This is a heartbreaking sale of our much loved 138 top track pony Sassy, (Indien Legacy) who has been in our family for 4 years. She is our daughter's best friend and I have put off writing this many times, but our daughter is off 138's at the end of the year, very tall and hopelessly outgrown.
Sassy is well bred and exceptionally talented. She's fast, quick thinking, careful, super scopey and with a huge heart. She has only ever been handled by our daughter and is polite and extremely straightforward. Sassy is completely bombproof on the busiest of roads (literally nothing phases her!), she's calm/never spooky out hacking (alone/company). She’s quiet in the field, turns out alone or in company (mares/geldings) and loves to go to the beach!

Sassy is well schooled and loves her job. She is extremely beautiful, oozing class, with the athleticism to match.

After going treble clear to take the win at Bicton and competing at HOYs Championship Final 2021, she happily stepped down for our then, 9 year old daughter. Together they’ve qualified and placed in all the 138 classes -stepping stones, Springboard, 138 Handicap, Bronze League, Cats and Pipes, 138 Winters and 138 Hoys Second rounds.
Sassy is at her prime, fit and ready to take her next little jockey to the top.

She is excellent to shoe, box, clip, bath, turn out etc

Unfortunately the time has come to find Cheeto a new jockey. He is an 11 year old 11.2hh chestnut gelding with no recorded breeding.

We have owned him for the past 2 and a half years and he is my youngest daughter’s pride and joy. She has done everything with him. He is a proper little all rounder from doing ODE, SJ, XC schooling, pony club camp, PC rallies, beach rides & the gallops. He is confident up to 60cm.

He is the character of the yard being a typical cheeky pony but is always handled and cared for by my daughter.

This is a very sad sale purely due to being outgrown and he is too good a pony and too young to become a field ornament. He is not a novice ride so definitely more of a second pony. He is very responsive to the leg and forward to ride. Not a kick along. He is not naughty just quite strong for a little pony and takes some getting used to.

He schools nicely in all 3 paces. He is great to hack alone and in company and is happy to lead the ride unfazed by traffic, sheep, tractors etc. He can also be easily led from another horse if needed and is not bothered by sticking to their side.

I also believe he has the potential to make a great driving pony.

He is currently barefoot and copes fine without shoes. His perfect to load, clip, trim, bath & groom all done by my daughters.

Up to date with jabs & teeth. No vices and comes with all tack & rugs.

Hazel has been cross-country schooling, arena hires, fun rides, and been in pony club lessons, she’s also been in our riding school lessons. She is great in open spaces will go in front or the back – not strong or silly.

She's lovely to hack and good in traffic. Forward and responsive from the leg, always in a snaffle, and will happily step up or down to suit her rider.

She’s easy to load and is lovely to handle out and about. Up to date with vaccinations and just had teeth done (wolf tooth out).

Super star all rounder pony, owned for almost 4 years since daughter was 8, sadly for sale as my daughter has outgrown him and is moving up to horses. Kind loving fun and brave gelding with an amazing attitude towards learning. Can adapt to his rider and has been a great confidence giver for my daughter.

Pony club:
Romeo has been a brilliant pony club all rounder- attending countless general rallies, group pony club rides, rallies for dressage, showjumping, Cross country, competed at areas for ODE and dressage, regionals dressage with unaffiliated showjumping. He really enjoys mounted games and gymkhanas. He has been to 3 pony camps with my daughter and behaved himself very well, doing all activities in the top group with bigger ponies. Daughter just completed C test with him.

Dressage:
Romeo is a dressage superstar! In the almost 4 years of having him he has weekly dressage training with a professional instructor and is working in a consistent elastic contact, through his back and using himself correctly. He has 3 balanced paces and is consistently placing in Prelim BD Quest with my daughter and is now working towards Novice classes. He has competed at Pony Club Areas scoring 25 at ODE, 67.5 at dressage areas, attended Regional Championships in Gloucestershire for Affiliated Dressage.

Showjumping:
Slowly and carefully produced for jumping, Romeo has taken my daughter from jumping 40-50cm at shows a year ago to 75-80cm now. He is very genuine and kind over a jump, never refuses and always helps out his rider! Regular training with PC instructor, not phased by spooky fillers. He has lots of potential as a BS pony.

Cross country:
Romeo loves this and has been regularly taken to different venues, brave with a range of jumps, logs, ditches, canters through water and jumps into water. Competed at local eventing and PC area ODE.

Hacking:
Absolutely loves hacking, bombproof, will go first or last and happy to hack out alone or in company. Always keeps daughter safe and has never been spooky since owned as a 4 year old. Great in traffic and not bothered by anything. Been exposed to tractors and farm vehicles. Daughter has had a brilliant time with friends on beach rides.

No vices, happy to live in or out, is the same ridden after a week off, great to catch (comes to you), for dentist, farrier, loading, clipping, travels well, good at shows and overnight stays. 12 year old brings in, tacks up and loads. Open to vetting, always 100% healthy, never had the vet.

Looking for an experienced five star home for this super special pony, ideally suited to a RC/PC home. He is a first to second or a second pony. Includes GFS monarch saddle (worth £1000) and le mieux work bridle.

13.2h 10 year old Bay gelding, harry is a very safe,brave and genuine pony who gives his all to his rider and does his best in everything, he’s been ridden by family and friends and been led with my small cousins on him.

He is super safe and not done anything nasty the whole time I have owned him.

He’s been to cross country and jumped ditches going through water and steps,showjumping with a range of different fences and crazy fillers and competed up to 70cm - 80 cm courses ,course hire,the beach,pony club and stayed away with me on a little holiday and has never put a hoof wrong.

Harry definitely is a pony who loves to do his job and will always try his hardest for you.

He is good to shoe,clip,load,turnout,groom and good ground manners etc.He will also hack out alone or in company and not fazed by anything.

Harry would be better suited for a competent child who doesn’t mind a bit of speed and is a confident rider as he can be quite strong when he gets excited so no novices.

This is a very hard sale as I am only selling due to outgrowing him so no time wasters.
