14 year old owners words; Freddie has been with me for over 3 years, I bought him as a 5 year old with not much experience. He was not handled at all in his first home and was given to my yard as a rescue, I fell in love with him and I bought him as my first pony.

I have explored jumping and he has found love for it and has so much potential. He has jumped 80 cm with a rider and can go up to 1m free schooling with much potential to go higher. He is great to groom, tack up and to be handled overall.

This is a very sad sale and has been put off for a while but I am growing out of him and feel that I need to move on. He is such a sweet and genuine pony and definitely knows how to have fun. I want him to go to the best home with an experienced rider that can have a great time with him.

It has mostly been me riding him, however other people have ridden him at times and he has been amazing. He loves to be ridden and exercised frequently but he can go a week without being ridden and will be totally fine when you get back to work. Freddie has his mishaps but will never cause any harm he just has a very busy brain and can be spooky sometimes.

He is out overnight in summer and in overnight in winter and is fine to catch. Our yard is a very busy yard with lots of horses in his field and many people around. He is great to hack and loves to have a canter! He doesn't have shoes and is trimmed by the farrier. I have never had any sort of medical issues at all with Freddie.

I haven't done much loading with him but with practice and patience hopefully he will happily load. He has little experience of loading.

I'm very sad to sell my first pony and I want the best home for him. He needs someone with patience and is and experienced rider for a forward young minded pony.

For sale - I am very sad to have to offer our beautiful pony, Kiwi, for sale. This is through no fault of her own.

We purchased Kiwi for my daughter, and unfortunately, I just don't have the time to give, to help her reach her full potential.

Kiwi has been with us since September 2024 and is a beautifully marked piebald, cob, with full feathers and a dreamy long mane. She stands at around 12.2 and is about 7 years old (passported but no year stated - aged by dentist).

All vaccines, farrier, dentist and worming up to date.

Kiwi loves a hack; she is not a spooky pony and is great in traffic. She loves to pop a jump and is more go then woah.

She lives off fresh air. Is barefoot. Lives in or out. Good to catch and loads amazingly alone or in company.

Fantastic for the farrier and dentist. She is very easy to keep.

We currently have Kiwi with our 23 year old gelding with no problems.

Would suit a more confident rider as she is a 1.5/2nd, but very safe. Has never bucked or reared.

Please, no time wasters. More videos and photos can be sent.

Very good on the lead rein, but ideal as a second pony for a child to have fun on.

Baron would make an ideal 1.5/2nd pony or lead rein. Baron has successfully been placed in HOYS Qualifiers, he has also won junior ridden classes with a previous owner. He's well bred and was produced by his breeders.

My daughter is very nervous having had some bad falls from a previous pony, so she has decided to take some time out of riding. We have only hacked out with him, so he is completely wasted with us. He's too nice to have as a field ornament.

His previous owners loved cantering around the moors with him. He is easy to do in all ways by my daughter catch, groom, rug up, load, fuss over etc, good with the farrier.

He has show-jumped happily up to 30/40cm with his previous owners and they said he had scope to go higher.

Baron is an itchy pony and this is reflected in his price, although I have easily managed it with a fly rug.

He is great in traffic. We live on a busy farm. He is up to date with his jabs and worming. Lives in or out happily. He's absolutely wasted with us.

Schoolmaster seeking a new job in life

  • Beautifully schooled, light in hand
  • Hacks alone or in company
  • No vices, lovely pony to do in every way
We have made the decision to find a new family for our pony to be treasured. He is the loveliest, easiest, kindest pony that deserves a new job within showing or dressage, to go on and win lots of rosettes.

He schools beautifully, very easy. He is very attractive, getting a lot of attention. He moves well, and would definitely succeed in the dressage or showing ring with an adult or junior rider. He rides like a mini horse, doesn’t feel pony like at all. He has his 138 JMB life height certificate, but he is more like 14h.

He hacks with no problems, alone and in company. Fine in open spaces, going through sheep fields, not at all fizzy, strong or silly. Happy in a group or on his own. He loves XC and would definitely hunt.

He has been a showjumping pony, and has had a lot of success, but he has lost the love for this now and dried up in the showjumping ring. Nothing nasty at all, jumps at home, in training, clinics etc. but we are not selling as a showjumping pony, we want him to go on and succeed in a new job.

We have owned him for three years, and is fit and ready for the season ahead. Everything up to date, no vices ridden or in stable. Travels brilliantly, loads himself more or less. Great to clip-very easy pony.

Sad sale, but we showjump, and it is not fair to keep him doing something he clearly doesn’t want to do anymore. He deserves to be someone’s number one. We are going to do some dressage and showing over the forthcoming weeks, to get some experience under his belt-confident he’ll shine.

Would consider lease, then l can have him back, and we could try again-he is so special. It is such a shame, such a talented pony.

Price includes made to measure saddle.

14.1hh Super friendly and eye catching Percheron / Connie gelding 3yrs.

Blue has been broken and ridden away, he is hacking on busy roads proving brave and bold in traffic, totally unflappable in a busy village with plenty going on!

He loves going out for rides and is learning to be forward off the aids, he is a really happy, sweet, affectionate little horse who just wants to be everyone’s friend!

He has just started hacking on his own and he has proven keen, and willing!

He is young but could really be someone’s best friend and I have loved breaking him in, he came with minimal groundwork and he has taken every step of learning totally in his stride!

We are looking for someone to continue his education, he is great to handle, catch, trim and has been in a horse box.

I am confident he will succeed in whatever capacity someone wants has his attitude is second to none.

Sadly for sale due to lack of rider at home.

  • Sad sale of a Lovely Pony

It is with a heavy heart that this lovely pony is for sale.

Piggy has been part of our family for 2 years giving my now 15yr old daughter the most enjoyable and happy 2 years.

Piggy loves her job and enjoys all disciplines. She has successfully taken my daughter around many unaffiliated SJ competitions normally always bringing home a rosette and qualifying for the sunshine tour at Hickstead.

She’s a very genuine jumper and will do what is asked of her depending on the level of the rider. In her past she has competed at POYS.

She has also enjoyed many sponsored rides and has enjoyed some XC.

Piggy prefers to hack in company and has been out for several hours with my daughter enjoying and exploring the countryside.

Sadly piggy is now outgrown and we need to find her a new home where she will be loved and can continue enjoying her job being a fabulous pony.

Rosa Is so sadly outgrown and now looking for her new family to love her as much as we have.

She is a brilliant and safe hunter, having done many days out with the Cranwell Bloodhounds.

She is also a seasoned pony clubber, having done rallies, comps and attended camp twice being awesome in every way for the duration.

Rosa is a forward going ride, she wouldn’t be suitable for a nervous or novice rider. She is snaffle mouthed at all times. Never nasty or silly and doesn’t buck, rear, bronk, spin.

Great to hack, often going out bareback and alone in heavy traffic.

Sadly Rosa isn’t the biggest fan of jumping. She will happily follow out hunting over anything and will pop some fences in the arena but does lack some confidence. She wouldn’t be happy in a full showjumping home.

Rosa is good to do on the yard, box, clip, trim, bath. Comes with tack.

Sandie, rising 6 year old, approximately 31”, she is a well- marked Shetland. For what she lacks in height she makes up for with character with heaps of cute cheeky sassy personality.

I have owned Sandie for 4 years and have done a few showing shows where she has placed. She also comes out on in hand walks and runs. She has furthermore made a perfect companion for ponies and horses of all shapes and sizes.

Unfortunately i am going to University and unable to bring her. She would suit an adult home where she receives the attention she needs and be able to pursue a showing career where I’m positive she would thrive due to her flashy moves.

She’s good with the farrier for a trim, to clip and handle.

  • Perfect as a lead rein pony – he’s calm, kind and steady for little ones
  • Super all-rounder with heaps of potential
Buddy is full of character – a little quirky, sometimes stubborn, but always loveable. He needs a confident and capable rider who can keep him focused and working otherwise he can take the mick, nothing dangerous just stubborn and occasionally naps. To hack, he’s great in company but sometimes needs reassurance if he’s on his own. As my daughter’s only 12 I’ve always been on foot and he’s been great. Brilliant with traffic but may have a look if something looks out of place. Again nothing dangerous but just needs reassurance and confidence.

That being said he is perfect as a lead rein pony – he’s calm, kind and steady for little ones and will happily follow his leader. His ideal home would be with a small child with an older sibling or a petite parent who can continue his education.

He’s a super all-rounder with heaps of potential in the right hands. He would definitely excel in the showing ring due to his dashing looks and has proven to be successful in-hand as a youngster. This is a very sad sale due to his rider having outgrown him and we have purchased her next horse.

Buddy deserves a fun, active home where he’ll be kept busy and loved. He will stand for hours with a haynet to be pampered.

Buddy prefers to be in a field with others but will settle if others are out around him.

He can be a little strong for the grass at times when leading him out, I’ve found a rope halter is more than adequate to correct this behaviour and my 12 year old is more than capable of leading him and out from the field.

Excellent to bath, groom, shoe (front feet only) and load.

Comes with saddle pads, saddle (brand new 2 years ago),bridle and rugs.

Finding Buddy the best of homes is the most important part of this sale. Not suitable for a novice unless on the lead reign. Open to vetting.

Lots of photos and videos available via WhatsApp.

Well bred standard Shetland black gelding 41 inches (ish) hasn’t been officially measured.

Hector is 4 years old so still relatively green but has done basic work both on and off the lead rein and is showing great potential. He will make a fabulous all rounder with the looks and conformation to go far.

He has been handled daily by a very young child and has put up happily with all that it entails being loved by a little girl including the fancy dress outfits ranging from being lead by a shark to being flapped at and never offered to think of it as being anything other than normal.

Is fabulous for all the daily life tasks including travelling, feet, clipping and being stabled.

Hector has all the makings of fabulous pony and now just needs bringing on to reach his full potential would be a great Shetland grand national prospect, workers or showing or just simply a child’s best friend.

Hector has lived at home on the Isle of Man for last few years with us but is now at a yard in Cumbria.

I have altered Hectors price this is absolutely no reflection on him and is purely my confusion at the current market I thought I’d priced him fairly compared to others on the market.

13.1 8yo Welsh x Cob pony - Super Allrounder

We have owned Fred for 4 years and he is only for sale due to being outgrown by my 14 yo daughter, who has now moved up to horses. We have had him since he was 3 ½ and green as a cucumber. Full history known – never sick, nor sorry and now a very well rounded, brave, honest and loyal pony.
Fred is an amazing pony, full of character as you would expect from a Welshy Cob cross – he follows my daughter around like a large ginger labrador. I would say he is best suited to an experienced novice or even a petite adult (my daughter is 5’ 6” and still comfortably rides him). He is a real chunk of a pony, so takes the leg well. He would make a perfect lead rein/ first pony but would be totally wasted – but ideal for younger siblings to learn on though.
Fred has done pretty much everything with us – jumping, cross country, hacking, canter tracks, basic dressage tests, clinics, equine archery, working equitation – he’ll try anything. The only thing we haven’t done is showing, simply because it’s not our thing – but everywhere he goes we are told we should show him – he certainly has the looks for it! In the right hands he would do really well in dressage too. He will school all day long and loves it when you change it up a bit with poles or barrels.
His favourite has to be jumping and has competed up to 70cm (plenty of ribbons) – he has jumped over a metre in the school with ease. You can literally turn him loose in the school and he will jump all on his own. My daughter even jumps and schools him bare back in just a head collar. He is very brave and honest and always tries his best no matter what you put in front of him. When we took him to our local XC course, on grass for the first time, he jumped everything first time without hesitation – like a pro!
Fully up to date with vaccinations, had farrier every 8 weeks (bare foot), teeth (done yearly) and wormers, physio visits every 8 weeks (very spoilt pony but he deserves it).
Fred is straightforward to ride and has been ridden by children and adults, from 5 to 35, with different riding abilities from novice to advanced. Fred is happy to plod around the school or on hacks, but he will step it up for the more advanced rider - he loves his job. He does need an experienced home though, he is such a kind sole, but he is strong - so no first timers please.
He loves a fuss and is good to shoe / groom/ bath / tack up - he can fidget a bit but just needs to be told. He has only ever been clipped once; he was good as gold – just stick a Lickit in front of his nose and he will do anything for you.
Currently turned out during the day with a mixed herd and stabled at night. He has previously been in both single and paired turn out and was perfectly happy. Easy to catch from the field. He has impeccable stable manners and is very clean (so easy to muck out!). He can be a bossy little git in the field, until he learns his place (but he is part Welshy after all).

Like new Kent & Masters (PC long leg version - 2yo) saddle, bridle and rugs AVAILABLE BY SEPARATE NEGOTIATION.

Fred will ONLY go to a true 5* experienced private home where he will stay for life – either as a family pony to be passed down or an adult rider. I will not sell him to just be passed on again and again every couple of years – sorry. It goes without saying we would like to stay in touch.
Please no time wasters, definitely no dealers and only get in touch if he is within your budget and you can give him a loving, experienced, lifelong home – home is far more important than price (within reason). Potential homes will be vetted.
Please feel free to What’s App me to ask any questions or for more pics/videos (we have thousands!!!).

Gadlys Kaiser - 12 HH 6 year old registered Welsh section A

Sunny is a stunning section A with a typical Welsh attitude. Easy on the lead rein, but coming off Sunny would suit a confident child or small adult.

Brilliant to hack and has seen all traffic buses Lorry’s etc, is green in the school, however has been being schooled by a small adult and has been coming on leaps and bounds keen to learn.

With an older or more confident/ experienced child sunny would make a fantastic pony club pony, he has a huge jump on him and could easily be produced in this area has jumped logs happily whilst out.

Sunny was shown last year with great success, receiving excellent comments from the judges. I would love a home for him where he can get out and have fun!

Sunny is always first to the gate shouting at you to bring him in and put him to work, very happy out at shows and easy to load and travel.

Very sad sale but he’s not the right match for my daughter who’s an anxious rider and he’s totally wasted and bored sat in the field.

Low maintenance - bare foot with very good feet, happy living out and lives of fresh air. Never had laminitis, just seen dentist. comes with full wardrobe and fitted tack.

Really needs his own little person to have fun with.
