We have had rocky 6 years and in that time has competed in Eventing, Showjumping, Dressage and Arena Eventing competitions but has had 2 years of not competing due to my daughter bringing on her 2 youngsters and no fault of his own.

Rocky has been to pony club camps, stay away shows, national finals for dressage showjumping and arena eventing. He has been taken to championships and camps by younger riders where he has stolen hearts! He has competed up to 100cm but is most confident around 80/90.

Dougie is a part-bred Connemara gelding, who I have owned since a 4 year old. In that time we have done a bit of everything, including Pony Club Open Showjumping (Royal Windsor and qualifying PC Champs), and Intermediate Working Hunter. He has also lightly competed British Showjumping with regular wins at 90/1m.

He is exceptional to deal with on the ground - very easy to catch, clip, shoe, box etc, loves a cuddle and happy to live in or out. However, he is very quirky and sharp to ride. He needs a confident jockey who will humour his antics! He is best when kept in regular work with a good routine and sadly I cannot provide this for him, having just had my first baby.

I’m very fond of him so a great home and his happiness are my top priority. He will be a lovely friend for someone who isn’t opposed to bucking.
