Belle is an eye-catching pony with three correct paces and a willing attitude to work. She enjoys having a job.

She would be well suited to a competitive showing or dressage home or someone who wants to get out and have fun. Belle has the movement, presence and type to be competitive in showing classes. Eligible for part bred Arab classes. She has attended several dressage competitions, where she has placed every time, and is sensible away from home scoring 70+ on her first outing.

She has enjoyed jumping though this has not been my main focus. Belle has also been hunting on a handful of occasions, where she behaved well in the field and jumped when asked. Has attended many lessons,clinics and pleasure rides. Good to hack out alone and in company.

She travels foot-perfect in a horsebox. She hasn’t liked trailers.

Belle is very affectionate and enjoys attention. She thrives best in a home with routine and consistent work.

Not for a novice, needs a kind, confident person.

This is a very sad sale of a pony I have owned since a three year old, and is only for sale due to other commitment leading to Belle not being ridden as often as she needs. A genuine competition prospect for the right rider.

Introducing Raspberry, a stunning 4yr old purebred Connemara mare beautifully bred. She has a leg in each corner plenty of limb and the most exquisite head.

Being only 4 she has a large frame to fill but I believe she will turn into the most beautifully put together pony. She moves straight and is clean limbed.

Shes a pleasure to be around and I’ve had her since she was 6 months old. Shes good to catch/load and with the farrier, she’s up to date with vaccinations too. No vices and lives in or out happily.

Raspberry is now riding away under saddle and is proving to be a quick learner, due to her age she requires a knowledgeable person to continue her education. Shes been lightly hacked out and is happily working away been ridden in open fields. Shes had the best start to her education and is now ready for someone to enjoy her in whatever discipline they want.

I truly believe she will turn her hoofs to anything. She moves beautifully and I think she could make a fabulous dressage pony. Equally she is a very athletic pony and I think she would also make an amazing event pony or show-jumper. And a wonderful brood mare in the future.

She truly is a very sweet mare who deserves her own person now. And I would love to see her in a lovely new home where she could have a varied life.

Esma loves to hack out and does so safely and calmly. She will happily hack alone or in company and has been exposed to the heaviest, fastest moving traffic imaginable. She is completely unphased by all vehicles and farm machinery. She remains safe and steady in all environments and does not rush or pull, even in open spaces or on the way home, you can gallop her across open fields with loose horses running along side her, then immediately pull her up and allow her to walk on a long rein or ask her to stand while horses run around her, she is most definitely not sharp, spooky or spiny.

She has been truly exceptional during her time on the riding school she is unbelievable forgiving when rider lose their Balance, struipps or have a bad stride into a fence,she always takes care of her riders, her substantial build, with a leg in each corner, combined with her calm disposition, sure footedness, and gentle nature, giving all her riders the confidence to progress and excel. She will stand patiently at the mounting block for as long as needed, without moving.

Although she is happy to go at a quiet steady pace, she is also responsive to the leg and has three beautiful balanced, steady paces. For more experienced riders, she will work into a nice outline with enthusiasm and energy. she is the most loving kind mare you could ever wish to meet. Snaffle mouth with absolutely no gadgets.

Esma has good ground manners. She stands for hours to be groomed and fussed over, with or without a headcollar or lead rope, she’s happy living in or out In the field, she keeps herself to herself and never causes trouble, she is happy stabled or turned out she is currently in a large mixed herd, stabled during the day and out at night.

Esma has a history of excellent health and has never had laminitis, sweet itch, sarcoids, or any lumps, bumps, or unsoundness. Full veterinary history, she has only had 2 owners.
She is currently barefoot with strong, healthy hooves and is equally happy to be shod. She is excellent to catch, great to load and travel, fantastic with the farrier, vet, and dentist.

She is incredibly low maintenance she maintains her condition year round on a simple diet, she is currently working 4 days a week.

She passes our riding school annual Licence Inspection, which is the equivalent of a Stage 2 vetting.

Currently standing a smidge under 15h with growing and filling out to do, Reuben is a 4 year old, registered Connemara gelding. N/N

He is an incredibly happy chap, always smiling and pleased to be involved with anything going on, he has a kind, willing temperament with plenty of character without being bolshy with it. 

Reuben arrived unbroken from Ireland in September, he was well handled and so we did a little bit of work starting him off on the groundwork pre backing, and then he went out in the field with me at home for a couple of months to relax and grow a bit. 

He came back in onto the yard about a month ago like he had never left (I think he was glad to be back out in the field with his lad mates, those mares at home certainly kept him in his place) and he has been a joy and great fun to work with as we have progressed with him. 

He is a very good boy to catch, in fact he’s always the first over and the one that gets right in the way when you are poo picking, he leads in from the field  like a good ‘un (he leads in on his own or in a bunch), he ties up patiently on the yard and adores a brush and a fuss, he picks his feet up extremely politely and is great to tack up. 

Reuben works very nicely on the long reins around the farm and has been mooching around on them in the school while others have been working, he doesn’t bat an eyelid at standing patiently while I am videoing someone else and stuff. He has been out on the XC in hand and has had a pop up and down the steps and through the water.

He is hacking out nicely, he’s very happy either leading the way, tootling along behind or riding upsides his pal, he does everything with a smile on his face. He is obviously green and wobbly at times as he has only just started his education under saddle, however he gives you a very safe feeling and is willing and forward without being sharp or too quick, you can get your leg on him and give him direction and he is very willing. He has been in the arena a handful of times as I don’t like to ‘school’ the babies too early in their careers, I feel they should be out hacking, learning and strengthening before they go round in endless circles, so the pictures of him in the arena are from the few times he has been in there.

 At the start of your ride, Reuben stands like an absolute rock at the mounting block and doesn’t move off until you ask him to and he is good to get on after he has had a couple of days off, no need for lunging or anything before you ride him. 

I have videos of him doing his first canters in the school and out hacking and he was a very good boy, no thoughts in his head of naughtiness. 

Reuben is a very correct stamp of a Connemara, he has no lumps or bumps and is good enough to show either plaited or natural and would also be a super Working Hunter stamp. 

A fabulous all round, great looking, friendly, willing package, Reubens ideal human would  be a confident, experienced person looking for a fun, willing partner who hasn’t been rushed but has all the basics in place, to bring on for all BD/Cotswold Cup/PC/RC activities and in the future, once he has learnt a little more, I’d say he will be a fabulous mother/daughter share. 

Added to all the fabulousness listed above, he is a dude to have around the yard with his cute face and outgoing person and he is, of course, a FABULOUS colour! Win win all round I say!
