Jemima 13.2hh New Forest Mare

After more than two wonderful years Jemima has very sadly been outgrown and we are now seeking a five-star, loving home for this very special pony, where she will want for nothing.

Jemima is a 17-year-old (May 2009), 13.2hh dark bay registered New Forest mare. She would make a fantastic second pony for a confident rider who enjoys a forward, fun ride.

She's a genuine all-rounder with heaps of experience at pony club, riding club, camps, stay-away shows, and family holidays. We haven't done much dressage as it's not really my sons thing, but plenty of SJ, XC, arena eventing, barrel racing, and a little mounted games etc. She has also hunted in a previous home. Jemima is happiest popping around courses of 60-75cm with great success. She will jump bigger at home but may struggle with the spreads on 80cm+ in competition (venue dependant). She doesn't need to be ridden every day and is the same whether ridden once or 5 times a week. That said, Jemima loves an active varied life and would be wasted in a field being a happy hacker at weekends.

2025 Highlights
Horsford & District Riding Club 2025 league
70cm SJ League - 2nd
Junior Barrels Fastest Run of the season
Junior Barrels - 1st
Open Game - 1st
Overall Barrel Points - 1st
Other 2025 highlights also include attending the Pony Club Barrier Animal Health Spring Festival Arena Eventing champs, also qualifying for the BRC Winter Novice SJ Champs.

2024 Highlights:

Sunshine Tour Championships (huge classes of approx 65 competitors)
Supreme Champ 50/55 - 1st & 3rd
55cm - 5th & 5th
60cm - 4th
65cm - 3rd & 9th
Supreme Champ 60/65cm - 4th
Jumped 9 rounds across the weekend - 8 were clear!

On the ground, Jemima is an absolute sweetheart; easy to catch, groom, tack up, lead, shoe (happy barefoot or shod), and she travels well in both lorry (3.5t & 7.5t) and trailer. She is equally happy to live out or be stabled. Vaccinations and dental are up to date (Jan 2026). She requires sedation for clipping and may occasionally pull a face when her girth is tightened but she has no vices, she does not rear, kick, bite, bolt or buck.

She is safe in open spaces; although keen and forward. If your child is frightened of speed she's not the pony for you! Jemima is excellent to hack both alone and in company, and is used to heavy village traffic including buses, lorries, tractors and more, making her a truly reliable partner.

She comes with her saddle, 2 bridles, and an extensive collection of rugs & boots.

Forward-going, fun second pony
Proven competition record
Never bolted or reared
Safe to hack alone/in company & traffic-proof
Happy living out or stabled
Excellent to handle and travel
Turns out with mares and geldings

£7750 including full wardrobe or sensible offer to the right home
Burgh Castle, NR31

We would love for Jemima to go to another Pony Club / Riding Club home and we will definitely want to stay in touch!
Hundreds of photos and videos available on request, plus references from instructors, Pony Club, and Riding Club.
No loans or trials unless known to us personally.

Rusty is a lovely, kind, gentle 1st pony type. Brave, not spooky, loves people, horses, dogs and knows his job. He's previously done dressage and shown successfully qualifying for and attended STARS.

We have done all pc activities, camp, hacking, lessons, farm rides. He'll have a try at anything with no fuss or bother including working equitation and horse ball. A real yard favourite that all the kids love.

Over the past 2 years Rusty has brought my son on from being a very nervous just off lead rein rider, to being an established, neat little rider, cantering in open fields and jumping small xc jumps confidently. Never spooky, nappy or strong and looks after his rider.

Great to do, a really easy pony to have around.

He has mild arthritis in right hock and I will disclose x-rays and vet history to serious enquiries. This has never been a problem and has never prevented us from being able to do anything. Managed with 1/2 danilon a day. He's never going to be a big jumping pony, his forte is being an excellent first pony to get little riders established and have fun. Could also be great for a dressage/ showing home.

Very sad sale of much loved pony.
All tack and rugs included.
No loans.

Total unicorn allrounder

  • Gelding

  • Competed upto 1m SJ
  • XC schools like a dream. Super safe and genuine
  • Won every dressage test competition he’s done

This pony is a total real life unicorn and a very rare gem indeed!

Tim came to us from Ireland as a young horse and we produced him as an allrounder. From the off he was incredibly easy, genuine, kind and lightly balanced and talented as well as being super pretty and cute.

We sold him to a small and slim young girl as her first competition pony and since she bought him 2.5 years ago he has been her best friend in every way. She has show jumped him upto 1m, been to several camps with him where he behaved impeccably and was great fun, XC schooled him on grass and arenas, and had various friends ride him of all abilities. He is forward and competition like but super safe and not at all sharp or silly. She also had him on a couple of different yards, one being a big competition venue and one being a small home yard proving he settles straight on on both.

Has competed several times at unaff dressage (prelim level & 1x novice) and has won every test with over 70% each time).

He hacks alone or in company on or off road and is super brave and confident.

He is not spooky sharp or difficult in any way and it totally easy to be fully handled by a child.

He has come back to us to find his next best friend as she has now moved onto horses. Home is extremely important.

Never seen the vet for any issue (only teeth / vaccinations and pre purchase vet when we sold him). He has never ever been lame or sustained an injury. He has a small melanoma on his tail but has been there since he was a baby and never changed. Vet has never taken any issue with this and was on his pre purchase vetting when we sold him originally. These are very common in grey Connemaras an is not at all in a problem and did not cause concern at his pre purchase 5 stage vetting which he flew through.

Viewings available with excellent trial facilities.

Would suit a second / third pony. PC / competition all rounder / grassroots eventing

Sad sale of a super jumping pony.

Harry regularly attends Pony Club, has private lessons and hacks on Dartmoor.

Fantastic jumper - happily jumping 90cm. Keen to a fence, absolutely loves his job. Forward going but with good brakes.

Doesn’t need daily riding or lots of work, happy to be left then dragged out of the field and will still be perfect.

He does have a pollen allergy, but it is well managed with a nose net, and we’ve never had any issues.

Always fit and well, totally sound with no health issues or lameness.

Happy in or out and hacks alone and in company.

Good in all ways. He can take a little encouragement to load on occasion, but it’s nothing that his favourite treat won’t fix and he gives in after a minute or so!

Lovely pony to be around, very affectionate. Happy in or out, hacks alone and in company.

We are in touch with his last two homes and we’d all like to stay in touch going forward!

Sad sale of a much loved boy who has taught my ever growing daughter so much!

Ultimate u11s Pony

Sparkie 18yo 128cm Gelding

Sparkie has been the most amazing pony for our daughter, taking her from unaffiliated right through to winning BS Winters (1m)

Together they have jumped all over the country and Sparkie has accumulated over £5000 in BS winnings .

He has been an active and valued member of the Kent academy teams, with major wins and placings including at Nationals , Welsh Home Pony , and is regularly highly placed in the Springboard classes at the pony premier shows.

The amount of confidence and belief he has given our daughter is priceless. He is snaffle mouthed, ultra competitive and turns on a sixpence and rarely beaten in a jump off, this being said he will step down for a younger and less experienced child.

He has also done all pony club activities, is bombproof to hack alone and in company , good to ride on the beach.

Extremely sound, fit and healthy , absolutely no vices. Extremely heart breaking sale of our daughters best friend , however sadly she is now too tall for him and desperately needs a 138cm

  • Safe and easy to handle on the ground and at a show
An experienced and forward-going pony with a fantastic work ethic, who loves going out and about and competing. With big, flashy paces, he presents as a young, active pony with plenty to give despite his age. Safe and straightforward to handle, he is super chilled at shows. He is not a novice ride and requires a balanced, quiet, kind rider.

A true competitive dressage pony that turns heads, he has achieved podium finishes at Area Festival Championships, Area Festivals, Riding Club Championships, and the Sunshine Tour. He has also represented at BD Youth level, competing at Inter Regionals and Home Nations. He is happiest and most competitive at Prelim/Novice level, consistently producing winning performances.

A genuine all-rounder, he can also jump and has previously competed BS. He enjoys hacking both alone and in company, travels easily, and behaves impeccably at shows and stay-aways.

He has a bony abnormality that he was born with which is non-progressive and does not affect his performance or day-to-day work – full details will be shared.

Ideal for a lightweight rider looking for a competitive BD or Riding Club partner, or simply a reliable, fun hacking buddy.

A 5 star home is the absolute priority.

Idyllic pony , green passport

Been there done it type of pony, in his early years he done lots of in hand showing and first ridden classes , active member of pony club , mounted games, horseball , rallies, XC , polework clinics ,musical rides, showing, stay away shows .

Great pony for kids to learn to ride . He will take your child from lead rein to first ridden

We bought Clive as a first ridden for my daughter who was more independently coming off the lead rein . He has been the best next step pony for her and he is just the most honest and safe pony who will look after his little rider, Has done lots of hacking around and about , goes past tractors , all farm animals , safe with dogs running around. He will step up for an older rider or down for the little rider . He prefers XC rather than showjumping , but will equally happy go over a little course with a leader , following or an older child .

Never sick or sorry, lives on fresh air, currently living out in a herd. Happy to be stabled or shelter . Loves a bath, and good for farrier , clipping he does need sedation , he has had bad previous experience from being twitched . He is good for farrier and does need a lady vet and someone who doesn’t come in and try and stick a needle in him without first giving him some fuss and treats . (Has only ever needed vaccs and teeth doing!) he loads and travels brilliantly. Has stayed out at shows , you can take him to different environments and he is just the same . He is barefoot and up to date with vaccs, worming, teeth and comes with tack (beautiful new saddle fitted ) and rugs.

He is comfortable will all farm machinery and a variety of animals! Snaffle mouthed and never strong or silly , so happy out and about hacking too and loves looking after his little riders out in open spaces . Never changes if left for a week or two and then be ridden . He can be protective of his hay and happy when left alone to eat . He will pull a face to tell you to leave him alone to eat . Never a problem for us. Great to catch .

Very calm in the stable and field, not worried about being on his own. He in his element when he attends pony club with his fellow pony friends . Active member of pony club so always out and about . He has the best character . I can honestly say he has been the best confidence giver ever and this is why we have now come to the point that my daughter would like to take the next step pony , no other reason than my daughter wants to progress from a steady boy who has given her the best confidence from that transition from lead rein . I can’t thank this pony enough for where he has got my daughter too .

Happy to answer any questions you may have , only the best home for this boy

If you’re looking for a safe confidence giving starter pony he is the best .

Please only enquire if you are actively looking for a pony.

  • A cob that loves to jump
  • Fun low level allrounder
  • Easy to handle in every way

Malcom is a super sweet natured and easy to have around.

On the flat he is responsive to your leg and has nice forward paces but is still very much more kick than pull.

He happily pops around a small course of fences including fillers. He’s never spooky. He’s a real confidence giving type.

To hack Malcom will go up the main road alone and in company, in front or behind. He’s not bothered by lorries or fast cars. He’s passed building sites with moving machinery not battering an eyelid.

For the past 3 years Malcom has been with a young girl in a pony club home. He’s been to unaffiliated shows and regularly placed. Sad sale due to school commitments and outgrown.

He’s an absolute saint for the farrier, easy to clip, load, travel, catch etc

Malcom would make someone very happy and will them with confidence.

He would make a great addition to someone’s riding school, RDA, low level all rounder or happy hacker.

Malcom is sold with a full wardrobe of rugs, bridle and fitted saddle.

  • Great to hack, loves to jump and enjoys flatwork.

Stepol Northern Dancer ‘;DANCER’, beautiful bay 14.2hh allrounder, Welsh section D mare who loves to be active. 16 years’ old and a genuine schoolmaster, she is great with children of all ages and adults alike but would thrive with a young teenager that she can help step up. She is easy to groom and tack-up with an excellent temperament, great to hack either alone or in company, is good around cars, and loves to jump up to 1m comfortably and has occasionally jumped up to 1m20 single fences. She enjoys flatwork but does not have much experience in dressage, however, would make for a beautiful dressage pony.

She is good to travel, but can sometimes be reluctant to load if she does not travel regularly or is not familiar with box/trailer. She has been to multiple farm rides, non affiliated show jumping competitions, cross country events, arena hires and gallops and has thrived in all areas. She is not strong and has exceptionally good breaks so is only ridden in a snaffle with no flash required. She was also previously part of a Pony Club at a riding school.

For the last couple of years, Dancer has generally only been ridden for non-competitive pleasure but can easily be brought back up to a competing level.

She was bought for 11-year-old daughter and has done well with her for the 5+ years we have owned her, only deciding to sell due to a change in circumstances and time commitments. Dancer is a low maintenance pony, who typically lives out from March through to the end of October with no issues. She prefers life living out and only gets brought in at night during the winter months due to requirements of the livery she is on now but would be happy to live out all year round.

She has never bucked, reared, or kicked people during our ownership, however, does experience mild crib biting after she is given treats or is in the stable for prolonged periods, no health issues relating to cribbing have been identified by her vet.

Dancer has recently attended a lame clinic at Leahurst Equine Practice as she was displaying mild lameness in her left rear hock. Mild arthritis was diagnosed and treated with a steroid injection. Leahurst have monitored progress and Dancer has since passed a follow up vet check for use as an all-rounder. Potential buyer should be aware that she may require a further steroid injection in 12-18 months. Lame clinic notes and clinical discharge notes may be provided if required.

An absolutely wonderful pony ideal for first time or experienced owners alike.
