Alfie is a 12.2 11 year old cob

We have known Alfie for the last 4 years and have good contact from where he was before. Alfie taught my daughter to ride from the age of 5 and got her ready to ride BS on her new pony. We then sold him 2 years ago and he’s just taught his latest jokey the ropes, when they tried him she couldn’t even rise to the trot. He is currently back with me to be sold to his next jokey on behalf of his current owner.

Alfie has 3 established paces. He’s more kick than pull. He is the most safest boy that you could put your child on and let go of, he literally won’t go anywhere he’s not asked.

On the yard - Alfie is the best horse to be around, will stand tied up for hours to be groomed by the children, will have all his feet picked out by them too. He is handled by children daily. Alfie can pull a face when he has his feed, he’s never done anything but we leave him be when he’s eating.

Hacking - Alfie is the best hacking pony. He won’t catch up without being asked, just plods along at the back. He is good in open spaces and is hacked along a main A road and is great with traffic. He has done pony camp hacks and beach rides too with lots of horses for company and he’s been amazing! Never gets exited or silly.

Cross Country - Alfie was put on this earth to take your children cross country for the first time, nothing bothers him. Will go up and down steps ditches, you name it he’s done it. He is just a really good boy.

Jumping - Alfie will jump up to 50cm. He really does try but isn’t the mot natural jumper. He will knock a pole. He will always get your children from the first jump to the last but if he’s taken in on a line where it shouldnt work he will always go he just may have the pole down at the same time.

Schooling - Alfie is more kick than pull. He will happily go around the outside track all day. Both children that have owned him have hd their first ever off lead rein canters on him. He will also canter on the lead rein if he’s asked.

Pony Club - Alfie has done lots of pony club rally’s. Mounted games, show jumping. You name it he’s done it. He’s also done lots of stay away shows and is great in every way.

Lead Rein - Alfie will go on the lead rein when asked and will also go on the lunge to be ridden walk and trot. He’s is super safe, but his job in life is to be a first ridden not a lead rein pony. But will equally do both jobs.

Vaccinations, farrier, teeth and physio all up to date.

All in all Alfie is the best pony in the world to start your kids off. And will always have a job teaching new kids.

Lots and lots of videos on request. Please message me on WhatsApp for these 07825685127.

We are very lucky to of stayed in contact with the owners and are gladly selling him on again. We would all like to stay in contact with his new owners when he goes also. First person to try him will buy him because he is so good.

This handsome chap is called ‘Flash’. He is a Rising 3 years old Colt of whom we’ve had from Birth. His Mum is our 13.2hh Coloured Cob Cross, and his Dad is a 14.3hh Lemon & White Cob. We put Mum in Foal in hopes to have something bigger than herself, but unfortunately Flash is not going to make the 14hh we would have liked.

Flash has been raised on our Family Smallholding and is extremely well handled.

He is currently standing 12.2/12.3hh but is still growing and very bum high. I would personally say he’s going to make 13.2hh.

Whilst he is a Colt, he is very quiet and takes everything in his stride. Nothing fazes him!

He is used to living in or out. With Mares & Geldings. He is good to load and travel, good with the Farrier (only ever been trimmed), good with the Dentist (last seen 24th April 2025), good to catch even from the biggest of Fields, will stand all day long to be groomed. Is not fazed with being washed out (even with a Jet Wash).

He’s up to date with Wormer.

He has been bitted up with a standard Snaffle. He is currently being long reined and has had tack fitted to him, and again not bothered in the slightest.

He is currently learning all via voice commands. Walk on, Stand, Trot on, Whoa, all the basics really. He has very very good manners.

Has never bitten, kicked or bucked. Honestly this Pony has no vices whatsoever.

He is going to make some little child very happy. He will make a stunning lead rein pony, first time pony, showing pony.

This is going to be an extremely hard sale and he will NOT just be going to anyone.

Please only enquire if you are genuine and NO dealers.

Videos available and viewings welcome.

Thistledown Liana
Registered 3yr old Filly standing 11.2/3hh.
Sired by Thistledown Eurostar out of Maestir Liana, her breeding is exemplary.

Owned since a yearling as we purchased her from her breeder, so her full history is known. She is extremely good to do and is a firm yard favourite. She is up to date with feet, jabs, worming and physio. The easiest pony to travel, will stand on the box all day and travels in a trailer, 3.5T and 7.5T. She is never sick or sorry and lives on fresh air. No vices, straight moving and blemish free.

She has been shown at both local and county level where she was unbeaten as a yearling and always in the top 3 as a 2 & 3 yr old. To name a couple; 1st & champion New Forest County Show, 1st & youngstock champion SCWPCA.

She walks out both alone and in company and isn’t fazed by anything. Having been stabled on a working farm, she has seen all types of vehicles from cars and tractors to mini diggers and grab lorries. She is used to cows, sheep, dogs and is the most unbothered pony you’ll ever meet.

She is reluctantly for sale as I have no young children in the family and she is far too good to be a pet sat in the field. She is now ready for the next chapter in her career.

Baron would make an ideal 1.5/2nd pony or lead rein. Baron has successfully been placed in HOYS Qualifiers, he has also won junior ridden classes with a previous owner. He's well bred and was produced by his breeders.

My daughter is very nervous having had some bad falls from a previous pony, so she has decided to take some time out of riding. We have only hacked out with him, so he is completely wasted with us. He's too nice to have as a field ornament.

His previous owners loved cantering around the moors with him. He is easy to do in all ways by my daughter catch, groom, rug up, load, fuss over etc, good with the farrier.

He has show-jumped happily up to 30/40cm with his previous owners and they said he had scope to go higher.

Baron is an itchy pony and this is reflected in his price, although I have easily managed it with a fly rug.

He is great in traffic. We live on a busy farm. He is up to date with his jabs and worming. Lives in or out happily. He's absolutely wasted with us.

  • Much-loved, talented & ready for his next adventure

Meet Stan – our gorgeous 8-year-old buckskin Welsh A gelding, who has been with us for the last 4 years as an exceptional lead rein pony.

Sadly, as my daughter looks to move off the lead, we feel she’s not quite the right match to bring him on as a first ridden, and it’s time for this special boy to find the right jockey.

  • Lead Rein Superstar + Jumping Talent
  • Been shown locally with lovely results
  • Attended 2x PC Mini Summer Camps + 2x Easter Camps
  • Done Pony Club rallies, hacking, games training
  • Bold jumper – comfortably clearing 60/70cm with ease
  • Has scope and presence to make a fab Cradle Stakes or MG pony

Recently ridden by a 6-year-old at Chard – no bucks, just a moment of hesitation when pretending to poo! Otherwise, totally genuine and admired by everyone.

Honest Notes:
He’s just started testing slightly in transitions to canter with our tiny, less experienced jockey – the odd cheeky buck/ Cow kick, nothing nasty – but too much for a petite rider still finding her seat. With a more confident, slightly older child, he would thrive.

What makes Stan special?

  • Beautiful paces and clean limbs
  • Super bold jumper
  • Brilliant to hack – alone or in company
  • Loves attention – will stand for hours to be pampered
  • Barefoot, great for farrier
  • Lives in or out, mares or geldings (but likes to be boss!)

This is a very sad sale of a true poppet, who would excel in the right home – as a last year FR, MG, hunting, or jumping pony. He has so much potential and just needs the right child to unlock it.

She is forward going but snaffle mouthed, with a nice natural outline. She is good in traffic and open spaces, pops a little pole, hacks alone or in company and loads well by children.

Temperaments like this are like gold dust, and any little person will have years of fun and games.

Sandie, rising 6 year old, approximately 31”, she is a well- marked Shetland. For what she lacks in height she makes up for with character with heaps of cute cheeky sassy personality.

I have owned Sandie for 4 years and have done a few showing shows where she has placed. She also comes out on in hand walks and runs. She has furthermore made a perfect companion for ponies and horses of all shapes and sizes.

Unfortunately i am going to University and unable to bring her. She would suit an adult home where she receives the attention she needs and be able to pursue a showing career where I’m positive she would thrive due to her flashy moves.

She’s good with the farrier for a trim, to clip and handle.

Gadlys Kaiser - 12 HH 6 year old registered Welsh section A

Sunny is a stunning section A with a typical Welsh attitude. Easy on the lead rein, but coming off Sunny would suit a confident child or small adult.

Brilliant to hack and has seen all traffic buses Lorry’s etc, is green in the school, however has been being schooled by a small adult and has been coming on leaps and bounds keen to learn.

With an older or more confident/ experienced child sunny would make a fantastic pony club pony, he has a huge jump on him and could easily be produced in this area has jumped logs happily whilst out.

Sunny was shown last year with great success, receiving excellent comments from the judges. I would love a home for him where he can get out and have fun!

Sunny is always first to the gate shouting at you to bring him in and put him to work, very happy out at shows and easy to load and travel.

Very sad sale but he’s not the right match for my daughter who’s an anxious rider and he’s totally wasted and bored sat in the field.

We have owned Pansi for 5 years. She’s a total sweetie but just a little too forward going for our little boy and we think she’s better suited as a second ridden rather than lead rein or first ridden.

Pansi has spent the past 18 months on loan to an 8/9 year old girl and during this time participated in general pony club activities (including camp and PC champs at Bicton), show jumping and working hunter up to 50cms. Pansi was regularly placed with many wins as she’s very fast against the clock. Pansi has sadly been outgrown by her loan hime and has now returned to us but we sadly don’t have a job or jockey for her.

Pansi enjoys show jumping and is really fast against the clock. She would be great as a pony club all rounder and may also make a great mounted games pony due to her speed.

Prior to being in her loan home we used Pansi as a lead rein pony for our son between 18 months to 4 years old and competed in tiny tot show jumping, gymkhana and hacking. Before we owned Pansi she was used for lead rein showing.

Pansi is never sick or sorry (and has never had laminitis), is great for the vet and farrier (she is just trimmed - no shoes), is up to date with her teeth and injections. She’s great to load and catch and loves being groomed and made a fuss of.

Pansi’s a really genuine pony with a lovely nature and is ready to be another small persons new best friend.

Honey is a 12h riding 20 year old Welsh B mare. We have had Honey for almost 4 years and during that time she has taught my daughter, and then my niece, to ride going from the very basics on lead rein to competing in dressage and show jumping. Great to hack out along or in company.

Honey is always in the ribbons and is the most genuine, trustworthy and special LRFR pony you could ask for. A true mother’s dream who knows her job and looks after her little jockey at all times. Definitely more kick than pull, Honey has the right temperament for any young one wanting to ride.

Honey has never been sick or sorry. She comes with tack (including an English Saddle Company saddle made for her) and a full wardrobe of rugs. She lives out in the day and in at night, and will stand for hours so long as she has hay. Honey loads perfectly, is great with the vet and dentist, and is a dream to clip.

Whilst we have thought about keeping Honey, the truth is we have no jockey for her and she has so much more to give and little people to teach. A good home is a priority for this gorgeous, one in a million mare . We are really looking looking for a home with a tiny jockey looking to start their riding journey, learning the basics and moving on to catering confidently or a small child wanting to do dressage. My daughter has ridden Honey in Intro tests and got scores ranging between 64 and 67.

These sorts of jobs are what Honey is best suited to and where she really excels.

Countless photos and videos available upon request. Please text 07494 141375 for more information.

Mother's dream pony - by CASCOB SILVERGHOST Exceptionally pretty, well bred, straight moving palomino 11.2hh 2019 Registered Welsh Section A with four whites he is a true genuinely safe kids pony who loves cuddles and children. Sadly outgrown after 2 1/2 years of being my daughter's best friend.

We know his entire history and are still in touch with everyone. He went to lots of county shows as a youngster and won many classes in hand. He is totally unfazed by anything and has lots of experience out at shows including Sunshine Tour last year, qualified again first time out this year, rallies, hacking etc. We bought him as a rising four year old and had him professionally backed with the Darlingtons. He then came home and my (then) 7 year old daughter hacked him for the whole summer off lead rein, cantering behind me in the woods and learnt to canter on him. Never hots up or is silly or is bothered about being left behind if I gallop off and jump fences he just carries on behind in trot no bucking or sillyness. I think he is as close to bombproof as you can expect a pony to be. My daughter has only ever fallen off him once in over two and a half years and in this time has done hacking, sponsored rides, in-hand and ridden shows and pony club rallies. He has the softest snaffle mouth and the best brakes ever.

Out hacking off the lead he is on the leg and on the lead rein he responds to voice commands, he lunges nicely to commands and pops into canter. You can leave him a month and then get on and he's no different. Hacks alone or in company. My daughter hacks him alone around our land (10acres) and I know he will always bring her back safely. In the arena off the lead rein he is quite lazy if he's not fit enough although you can walk behind with a lunge whip and pop him into trot/canter. When he is much fitter he is not so lazy in the arena and with a good little forward thinking jockey he is fine. He loves hacking and we would like him to go to an allrounder home where he will be taken out and about and not just go round in circles in the arena. He is unfazed by dogs, heavy machinery, toddlers around his feet, my daughter does everything herself with him, baths, clips, loads, tacks up, rides to and from field bareback etc. Canters him hacking bareback - lies backwards on him, stands up on him, dresses him up, you name it he really doesn't mind anything at all.

He rides and leads, would be fantastic hunting pony (he would LOVE this!) as he doesn't hot up in company and has a lovely pop. He would do brilliantly in the heritage lead rein working sports pony classes. We did a bit of lead rein with him but he was so safe my daughter then started first ridden with him. No lami/sweetitch/vices, tbh he is the easiest, sweetest, cuddliest little dude. Travels alone or in company and never sweats up, stands on the lorry at a show no problem, easy to re-load between classes and get an ice cream - which he also enjoys! Fully up to date with vacc/worming/teeth etc. He is prone to getting a little bean so he has a willy wash every six months. He lives out 24/7 and between May-October he is on restricted grazing. Never been injured/sick/sorry/blemish free.

Our ideal home would be a family home with a lovely child to cuddle him. He will not be sold to just anyone, who will ruin his mouth, or expect him to be an arena pony going in circles 24/7. We want him to go out and do pony club, lots of hacking and beach rides etc or hunt where he can get out and about and enjoy variety. My very loud and unpredictable five year old niece rides him hacking on the lead when she comes to stay as a beginner rider who flings her arms around like an aeroplane etc and he doesn't care.

This is an absolutely heartbreaking decision for us, he is my daughter's best friend and keeping in touch is really important to us to follow his journey and help my daughter (now 10) to come to terms with him going, but he can't be a field ornament as he has so much to give and he deserves to be out doing something and we have now found her next pony. We will not tolerate time-wasters, photo collectors, endless messaging, I simply don't have the time and he is too special.

We would prefer him to stay local so we could visit in the school holidays, so as close as possible to Guildford/Dorking, Surrey/Sussex area would be ideal please. We will sell him further afield but will not sell him unseen. He needs to vet you just the same (!). I will not message back to anyone answering questions like 'will he teach my 3 year old to canter' or ask anything which I have already answered in the text above.

He is priced fairly in this market and reflects his genuine disposition, quality and safety, at just above mid-fours and if this is honoured (he is worth his weight in gold) he will come with his full rug collection, bridle and saddle pad. Please message me in the first instance with what you are looking for/location. He will only go to a 10* loving knowledgeable home, if we can't find one then he will stay and babysit our new foal which he is very fond of. He is my daughter's pride and joy and best friend and owes me nothing.

Many thanks.

Jaz is a super smart pony, limited showing but has won Championships and WPCS bronze medal as a 3 year old

Champion lines on dam and sire side both ridden, WHP and in hand

Registered WPCS 4 year old homebred mare.  Thistledown Lakewood x Llanfrechfa Jolene (Pal)

Jaz is for sale as we don’t have a jockey for her and do not wish to breed.  We need to cut down on numbers so both Jaz and her 3 year old brother are for sale.

She is well handled and a joy to show in hand.  She has had a saddle and bridle on at the end of last year.

She is really good to bath, travel and stand on the lorry at a show.  She walks, stands and trots well in the ring.  Good conformation.  She is up to date with worming, teeth, vaccs and farrier.

A loving home is important for this pony as she has a very sweet nature.

Based on the North Yorks/County Durham border.

Please ring for more details.

I have had this pony since weaned. I bought him unhandled and feral.

He was introduced slowly to his new life, spending the first 12/18 months halter breaking and handling him, progressing on to daily turnout.

Then after all that training he has then been turned out to eat and grow.

He has a lovely temperament and would make a fantastic child’s pony in time or if kept entire a nice stallion.

He is from good breeding lines and has the most beautiful head.

He is fully up to date with vaccinations and feet.
