Amdani Great Victory

Scooby Doo – The Ultimate First Pony

Scooby Doo is the quietest, kindest and most sensible little pony you could ever wish to meet. He is exceptionally safe, with impeccable manners both under saddle and on the ground, making him the perfect first pony both on and off the lead rein.

He will happily walk, trot and canter beautifully on the lead rein for children taking their very first steps into riding. Off the lead rein, he is equally happy carrying riders who are holding the saddle handle while building confidence, as well as those riding independently. He truly has a young body with an old head on his shoulders. He is never spooky, sharp, strong or silly and always takes wonderful care of his riders.

Over the past 15 months, Scooby Doo has worked in a professional riding school where he has safely taught hundreds of children, from tiny tots aged just two years old through to more established young riders. He has patiently introduced countless children to walk, trot, canter and their very first jumps. He has three beautifully balanced, steady paces and responds exceptionally well to the voice, allowing beginners who are still holding the saddle handle to be guided confidently without needing rein contact.

Scooby has never bolted, reared, bitten or shown any nasty traits. He has the sweetest, kindest nature any parent could wish for. He IS NOT cheeky, mischievous or naughty like some little ponies can be. He greets everyone with his ears pricked forward, comes to call from the field and absolutely adores kisses, cuddles and attention. He truly is every child’s dream pony, with the most adorable little face that you simply can’t help but fall in love with.

He waits patiently in group lesson waiting for his turn, is equally well behaved in private lessons, and has taken part in our in-house competitions including Lead Rein classes, Handy Pony, Fancy Dress and Pony Club rallies.

He has a lovely snaffle mouth and requires no gadgets.

Scooby is affectionately known as our “large puppy dog” because of his incredibly affectionate, gentle and loyal personality. He adores people and will happily follow you around the yard without a headcollar or lead rope. He stands quietly to be groomed, bathed and fussed over, and genuinely loves attention.

His manners are second to none, allowing even the youngest children to confidently catch him from the field, lead him, groom him, pick out his feet, tack him up and care for him safely.

He is a firm favourite during our stable management courses and therapy sessions, where his calm, trustworthy nature allows children to build confidence while working independently.

Scooby is exceptional out hacking. He is completely unfazed by heavy, fast-moving traffic and has seen everything from articulated lorries, double-decker buses, tractors and trailers to motorbikes, bicycles, prams / trolleys and dogs, absolutely nothing fazes him.

He hacks confidently both alone and in company, happily leading or following. He is never strong, nappy or silly and is perfectly content to stay at the back of the ride without trying to overtake, maintaining whatever pace is asked of him. In open spaces he remains calm, relaxed and sensible. If the other horses canter away, Scooby is more than happy to stay behind with his rider, and he will patiently wait if the others return home ahead of him.

Scooby enjoys jumping and will happily pop a small course of coloured or rustic fences, both on and off the lead rein, always giving his rider confidence.

He is excellent to clip, catch, load, travel, shoe and stands perfectly for the dentist, farrier and vet. He loads first time, every time, travels impeccably and is an absolute pleasure to take out and about.

Scooby has recently passed our annual Riding School Licence inspection, carried out by a veterinary surgeon, which is comparable to a Stage 2 vetting.

During the entire time we have owned him, he has never been sick, lame, suffered from colic or required any time off through injury or illness. He is fit, healthy and in excellent condition, with no sarcoids, sweet itch, laminitis, lumps or bumps.

He is wonderfully low maintenance and doesn’t need riding every day. He can happily have four weeks off and return to work exactly as he left it, without any fuss or freshness. He currently works four days a week in our riding school and thoroughly enjoys his job. Sold on behalf of a working livery.

We have several horses and ponies available for viewing.

Scooby has a very simple routine and is incredibly easy to keep. He has a basic diet of haylage when stabled and grass when turned out. He currently lives in a mixed herd of 25 horses, is stabled during the day when working and turned out overnight. Equally, he would be perfectly happy living out full-time or being stabled full-time. He is not clingy and is equally content living or turning out on his own if required.

Scooby is only available because we regularly rotate our riding school horses after around 12 months to two years. We strongly believe these wonderful ponies deserve the opportunity to enjoy a one-to-one family home where they receive individual attention, more variety and plenty of fun adventures. They work incredibly hard teaching children and give so much of themselves every single day, so we feel they deserve the very best next chapter.

Whoever is lucky enough to buy Scooby will not just be purchasing a pony—they will be gaining a kind, genuine and utterly trustworthy family member who will give a child years of confidence, fun and unforgettable memories.

Ranger is a 14.2h 4yo piebald Irish cob gelding with an old head on young shoulders. He is extremely quiet in all situations, ideal for hacking alone or in groups.

He is broken to ride western and English style!

Ranger is completely sensible no matter the ability of his rider. He has been ridden by our working students, and all of our girls. He is fit to carry an adult.

He is very mellow to ride in groups, even in open spaces. He is quiet around traffic, cows, tractors, machinery, and in new places.

We think Ranger would best suit a family with many kids who ride, or a riding school looking for a quiet, patient pony.

Lilly

Cracking All-Rounder / Happy Hacker / Pony Club / Competitions / Family Friend

Lilly is a kind, calm, safe, and steady Cob. She is a fantastic all-rounder, suited to a wide range of riders—whether you’re looking for a confidence-giver, a happy hacker, or a horse to enjoy fun rides, beach outings, and low-level competitions.

She has a gentle, easy-going personality, low maintenance. She will stand quietly at the mounting block without being held, waits patiently in her stable even with the door open, and is never pushy or strong. Lilly is ideal for solo riders, competent novice, or someone wanting a calm and reliable ride.

Lilly has three balanced paces and rides beautifully on the flat. She is calm and relaxed but responsive to the leg if asked – very sensible and never spooky, silly, sharp or strong.

Lilly has spent the last 12 months in a professional riding school setting where she has been ridden by all levels of children and adults, from complete beginners on the lead rein, competent novice off the lead rein, holding the handle on the saddle if required in trot and canter and advanced level riders, she will happily jump a course of small coloured and rustic fences, she always helps out her riders out if you come in on a bad stride, she is perfect for building up your confidence if you are inexperienced, nervous or need a horse to teach you the ropes, she participates in our in-house fun rides, jumping, cross country and low level dressage competitions.

She works in a lovely outline with three naturally balanced paces, she is schooled well on the flat, including lateral work and basic dressage movements. She has a bold, confident jump and would easily progress to a higher level with a competent rider. Lilly has the perfect balance of “go” when asked, but is equally happy to relax on a loose rein for a calm more whoa kind of ride. We are a very busy establishment with a lot go on, she takes everything in her stride working independently and within large group lessons, she is responsive to the leg when asked whilst remaining super sensible and calm.

She hacks out alone or in company. She is 100% safe in open spaces, does not rush home, pull or get strong, even after a canter or gallop, she will come straight back to walk on a loose rein. She is extremely confident in traffic, riding boldly and completely unfazed by extremely busy fast moving traffic including double decker buses, articulated lorries, motorcycles, push bikes, prams, dogs, large farm machinery, she is not clingy with other horses, and will ride away from the herd without a second thought.

Lilly is excellent with the farrier (currently barefoot) equally happy to be shod, great to load, travel, dentist and has no vices in the stable or field. She is happy to live in or out and is equally settled in a herd or on her own. She is currently turned out at night and stabled during the day when in work, she is happy turned out full time. Currently working 4 days a week.

She doesn’t need riding every day and can be left for weeks or months without changing – no lunging needed, just tack up and go.

She has never had laminitis, sweet itch, sarcoids, or any lumps or bumps, not marish or clingy, no vices, she passes our annual licence inspection, which is equivalent to a Stage 2 vetting.

Only for sale as we regularly rotate our horses giving them the chance to enjoy one-to-one attention in a private home. They undertake a lot of arena work within the riding school setting which can become repetitive and mentally uninteresting over time.

We are looking for a forever loving home where she can continue to thrive.

Being sold on behalf of a working livery.

We are also reducing stock so we have a few other horses and ponies also available.

  • Sweet natured
  • Yard favorite

Quantocks Solace (Pickles) is a beautiful 7-year-old, 14.2hh, Bay Quantock x Arab mare. Fabulous Pony club/Eventing or competition pony.

Pickle is very athletic and has a great pop in her. She is happily jumping 50/60 with potential to go bigger.

Pickle would make a great BS pony, as she is agile and careful but could equally make a fabulous event pony, we just have not had the time to get her out to an event and due to rider out growing her.Pickle has also hunted with her previous owner and loved it, so would make a great little hunting pony (Happy to send videos of her hunting).

Pickle has also been to Honiton Show as a 4 year old where she won her in-hand and came 3rd in her ridden class for showing.

Pickle is going very nicely on the flat, she has three correct paces. She is green in the school meaning she will need constant work for a few months however she is a fast learner and loves to please!

She is snaffle mouthed always, she can throw in a small buck at times out of excitement. She will also have a small nap at things she’s not sure about but with rider confidence she gets over it quickly. Never reared, but is looking for a confident rider and knowledgeable home to continue her education.

She is the kindest character on the ground and would make a perfect family pony, she loves a fuss and a pamper! (Especially bum scratches!)

Super easy to have on the yard and has always been a favorite!, good to handle, shoe, box, catch, dentist and clip. Hacks alone or in company, great in open spaces and is happy to be in front or behind. She can get a bit joggy but she is part arab so that says it all.

Five- star home only for this very special and talented pony.

I know all of her history as close friends with her previous owner who bought her directly off the moor.

Up to date with all her vacs.

Lots more pictures and videos upon request, Enquiries via WhatsApp please.

Please note she is being sold as a project due to her being green so needs a confident, light weight rider.

Tack can be negotiated.

Cinderella is a super sweet, fun and outgoing little mare who is up for whatever adventure you throw at her with whatever kind of rider! She was bought as a project for myself but as something my little niece could also play on from time to time and she has done exactly that. Most of what we have done with Cinderella is hacking. She is willing in the school but still on the green side so this is reflected in her price. She is however very safe and I don’t doubt you could put her in a pony club camp group and she would follow around and try her best anyway! She is also super on lead rein so could suit a family needing a pony for a variety of riders. I also ride her as a small adult (5”4) and feel quite comfortable as does she.

I often lead her off my bigger horses and she is safe as they come. Equally she’ll toddle behind all day with no leadrope on and won’t challenge her jockey or “try it on”. Shes just happy to be there. She’s great with all kinds of traffic. She has been out on fun rides and in groups never gets strong or silly.

I would label her as either a first ridden on lead rein or a second pony for a confident jockey who can show her the way in the aspects where she is still learning. Viewings and vettings welcome.

  • May also excel in traditional classes

A beautiful example of a traditional cob with full mane, tail and feathers. She moves too! Most of what we have done with Rosie to date is hacking to get her confidence and to enjoy her work. We felt the school made her a little tense and due to her age and stage in education she was struggling to balance herself (as we all know the cobs do find tight corners tricky!) however she is very safe and forward going and even if she gets tense you’ve always got breaks. She’s not the type to ever buck, rear or bolt just occasionally needs to pause have some reassurance then go again. Marches through the village unfazed by all the tractors, buses and school traffic that passes through. However given her age she is not suitable for a total novice.

I am advertising now at the stage she is however will continue to take her on outings. This weekend I will be taking her to do a traditional cob class for some experience. We will also be attending hound exercise and fun rides.

With some time I feel she would excel in a few different types of homes. Someone who enjoys showing traditionals or even someone who just wants a beautiful, leg in each corner cob to take to the pub and down the beach. Whatever job she goes to do she’s ready for someone to make their own.

She pops a fence and can make a nice shape too.

All viewings and vettings welcome.

Frankie is a pleasure to do on the ground, great for the farrier, dentist and clipping. Loads and travels well.

He’s got very low mileage due to my own commitments and not being the perfect match for me. He's a very forward thinking horse and is definately not a kick along or plod and not suitable for a novice rider.

He will school in an outline in all 3 paces and has a lovely soft mouth, however at times he can be tense whilst being schooled. He’s got a great jump and has always jumped anything in front of him.

He needs a confident and sensitive rider who would have lots of time and patience to bring out the best of him and further his education.

He's been out to a couple of clinics, but no shows or camps.

Frankie is up to date with vaccinations, dentist, physio and farrier.

Frankie was purchased as a weanling from Ireland in October 2018 and has had the same home since that date, knowledgeable home very important.

Teddy is a very smart 11 year old gelding, with a super character and brain.

Measures 12.2hh at home with front shoes on, so should measure in under the new system.

He is established at 70/80 BS, however, has competed in 90cm classes and jumped 1m at home.

He is forward going and can be strong but is never nasty, just enthusiastic. Handled by children, loves being groomed and fussed over. Can be headstrong on the ground at times, so needs an experienced home with competent adults.

Hacks alone or in company and leads off of another horse.

He has attended many stay aways and pony club camp.

Achievements are as followed:

- Qualified for stepping stones nationals 2025

- Qualified for cats & pipes Scope 2025

- 6th 70cm SJ bicton mini champs 2024

- 8th 70cm eventing bicton pc regionals 2024

- Qualified 80cm and 90cm Hartpury championships

- Qualified spring festival 80cm

- Jumped in the academy teams 2024

- Qualified schools finals 70cm and 80cm

- Jumped british novice and blue-chip qualifiers

- Has arena evented and xc schooled

He would suit a confident, established rider, who wants a fun, forward ride. He is lovely and forgiving but would not suit a novice.

no time wasters.

We have bred and owned Mulligan all her life. She has always been super easy to do, so much so, shes always the one who gets left, and not ridden. Whilst I find her super easy, and if anything, I like it when shes not been ridden for a month and is a little fresh, we have had a few try her and found her too forward for them.

There is no need to kick on this mare, leg on means go. She marchs in walk and trots out, keeping up with any horse. She loves a canter across the fields and tracks, but pulls up easy in a snaffle.

Personally I find circles in an arena boring, (plus we don’t have an arena) so we do not do it. If you want a dressage horse, you will need to put the work in, as our idea of fun is hacking. However she has been to dressage and show jump shows with a friend many years ago, so the buttons will still be there, its up to you if you want them, and if so you might need to re program.

Her forte is hacking, heavy traffic is no issue, gates she’s a pro, she’s safe in open spaces, she goes first or last, and is confident on her own.

You can ride and lead her, or from her, so super easy.

She is a unit, i’m 5ft6 and she takes up my leg, and some, I’ve never felt too big for her. Shes super comfortable to ride with plenty of neck and shoulder in front of you.

She is only for sale as I’ve bred myself a taller version and if she gets ridden once a fortnight she’s done well.

If you are into your gypsy cob breeding you will see she has great breeding, and is very correct if you wanted to show.

She needs her own person, but if you are coming from a riding school, are used to kicking every stride, or are hoping for a mother daughter share for your ten year old who is still struggling with rising trot, she is unlikely to be for you, you are likely to feel over horsed.

She is kind, super fun and gives you a great fun ride.

She is and has always been barefoot, easy to clip, bath, spray etc. She is vaccinated, has had a foal (we are a stud) three years ago which she did easily and her foal is still with us (also for sale).

Her ideal home is someone who wants to hack out, have a good canter across fields, do some fun rides etc

We have them in each night, and in the winter we have little / no turnout and she’s happy to stay in 24/7. She doesn’t get fresh or silly when in.

The home and person is every important, as she is a member of our family, but she is surplus to needs at the moment, and she could give someone a lot of fun.

She has a Kent & Masters saddle, Seddon bridle and a larger wardrobe than me that I’m happy to discuss

Dream ( Kildromin Dream) has been my granddaughters pony club ride from a five year old until now - she reached her 12th year in June - born 2014.

She is fast - can turn on a sixpence and is great out hunting / team chase and polocrosse - she was a real winner show jumping and has a good BSJ record - however she started not to enjoy jumping about four years ago,so we bought our granddaughter another horse for showjumping and Dream hasn’t been ridden as much since then - she has still hunted in the season and competed polocrosse regularly even getting a podium place at pony club championships in 2024 !

She’s always been exercised regularly in our arena at home -( she’s always been shod on all four ) and we are told by experts recently that she shows real potential as a dressage horse - but that she isn’t a horse you can just pull from the field and expect rosettes - the regular effort and dedication has to come from her rider too. We feel she would be ideally suited to a low level dressage / happy hacker at the moment.

She can be a little spooky but nothing dangerous… she does take confidence from her rider and is sensitive and a goer but nothing dangerous or sharp.

Although she’s always been a kids horse and has done a marvellous job - I do feel she’s not really a totally novice ride and also she measured in at 149.5 officially and is probably close to 15hh now - so a horse not a pony as categories go - therefore our aim is for her to go to a petite adult rider with experience- and who can offer a five star forever home for this much loved mare.

She is never sick or sorry and is open to any vetting - she is up to date with worming / injections / teeth etc
