past 2yrs I can honestly say he has never been lame, sick or sorry, my vet can verify this, he has passed the riding school annual inspections with flying colours, this is equivalent to a stage 2 vetting.

Looking for a five star private home to give someone the opportunity to purchase a safe and very sensible pony, with so much to offer.

Louie is Truly one in a million and really can’t be missed.

Absolute heartbreaking sale but we like to change our stock around about every 2 years to give our fantastic horses and ponies the opportunity to experience a one to one home again.

We have other horses and ponies available for viewings.

Bruno - 5 year old Dartmoor Hill Pony - 13hh

Super smart 2nd pony, who is proving to be
a very successful jumping pony!

From wild hill pony to much loved yard favourite. He is a solid leg in each corner type!

Bruno has taken part in: rallies, lessons, show jumping competitions, mounted games training and debuted at his first mg competition last summer and fun rides. He has been to an Arena XC clinic and was absolutely awesome bold and brave jumping up to 80’s he really loved it, pulling into each fence! As well as pony drifting and showing where he won his class! Will make a smart (unreg) WHP prospect!

Bruno has had an excellent start to his education and has been carefully produced by myself and now 13 year daughter. We have tried to give him a well rounded education and show him as much as possible without rushing him, exposing him to every day life as a child’s pony. His schooling is coming on very nicely and is established in a correct and consistent outline in walk and trot even able to perform some lateral movements as I always introduce this early.

Enjoys his jumping and no doubt this is his strongest discipline - Currently he is most comfortable jumping 40 - 60 where he has taken a few wins and recently qualified for “Cricklands Champs”. He is scopey and will of of course jump bigger but not as careful at the bigger heights just yet. He is a speedy pony but you can tune up a down with his rider and can perform tight turns when needed!

Has recently been ridden and competed by a small but very competent 9 year old jockey in 40cm and 50cm heights coming away in the top ribbons would have qualified for bicton mini champs however rider went HC due to competing at a higher level in the past…

Good out hacking with some occasional green moments to be expected with a young pony, where he still needs to grow in his confidence, easily overcome by a reassuring rider. He is solo hacked often by adults and children no issues leaving the yard on his own. Bold and brave with jumping big logs, ditches, gorse bushes and going through rivers on hacks.

He is a real genuine allrounder with a talent in jumping. He has been shown and won his class first time out. He does a nice dressage test at home although hasn’t competed in dressage yet…Very smart, workman like attitude, busy pony, easy to do, will stand to be clipped without any fuss and generally a really nice boy to have around. He can be left in the stable
Or field on his own and is completely unfazed. Polite and easy going enough not be ridden every day but benefits from consistent work as he likes to be busy.

Please bear in mind he is still a young and low mileage pony who needs an experienced home to continue his education, so would not be suitable for a novice child unless a small enough adult or sibling to assist!

Very good hard feet so barefoot currently, up to date with farrier, dentist and worming. Hasn’t had any vaccines yet as they haven’t been required.

His ideal person would be an all rounder with a focus on sj as this is what he enjoys. He would also suit a small adult wanting a fun and genuine pony to enjoy who is happy to continue his education to bring out his full potential.

5* home sought for this wonderful chap, hard but inevitable sale! He will come with his bridle and a selection of rugs.

I am in no rush to see him go be aware his price will increase with more work and mileage, however offering him now so someone can have him for a full season of fun!

Newoak Delilah

Ref #: 400989
  • Superstar lead rein or first ridden m&m
  • Extremely well-bred, quality pony.
  • Kind, steady sweetheart.
£8,250 ONO
  • Dartmoor
  • Black
  • Mare
  • 8 years
  • 12 hands (AHC)
  • Superstar lead rein or first ridden m&m
  • Extremely well-bred, quality pony.
  • Kind, steady sweetheart.

Delilah is a much loved pony and although I had hoped to keep her one more year, my daughter's long legs say otherwise!

We bought Delilah directly off her breeder as a just backed 4yo. From there, we did a season of lead-rein m&m, lead-rein working hunter progressing to first ridden the following year and adding tiny tots working hunter last year. She was points champion every year, representing her riding club at STARS 3 years running. She also did a couple of affiliated shows being reserve champion and could easily be a RIHS/HOYS pony.

Delilah has been in group lessons and pony club, indoors and outdoors, grass and surfaces. She excels at handy pony - walks over sheets, stands still to post a letter and more recently, really enjoyed a go at mounted games.

My daughter (now aged 10) has done all the work herself, no other riders needed. They learned to canter at the same time, to jump at the same time, everything! Delilah just took things in her stride. She does not alter when at STARS, copes well with a big atmosphere. She hacks out happily but has not been out solo given my daughter's young age. You can leave her for a couple of weeks, get on her and expect her to be exactly the same. She is never in a rush but at the same time, is not a slug. Will just do what she is asked and no more.

Delilah is a real quality pony - clean limbed, straight moving and well put together. AHC at 121.8cm.

Delilah did have a bout of laminitis last summer when living out. She now comes in at night and needs to do so with future owners so she can't binge!

Delilah comes with a native pony bridle, full set of rugs. Saddles available by seperate negotiation.

Morris is a handsome and kind Dun Connemara, 14.2hh, 7-year-old gelding who has been a cherished part of our family for the last 5 years, he was professionally backed.

Morris is the ideal choice for someone looking for low level riding club, dressage, hacking and hound exercises/pleasure rides.

He’s a fun, safe and kind pony and doesn’t have any vices.

He is such a chilled pony, he schools nicely on the flat, we have taken him to a variety of training and experienced multiple disciplines with us, his favourite is being out and about seeing the countryside and would welcome a home with a variety of experiences to include hacking, hound exercises and pleasure rides.

He has done riding club showing where he was very well liked by the judges and won trophies. He is always snaffle mouthed and in a cavesson bridle.

Very sad sale of our much loved boy, no time wasters please.

Dunhaul Jack
2021 (5yo) 14.2 approx. compact Irish sports pony type - no recorded breeding.

Good to hack alone and in company and good in traffic.

Bold but not a novice ride due to his age and type. Wants an experienced home to further produce and have fun with.

Has been to training shows and behaved beyond his years. Demonstrates scope and ability over a fence. Is green on the flat but progressing all the time.

Has been hunting and is impeccable in a large group - stands, waits, does gates and doesn't bother about horses coming past or up behind.

Good to catch, trim (currently unshod), bath, clip, load and travel. Currently turned out in company.

Has been produced slowly and sympathetically having been purchased as a 3yo and backed by ourselves so full ridden history known. Clean limbed and nicely marked.

Does have a suspected small, flat sarcoid on his chest which does not affect him but price does already reflect this.

No joyriders, or timewasters please.

Can be sold with wardrobe of rugs.

Northamptonshire based, with good trial facilities.

WhatsApp please. References required.

Price will increase as he continues education.

Ginger, (Nanteglwys Lady Emmalie) 12 year old Welsh section D mare, standing at 14.1hh. beautiful breeding.

Up to date with farrier (bare foot), vacs, worming and dentist. Had health check January with the Vet, no concerns.

Has been out of ridden work due to personal circumstances however she is still continuing with ground work, lunging and long reining in the field and on the road. (Not as much as she needs, but unfortunately I fell on holiday and torn my achilles tendon so have been on crutches, my daughter has been doing what she can. Sad sale as I won't ride again due to my injuries, and she is far better than a field ornament.)

She went away for 2 weeks before Christmas for more schooling and jumping. Has been on a busy yard ridden in indoor and outdoor arenas.

She produced one foal in 2017 with previous owner. Full history known. Forward going ride, works nicely in an outline when schooling she uses her body correctly, walk, trot, canter and has popped a few jumps.
Will be sold from field.

Has been ridden in open spaces and lightly hacked out on the road, lives on a farm.

Will load and travel nicely. Easy to do, loves a groom and a bath. Lives in or out.

Would suit a confident rider who would continue her development, she is green. Not for a novice as she needs someone to give her confidence.

Sweet mare, never nasty , No vices ,no biting or kicking. Can be nervous at times and takes confidence from her rider. Would make a lovely mother/ daughter/ father/ son share.

Experience home only, she wont tollerate young children who can not ride. Needs an experienced Rider. All I want for this sweet mare is a loving home and people who know how to keep and understand horses. ( you won't believe how many time wasters and dreamers are out there! ).

Can come with tack and rugs.

He all so would make a safe and reliable racing shetland.
He has a easy mannerly way around a course, and happily jumps what ever asked of him.

He is an easy ride safe, straight forward a truly fun pony. He does not take kick kick to get him going he enjoys his job.
He is easy to do in all ways.
He had done a great job for us taking my daughter around her first full up BSPS course, really teaching her a great deal for which I will always be grateful.
This is a hard sale as we think so much of this pony and what he has done for us.
Only reason for sale is my daughter has grown so much over the winter.

Star is a phenomenal lead rein pony who wins everything from showing classes, WHP to showjumping classes.

She has also hunted on the lead rein and was foot perfect.

Off the lead at home and at shows she is very safe and sensible but lacks the confidence to jump fillers off the lead.

Happy to be lead from any horse.

She’s 100% in traffic, clipping, showing ect.

A much loved pony who is sadly out grown so will only go to the very best of homes.

Last show she went to, she won every class and then went reserve champion in the WHP.
