Danny is a 4-year-old purebred Connemara gelding, standing at a solid and correct 14.2hh. He is a Class 1 and bred to success. His Sire is Prince of Clooneen, his dam is by Leág x Thunderball. Danny is the kind of pony that’s hard to find – combining traditional looks with a fantastic brain and temperament. He’s the old-fashioned “leg in each corner” type, well put together, and full of quality. With his intelligent expression and wise, steady nature, he’s often described as having an “old head on young shoulders.”

Valerie is the sort of pony that turns heads wherever she goes and impresses with both her ability and her temperament.

Valerie is suitable for a variety of riders – from a confident novice to someone looking to produce a top-class competition or working hunter pony. She would make a fantastic mother-daughter share, and she’s kind and uncomplicated enough for a riding school environment, yet talented and forward-thinking enough for a competitive home. She has a genuine nature, takes everything in her stride, and learns quickly.

Under saddle, Valerie is light in the hand, rides with a soft mouth, and naturally works into a lovely outline. Valerie is also a joy to hack, both alone and in company. She’s completely reliable in traffic, including farm machinery, and is happy in open spaces without getting silly. She’s easy to catch, shoe, load, and handle in every way.
