14 year old owners words; Freddie has been with me for over 3 years, I bought him as a 5 year old with not much experience. He was not handled at all in his first home and was given to my yard as a rescue, I fell in love with him and I bought him as my first pony.

I have explored jumping and he has found love for it and has so much potential. He has jumped 80 cm with a rider and can go up to 1m free schooling with much potential to go higher. He is great to groom, tack up and to be handled overall.

This is a very sad sale and has been put off for a while but I am growing out of him and feel that I need to move on. He is such a sweet and genuine pony and definitely knows how to have fun. I want him to go to the best home with an experienced rider that can have a great time with him.

It has mostly been me riding him, however other people have ridden him at times and he has been amazing. He loves to be ridden and exercised frequently but he can go a week without being ridden and will be totally fine when you get back to work. Freddie has his mishaps but will never cause any harm he just has a very busy brain and can be spooky sometimes.

He is out overnight in summer and in overnight in winter and is fine to catch. Our yard is a very busy yard with lots of horses in his field and many people around. He is great to hack and loves to have a canter! He doesn't have shoes and is trimmed by the farrier. I have never had any sort of medical issues at all with Freddie.

I haven't done much loading with him but with practice and patience hopefully he will happily load. He has little experience of loading.

I'm very sad to sell my first pony and I want the best home for him. He needs someone with patience and is and experienced rider for a forward young minded pony.

For sale - I am very sad to have to offer our beautiful pony, Kiwi, for sale. This is through no fault of her own.

We purchased Kiwi for my daughter, and unfortunately, I just don't have the time to give, to help her reach her full potential.

Kiwi has been with us since September 2024 and is a beautifully marked piebald, cob, with full feathers and a dreamy long mane. She stands at around 12.2 and is about 7 years old (passported but no year stated - aged by dentist).

All vaccines, farrier, dentist and worming up to date.

Kiwi loves a hack; she is not a spooky pony and is great in traffic. She loves to pop a jump and is more go then woah.

She lives off fresh air. Is barefoot. Lives in or out. Good to catch and loads amazingly alone or in company.

Fantastic for the farrier and dentist. She is very easy to keep.

We currently have Kiwi with our 23 year old gelding with no problems.

Would suit a more confident rider as she is a 1.5/2nd, but very safe. Has never bucked or reared.

Please, no time wasters. More videos and photos can be sent.

Approx 12hh Registered Welsh Section A gelding, 16 years old. Heartbreaking sale of my daughter’s best friend.

Casper has been a brilliant first pony for my daughter. He’s taken her from a very timid lead rein jockey, to cantering confidently around open fields and competing at a variety of local events. He has given her all her first riding experiences off the yard - clinics, Working Hunter, SJ, mini HT and XC and a very memorable ride with friends around Somerford Park farm ride - jumping everything in their path.

Calm and sensible when out and about, he doesn’t get lit up in open spaces or on group rides. Happy in busy practice rings and falls asleep ringside between classes - he won’t stand alone on the trailer, but this has never affected us as he’s so easy at a show.

He’s been ridden bareback, vaulted on, dressed in tinsel, bells, flowers (and as a lion in his previous home!) and hasn’t batted an eyelid. Never bucked, reared, bolted. If you stop kicking, he will come back in two strides; which has given my daughter so much confidence - we just now need a bigger pony with more gears as she has grown so much, and is ready to take on new challenges.

He has a lovely way of going with three smooth, balanced paces - and can really strut his stuff with longer legs on board! Happy on the lead with little jockeys teaching up-downs and first canters on the lunge, but equally would produce a lovely little dressage test with a more established jockey. Has jumped up to 70cm at home and xc schooling - where he truly excels - and has competed at 30/40/50 cm on and off lead - decorating both my daughters’ bedroom walls with rosettes. Will back off show jumps with fillers and takes some encouraging with new fences, so please don’t enquire if you are looking for a pony to carry a child around a course - that isn’t who he is. He loves XC fences and is a saint with steps, ditches and canters happily through water. He will follow or lead just the same and stand watching others patiently. XC is my daughters favourite discipline, due entirely to the feeling Casper has given her.

He is easy to do and used to children, non-riders, dogs, poultry and sheep. He is my go-to pony when we have friends to visit who don’t ride, and has been used routinely for teaching riding lessons.

Sweet-natured, loves fuss, grooming and kisses and has no stable vices. Very much the Welsh pony, he will tow to grass / haynet / feed bins when leading (show me a pony that doesn’t!) but has been independently handled, tacked up, loaded etc by my daughter - he’s just taught her to be on the ball!

Never sick or sorry and very low maintenance. Up to date with vaccinations, dentist, farrier and physio (routine). I’ve regularly updated his previous owner on our adventures and have had contact with the previous home too, so most history known. Super feet, always been barefoot and never had health issues.

He has been the centre of our happiest moments in 2024 and 2025 - we have hundreds of photos and videos of all we have done. He is fit and ready to help another young jockey (or a family of them!) learn the ropes and go on adventures together. We are looking for a loving and knowledgeable home, and will not be rushing the sale as we adore him. He will come with some tack and full wardrobe. Newly fitted Black Country saddle available by separate negotiation.

POA - please message or call Emily on 07956107499 with any questions. WhatsApp fine but I have issues with SMS!

Mothers Dream Pony Looking for Her New Best Friend

Ref #: 380495

  • Would make a super Pony Club all-rounder
£4,000
  • Cob
  • Piebald
  • Mare
  • 12 years
  • 12.2 hands
  • Safe, sensible, and full of love
  • Real confidence-giver
  • Would make a super Pony Club all-rounder
Oreo is a beautifully put-together 12.2hh Gypsy Cob mare with the temperament every parent dreams of. Safe, sensible, and full of love — this pony has been a real confidence-giver and is now looking for her next little person due to my daughter sadly outgrowing her.

Full history known, Oreo has been in the same extended family since she was backed. She spent time at a riding school (not dead to the leg!) when she returned to our good friends, my daughter fell in love and so she came to us. Still living in her original home. Since then, she’s taken my autistic, highly anxious 11-year-old daughter from being ready to give up riding altogether to confidently hacking, showing, jumping, and even tackling XC courses.

A true first pony or second pony.
Oreo is:
- Bombproof in all settings; heavy traffic, dogs, open spaces, nothing phases her
- Easy to handle; perfect with farrier, vet, to catch, load, groom, bathe
- Happy living in a mixed herd, and turns out beautifully
- Hacks alone or in company
- Ridden off lead by 4 &5-year-olds never puts a hoof wrong
- Recently jumping 70cm with ease
- Not fizzy or sharp, but responsive and willing
- Manners to burn both on the ground and ridden
- Stunning to look at; thick mane, tail, and feathers

Oreo would make a super Pony Club all-rounder, or stepping stone to independence. She’s been to the beach, local shows, clinics, and is always impeccably behaved.

We may consider a swap or part exchange for a safe, sensible 14.2/15hh pony suitable for a novice (but not complete beginner) child rider.
Serious enquiries only; home is absolutely paramount.

Millie

Approx 14.3/15H, 6 years old, old fashioned solid type.

Millie is a delight to have around the yard and is a laid back easy going girlie, that loves fuss and attention, will stand for hours to have a good pamper session, she’s polite and mannerly on the ground and a pleasure to handle on a daily basis.

She’s a bold and brave type naturally, hacks alone and in company including big groups and will go first or last, is a super happy girl whilst out and about exploring. She isn’t the spooky or silly type at all and will always keep you safe. Rock solid with all types of traffic and doesn’t “heat” up in big groups cantering etc, she is happy to stay in walk or trot if the horses you are with canter off ahead.

She has 3 nice paces in the school and is responsive off the leg without being speedy or sharp. Loves doing pole work and pops around a course of jumps. She’s happy to be picked up or put down where the riding is concerned and is no different if ridden everyday or left off for a few weeks.

Millie will suit a variety of riders including the less confident or less experienced, or equally someone that wants to go out and have fun without ever worrying if their horse is going to “cope” with the atmosphere or get excitable because there’s lots of other horses, or be too spooky or silly because life has taken over and they haven’t had chance to ride much, as this just isn’t Millie, she’s the same whether she is at home or away, in a big group or alone, ridden every day or ridden once a week.

No vices, loads and travels well.
Barefoot with fantastic feet
No previous medical history

Zara was professionally broken and has been riding away nicely with a novice rider. Has shown in hand and under saddle.

A really striking mare with a phenomenal attitude towards her work. 3 lovely paces and great off the leg.

She is still green, but has great potential.

She jumps for fun with a beautiful technique over a fence, would go to the top as a working hunter pony.

Bold and brave to a fence has never said no.

Grand sire competed successfully to HOYS level and was a top track WHP (photo attached)

Impeccable ground manners in and out of the stable and a really nice natured mare to have around.

Lack of jockey forces sale.

Billy is a traditional cob with a full mane, tail, and feather.

He is barefoot with excellent feet, up to date with vaccinations, worming, and teeth, and easy to catch, bath, groom, and for the farrier.

He is sadly looking for a new home due to my own health issues, which have limited how much I have been able to do with him.

He has done a bit of everything in his previous home, including some low-level dressage. He has not been ridden the last few months so looking for a knowledgeable, kind and confident rider to bring him on. He’s still green so not a novice ride.

He is a lovely boy with a cool character and a can do attitude so looking for a kind and knowledgeable home.

This is a genuine sale of a lovely little horse with lots of potential in the right hands.

Tack negotiable.

He is walk, trot, cantering, trotting over poles and popping a small course of jumps. He's ready for someone to put there own stamp on.

I’ve had Nellie since she was an unbroken 3yo and she has been an absolute pleasure in every regard since day 1.

She is the perfect model, beautifully put together with an attractive head and her breeding (half Connemara half thoroughbred) gives her all the desirable attributes needed in top competition pony.

I backed her lightly last year and she was an old head on young shoulders, taking everything in her stride and showing herself to be very intelligent, trainable and willing to work.

This year she has been produced carefully and correctly, being given time to mature while also being exposed to different environments and situations - which hopefully stands her in good stead to start het competition career.

She has 3 fabulous paces and a beautiful way of going, and has done plenty of basic schooling on a surface and on grass, and she’d be able to go out and do a low level test now. She moves well enough to be produced as a pure dressage pony - and she’d definitely be at home in the show ring.

Nellie is an out and out natural jumper. She has an amazing technique and is careful and clever. She’s jumping courses in the arena and on grass and is jumping away over fillers, water trays and combinations.

Over solid fences she seems to be equally as natural and has taken on banks, ditches etc first time with no issues, and has always been very safe and genuine.

She is a pleasure to have on the yard, she lives in or out, alone or in company and is really sweet to handle. She’s easy to shoe, travel, pull mane, do teeth etc and has no vices at all. She also loves going hacking and is happy to go out by herself on or off road, and she’s used to farm machinery, dogs and small children.

Having previously produced two FEI event ponies - of whom was selected for Europeans - I genuinely think this is the most talented young pony I’ve had and in the right home I have no doubt she will end up on teams and winning endless prizes. She is just the most gorgeous pony with an incredible brain/temperament, and is any little girls absolute dream.

Videos available on request and she is located in Republic of Ireland, near Thurles, and transport from Cork airport can be provided free of charge. (Also approx 2 hours from Dublin airport)

Clyde rides a beautiful test in the arena, pops around a full course of coloured fences and hacks both alone and in company over all terrains and through heavy traffic.

Clyde is a poppet in the stable and is easy to do in every way.

Clyde is super affectionate and most often than not, you will meet his huge moustache before him, as he is always wanting to see what you have in your pockets or to give you snuggles.

Clyde is for sale on behalf of an owner and they are very adamant he must go to a kind and loving home and would very much like to stay in touch.

This wonderful pony needs to find a new home due to my relocation where he can be kept on a track system due to having had laminitis 18 months ago - He is not on any medication and there has been no reoccurrence.

If you are a trackie or are open to this type of livery then Stormzy is a good match as he is bare foot and has been living the track life for over a year.

He also has a small lump on his chest that could be a sarcoid - this has never effected him so I have never had this looked at.

He hacks out on his own 2/3 times a week and is good with most traffic including tractors / big wagons - still looks up at motobikes but stands still and lets them pass.

His ridden work is carried out in my field and he works in walk, trot, canter and over ground / cross poles. He understands transitions, changing the rein and some basic lateral work - but I would still class him as green due to only being able to school when the ground is not to wet or too hard. I train under the school of “Ecole de Legerete” so he has done a lot of in hand work which I have incorporated work with obstacles with the equitation discipline in mind.

Please see some of the videos of him at a polework clinic, where he was a little excited for the first few minutes but soon settled - He liked the look of himself in the mirrors.

He is genuine with a cheeky personality and has lots of love to give - He is good for the farrier/vet/loading/washing/grooming etc not a nasty bone in his body.

I would like him to go to a knowledgeable home so no novices please - 5 star home is must and more important than price.

Casper
13.3h, 4yo Cob x Connemara gelding.

This lovely lad is seeking his forever home. He has proven to have an old head on young shoulders. He started his ridden career trekking and has been slowly introduced to low level schooling and jumping.

To hack, he is brave and good to take alone or in company, seen all types of traffic and not much fazes him.

In the school he is willing with a workable attitude, snaffle mouthed with good breaks. Due to his age he has only recently been introduced to jumping, however definitely shows some potential.

He loads, travels, catches etc brilliantly, stands well for the farrier (currently shod in front). He’s a pleasure to have on the yard with a very loveable character and completely trustworthy around children. Goes out with anything including my stallion. Stables well and doesn’t panic if left on his own.

Great pony club potential for a little jokey.

Located 20 mins from Salisbury.

Cosmo Approx 12,2 (small enough for kids of all ages to ride but equally takes up the leg well enough for small lightweight adult/teenager to ride. )

Super friendly ,lovely character and 100% around children dogs ect and unfazed by busy/noisy environment.

Cosmo is great on lead rein and will happily follow someone on foot or another horse with a tiniest of riders.
Equally he can be ridden of lead rein and has a great attitude to work.

He is nice and easy of the leg and listens well to the voice.

Enjoys hacking out and is often hacked out by my 5 and 3 year old nieces. He loves being pampered and fussed over and stands while the kids fuss over him. He has 3 lovely paces and is happy to pop a a little course of jumps. Could make a great show pony as he has beautiful markings and nice paces. He will happily step up for a confident rider to do some pony club ect and drop back down to look after the tiniest tots.

He has done common ridings with inexperienced novice young riders and looked after them very well. He did his first in hand showing class and behaved impeccable and was placed well. He took part in a local gymkana doing handy pony games ect and showed he wasn’t fazed by anything.

He stands well to be clipped bathed and brushed ect. Is always handled by my 3&5 year old nieces- they do everything with him- leading him to the feild, grooming, tacking up, bathing, loading him and playing dress up and taking him to into there play area with the swings and trampoline (often using these to climb on him and slide of his bum)

Only for sale as the kids already have 3 ponies between them and dont have the room to keep them all- as much as they would love to!

Spirit looking for a new home

Spirit is a very full up 14.2hh (would measure in) 7yo, Connemara gelding by the great lightning star ?? n/n hoof wall

Spirit has been in the same home since a rising 4yo, he has a lot of potential to go far in any discipline however needs a confident and experienced owner to bring this out of him.

Spirit works beautifully on the flat and has been out competing round 90cm, he is unphased by fillers and knows his changes. Spirit has been hunting where he proved bold and safe aswell as been cross country schooling a few times which he enjoys.

Spirit hacks alone and in company and is good in traffic. Can get excited in a group but never nasty just jolly. He is good to catch, clip, shoe , load and travel and is handled regularly by teenagers.

Despite all spirits good points he can be a bit of a thug at times and will take the pee if allowed to. Give him an inch and he’ll take a mile - I don’t struggle with him but he gave current owner a hard time. He’s the type you need to be very black and white and straight to the point and he’s easy. No nervous nellies or day dreamers we want a loving home where he can keep progressing ????

Peaches is a beautiful 12HH skewbald 4 year old Mothers/Childs/Dream.

She is gentle and genuine, easy and straight forward. Peaches loves being pampered, and is very affectionate.

Ridden by children of all ages and abilities, including beginners on and off Lead Rein and also leads off another friendly horse. She would also be a first ridden for a competent child or could be further produced.

She has been ridden on roads, open fields and numerous adventures with children and petite adults.

She has been quietly and kindly produced, with a soft snaffle mouth and shows 3 well balanced paces. She is a pleasure to have around easily handled both inhand and under saddle, also in and out of the stable. Never sick or sorry. She would suit both non horsey and experienced parents. Peaches is good with the farrier, is barefoot, wormed and up to date with vaccinations, boxes and travels quietly.

She has no vices and runs with both geldings and mares. She lives in or out.

Peaches is a happy, willing learner although she would do well being produced further in PC / RC.

Lily, 14.1hh, 15 years, skewbald cob who oozes presence. She has a beautiful genuine and kind nature inside and out.

She is like a rubber ball with her versatility, whether that be stepping up for a more mature rider or looking after a keen but novice rider.

Previously, she has been out to some local dressage shows, and had been training at home at Novice/Elementary level. She excels in dressage and although she has a little experience in jumping, she is capable of doing more. She is light in the contact and will stop when asked. She is forward and does not require a strong rider.

Lily has been in light work for the past two years enjoying on and off hacking due to business commitments, and has now been brought back into full work and is doing fantastically.

She has too much talent to go to waste, hence being up for sale. She deserves to find a competent jockey who she could go out and win with!

She is bombproof in traffic and will hack out alone or in company on the buckle. She will happily canter in an open field, in front or behind without any silliness. She does not spook and has no vices.

Whilst she is forward, she is safe and reliable. She has been in the same home for the last 10 years, and is much loved. She has always been unshod and is good with the vet, farrier, to clip, travel and for the dentist.

All vaccinations up to date.

Open for any trial/vetting, based NG22.
