Bella

If you are looking for a little project who is already a happy hacker possible a hunting pony then Bella would match this, she is a gorgeous affectionate pony. Bella will hack in company or alone and she is the most affectionate loving pony who loves giving kisses and is amazing on the ground. She stands for hours being groomed and pampered. Our 3 year old little girl can groom her and Bella will stand still. Bella will walk and trot on a hack and will go into a canter with a little buck sometimes at the beginning, this isn’t all the time.

Bella is currently bare foot and doesn’t like wearing shoes. She will stand well for the farrier if she has a hay net to keep her occupied. She was clipped last October.

Bella is up to date with her vaccinations and saw the dentist in October 2024 and her teeth were all good, she sees the physio regularly and the saddle was re-flocked this year.

Bella attended a Pony club camp last year where she did a one day event which consisted of a small dressage test, show jumping and cross country courses as well as some rallies for showing jumping, mounted games, handball and cross country. We have also trailered her to the New Forest. She is good to transport and will stand still, she sometimes needs encouragement with treats or food to load but the more you go out the better she is.

Bella doesn’t like the school and has been known to show a rear or buck when she is pushed. We have had her seen by the vet on more than one occasion for this.

She has had her sacroiliac joints injected, scoped for ulcers where they found some low grading ulcers which have been treated, she has been re-scoped and given the all clear and advised to work on her schooling due to her being green in this area.

She is currently at a trainers yard where an event trainer has been working with her for the past 4 weeks and has seen some good progress but for her schooling to come on this is going to take time. She is currently seeing farm equipment regularly at the yard as well as tractors moving around. She wasn’t sure at first but now isn’t phased and will walk past when they are still or moving.

Bella can be kept out all year round or can be stabled if needs to be. She is currently being stabled during the day and out in her field at night at the trainers. She is easy to catch once she gets to know you but will do anything for a treat. Now she runs over to my daughter and greets her at the gate.

Bella has recently started to be lunged and is now understanding her job when asked for walk trot and canter by voice command the trainer has also seen a gallop from her. Bella loves a jump and has been lunged over a jump in trot and canter at the trainers.

She is good to hack in the forest and isn’t phased by dogs, bikes or people walking. She has just started to do some road work at the trainers yard and again isn’t phased by cars, vans or motorcycles coming past her. When she does spook in the forest it’s more of a stand and she will look at what is spooking her, she likes to stop and look. We have had no rears or bucks in the forest.

Bella due to her size would suit an experienced teenager or small adult that can educate her more. My daughter who is 12 years old would like a pony she can school as well as hack and we just don’t have the time to be able to do this with Bella.

£3000 with all her tack and wardrobe.

More videos and photos can be sent if you are interested.

  • Genuine pony with a bright future ahead.
Beautiful Chaps registered 135cm 6yro Gelding, top class WHP prospect.

This unusually marked, striking gelding has an extremely kind nature and willingness to work & learn. An expressive big loose straight moving pony, a lovely length of rein, substance without losing quality, and a very kind eye.

Rides very mannerly on the flat, he is very polite to a fence and hacks out alone & in company and has proved very solid in a variety of busy traffic. He's seen lots of the world on fun rides and clinics and doesn't get hot or silly.

He has recently started his jumping under saddle and he has had the most willing attitude, proving how much he would excel nursery stakes or as 133 WHP, he's jumped round coloured fences, been xc schooling and jumped around a Workers course. He improves vastly on each and every outing and would be easily produced by a capable ambitious child. Beyond the show circuit, a lovely alround pony, dressage & hunter... he could do it all.

Snaffle mouthed in all environments, with a lovely way of going. For a young pony at the beginning of his career he shows the right level headed nature to go on to do very exciting things with a small adult/ teen or an ambitious child with guidance to continue his education.

Beautiful natured to deal with, no stable vices he's very easy to have around.

Vaccinations up to date.

“Currently happy hacking only”

Frank is currently hacking happily alone or in company.

Frank loves hacking and has been great with any traffic we have met on him.

Frank came to us confused and pulled out of his old routine he has now completely settled and happy.

He needs 121 and a good routine to bring him on further, he seems pretty clueless in school we’ve taken him in there walk trotted round but his very slow and stubborn.

Unfortunately with over 20 horses in I just don’t have the time he deserves or needs to bring him on in the school.

But we have been hacking him a few times a week and think he would love this life.

Can only show him hacking.

Sired by Meelickisland Rebel a class 1 stallion and out of a class 1 mare sired by Bell Spailpin Fanach.

Rebel is a 4 yr old mare standing at 14.1 HH to make 14.3 HH and has tested double negative for Hoof Wall Separation Disease.

We bought Rebel as a foal from the Connemara pony sale and she has been with us since, she’s a good doer and has been brought on slowly. Never been lame or had any ailments.

She has been lightly broken - doing long reining, hacking (on the road and around woodlands and fields) and loose schooling.

She has a very sweet temperament and always comes up to you in the field.

She would be perfect for a competent teenager or amatuer to bring on and would do a bit of everything. She shows amazing scope over a fence and is careful over poles.

She is currently being long reined and hacked on a daily basis.

We have two other ponies available that have been with us since foals and all have been brought on slowly.

Peanut has been with us for 2 years and has taught my very nervous granddaughter to ride. He is now very sadly for sale purely because he is too small for her.

Peanut is the perfect lead rein pony he can be lead by children over jumps and is impeccably behaved.

Off the lead rein he is a genuine first ridden pony and is more kick along than whoa.

What you would call a real confidence giver.

We have done all sorts of pony club activities with him including camp. His previous owners did team games with him.

When out and about he is well behaved and never silly.

Peanut loves fuss and will stand all day to be brushed and pampered he really is a sweetheart.

He is good to hack out both on the road and in fields he is used to large farm machinery sheep and dogs.

He is easy to load, clip, catch and for the farrier. He has no vices.

This is a very sad sale of a much loved family pony who I cannot praise highly enough.

EYE CATCHING DRESSAGE/WORKING HUNTER PROSPECT

Ref #: 378017
  • Achieved 1st in M&M In-Hand, Reserve Champion and went into the supreme championship at Dorset County Show main arena
  • Well established in the school, with beautiful paces
£8,000
  • Welsh Section D
  • Chestnut
  • Gelding
  • 6 years
  • 14.3 hands
  • Achieved 1st in M&M In-Hand, Reserve Champion and went into the supreme championship at Dorset County Show main arena
  • Well established in the school, with beautiful paces

Jack is a 14’3 Welsh D 6 year old with the ‘look at me’ factor (seriously, this boy could feature in a ‘neigh’belline advert). If you don’t like being the centre of attention, Jack is not for you, as he literally gets compliments for his looks every where he goes, even out hacking.

We brought Jack 4 months ago, however Jack was misrepresented in his advertisement as a horse ready to go out and compete at 80cm. What arrived at the yard in April was a horse scared of his own shadow, unconfident, and in need of a lot of work. We have spent the past 4 months showing Jack the world, taking him out and about to flatwork and jumping clinics, introducing him to the world of competitions, and generally just settling him into normal, day to day life. When Jack arrived he was bolshy, and had no boundaries. Jack will now stand with his stable door wide open, and is much more patient in every aspect, but we do want to be completely honest about how far he has come in the past 4 months, as he is still very much learning.

Jack is a fantastic stamp of a horse. He is well established in the school, with beautiful paces. Jack was broken late, as a 5 year old, and so his canter still requires some strength work, though as you can see from the videos it is a strong eye catching gait. Jack has competed in numerous intro dressage competitions, most recently coming second, even with his jockey learning the wrong test initially (seriously, sack me). Jack has never placed below 2nd place in any of his dressage competitions, he will be a serious one to watch for the future in the right home, and regularly scores 70%+. We were told by the previous owner that Jack has competed in one Prelim, and came 2nd in a busy class.

Jack’s previous owner also stated that he achieved 1st in M&M In-Hand, Reserve Champion and went into the supreme championship at Dorset County Show main arena.

Jack is very new to jumping – but it is certainly something he enjoys. He is the type to pull you towards a fence with his ears pricked, though isn’t quite educated enough yet to always pull the perfect stride. Jack is generally quite bold, however (typical Welsh D) will get upset about something should he believe it is terrifying. He has schooled over all sorts of fillers first time with no issues, but can be prone to a spook every now and again. Height is not an issue for Jack.

Jack has been to group and solo lessons. He is not fazed by standing around and waiting, or by other horses around him.

Jack hacks out alone and in company, however when Jack came to us he was very unconfident alone, and would nap. We have put a lot of work into this, and as you can see in the videos below, Jack is now happy to hack alone, though this may take a settling period. Jack is perfect around all traffic, and frequently sees farm machinery, cars, lorries etc.

When Jack came to us, he had been mainly living out in a herd. Currently, he is on a private yard, stabled at night, and out in the day. It did take him a while to settle into being in a stable, however he is now extremely relaxed, loves a treat over the stable door, and will stand munching his hay happily whilst you take his friends out and about. Handling around the yard he is a dream, and more of a donkey then a Welsh D. His stable manners are impeccable, and he keeps a lovely clean stable.

Jack will stand for hours to be brushed and bathed and fussed with. He is great with the farrier (he is only shod on his fronts as has great feet).

At competitions, Jack can be wired. He is not the sort to stand by the box for hours while you get dressed, he does need to get straight on with his job. Jack can be bolshy out and about, and needs a firm hand to tell him no.

When Jack came to us, he would rush off a trailer, and could take a few minutes to load. We have put extensive work into this, and as you can see in the video, he now loads first time, and takes his time coming off the box. Again, this may be something to be aware of initially.

Jack is a pony with a seriously loveable personality, but he can take a moment to really trust his new mum/dad. He requires an experienced home, one which is able to continue putting more work into him, and equally able to tell him no when needed. He will be a seriously fun little horse in the future.

Axel is an absolute saint of a pony and a true allrounder. Has been with current owner since a 4yo.

He has been out showjumping, done some cross country, been on beach rides, arena hires etc, he takes all of it in his stride. Never says no to a fence, great with fillers etc, not a spooky type. Has low mileage jumping wise, has jumped out at 60/70 but potential for bigger down the line with a bit of work.

Hacks out alone or in company, great in traffic, around dogs, in open fields and has seen farm machinery. He briefly went out on loan where he taught children to ride, until he returned to my yard to be sold. He is only for sale as owner has had a baby, so a very sad sale.

Easy to do in every way, travels/loads like a dream, fine for farrier, getting clipped etc. only needs sedated to get his teeth done. Can be turned out alone or with geldings/mares. Can't reiterate how easy this pony is! He is nice and forward for a cob, very good off your leg, would be perfect for a pony club home for someone to go out and enjoy him. Can be a little strong so not suitable for very small children but would suit an older child or small adult.

He recently had an eye removed, whilst his other eye is very healthy, this is reflected in his price.

He's an absolute joy to have and deserves the very best of homes, owner would like to keep in touch.

Sunny has been my 12 year old daughter's best friend for the last two years. Unfortunately she has lost interest and we are losing our grazing due to house sale and I haven't the time or space to take all my ponies with us!

Up to date with worming/farrier/vaccs - Never sick or sorry

We have thoroughly enjoyed our time with Sunny and will be so sad to see him go, but with the house sale and my daughter's loss of interest, we are no longer able to keep him. He has been ridden by myself (mum, 5'5") and my daughter for all disciplines.

He has done stay away camps, pony club rallies, local show jumping, NSEA and dressage. He loves hacking and will hack alone or in company, first or last. Great with traffic, farm equipment, lorries, buses and all livestock (we have had cows, pigs, sheep and chickens).

Sunny is a forward ride and doesnt need nagging, he has great brakes and ridden in a snaffle. He is a joy to take out and about, great to load in a box or trailer by myself, stands for hours to be groomed and happy to be caught, great to clip. Turns out with mares or geldings and has lived out all year with us.

Sunny is a typical welsh/new forest type and can have an opinion. He would not suit a first ridden and does best with a confident rider who can tell him what to do, he will take advantage of a rider who is lacking in confidence. Having said this, I am teaching my 9 year old son to ride on him and he is behaving impeccably on and off the lunge.

Tack and rugs available, subject to negotiations.

Luna is is as honest and genuine as they come. She's a compact 13'2 cob age 6.5yrs. Perfect for a mother daughter share, a lightweight adult, or anyone who wants a stress free fun pony to love and care for.

Luna has been in the same home since a 3yr old and has been a much loved member of the family. She was started slowly and considerately over that time, having been long lined anywhere and everywhere before being started under saddle. She was unphased by the backing process, proving to be an old head on young shoulders.

She has been used as a mother/daughter share, mainly ridden by the daughter (as mum has her own horse). Luna has been hacked very regularly, with the odd flatwork clinic and fun trot pole comp thrown in during the school holidays. Luna has regularly given rides on the lead rein around farm tracks to friends of the family and has never put a foot wrong.

Luna has proven herself to be very safe, more whoa than go type. She is unphased by traffic and has been known to regularly give other horses a lead past scary things.
Never, rears, bucks or bolts. Safe sound and genuine.

Luna is currently at schooling livery due to owners new work commitments and daughters lack of interest. Her schooling is coming along nicely now, starting to produce 3 balanced paces ready for prelim. Luna won her first dressage competition a couple of weeks ago where she behaved like an absolute gem throughout, you wouldn't have known it was her first time in the white boards.

Show jumping is a work in progress, she has popped a small course at an arena hire recently, but due to her steady nature it's not her first choice of activities! With a little more time there's no reason why she wouldn't improve.

If you are looking for a pony to have fun with, hacking, clinics, showing, riding in the forest, on the beach or have a go at hunting, Luna will make sure your time would be safe and easy.

She is good to do in all ways for anyone, including vet, farrier, dentist, bath, load (trailer or lorry), travel, clip, catch etc

Luna is barefoot, a good-doer, with no history of lami. She does have mild sweet itch that can be managed with a sweet itch rug which will come with her.
Tack included in price.

Pandora has been broken in professionally this summer and has proved to be the easiest, sweetest girl to ride.

She is hacking beautifully alone and in company, she’s seen plenty of traffic and fabulous in open spaces.

She is a great mover and definitely one for the showring. She would suit someone wanting a kind and straightforward pony for riding club activities, pony club, hacking, and working hunter classes.

As easy as she is, she is still green being a late starter, so no novices! Pandora has been introduced to arena work and poles/small fences and shows a great attitude towards her work. She is barefoot and easy to do anything with, catch box etc.

Same home since a baby so full history known and she is with us on breaking/sales livery.

We have owned George for the last 8 years, during his time with us he has competed in Dressage up to Novice level with great success winning Pet Plan Areas on multiple occasions. He has evented up to BE90 with his previous owners, he has only been used for Dressage with us.

George works beautifully on the flat and hacks alone or in company, he is very sane and sensible.

George is a very clever pony and needs a knowledgeable home with a confident/competent rider who can have plenty of fun with him.

George would be an excellent M&M/Workers prospect.

Good to shoe, box, clip etc and is easy to handle. Up to date with teeth, vacs etc. George does have an iris melanoma which is stable and easily managed.

Murffy , 14hh, cob cross

Murffy is a smart little cob with a big personality, a super low level all rounder and hack.

Confident in traffic farm machinery, stabled on a working farm. Hacks alone and in company, always snaffle mouthed. He has been on a few pleasure rides, will go at the front or back. Suits a competent rider as we have found he can sometimes spook with a novice.

On the whole he is very low mileage and has just been used as a hack. He does school really well with three good paces, though he is steady in the school he is quite forward going so wouldn’t suit a complete novice.

Loads and travels well, he’s great for the farrier and dentist, to be clipped and groomed, he loves attention is a real yard favourite.

Lives in or out, happily turns out alone. Most suits a quiet yard environment, and a calm competent rider.

Correct conformation and straight moving, open to any vetting.

A fantastic stamp of a cob with a great attitude, he is easy going and genuine without quirks, and absolutely loves people!

In the arena he is nicely forwards and supple with a lovely rhythm and balanced, expressive paces. He is established in basic lateral work. He is progressing everyday in his schooling and has a fabulous light contact.

Currently has 11 BD points at novice level and has qualified for the summer area festival 2025. He is a pleasure to take out to competitions, stands at the trailer, is well behaved in the warm up etc. Has also been out to regular clinics in indoor and outdoor arenas.

Brilliant to hack and goes out alone and in company, really good in traffic and not phased by bikes, dogs etc.

He also likes jumping and pops small jumps at home. Has been out to a couple of hound exercises just for fun which he thoroughly enjoyed and was impeccably behaved at. Doesn’t get silly or hot up in a group.

Would suit someone looking for a safe confidence giving allrounder to compete in dressage, pony club, go hunting or hacking. He really excels in dressage so it would be fantastic to see him go on to continue his dressage career with someone! Would suit an older rider or child or a para rider with more training.

Good to bath, clip, load, travel, groom, tack up and catch. Up to date with teeth, farrier, worming and vaccinations. Shod in front. No vices, lumps or bumbs.

Very reluctant sale. Please ring for more details, looking for a 5 star home for this perfect pony.

Billie-Jo is ridden in a snaffle, has 3 consistent paces and carries herself in a lovely nature. She loves her jumping and will easily pop round a course. She has also taken part in some hunts in Ireland.

Billie-Jo enjoys going out hacking and is good in traffic. She is happy to go first or last in company as well as alone.

Billie-Jo is very chilled and laid back and easily adapts to busy environments. She adores being made a fuss of and will happily stand there and let you groom or tack her up.

Billie-Jo would make a cracking pony for a rider who is willing to spend time and to put their own stamp on her.

Billie-Jo is up to date with all her vaccinations, worming, teeth and physio. She is good to shoe and clip. Billie-Jo has been seen regularly by the saddler for refits when necessary and has never experienced any issues. She passed her 5 stage vetting with flying colours in October 2024.

This is a sad sale as unfortunately the owner has outgrown her too quickly. She is a perfect fit for a confident rider looking for a rewarding partnership. Billie-Jo deserves a 5 * home with someone who can give her the love and attention she deserves.

Billie-Jo will be sold with all her rugs and tack included in the price.

This beautiful cob is such a pleasure to have around. He’s done a bit of everything. Great around kids to brush, bath, lead etc.

Drives in the busiest of traffic, loves his jumping, great in open spaces never strong or silly (snaffle mouthed).

No marks or blemishes and really well put together would excel in showing plenty of mane and feather. Hacks out alone or in company.

Nice in the school but always ridden by kids so would need tuneing up for the show ring. We’ve had him around 80/90cm courses lots of pics and videos on request. Never had laminitis or any other health issues.

He will only go to the best of homes as he’s loved by everyone. Been to the beach, pony club and lots more, he’s not fazed by anything.

Travels well, good to shoe/clip

Daisy is a perfect all rounder pony or mother daughter share and excels in all disciplines including showjumping, pony club, eventing, hunting, working hunter and hacking.

She consistently places in the top three at British showjumping competitions at 80cm with scope to go higher and has qualified for BS nationals 2024 and 2025.

Daisy loves being groomed and fussed and is very easy to handle on the ground and is eager to please. She is always 100% with any type of traffic and will hack out alone or in company. Daisy loves fun rides, cross country, stay aways and training camps and is always perfectly behaved at all outings. She would easily go on a days hunting.

Daisy is the perfect second pony for someone wanting to have some fun on, she is a forward ride but always has breaks. We have owned daisy for two years and are selling her because my daughter has sadly outgrown her.

She’s the sweetest safest pony you’ll ever come across. My daughter backed her herself when she was only 12. Since then they they have done a bit of everything together; showjumping, arena hires, shows, cross country funrides and she wasn’t fazed by any of it and took it all in her stride.

She is snaffle mouthed. She’s extremely willing on the flat and hacks alone or in company. On hacks and she will happily jump logs, canter in open spaces etc, never spooks or gets bothered by anything.

Milly is definitely more of a woah than go pony which is why she would be an excellent lead rein pony, or first pony. She has a super jump and is bold and extremely careful. She has taken my youngest daughter from leadrein at local shows to off the leadrein jumping courses by herself in 12 months. You really could put anyone on this pony and she will always look after them.

Milly loves to be fussed and pampered and will stand for hours to be groomed. She’s up to date with vaccinations, teeth etc. she’s currently bare foot but she’s perfect for the farrier, to clip, and to load. Milly truly has a heart of gold and is willing to give everything and anything a go.

She will truly be missed by us all. Only selling her due to both of my daughters outgrowing her.

Only the best of home for our special little pony!! Telford/ Shropshire based.
