Genuine Section A LR or potential FR Thistledown mare, done half a dozen shows including 2 HOYS classes where she’s been having great pulls including a 3rd at Stoneleigh to finish joint 10th in a very very strong class of 29 in appalling weather! Also this week she’s been at the NPS to finish 6th in the M & M LR national final.

Competed in evening performances and looked after her little jockey. However she is only 5 and will need her education continuing and I don’t doubt she will go far.

Very straight forward, broken by a 4 yr old hacking nicely in traffic and done a little off the lead. However we have focused on LR classes. Handled daily by children and will either live in or out. We do think she would easily go off the lead.

Up to date with feet, vaccines and teeth

Thistledown Liana
Registered 3yr old Filly standing 11.2/3hh.
Sired by Thistledown Eurostar out of Maestir Liana, her breeding is exemplary.

Owned since a yearling as we purchased her from her breeder, so her full history is known. She is extremely good to do and is a firm yard favourite. She is up to date with feet, jabs, worming and physio. The easiest pony to travel, will stand on the box all day and travels in a trailer, 3.5T and 7.5T. She is never sick or sorry and lives on fresh air. No vices, straight moving and blemish free.

She has been shown at both local and county level where she was unbeaten as a yearling and always in the top 3 as a 2 & 3 yr old. To name a couple; 1st & champion New Forest County Show, 1st & youngstock champion SCWPCA.

She walks out both alone and in company and isn’t fazed by anything. Having been stabled on a working farm, she has seen all types of vehicles from cars and tractors to mini diggers and grab lorries. She is used to cows, sheep, dogs and is the most unbothered pony you’ll ever meet.

She is reluctantly for sale as I have no young children in the family and she is far too good to be a pet sat in the field. She is now ready for the next chapter in her career.

Baron would make an ideal 1.5/2nd pony or lead rein. Baron has successfully been placed in HOYS Qualifiers, he has also won junior ridden classes with a previous owner. He's well bred and was produced by his breeders.

My daughter is very nervous having had some bad falls from a previous pony, so she has decided to take some time out of riding. We have only hacked out with him, so he is completely wasted with us. He's too nice to have as a field ornament.

His previous owners loved cantering around the moors with him. He is easy to do in all ways by my daughter catch, groom, rug up, load, fuss over etc, good with the farrier.

He has show-jumped happily up to 30/40cm with his previous owners and they said he had scope to go higher.

Baron is an itchy pony and this is reflected in his price, although I have easily managed it with a fly rug.

He is great in traffic. We live on a busy farm. He is up to date with his jabs and worming. Lives in or out happily. He's absolutely wasted with us.

12.1hh, 9 year old, welsh part bred mare.

Bella is the perfect lead rein pony, she has been out to pony club and is a dream to hack. She is good to do in all ways and can easily be handled by children.

Bella does come off the lead rein but she is not a first ridden, she needs a confident rider as she can be difficult to get going forwards. However she will happily ride off lead out hacking and is great in heavy traffic.

Bella also has the potential to be a very good driving pony and she can be broken to drive for an additional cost.

Buddy is full of character – a little quirky, sometimes stubborn, but always loveable. He needs a confident and capable rider who can keep him focused and working otherwise he can take the mick, nothing dangerous just stubborn and occasionally naps. To hack, he’s great in company but sometimes needs reassurance if he’s on his own. As my daughter’s only 12 I’ve always been on foot and he’s been great. Brilliant with traffic but may have a look if something looks out of place. Again nothing dangerous but just needs reassurance and confidence.

That being said he is perfect as a lead rein pony – he’s calm, kind and steady for little ones and will happily follow his leader. His ideal home would be with a small child with an older sibling or a petite parent who can continue his education.

He’s a super all-rounder with heaps of potential in the right hands. He would definitely excel in the showing ring due to his dashing looks and has proven to be successful in-hand as a youngster. This is a very sad sale due to his rider having outgrown him and we have purchased her next horse.

Buddy deserves a fun, active home where he’ll be kept busy and loved. He will stand for hours with a haynet to be pampered.

Buddy prefers to be in a field with others but will settle if others are out around him.

He can be a little strong for the grass at times when leading him out, I’ve found a rope halter is more than adequate to correct this behaviour and my 12 year old is more than capable of leading him and out from the field.

Excellent to bath, groom, shoe (front feet only) and load.

Comes with saddle pads, saddle (brand new 2 years ago),bridle and rugs.

Finding Buddy the best of homes is the most important part of this sale. Not suitable for a novice unless on the lead reign. Open to vetting.

Well bred standard Shetland black gelding 41 inches (ish) hasn’t been officially measured.

Hector is 4 years old so still relatively green but has done basic work both on and off the lead rein and is showing great potential. He will make a fabulous all rounder with the looks and conformation to go far.

He has been handled daily by a very young child and has put up happily with all that it entails being loved by a little girl including the fancy dress outfits ranging from being lead by a shark to being flapped at and never offered to think of it as being anything other than normal.

Is fabulous for all the daily life tasks including travelling, feet, clipping and being stabled.

Hector has all the makings of fabulous pony and now just needs bringing on to reach his full potential would be a great Shetland grand national prospect, workers or showing or just simply a child’s best friend.

Hector has lived at home on the Isle of Man for last few years with us but is now at a yard in Cumbria.

I have altered Hectors price this is absolutely no reflection on him and is purely my confusion at the current market I thought I’d priced him fairly compared to others on the market.

Crystal is a very well mannered pony that loves to give confidence and have fun, she is safe under saddle in all 3 of her paces.

She’s well behaved and will hack out alone or in company she is safe with all traffic for example: motorbikes, cars, lorries and farm machinery.

On the ground she is safe to do anything and will stand all day long to be loved and fussed. she’s good to bath, lead, clip.

Loads and travels well too.

She would suit being a first pony as in her past she was a lead reign for a small child, she is brilliant to ride in the ménage and have someone to lead her too.

We have taken her to local shows and always coming back with ribbons, she has had her first season out hunting and she has been very sensible out with the hounds.

She has also proven to be bombproof and nothing phases her even at her age, she will stand to let you open and close gates on her, walk over tarpaulin and raised platforms etc.

She has been ridden by adults, teenagers and small children and has been very safe with all of them. You can get on her from off the floor and she will stand still and she also stands very nicely at the mountain block and won’t walk off untill you ask her too.

She is worth her weight in gold and is unfortunately for sale due to my daughter out growing her and needing something bigger to progress on.

Honey is a 12h riding 20 year old Welsh B mare. We have had Honey for almost 4 years and during that time she has taught my daughter, and then my niece, to ride going from the very basics on lead rein to competing in dressage and show jumping. Great to hack out along or in company.

Honey is always in the ribbons and is the most genuine, trustworthy and special LRFR pony you could ask for. A true mother’s dream who knows her job and looks after her little jockey at all times. Definitely more kick than pull, Honey has the right temperament for any young one wanting to ride.

Honey has never been sick or sorry. She comes with tack (including an English Saddle Company saddle made for her) and a full wardrobe of rugs. She lives out in the day and in at night, and will stand for hours so long as she has hay. Honey loads perfectly, is great with the vet and dentist, and is a dream to clip.

Whilst we have thought about keeping Honey, the truth is we have no jockey for her and she has so much more to give and little people to teach. A good home is a priority for this gorgeous, one in a million mare . We are really looking looking for a home with a tiny jockey looking to start their riding journey, learning the basics and moving on to catering confidently or a small child wanting to do dressage. My daughter has ridden Honey in Intro tests and got scores ranging between 64 and 67.

These sorts of jobs are what Honey is best suited to and where she really excels.

Countless photos and videos available upon request. Please text 07494 141375 for more information.

Mother's dream pony - by CASCOB SILVERGHOST Exceptionally pretty, well bred, straight moving palomino 11.2hh 2019 Registered Welsh Section A with four whites he is a true genuinely safe kids pony who loves cuddles and children. Sadly outgrown after 2 1/2 years of being my daughter's best friend.

We know his entire history and are still in touch with everyone. He went to lots of county shows as a youngster and won many classes in hand. He is totally unfazed by anything and has lots of experience out at shows including Sunshine Tour last year, qualified again first time out this year, rallies, hacking etc. We bought him as a rising four year old and had him professionally backed with the Darlingtons. He then came home and my (then) 7 year old daughter hacked him for the whole summer off lead rein, cantering behind me in the woods and learnt to canter on him. Never hots up or is silly or is bothered about being left behind if I gallop off and jump fences he just carries on behind in trot no bucking or sillyness. I think he is as close to bombproof as you can expect a pony to be. My daughter has only ever fallen off him once in over two and a half years and in this time has done hacking, sponsored rides, in-hand and ridden shows and pony club rallies. He has the softest snaffle mouth and the best brakes ever.

Out hacking off the lead he is on the leg and on the lead rein he responds to voice commands, he lunges nicely to commands and pops into canter. You can leave him a month and then get on and he's no different. Hacks alone or in company. My daughter hacks him alone around our land (10acres) and I know he will always bring her back safely. In the arena off the lead rein he is quite lazy if he's not fit enough although you can walk behind with a lunge whip and pop him into trot/canter. When he is much fitter he is not so lazy in the arena and with a good little forward thinking jockey he is fine. He loves hacking and we would like him to go to an allrounder home where he will be taken out and about and not just go round in circles in the arena. He is unfazed by dogs, heavy machinery, toddlers around his feet, my daughter does everything herself with him, baths, clips, loads, tacks up, rides to and from field bareback etc. Canters him hacking bareback - lies backwards on him, stands up on him, dresses him up, you name it he really doesn't mind anything at all.

He rides and leads, would be fantastic hunting pony (he would LOVE this!) as he doesn't hot up in company and has a lovely pop. He would do brilliantly in the heritage lead rein working sports pony classes. We did a bit of lead rein with him but he was so safe my daughter then started first ridden with him. No lami/sweetitch/vices, tbh he is the easiest, sweetest, cuddliest little dude. Travels alone or in company and never sweats up, stands on the lorry at a show no problem, easy to re-load between classes and get an ice cream - which he also enjoys! Fully up to date with vacc/worming/teeth etc. He is prone to getting a little bean so he has a willy wash every six months. He lives out 24/7 and between May-October he is on restricted grazing. Never been injured/sick/sorry/blemish free.

Our ideal home would be a family home with a lovely child to cuddle him. He will not be sold to just anyone, who will ruin his mouth, or expect him to be an arena pony going in circles 24/7. We want him to go out and do pony club, lots of hacking and beach rides etc or hunt where he can get out and about and enjoy variety. My very loud and unpredictable five year old niece rides him hacking on the lead when she comes to stay as a beginner rider who flings her arms around like an aeroplane etc and he doesn't care.

This is an absolutely heartbreaking decision for us, he is my daughter's best friend and keeping in touch is really important to us to follow his journey and help my daughter (now 10) to come to terms with him going, but he can't be a field ornament as he has so much to give and he deserves to be out doing something and we have now found her next pony. We will not tolerate time-wasters, photo collectors, endless messaging, I simply don't have the time and he is too special.

We would prefer him to stay local so we could visit in the school holidays, so as close as possible to Guildford/Dorking, Surrey/Sussex area would be ideal please. We will sell him further afield but will not sell him unseen. He needs to vet you just the same (!). I will not message back to anyone answering questions like 'will he teach my 3 year old to canter' or ask anything which I have already answered in the text above.

He is priced fairly in this market and reflects his genuine disposition, quality and safety, at just above mid-fours and if this is honoured (he is worth his weight in gold) he will come with his full rug collection, bridle and saddle pad. Please message me in the first instance with what you are looking for/location. He will only go to a 10* loving knowledgeable home, if we can't find one then he will stay and babysit our new foal which he is very fond of. He is my daughter's pride and joy and best friend and owes me nothing.

Many thanks.

We have owned Bobby for 15 months and prior to this he was in a riding school for 11 years. In the riding school he was used for all ages and abilities from lead rein to intermediate teens.

My daughter was 7 when we got him and still on lead rein and she has learnt how to ride off lead, to jump and to canter on Bobby. We have taken him to lots of Pony Club training sessions, rallies, PC camp and shows. My daughter has competed him in 3 lead rein hunter/eventer trials and he won all 3 classes in the 30cm and 40cm lead rein. He is very careful over a jump and will very rarely knock a pole. Not worried by fillers or rustic fences. Will happily stand on the trailer or tied up at a show.

He is fantastic on the lead rein and off lead ridden alone by my daughter but when in a group he needs a more confident and experienced rider to get the best out of him (otherwise he can nap to the other ponies). Over the past few months he has been ridden and competed by a young teenager and jumped up to 70cm (was jumping higher in the riding school). He would make a fabulous second pony for a confident young rider. Hacks well in company and isn't worried about farm machinery, dogs etc.

Will happily live in or out, turned out with mares or geldings and fine to be left out alone. Good to catch, groom and bath. Good for vet and farrier (currently unshod as we took his shoes off when we got him). Loads and travels well in trailer and has travelled in lorry previously at the riding school.

Up to date with vaccinations, teeth and worming. No health issues.

Price includes bridle and rugs.

14 year old Welsh Section A 12hh ex-broodmare has been professionally backed over the last two months.

She has been schooled in basic aids but obviously still green (~8 weeks under saddle) but confidently walking and trotting with small adult and junior riders.

Happily hacking out off lead and good in traffic. She is Perlino (not grey) and fully up to date with everything (teeth, farrier, vaccinations etc).

4 equal whites and a blaze.

Previously bred two exceptional foals (one colt and one filly).

WPB gelding on a green passport.

We have owned Alfie for Four amazing years and he has literally been her best friend and given her the confidence and opportunity to fly.He has so very sadly been completely outgrown.

They have done everything together! pony club rallies, camp ,cross country, Pc teams, one day events, show jumping, stay away shows, first ridden, working hunter, ridden m&m's, dressage and fun showing, been to the beach all whilst behaving impeccably ,politely, mannerly and always with a smile on his face.

Always ridden in a snaffle, even winning the pony club pony award!!

My daughter does everything herself independently.

Good to catch, groom, tack up, load, bath etc.
always travels and loads perfectly ,happy to be left on the trailer at shows, always in the ribbons, jumps everything.Never been sick or sorry and up to date with vaccinations etc.

Perfect to clip, for the farrier and dentist.

He is fit and ready to go and find his new best friend. He will genuinely step up or down depending on his rider, will get any child riding independently and confidently, hes unfazed by unbalanced mishaps and would always try his best.
this pony is honestly one in a million and worth his weight in gold.

If you are genuinely looking for a safe, tried and tested superstar then you won't be disappointed , but please only the very best of homes and absolutely no time wasters as this is so very sad and a very much loved pony.

Pretty registered Welsh Sec. A mare. Has been a super lead rein for daughter’s first pony. Will happily stand for children to groom and play with in and out of the stable.

Up to date on vaccinations/farrier etc. With work would be lovely ride off the lead rein with a more experienced rider.

Has lots of potential for pony club and local shows with the right hands.

She enjoys her work and hacking around the fields/forest. Will live in or out.

Sadly only for sale as daughter is not interested and no longer riding. Needs to go to a lovely home where she will loved.

welsh b gelding 4 years, just being professionally broken and taken to it like a duck to water, proving safe and sensible.
a future star who I'm sure would excel in any sphere, showing, jumping, dressage, whp etc Zak has been lightly shown inhand as a 2 & 3 yr old, with good results including 3rd GYS 2024.

He is lovely sweet kind pony with a good temperament and character. Flashy looks, good conformation and a lovely straight trot. He has good bone and is deep bodied, Been measured at just under 12.2hh he will make the perfect FR, Junior and m&m worker/whp.

He is good to bath, load, catch, trim and with dentist etc vacs upto date, loves routine.

Video below was first time loose schooled over a fence, so has potential in this area, no surprise being related to the top jumping pony bunbury conquest. Im in no rush , so no timewasters and homes will be vetted.
Experienced and knowledgeable home only to bring out his potential.
Message me for mobile as will not go back and forth on messenger.
