Ref #: 377137
£2,950 OVNO

  • 6 years
  • 12.2 hands

Looking for his next best friend to have some fun with - 12.2 6 year old gelding.

KEV - bought as a 3 year old by us and professionally broken - we have made sure we have given him the best start to his life. He has been around children, dogs, yard machinery and lives out with our other geldings. He is a pleasure to have on the yard and really is no bother to have around.

He is ridden by children and knows all the basics and will jump round a small course, is safe in open fields and enjoys a good canter around the fields (isn’t bothered if he’s left behind), enjoys a lovely hack and we really want him to find a family who love him like we do.

He has enjoyed arena hires, pony days with a group of ponies which he has behaved so well for and we feel now is the time for him to go out and live his life! Home is so important as we have ensured he has had the best start to his education and we feel he would really thrive in the right home who will take their time with him like we have and understand as he’s 6 there will be things in the world he hasn’t seen yet and he still has to learn.

He is a quick learner and thrives off attention and praise which we have loved hense keeping him so many years and this decision being so hard. He is up together and ready to go for a summer of fun and would be a great pony for pony club as we think he would really enjoy this!

Never reared, bucked or bolted - always snaffled mouthed - Good to load, clip, farrier, teeth etc. £2950 ONO (tack also available)
Based in Cheltenham.

Lily, 14.1hh, 15 years, skewbald cob who oozes presence. She has a beautiful genuine and kind nature inside and out.

She is like a rubber ball with her versatility, whether that be stepping up for a more mature rider or looking after a keen but novice rider.

Previously, she has been out to some local dressage shows, and had been training at home at Novice/Elementary level. She excels in dressage and although she has a little experience in jumping, she is capable of doing more. She is light in the contact and will stop when asked. She is forward and does not require a strong rider.

Lily has been in light work for the past two years enjoying on and off hacking due to business commitments, and has now been brought back into full work and is doing fantastically.

She has too much talent to go to waste, hence being up for sale. She deserves to find a competent jockey who she could go out and win with!

She is bombproof in traffic and will hack out alone or in company on the buckle. She will happily canter in an open field, in front or behind without any silliness. She does not spook and has no vices.

Whilst she is forward, she is safe and reliable. She has been in the same home for the last 10 years, and is much loved. She has always been unshod and is good with the vet, farrier, to clip, travel and for the dentist.

All vaccinations up to date.

Open for any trial/vetting, based NG22.

Top Class HOYS Potential - Ultimate Allrounder

Gurnos Dolly Day Dream

13hh registered WPB 6yo mare.

Dolly has so much potential on the flat and jumping - she has been carefully produced by children and professionally schooled regularly by an adult who started her off correctly as a 4yo (2023).

Dolly has all the makings to be a top junior pony for workers/SHP. She is a super smart, flashy pony. Dolly is regularly competed by a 9yo confident novices at 50/60cm, she is super safe and never stops. Complete genuine pony who always tries her heart out.

Dolly is also ridden by a 12yo more knowledgeable rider who schools her over 80/90cm and currently competing in 70/75cm but showing so much scope and talent in this sphere. We also take her out to unaffiliated dressage where Dolly is always consistently placed scoring high 60’s low 70’s in prelim tests - Beautifully put together pony with super paces. Always loved by the judges and complimented on her looks at shows.

Dolly is a fun and reliable pony - can be hacked out by anyone. Completely adaptable to any rider, bombproof in the heaviest of traffic, safe in open spaces for a canter and goes through water.

Very much a mothers dream type- eye catching and genuine in all ways

kadans smokey alice is a full up 13.2 appaloosa mare, extremely well mannered on the ground and when riding she’s easy to handle and is barefoot. Alice is amazing in traffic and is snaffle mouthed for everything, she has jumped up to 90 bsja but has scope to go to the top in her chosen field.

She has an extremely positive attitude towards anything you try to do and is a very quick learner she does well alone or in company, she was left to mature until she was 7 and was broken early last year before we got her, she has a nice balanced canter and she can see herself into a fence, not spooky and has never stopped.

She is the ideal 2nd pony not aiming her in the beginger market because she is too good of a pony and we are looking for someone who can ride her well, this is a sad sale and she is only for sale because i jump bs and i’m too old to jump 138s competitively more videos and photos upon request.

Splashy is a beautiful 13.2 red and white coloured mare.

Splashy is a beautiful red and white coloured mare with a very kind, sweet nature to match. She is not at all marish!

Splashy has show jumped and done cross country in Ireland. We recently imported her and since being with us she’s been an absolute pleasure in every way. She loves the beach, can be ridden on buckle end and canter with no hands, she isn’t running off anywhere!

Splashy is responsive to the leg, she’s not a kick along cob! Very sensible to ride and is snaffle mouthed at all times, being light in the contact with good brakes! She moves exceptionally well with three correct paces. Plenty good enough for dressage!

We’ve taken Splashy out show jumping and cross country. Doesn’t change away from home. She jumps anything asked of her. Not at all spooky at fillers and is very bold cross country! We are yet to find something to spook her! She will happily take a miss and will sort her legs out to a jump, being careful at the same time!

She hacks out alone and in company proving to be sensible and sane in traffic. Loads and travels well, she is good to catch. Is currently living out at night and in the day.

She will make the ultimate pony club pony, all rounder, hunting pony, show jumper or dressage pony. She really will excel in any given discipline!

Splashy does deserve the best of homes, we think a lot of her. The first to view will buy! Excellent trial facilities available.

Passed a 5 stage vetting when purchased. Open to any viewings/inspections.

  • We have owned Milly for two years.

She’s the sweetest safest pony you’ll ever come across. My daughter backed her herself when she was only 12. Since then they they have done a bit of everything together; showjumping, arena hires, shows, cross country funrides and she wasn’t fazed by any of it and took it all in her stride.

She is snaffle mouthed. She’s extremely willing on the flat and hacks alone or in company. On hacks and she will happily jump logs, canter in open spaces etc, never spooks or gets bothered by anything.

Milly is definitely more of a woah than go pony which is why she would be an excellent lead rein pony, or first pony. She has a super jump and is bold and extremely careful. She has taken my youngest daughter from leadrein at local shows to off the leadrein jumping courses by herself in 12 months. You really could put anyone on this pony and she will always look after them.

Milly loves to be fussed and pampered and will stand for hours to be groomed. She’s up to date with vaccinations, teeth etc. she’s currently bare foot but she’s perfect for the farrier, to clip, and to load. Milly truly has a heart of gold and is willing to give everything and anything a go. She will truly be missed by us all. Only selling her due to both of my daughters outgrowing her. Only the best of home for our special little pony!! Telford/ Shropshire based.

“Princess Penny”. 14hh, appaloosa X cob, 4 year old, mare.

Penny is truly one in a million, please read the full add before enquiring. For any further questions or to arrange a viewing please phone 07469204220 for quickest response.

Penny is the straightest of ponies to deal with. She was lightly backed at the end of last year and has been produced slowly and correctly with her future in mind. She has just stepped up a level in her work in the last few months and is now ready to find her own person to excel in any sphere.

Penny has nice flatwork for her age, 3 very balanced paces. She’s good to hack alone or in company, will go on a loose rein and never hots up or gets silly in open spaces.
My novice cousin hacks her bareback.

Extremely honest to jump and has a lot of scope and ability. Never looks at any filler etc, she has never stopped or said no. She’s been to a few unaffiliated shows and always behaves impeccably, currently being ridden & competed by an 11 year old jockey.

Most recently she competed at her first local agricultural show under saddle in the SJ where she jumped clear in both classes and placed 4th to qualify for the sweet meadow championships. She has just jumped at the POP festival where she qualified for the grand prix in the 80cm.

Penny did some in-hand showing as a yearling successfully in her old home.

Has been XC schooling and absolutely ate it up - jumping ditches, drops, combinations, water complex etc first time asked.

Has been to the beach and regularly gets ridden out in open spaces. She doesn’t hot up at all in a group, other horses can leave her and she’s stay 100% with you. I hack her on buckle end.

She does get ridden by novice riders occasionally and we do put beginners on her to hack up and down the drive on the lead rein, she’s a very safe pony and would never rear/buck/bolt or do anything daft. But with that said we want to see her to a knowledgeable home with a capable jockey.

She doesn’t need to be in daily work and she doesn’t change after time off.

Such a sweet & quiet pony to handle on the ground. Good to catch, clip, bath, load, travel (will stand on the box quietly at a show). She will live in or out, she’s currently out 24/7 but she does looveee coming in for a snooze.

She’s shod in front and is good with the farrier. Up to date with vaccinations, teeth & worming. I genuinely can’t think of a single vice, she is the straightest & easiest pony I’ve come across, I’d go a long way to find her again.

With all this said, new owner needs to keep in mind she is still very young and her education will be on-going. Knowledgeable homes only.

She does not come with any tack. We will not allow her to go on trial, no loans/lwvtb.

She is a classy pony with a lot of competition potential, we want to see her into an active home and in absolutely no hurry to see her go.

She is going to continue being produced between myself and junior rider Elana until the perfect home is found.

Based in North Wales.

Please call 07469 204220 for any enquiries.

Introducing Buddy or Spud (as he thinks he’s still got some) – the golden-haired heartthrob with four white legs, a dazzling white face, and more attitude than a Love Island contestant.

Hobbies include:
• Jumping like he’s auditioning for the next Olympics
• Posing and flouncing dramatically in the field
• Wooing every horse in sight male or female
• Testing boundaries – usually the electric fence’s

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Buddy must have his own paddock, preferably surrounded by the kind of electric fencing NASA might use to protect a launch site.

Yes, gelded. No, he didn’t get the memo he thinks his surname is Hefner

Hacks alone or in company, rides well in the school, nice forward easy ride with good brakes, has been ridden by kids and novice adults with no problems

Been to arena hires and shows – behaves like a saint 99% of the time (the other 1% is just… cob stuff)

Loads and travels well
Great for the farrier and to catch
Lives on fresh air – cheap date!
Vaccinations & worming up to date

Not a novice owner’s first pony – he’s built like a tank with cob opinions on the ground

Needs someone confident and cob-savvy who can handle his “I’m the boss” energy with a sense of humour and a firm lead rope.

Only for sale due to a lovely young first-time owner being overhorsed - she wants more of a pet to brush and he’s too good for that – however she absolutely adores him and would love to stay in touch with his new human.

Buddy’s ideal home:

• Confident rider and handler

• A well-fenced field of his own “ His kingdom”

• Someone who appreciates a horse with personality, presence, and a serious amount of pizzaz

No timewasters, dreamers, or matchmaking services. He’s not looking to settle down anytime soon

We purchased Fury in 2022 when my daughter was 10yrs old and together they have achieved so much, he is definitely her pony of a lifetime. We initially bought him as an all round PC pony but it became apparent Fury is so much more. Fury knows his job well and enjoys a varied life.

DRESSAGE - His flat work is established in all three paces and this is shown in his dressage scores regularly scoring sub 30 while receiving complementary comments from judges. As a combination for BE 80/90 they were in the Equiratings top 70 of the country for lowest dressage PB 2024.

SHOWJUMPING - Fury has an easy stride to the jump and will always help you out. He isn't spooky with fillers and will always take any line you give him.

XC - Cross country is by far Fury's favourite discipline and where he excels! Fury has taken part in regular training with BE youth coaches and is adapt at technical lines. Recently won Junior 90 Cotswold Cup Pontispool 2025, double clear and finishing on their dressage of 28!

Our ideal home for Fury would be with a quiet gutsy rider ready to begin their eventing journey so Fury can help teach another child. Fury is fit and ready to go in time for PC qualifiers, Cotswold Cup, BE or just all round fun. We live on a working farm so Fury is well used to large vehicles and is safe in traffic. We are hacking distance from the coast and he loves a beach ride including getting his legs wet in the sea! My daughter has also competed him at an unaffiliated county show in working hunter where he took supreme champion! Fury has been to PC camp and taken part in countless rallies, group beach rides and is never fazed. Fury is fantastic to travel in a trailer or lorry and is a dream at stay away shows. Home is of the upmost importance for us as he is a very loved member of the family. We are still in contact with his previous owners and we would also like to follow his journey with his next jockey. References available from BE coaches.
Fury was barefoot and very surefooted when we bought him but we put shoes on purely for studding at BE 90. Fury does require sedating when clipping his feathers. Fury has never had a days illness and is open to vetting. Up to date with vaccinations, teeth and physio.

Heart Breaking sale of just the loveliest pony.

12yo, approx 13hh, chunky skewbald mare (unknown breeding).

Flyer has been Tully’s absolute rock as she has progressed from 50cm on to her current BS ponies. She is the most fabulous all-rounder and needs to introduction within our Pony Club as everyone will have seen her out and about at show, rally’s, fun rides etc.

General riding; Flyer is absolutely brilliant to hack out, alone or in company, front middle or back, & past any traffic. She isn’t spooky and will go anywhere. We live on the Moors, and she will cross water, open ground, pick her way sensibly up and down steep slopes, open and close gates, stand still to be remounted, and can have a good gallop on minute and return to a sensible walk the next. She’s forward going and keeps up with my horse without Tully having to kick all the time, she’s happy to go on lead rein for my youngest to ride, or to exercise lead without a rider, she’s even been led off the quad. She great. She also loves Hunting or Fun Rides, and while being very pleased about being there, is always still mannerly and safe.

Jumping; Flyer has done tons of Show Jumping with us. She is out at least twice per month and has been to all the big & small venues (day shows and stay-aways) around our area including Chard, Bicton, Ponitspool, The Grange, Ponderosa). She always behaves immaculately and is totally straight forward. Sometimes even my 5yo rides her in the warm up! She has taken Tully from doing 50cm on her old 23yo pony, to nervously doing her first 60. She has been doing the BS under 11 (70cm) and Stepping Stones 128 (75cm) all winter, and has taken Tully right up to attempting her first Blue Chip Qualifier at 80! Flyer is nicely forward going to a fence, she stays in a rhythm and will give a nice feel of taking the child to the fence, without being strong. She isn’t one for stopping or running out and will try her best to help. She doesn’t need setting up to a fence and is happy to just chip in or go long if she’s wrong, without taking offence if her jockey balances on her mouth by accident.

Cross Country; we haven’t done quite so much of, but we have done PC rally’s and competed in 60’s and 70’s and she is very willing to give it a go. She loves going through the water and will literally dive in if asked which Tully absolutely loved doing to make the biggest splash possible.

Showing; Flyer we have always thought would be a top Working Hunter Pony, she has the most fabulous conformation, with a huge cresty neck making her look fabulous without even trying. We have done a few showing classes with her through the summer and she always does well. She won the Working Hunter Pony at Exford last year and got a prestigious trophy which is currently on my shelf! Showing is not something we are in too as a family, but Flyer certainly could do well with the right owner, I’m sure.

Schooling / Dressage; Flyer is easy and obedient to school, quick to obey a command and willing to keep working without asking to stop or hang to the gate. She’s got a super canter, carries herself in a natural outline and is a grafter. Always wanting to please.

As an all-round pony, I would have a job to find a fault with Flyer. As a Mother I absolutely adore her, she is so easy in every way.

She has never had laminitis, but she does have a very cresty neck so I am careful to not expose her to anything that could bring it on. She has no ailments, allergies or other conditions. She has a bit of a bump/splint on a hindleg which doesn’t affect her, otherwise she is physically perfect with straight movement. She great to clip, shoe, load (lorry or trailer), and while she occasionally thinks it hilarious to run around the field when you appear with a head collar, she will always come for a bucket.

She has no vices, has never ever bucked or reared in any situation. She lives in or out, with mixed herds of mares/geldings/ponies/youngstock/donkeys/chickens. She is quite timid within the herd and not opinionated. Her submissive demeanour leads her to prefer quiet & kind people, and wouldn’t respond well to brash or rough handling, and I don’t think she would ever deserve it. If Tully ever carries a whip on her, which is rare) she gives it the side eye as if to ask what she could possibly have done to deserve this, ha-ha, her expressions are very readable!

She a total poppet. The only reason I am looking for a new home for Flyer is because Tully is now really focused on BS jumping and Flyer while being the best PC pony in the world, is not scopey enough to jump the big 80cm tracks and while she try’s her heart out, Flyer is a true all rounder not a pure Show Jumper. Tully is heartbroken even talking about selling her, and is totally opposed to it, but we have bought her a new pony to jump 80+ and finances dictate that we cannot just keep everybody.

We are open to vetting & viewings, she can be tried at home here where we have a school / jumps/ some rustic xc fences and fabulous hacking over the Moors, or we could potentially meet at a venue.

We are on Exmoor so it is always a bit of a trek to get to us, but it’s beautiful here and worth the trip!

I have literally hundreds of photo’s and videos of Flyer in just about every situation. I will be a little particular about where Flyer goes, and we would really love to keep in touch with her new owners. In an ideal world, I would love to have the chance to buy her back again in a few years time when my 5yo daughter is moving up!

  • Would be a fantastic PC/ hunting pony

Super quality, fun & characterful 13.1 5yo gelding.

Smartie was bred and broken in Ireland, with children doing the bulk of the riding away. Having been ridden down the busiest of roads, through rivers, uphill and downdale, needless to say he is not at all the spooky or sensitive type.

He has since come over here and spent time schooling, hacking, and going to venues/ clinics, ridden by children, teen and adults alike.

He is a very sweet and comical chap, and goes through life with a positive attitude!

To ride he is safe and sensible but not a first pony. He would suit a child or teen that likes to have some fun, as whilst he will plod around steadily, I don’t think he would suit this being his job title.

He would be a fantastic PC/ hunting pony and really enjoy this. Has good, willing flatwork although plenty of room for improvement. He is bold to coloured and rustic fences including dykes/ coffins/ drops.

Very good to hack alone and in company. No vices, blemishes or ailments.

Kind mare looking for a new home

Rosa is a forward thinking cob with an active walk. Due to her being forward going I feel she would suit someone that is established in their walk, trot and canter and wanting to go out and have fun. I brought her for my daughter after she lost her confidence and they have had many hrs of saddle time together.
Her schooling is basic and she has no fancy moves in her. Just walk, trot and canter in the arena. Done all pony club activities since we have owned her including stay away camps. Enjoys water and has done beach and fun rides.

Rosa remains level headed in all atmospheres even if the companion horses are finding things exciting. Safe in wide open spaces and has enjoyed hunting with the bloodhounds with my daughter. Will stand and wait when the packs leaves and will not get hot headed.

Rosa hacks in company and solo. We live in a quiet area with a lot of off road hacking and she loves a good gallop,

Rosa is easy to take out in the trailer as she loads and arrives at wherever you settled. She is a straightforward mare to have around in the ground and turns out in her own with a friend nearby. She stables or lives out, at the moment she lives out as her friend is arthritic and benefits from moving all the time. Rosa does have access to her stable at all times and likes to stand in there with the door open.
Reason for sale is she is not consistent with her show jumping and prefers to watch all the other horses jumping than actually leave the ground herself. She does jump she just doesn’t enjoy herself. We brought her as our forever pony but sadly she has given my daughter so much confidence she now would like a horse to take jumping and but Rosa doesn’t want the same thing.

The Ideal home for our lovely pony would be someone that wants a fun ride for the pub, beach pleasure rides and hacking with friends where safe and fun is the priority. Up to date with teeth, jabs, worm count and farrier.
No known health issues,
As she is a full feathered cob I keep her clipped and regularly treat her for the prevention of mites to ensure she has no sores or is uncomfortable.

Very sad sale and only due to daughter wanting to move onto horses. To be sold to a 5 * home only and this is a big priority to us . Open to vet, fitted tack by negotiation.
