• Looking for a new best friend for pony club. 1.5 pony due to second pony knocking confidence

We are looking for a pony for our daughter that will help her get her confidence back.

We aren’t expecting a unicorn but a pony that is kind between 13hh and 14.2hh and who will help build her confidence back up after last pony was super green and consistently reared and spun when out at XC and out hacking.

She is a quiet and light little rider (10 years old) and does a bit of everything. Happy to look at an older pony with mileage left but anything suitable over 6 years will be considered. She wants to be able to do a bit of everything from hacking out alone and being able to cross a tiny stream through to cross country at PC level and showjumping and dressage. Calm out hunting would be a bonus!

Our ponies are kept at home and want for nothing. The pony will have a home for life due to younger sibling.

Can cope with the occasional quirk but as trying to build confidence a dirty stop, bucking, rearing and bolting we would like to avoid.

Absolute familys dream pony

We purchased pheonix for our nervous daughter whom sadly stopped growing, hes been a legend an bringing her on in leaps an bounds in a short space of time

He is only ever snaffle mouthed and more of a kick along type but not a plod - he always looks after his rider

He can school very nicely into a contact if he is asked to do so or will happily go around on the buckle end depending on how hes being asked to be ridden

He is safe out hacking alone an in company and will lead a smaller sibling if needed

My daughter wouldnt go over a pole on the floor before pheonix an she has been comfortable popping around 70/80

We purchased him off some close family friends of ours an he had done alot more competitive things with her young daughter an 3 years on pony club

I cannot speak highly enough of this pony an with out a doubt first to see will buy

He is good to load / travel / clip / lives in or out / never has lami

We must mention that he does have one fault which is he very much dislikes the farrier, everything has been tried over the years with his previous owner and us an it is what it is. He can be trimmed but takes a little patience an understanding

Ponies like Pheonix do not come along every day and I have been putting off advertising him in hope my son had a growth spurt and could move up but he deserves to be out doing and giving another child lots of enjoyment

Hooray Henrik - For sale 148cm allrounder

Henrik is a super pony club/Eventing pony who has taken a novice rider up the levels giving her confidence along the way, even though he is 20 this year he still has so much to give.

He produces a lovely dressage test scoring low 30’s every time but also loves his jumping but is now ready to step down to 70-80. He always has a level head in open spaces and when out hacking whether in groups or by himself.

He has been to pony club camp, area competitions and fun rides being a pleasure to take out and compete.

He’s a true been there got the T-shirt type of pony that still has lots to give for his next partner in crime. He is perfect around kids, dogs, large machinery and farm animals which makes him a super easy pony to have around.

His only vice is that he will only travel sideways, or backwards facing but apart from that is good as gold.

Safari would suit a competent and confident teenager/ small adult.

Safari if good to clip,bath and trim (he is barefoot and has been his whole life) and is up to date with vaccinations.

Safari loved to be groomed and fussed and have attention. He can take a couple of minutes to load if not regularly going out and about however takes no more then 10 minutes with patients and a polo.

We are looking for a first pony for my granddaughter to learn the ropes on and have lots of fun with. We are ideally looking for a pony that we can take hacking. We keep our ponies on a lovely quiet DIY yard with lots of off road hacking and all year turnout( our own field with our other 2 mares).

We are open to any age or type but the pony needs to be good on the ground and enjoy being fussed/ brushed. We don't mind a pony that needs a little extra care but strictly no laminitis or ponies that need to stand in all summer, we like ponies to be ponies and spend time out grazing during winter and summer.

Happy to be in regular contact with owner and for visits anytime.

Utterly gorgeous unusually marked and coloured traditional Irish cob mare. She has the most enchanting deep blue eyes and is a total people person.

She can turn her fluffy feet to anything, from riding school lessons with complete novices to hound exercise, hacking down an A road and cantering across the wide open plain. She has beautiful conformation and whilst she is solid she isn’t a heavy clompy cob. She loves to jump and has been on fun rides, some local shows and arena hire. Equally she’s very happy to trot to a fence and gently pop over, which I find very reassuring at my age! She is careful with her feet and tries really hard to please. Would have loved to have done more but have not had transport.

She is the type you can put anyone on, my friends kids ride her bareback and mess around. Hoping to find her forever home and long term ‘family’.

She loads and travels in a trailer or lorry, she lives in or out, on any bedding and dry hay. She can be ridden every day or just as and when.

Very sad sale due to sale of livery yard and career change, unfortunately means it is time for her to find a new family.

Would prefer her to find a fairly experienced home where she will have a purpose and be kept busy, she loves attention and is too nice to be wasted in a field. Shes good to handle, loves to be groomed and bathed and just wants to be your friend.

Currently barefoot as not doing too much roadwork through winter and she has really good feet, she is good to shoe when required.

Heartbreaking sale of the most wonderful pony! Cairngorm Commando 12hh grey sec A gelding.

He has been in the family for 4 yrs, previously owned by my sister and after searching forever, I purchased him last year for my 7 year old to have fun when her pony had to unexpectedly retire. My daughter has now moved onto my sons pony so Roo now needs to go and teach another little tot to ride.

At 19yrs Roo has been there and got the t-shirt and that’s why I bought him. I needed something to give my daughter confidence jumping as he will jump anything put in front of him. Roo has previously been to hoys on the Leadrein and wow he can still move. He sits and goes and does the most beautiful show. Last summer we went to the veteran championships, winning all his classes and taking Emily into all evening performances with no work, calmers or plugs! He truly was amazing. Whilst he can move, he will go as steady or fast as the leader asks him to go. He does not mind tiny tots learning to up downs and has regularly been used for their friends to have ride on when over for play dates, all of them getting off with huge smiles on their faces.

He took Emily to pony club camp last summer off lr and I couldn’t believe it when she came back telling me everything she had jumped! He has completed all that is ever been asked of him although he can be lazy off lr and therefore isn’t a fyfr for a tiny jockey. My daughter is a capable, gusty, tight rider and they have totally clicked- she was only 7 but is a good jockey. He has a very bouncy canter and wouldn’t be suitable off lr for a novice rider.

Roo loves his jumping but can get bored flat work and wouldn’t enjoy going around and around in the same arena everyday.

He is fab to hack and not bothered by any vechicles.

He is a very mannerly pony and stands like a rock to be shod,clipped and polished for the show ring! He can be a typical cheeky pony to catch but we leave his head collar on and take treats and this hasn’t been a problem. Roo in a previous life, was badly treated and can be nervous with new people until he trusts you.

Roo is very very loved and will not go to just any home. Emily is too big on the lr and after being told the picture isn’t there by judges, Roo now needs to find a new home. We are heartbroken to be saying goodbye to this unicorn of a pony!

Homes will be throughly vetted as this pony is very special to us and owners must stay in contact with us. We have tones of photos and videos of Roo which can be sent after serious enquires!

My daughter is a quiet, polite jockey with good balance snd loves all activities from hacking to farm rides to all pony club activities. We are looking for a safe, steady pony who does not fizz up when jumping but that is happy doing the job. Ideally good to shoe/box/clip/bath/pamper etc

Age is not an issue, we love a golden oldie. Health conditions will be considered.

We have a lovely private home with other horses. Open to options of loan, lwtb and buy.
