We have owned Storm for the past 2 years and have slowly and carefully produced her. During her first year, we concentrated on groundwork and took her to in-hand shows. Over the past year, she has progressed on to:

Storm has always kept my son safe on farm rides, including in big groups and open spaces. However, she is not a first-ridden pony due to her age and the fact that she is still green.

Skye is a fun and versatile pony. She will give anything a try and puts her whole heart into it. In the almost 4 years we have owned skye, she has taught her jockey everything, from a novice 9 year old girl to a now confident 13 year old. 

Skye will take most riders, however, she will only do what's asked of her. If you dont ride, she wont go. She adjusts to her rider and certainly knows how to go up the gears when she is asked.

We have done a little show jumping where she jumps fillers and water trays ect.

She has been out to cross country hires where she went through the water, up and down steps ect first time without hesitation.

She hacks out alone or in company.

She can be left for weeks without work and she never alters. There's no need for any lunging, ear plugs or calmers at home or away. You get on and go.

On the ground at home skye needs boundaries. If your prepared to let her walk over you, she will. That being said, children work with her daily. 
Take her away to shows and she will stand on the box all day happily. She has also done a couple of stay away shows where she is easy to do.

We’ve had Buffa for the last two years for my daughter and, if I’m honest, we probably bought him too early for her.

He is definitely not a first pony. He’s a typical Welsh B, can be silly and he can buck. He also reacts to a nervous rider, which unfortunately my daughter is, so they’ve never really been the right match.

With a confident rider he’s a completely different pony. I have plenty of videos of him bombing around the beach, hacking and jumping with more experienced riders and he can be great fun.

He’s very easy to do on the ground, good to shoe and clip, good in a herd and travels well in a trailer or horsebox.

He is 127.7cm and JMB registered. He will happily trot around a 40/50/60cm course and will step up and jump around 70/80/90cm. With his previous owners he has a record jumping Springboard classes, so he’s certainly got the ability there.

With us he’s mainly been used in our riding school and ridden by my daughter. She has taken him to NSEA competitions, jumping the 50s and going clear around the 60s this year.

He is a pony that is much better when he’s in regular work. When he’s being hacked, ridden and jumped consistently he is much quieter. He’s not the sort you can leave in the field for a week and then just hop back on. The more work he has, the better he is.

Sadly my daughter doesn’t want to do BS and really just wants a pony she can hack around on and enjoy, so Buffa is completely wasted with us.

We did pay quite a lot of money for him, but he hasn’t done loads over the last couple of years, so his price will reflect that as we would like a fairly quick sale to the right home.

He would suit a confident little rider who wants to get out, jump and have some fun.

He isn’t suitable for a nervous or novice child, and I’d rather be completely upfront about that from the start.
