• Milly is a 12.2hh 5 year old skewbald cob mare.
• She is an absolute dream pony.
• We have owned Milly for two years.

She’s the sweetest safest pony you’ll ever come across. My daughter backed her herself when she was only 12. Since then they they have done a bit of everything together; showjumping, arena hires, shows, cross country funrides and she wasn’t fazed by any of it and took it all in her stride.

She is snaffle mouthed. She’s extremely willing on the flat and hacks alone or in company. On hacks and she will happily jump logs, canter in open spaces etc, never spooks or gets bothered by anything.

Milly is definitely more of a woah than go pony which is why she would be an excellent lead rein pony, or first pony. She has a super jump and is bold and extremely careful. She has taken my youngest daughter from leadrein at local shows to off the leadrein jumping courses by herself in 12 months. You really could put anyone on this pony and she will always look after them.

Milly loves to be fussed and pampered and will stand for hours to be groomed. She’s up to date with vaccinations, teeth etc. she’s currently bare foot but she’s perfect for the farrier, to clip, and to load. Milly truly has a heart of gold and is willing to give everything and anything a go. She will truly be missed by us all. Only selling her due to both of my daughters outgrowing her. Gambit was bought as a first pony for our daughter aged 9 (now 12) and has taught her how to ride and more importantly given her a love of horses and a confidence and happiness that only a bond with a pony can give. From day 1 she has looked after him herself - he is really easy to do and very kind in the stable. We go to the beach a lot, ride on open moorland and hills and go to pony club rallies / camps and various NSEA competitions. He competes comfortably from 60 cm to 75 cm and regularly jumps 80-90 with the occasional 1m at home. He is able to make tight turns in a jump off and is much loved at home, PC and on our school equestrian yard.

He loves hunting, XC, showjumping, Tetrathlon, gymkhana and hacking out. He is always keen and never mean, but is definitely a second pony as is forward going. He is always happy to go and do something – we make up random things to do and to jump all the time. Great in every way - load, travel, catch (no headcollar needed), shoe, clip and safe with traffic, loud machinery, dogs and farm animals. He suits a confident and capable rider that loves to jump. He is so patient and sweet natured and will happily stand for ages if you want to give him fuss and attention .

Jumped clear at NSEA Grassroots at Hickstead 2024 in both Team 50 and 60cm, and within 0.49 second of optimum time. Can ride and lead or be led. His wonderful temperament (regularly gets ridden backwards, jumped bareback or with no reins or no stirrups etc) is not to be missed – he doesn’t have a bad bone. He has been featured on front cover of Pony Magazine and has a Prophet’s thumbprint. He is fast - our Head PC instructor thinks he would be brilliant at pony racing - we have only played at home with this and it was going to be the next thing we tried with him.

The only thing we haven’t done is much dressage as it’s not my daughter’s interest. Sad sale as the whole family adore him but my daughter is very tall for her age and has outgrown him. Vices - He doesn’t like his one ear being touched, can be a little sensitive and he can pace at a hunt meet or in a stable if bored.

Flex is a 5 year old unregistered Connemara cross, gelding, standing at 14.3hh (slightly bum high).

I have owned him since he was 18 months old, he was professionally backed as a 3 year old and is a real genuine fun horse! He loves hacking, in front or behind, he has seen heavy traffic, open spaces, cattle, road works etc. He has hacked alone but mainly with others. We have been on days out in the lorry for hacks away from home, a clear round evening, a horse agility day and a riding holiday. He is still green in the school but never naughty or nasty.

Genuine sale as Flex has not grown big enough for me and I would love to find him a shorter rider with a forever home (I am 5’8ft). Comes to call, good with the farrier, never been clipped. To be sold with some tack and a wardrobe of rugs!

Home will be vetted, and I would love to stay in touch with this special horse.

KEV - bought as a 3 year old by us and professionally broken - we have made sure we have given him the best start to his life. He has been around children, dogs, yard machinery and lives out with our other geldings. He is a pleasure to have on the yard and really is no bother to have around.

He is ridden by children and knows all the basics and will jump round a small course, is safe in open fields and enjoys a good canter around the fields (isn’t bothered if he’s left behind), enjoys a lovely hack and we really want him to find a family who love him like we do.

He has enjoyed arena hires, pony days with a group of ponies which he has behaved so well for and we feel now is the time for him to go out and live his life! Home is so important as we have ensured he has had the best start to his education and we feel he would really thrive in the right home who will take their time with him like we have and understand as he’s 6 there will be things in the world he hasn’t seen yet and he still has to learn.

He is a quick learner and thrives off attention and praise which we have loved hense keeping him so many years and this decision being so hard. He is up together and ready to go for a summer of fun and would be a great pony for pony club as we think he would really enjoy this!

Ozzie is a gem of a pony. He is excellent to look after and do and does a bit everything in a lovely way.

He acts as the nanny to take the younger horses out hacking, sane and sensible in traffic or round the fields.

Snaffle mouthed for all, you can go for a canter in front or behind friends and stop when you want.

He does a sweet dressage test and has a great pop. He can be spooky to jump and would need a rider who is confident with jumping to get the best from him in this phase.

A kind and gorgeous person, he will be someone’s best friend.
