We’ve owned Gary for the last 6 years and he has done everything we have asked of him.

He is well schooled with 3 balanced paces and soft in the mouth. He loves his flying changes!

He has done lots of unaffiliated dressage and pulls off a lovely test. Always in the ribbons and placed at Trailblazers with the ability to progress through the levels. Currently competing 60-70cm with scope to go higher. He loves to jump, is never strong or whizzy and isn’t bothered by fillers. Qualified for Trailblazers 2022.

He’s been to pony club camp, done workers which he loves, farm rides, beach rides and of course ice cream hacks! He is great to hack out on his own and in company, never spooky or sharp.

Perfect on the ground and always handled by children in the stable and field. Excellent with the farrier and to clip. Brilliant to load and travel in a box or trailer.

Very reluctant sale but he is sadly outgrown. Endless videos and photos available.

Experienced and loving home for this special boy please.

Pudding is a absolute super star and is only for sale to a 10* home!!!

Pudding has done a bit of everything from, fun rides, hound exercises, camps, Hunter trials etc he is a dream to own.

He is the yard favourite and will stand all day to be pampered and is always the one who everyone wants a go on!

He never refuses anything and is usually used to nanny the younger horses he’s super chilled he is such a genuine honest pony.

I trust pudding with my daughter 100% and she does everything herself he is a pleasure to own

That said he isn’t a first pony, he can be strong and cheeky at times (typical little man syndrome) but isn’t at all fast or fizzy! My daughter has learnt pretty much everything with him and he has taught her everything she knows.

He isn’t a BS pony! He would be best suited to a all round home with a confident small jockey who wants a best friend to go out and enjoy different things.

This is one of hardest decisions I have had to make and if a could I would keep him forever, my daughter is now ready to step up a level and this is a very very difficult choice for her so absolutely no time wasters!!

We have hundreds of videos and pictures available on request

*Not open to LWVTB* Renzo is a 14hh (at home measures 14.1hh) 15year old chestnut warmblood.

He would suit a competitive showjumping home or even a pony club / bit of everything.

He's show jumped recently up to 90cm though done higher at home (comfortably 1.05) and done all pony club activities.

He's amazing to handle and always well-mannered and safe in the stable.

Also proven to be brave out cross country. Goes into a lovely outline and would produce a superb dressage test.

He has had lots of hacking experience past construction and busses and lead group hacks. He will stand all day to be pampered. He is great in open spaces and has been to the gallops with a 13yo girl where he was an absolute angel.

Amazing to clip, shoe, wash and catch. Will load into lorry or trailer and will happily stand around all day at a show.

Currently stabled overnight but will live out 24/7 with a friend.

Please contact 07787 315551 for more details.

Stunning 14.2hh dressage/ working hunter

  • Bold, stylish jump, potential HOYS working hunter pony

Sadly my beautiful boy is now looking for his next long term home as I move on to horses. Beach Rua (Quilty) is extremely eye catching with 3 beautiful paces and a huge, scopey jump. He is exceptionally talented at dressage, with a proven record, and would make a super HOYS working hunter pony. A member of BD, NSEA, PC, and BE, Quilty can turn his hand to anything.

Never fizzy, strong or silly, Quilty is snaffle mouthed at all times. He happily hacks alone or in company and is safe and sensible with all types of traffic- tractors, motorbikes, lorries etc. He has done numerous beach rides, PC rallies, and stay away shows and was impeccably behaved at all times. He looks after my mum and brother who are quite nervous when they fancy hopping on for a ride, but equally can step his game up in competition.

Quilty is a pleasure to have on the yard, perfect to shoe, clip, load, catch, hack etc. On the ground he is a true gentleman; my 8 year old sister regularly handles him as he is just so polite and easy to do in all ways. He is up to date with teeth, vaccinations, worming etc. and has never been sick or sorry. He has no vices.

Due to COVID he has missed out on opportunities to showcase his full talent throughout 2020, however he has still achieved great results:

Dressage- Quilty excels at dressage with his extravagant and rhythmic paces, and has competed extremely successfully at BD Prelim and Novice consistently scoring 70%+ and having several wins at both levels. He has won nearly every BD competition he has attempted this year, is rarely out of the top 3, and is more than ready to step up to elementary. He has all the attributes to make a top BD youth/PC/RC dressage pony. Quilty qualified for the BD Petplan Area Festival Prelim Championships (winter) at Hartpury in 2021 after coming 2nd in the qualifier. At the Championships he placed 4th out of 40 with a score of 70%. He has just qualified a second time for the BD Petplan Area Festival Championships (summer) after coming a close 2nd in the qualifier. He has qualified for the NSEA Championships for dressage in 2019, 2020 (cancelled) and 2021 in both Prelim and Novice, winning the qualifiers. At the NSEA Championships 2019 he won his arena in the Prelim class with a score of 82%. Quilty has competed in several Pony Club teams at Novice, Intermediate, and Open, recently winning both the Novice and Intermediate classes with 74% and coming 2nd in the Open (which included movements such as simple changes through walk, leg yield, stretching in canter, walk pirouettes and medium paces). This means that he has qualified for the PC Area Festival of dressage next Easter. Quilty enjoys dressage and has a willing attitude when learning new movements. Training at home at Elementary/Medium level, Quilty is well established in both medium and collected paces, walk to canter, canter to walk, leg yield, shoulder in, traver, pirouettes and turn on the forehand. Recently he has been developing half pass. If not sold beforehand, Quilty is available to view at both the NSEA and BD National championships. Quilty would thrive in a dressage home.

Jumping- Quilty has a huge, powerful jump and a knack for getting the rider out of sticky situations. He is a careful and confident show jumper, easily clearing 1m+. Most recently he has qualified for the NSEA Championships in showjumping at both 85cm and 95cm after jumping 2 clears and helping the team to 2nd each time. He is ready to step up to 1m showjumping and has scope to burn even higher than this. In his first and only WH competition (this is not my passion) he placed 3rd in a big class after jumping a lovely clear around a big track. He has all the attributes to make a top Working Hunter pony in the right hands. Quilty has evented, achieving several wins at UA90, for example at Northallerton, Breckenbrough, and Epworth, and several top 10 placings in affiliated classes including a 1st at Skipton BE and a 3rd at Epworth BE. He has recently won the Pony Club Area Eventing qualifier on a score of 20.8, qualifying for the PC championships where we made the decision not to run him. He has also qualified for the NSEA Northern Eventing Championships after winning the qualifier. He consistently scores low to mid 20s in the dressage phase, and even scored a 12.8 last year. Whilst Quilty loves jumping and is not spooky at jumps, his heart doesn’t lie in eventing as he lacks confidence when out xc by himself at a new venue, and he would be more happy in a dressage or working hunter home.

Quilty has given me the best fun over the last 3 years and quickly became a family favourite. He will only go to a 5 star knowledgeable home to help him to reach his full potential. Please no complete novices as whilst he is very safe, he deserves a rider that can take him up the levels.

  • 1st Prelim NSEA National championship 2019 with a score of 82%
  • Qualified and 4th at Prelim BD winter Petplan National Championship 2021 and qualified for BD summer Petplan National Championships 2021
  • 1st PC90 Area eventing finishing on 20.8 and qualified for PC National Championships 2021

  • Beautiful dapple grey lusitano mix pony, with a special talent for jumping.

Latino is six years old and has grown up in a mixed herd in Portugal. He has been started two years ago and has now been in intensive professional training to further his education in jumping and flatwork.

We've used him in riding lessons for more experienced riders to have their first jumping lessons and he has been jumping courses of up to 1 meter with a talented teenager. He's fun and outgoing, but he's not a beginner's horse, simply because he's still young. No bad habbits, but some excurberance. He can get a little strong when excited. In less knowledgable hands, he could become pushy.

Latino likes hacking out, sensible in open space both in company and alone. Not fazed by traffic, motorcycls, tractors etc. Really enjoys swimming in the river. He would make a great allrounder for a competent light weight rider, as he's up for any new challenge.

Stands for the vet and the farrier, loading well and easy to catch. He has always been barefoot, deworming and vaccinations up to date.

Annie is only looking for a new home due to a lack of time so 5* home is essential!

She has an attitude to die for hacks out alone or in company, good to box, shoe and clip and as well as being nicely schooled absolutely loves fuss and attention.

She's been out to loads of arena hire and has taken it all in her stride and the only reason she's not been out competing is due to a lack of time she's ready to go.

With the saddest heart the day has come…… we have to offer our beloved Martin up for sale……

Soooo hear goes as honest as I can be about this Super chap!

Martin is the coolest pony, he’s been nothing but honest and willing for the time we’ve owned him (3 years) he’s seen my daughter through various pony club rallies, showjumping, cross county and has been the one to give her the bug for hunting…. Hes the most safe and level headed boy on the hunt Feild but will be up front by the masters side the whole way! Originally imported from Ireland he has all the attributes of an experience hunt pony, I’m sure he’s taken many people across the Feild behind a pack of hounds!
Hes recently took my daughter to her local pc camp where he participated in various diffrent shenanigans and did nothing but give it his all! He’s stolen the heart of every one that knows him!!

Now for the not so good part…. Martin is a older chap (17) and 5 days pc camp did take its toll on him. This time round and he went lame on his return, he returned sound after a few days but it isn’t the first time he’s had to have a day or twos rest after a strenuous activity, for this reason we feel Martin needs a home that’s considerably lower paced…. We also keep him on a good supplement (cortaflex) to keep Him happy, He still needs to be doing what he loves the jumping and getting out and about but just not at a competitive level. (Would happily take a you around 60/70 without having to rest after, he’s previously been jumping 1.20)
Martin has by the looks of his various scars had a tough life we presume his scars are through his hunting past, he did have a accident with the previous owner which left a nasty scar to his leg also altho unsightly this was superficial and didn’t cause damage to tendons or any thing.
Martin was also gelded late HOwEVER we bought Martin as a stallion and my daughter still did every thing with him from leading him to competing him, without any stallion behaviour, we only gelded him as didn’t want any accidents with our mares and wanted to be able to turned him out with the mares, every now and then he does mount the mares but swiftly gives in… too much effort, he’s never ever dangerous or stallion like….. we have found that if turned out in a mixed herd with mares he does become a bit aggressive to other males (there his girls in his eyes) so for this reason we don’t turn him out in a mixed herd. He’s happy as a pig in Poo with his girls. I cannot say what he would be like with a male if there were no mares around.

Martin is a forward going but safe boy, my daughter brings him in out of the Feild bare back in canter! She also takes him out hacking on her own (she’s 12) and I know he’s bringing her back safe! he loves life, loves cuddles, loves people. I can honestly say that he’s my daughters best friend and there is most definitely going to be tears when he goes. He’s the most genuine lad that still has a lot to give but just needs to slow down a little these days… if there was such thing as a third pony he would be it!!

He’s priced to sell as he is, I will not put him through a vetting as he’s an older pony and I wouldn’t expect him to pass a vetting through the sheer fact of him having the lameness after considerably strenuous activities I’d guess slight arthritis is setting in which is why I’d be insistent on the quieter life and supplemented feeds.

Good in every other way, I cannot fault him at all, good to shoe, bath, hack (alone and in company) load, will stand on a trailer or by a trailer with or without company all day long!
Hundreds and hundreds of videos on request!!

All we ask is that who ever is lucky enough to have Martin, keeps in touch, he means an awful lot to us and gave my daughter her confidence back after horrible accident trialing another horse, he deserves the absolute best of homes! Up todate with vaccinations, chiro, teeth,

Honest add, sorry no loans, lwvtb or trials I’ve been as honest as I can be so if there’s the slightest doubt don’t ask as it’s going to be a gut wrenching sale as it is! Thank you …. Oh and green book Connemara passported

Black Jack has been a one in a million pony for me and has given great fun and success over the past 3 and a half years. He is a stunning pony with his trademark white tail and socks. He has taken me from having never properly evented all the way up to BE100 and the BE Youth Championships.

He always produces a smart test often scoring low 30s and is working at elementary at home. He is a clever showjumper who will always sort his stride out to help where necessary. Although he has mainly evented with us, he has infrequently jumped BS with his previous owners gaining 236 BS points. He is a safe and fun ride out XC and knows his job. Any blips on his record are all down to rider error. Although he has mainly evented with us in recent years, in our first year of owning him we did lots of Pony Club and NSEA. This included the county championships, pony club camp, PC rally’s and PC grassroots championships. Black Jack is a true schoolmaster ready to teach someone the ropes of Pony Club or BE u18 and grassroots. He is very happy to come back down to 70/80cm.

He is perfectly mannered to hack alone and in company. Good to load, clip, shoe etc. Good to handle and do in the yard and loves his food!

A heartbreaking decision to sell but I am now 17 and am moving on to horses. He is too good of a pony to be on the slide lines of my other horse and A levels. The right home is essential, and will be vetted.

He will come with two made to measure saddles a bridle and a full set at boots and rugs. Lots of videos available upon request.

Tom - 14hh approx (will measure) 5yo gelding - Dumfries, Scotland

Tom arrived 23/4 and has been an absolute poppet. He is fab in the stable, to groom, tack up, muck out around, catch ect.

To ride Tom is a sweetheart (we have videos of him ridden in previous home by kids) he is straight forward and basic schooling is there.

Tom was ridden in a snaffle and a flash with our jockey but maybe would need something a bit stronger for a small child.

He isn’t for a novice as he is only 5yo so still needs to experience life and the world around him but his attitude is fantastic.

He hacked out alone not a problem, not bothered by traffic but does look at hedges ect as seen in video, again he is only 5!

In time with life experience Tom will be a pretty unbeatable kids best friend. Such a pleasure to have around.

Our wonderful pony Humbug is now sadly for sale as his rider has seriously outgrown him.  He is now 6ft plus and still growing!

Humbug is a 14.1, 17 years young, registered Connemara gelding, by Ashfield Romeo and has been with us for 4 ½ years.  He has taken our son from jumping 70cm to jumping 100cm and competed at BE, Pony Club and Riding Club during this time.  Humbug loves his jumping and is a real X country machine.  He isn’t fazed by anything, he jumps off any stride and has never had a cross country jumping fault.  He has always taken my son round the most difficult of courses.  Show Jumping he makes a lovely shape and keeps in a constant rhythm, a careful jumper and easy to manoeuvre around any course.  Although dressage is not his favourite discipline he has improved and is now consistently achieving low 30 scores.

He qualified for the PC Novice Eventing Champs 2019 winning his arena and jumping a double clear. Also jumped double clear for the PC Novice Show Jumping Area qualifier but unfortunately never made it to the National Championships due cancellation of the event.   He took his rider to Swalcliffe BRC 100  Eventing Champs coming 6th, finishing on his dressage score, also runner up at the BRC Arena Eventing Championships at Aston le Walls. During his time with us he has also successfully competed at Working Hunter, winning the M&M at the Hadleigh Show and South Suffolk,  coming 5th at the Suffolk Show.

Humbug is a forward going pony so not a first pony but would suit a child wanting to start Eventing as he loves his job so much.

Although 17 years old he has been, and still is, the soundest and easiest pony we have ever owned.   He wasn’t backed until he was nearly 6 years and has relatively low mileage for his age.  Unfortunately with the cancellation of Pony Club Champs in 2019 he didn’t get to compete for his pony club at  National Level, and with Covid last year he had a lack of competitions in 2020.  Now in 2021 with son growing a further inch this last month we have had to make the heart breaking decision that he is just too tall and needs a bigger model.

Easy to do in all ways, he is kind and loving pony with not a bad bone in his body.  He hacks alone or in company.  Good to clip, shoe, travel and never bucked, reared or spun.  Fit and ready to go.

Only 5 star home only for this much loved pony.

Can be contacted via WhatsApp.

Ruby, 9 year old, registered section C, mare.

We have made the decision not to reopen our trekking centre this year so, I’ve been applying my knowledge of what I want for a trekking/school pony and sourcing some super stars to produce and sell.

This lovely natured pony is a real sweetie. Kind and easy off the ground and a straight forward ride although she is quite responsive off leg so more suited to a more established rider. She also rides big so would be a good mother daughter share.

Although, she has mainly hacked in her previous life, she is willing in the arena and happy to trot over a pole or pop a log out hacking. Would love a home doing fun rides, beach rides and pony club etc.

Easy to do in all ways.

Make someone’s best friend.

Darcy is the perfect mother & child share! He’s 15hh, 9YO dappled Grey gelding.

He’s an absolute diamond. Imported from Ireland as a 5YO and has been in the same home for 4 years. Darcy is only for sale as the daughter is off to university now she’s turned 18.

Darcy hunts, showjumps & events. He has hunted high & low days with the Belvoir & Cottesmore since he was a 6YO. He’s been affiliated with British showjumping for 2 years with numerous double clears and placings at British Novice. He is ridden in a snaffle bit for all disciplines.

He is beautifully schooled on the flat. 3 correct rhythmical paces, holds himself well and is very balanced, with great top line.

He’s sound, fit, and currently out competing. He has a lovley canter rhythm to a fence, and is very clever to fix the stride if it’s wrong. He’s not spooky with fillers or water trays.

He hacks out alone and in company. Travels In a trailer, lorry & 3.5 ton van. He’s good to clip, shoe and groom. He’s got very good feet, he’s shod all round but happily goes barefoot behind.

He’s had the dentist every 6 months & regularly has the physio to keep him in great shape.

His flu & worming are all update and has visits twice a year from TopSpec for his weight and feeding plan

He’s used to a horse walker.

Based Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, with excellent trial facilities

Open to vetting, xrays & trainers.

By Harlequin Du Carrel out of a Connemara mare. 148cm (LHC)

Pony of a lifetime very sadly looking for new home! Tori has done everything from PC camp, field mastered out hunting (jumps anything and will give a lead over the biggest country!) team chased, to junior BS to top level, she was a HOYS fox finalist 2020, 4th winter JC final at Hickstead 2020 , 590 BS points act £1420 still JC so could have another crack at winter JC, fox second rounds next year etc.

She is looking for a new rider where she can go out and have some fun. A brave and clever pony, she would go BE with the right rider as she loves XC, flat work is all installed but might need a bit of fine tuning to be test ready again. She would teach  someone the ropes BS, she is happy to jump round a smaller track with a less experienced jockey and will teach her rider, hunt etc. safely.

Ridden currently by inexperianced 14 year old girl, who's not at show level yet. Hunted with me before her show jumping career, she jumps anything and has field mastered and trial laid. XC is is very bold and brave, would easily move up the levels BE. She is much loved!

Price reflects the fact that she's done pretty much nothing this year and therefore has a blip in her record. She could easily go back to jumping big BS tracks or has a lot to offer a rider learning round smaller tracks and bringing them on (which she did with her last rider), doing a bit of everything also for fun.

Lease with view to buy option considered. I have owned this pony since unbroken 3 year old so know her inside out and home is of paramount importance.

Fantastic 3yr old grey Connemara mare well bred by ‘Caherlistrane Bay’ with class 1 breeding throughout.

Luna has the potential to go very far in any sphere.

Well put together with fab movement and a super careful athletic jump.

Extremely talented but also has a great attitude - would make a great eventing pony WHP, SJ or Mother/Daughter share

Super easy and quiet to do, one of the most laid back young horses we’ve ever had and she really wants to be your best friend.

Backed and ridden away at the start of the year and has kept ticking along, works sweetly on the flat with a soft mouth and pops round a course of fences.

Has also seen XC fences and took everything in her stride including steps, ditches etc

Hacks alone and in company and is used to farm machinery.

Jessie is a willing and forward going pony with a very sweet, trainable attitude.

She’s got green but very easy lateral work and finds learning new things easy.

Very kind on the floor and easy to do with excellent manners. Happy to live in or out.

Brilliant to hack round roads and fields, front or last, and used to heavy farm traffic which doesn’t phase her at all.

Beautifully produced 15hh Bay 4yo Mare Lulu

Lulu is a very easy going straightforward little mare who has been produced slowly by a petite 14yo girl. Lulu is incredibly willing and turns her hoof to anything that we have asked of her and with this has been a very quick learner.

She rides beautifully in the school with a lovely snaffle mouth, never keen or strong. She is totally unfazed by any coloured fence, fillers or Rustic/Xc fences. Very honest and never refuses and goes off any stride. Lulu hacks alone or in company and is brilliant in traffic - she is great in open spaces and is happy to sit at the back or take the lead.

Although she is only 4 she has a very mature brain and is never hot, fizzy or spooky. Lulu hasn’t been over cooked for her age but also isn’t green as grass, absolutely everything has been taken at her own pace and she is progressing immensely! Lulu has been to training shows and arena eventing where she produced beautiful clear rounds.

Lulu loads, travels and stands on the box perfectly. Fantastic for farrier, dentist and recently had her first clip which she was super chilled about. Not a lot fazes this little lady and she will make the most fantastic Pc, Rc, Hunting, safe all rounder and would be a true asset to someone’s yard.

No vices what so ever to be disclosed. She has been an absolute pleasure to produce and is now looking for her forever home to continue her education.

Clean limbed, no lumps, bumps or sarcoids. Open to vetting.

Due to her age she will not be ridden by big groups of people (i.e 3 kids and extended family out for a joy ride) but open to a knowledgeable trainer. She is a very easy, push button laid back ride.

She is a push button ride, anyone’s rides and can be handled by anyone

WhatsApp for videos. Negative hoof wall.

  • She has also been xc schooled and has hunted a handful of times

It is such a hard sale to be selling this lovely pony. She has the most amazing temperament and is very trainable and willing. The only reason for her sale is that she has unfortunately been outgrown by her rider.

She moves well and has a scopey jump so this athletic mare deserves a home where she would reach her full potential as a competition pony where she would excel in any discipline.

She has competed in numerous unaffiliated dressage competitions at novice scoring in the high 70's and she's competed a little at elementary level and could easily affiliate with BD.

She has had a lot of showjump schooling and has competed in some small classes (80cm), in which she shows a lot of potential and seems to love it.

She has also been xc schooled and has hunted a handful of times. She hacks alone or in company and is happy to be at the front or the back and she isn't phased by any sort of traffic.

She is good for the farrier, handling, her only quirk is that she can sometimes be hard to load, so you just have to be patient and she will get on.

She would be suitable for a small adult, teenager or competent, confident child as she is forward going and can be spooky.

A 5* is a must, please message me on WhatsApp for more information, photos and videos.

No time wasters please.
