Eye catching competitive 13.2 mare

Ref #: 380946

  • Sunshine Tour 2025 Qualified at 1m, 90cm & 80cm first attempt
  • Three beautiful floaty paces
  • Ideal for competitive young rider or small adult

Flower Pot was purchased as an unbroken 6 year old and has been slowly produced by my daughter, who has sadly outgrown her. She has been the pony of a lifetime for us and has taught my daughter so much, but she is now ready for her next rider.

She is very willing to learn and eager to please. She’s polite to handle with impeccable ground manners.

Our focus has been on jumping, as it’s what they both prefer, however her flatwork is beautiful as we’ve worked to give her a good grounding, and as such, she has three well established paces.

Jumping - Flower Pot will currently clear 120cm in the field. We have competed her up to 90cm frequently over the last few years unaffiliated, and most recently 1m, where she qualified for the Sunshine Tour 2025 at Hickstead in 1m placing 1st, and 90cm & 80cm with double clears placing 2nd and 3rd respectively.

We’ve recently registered her with BS Club, and she has placed every time.

She really enjoys XC, and can easily clear fences up to 1m on the course. She is bold to a fence, and frequently gives leads over jumps and through water to other less confident horses in lessons.

She has been on numerous pleasure rides and will jump anything put in front of her. She will be up front, and just keeps going!

Flower Pot has attended many Pony Club rallies, and camp. She has attended a few games training sessions and polocrosse in the past, however we’ve focused on jumping for the last few years.

My daughter frequently rides and jumps her bareback with only a neck strap in the field. She has recently passed her Pony Club C+ Test on her, and received full marks in the ridden section of her PE GCSE on Flower Pot.

She is very eye catching and always turns heads and receives compliments at shows. She has beautiful even markings and I feel she would excel in a showing environment.

She is able to be turned out in a mixed herd, with a single companion, or by herself with others in view.

She is barefoot and has never been shod. Her feet are brilliant and require very little maintenance. She is hacked out a few times a week on the road alone by my 16yr old daughter, but is equally happy with company.

She stands well for the farrier and vet, and is perfect to clip. She loads in a trailer or a wagon.

Injections, worming and teeth are up to date.

Flower Pot is not a novice ride. An ideal home would be a quiet gutsy rider who will continue to progress with her.

MAY

Ref #: 384262
  • 14.2hh 7 yrs dun and white Irish sports pony
  • Fun little pocket rocket
SOLD!

  • 7 years
  • 14.2 hands
  • 14.2hh 7 yrs dun and white Irish sports pony
  • Fun little pocket rocket

Fun little pocket rocket who would like to meet someone as enthusiastic about life as she is!

May has been with her owners for the past three years and has been a competent mother and daughter share. She has taken part in fun things like sponsored rides and lots of hacking and adores being out and about having fun exploring the countryside. She is a forward going ride and loves to have a job to do.

She’s polite enough with it but needs a rider who has an independent seat and leg as would worry a novice as would just get quicker. She is very responsive to voice and although forward thinking is stoppable. May loves to have a job to do and thinks jumping is great fun.

She never says no and once a bit fitter and a bit more schooled should be a real contender both unaffiliated and grass roots junior BS. She wants to leave fences up and aims to please.

She has basic flatwork installed but needs polishing to be dressage test ready. As you can imagine she loves her hacking and going for a canter round the fields. She’s keen and fun but there is no buck, rear or nap in her. She’s excellent in traffic.

May is a total pet to have in on the yard, lovely to catch, clip, box, shoe etc. she lives off fresh air and turns out with anything. Loving home wanted as daughter off to uni.

Price includes tack.

Seen at livery.

Dennistown Marble (Dennis), 14 year old, skewbald gelding. We bought him in 2022 when my daughter was 11 years old, and there is very little they haven't done together.

Dennis had only Show Jumped when we had him, in Ireland and here with great success.

We however wanted to follow an eventing pathway and together they have worked up to jumping double clear at BE100. Their highlights include: -

2022 Winning Team PC Area Eventing Quaifiers 80cm (4th Individually)
2023 Moreton Morel BE90 U18 - 1st
2023 Solihull BE90 U18 - 3rd
2023 Qualified for PC National Champs SJ 90cm
2024 Qualified for PC National Champs Dressage Nov (placed 9th individually at champs)
2024 Qualified for PC National Champs Dressage Intermediate
2025 Won PC Area 9 SJ Qualifier 100cm
2025 Qualified for PC National SJ Champs Individual & Team 100cm
2025 Qualified for PC National Eventing Champs 90cm
2025 6th place at PC90 Eventing National Championships (2 time faults for being a little too swift cost him 2nd place)
Numerous PC Spring Festival Qualifications in SJ and Arena Eventing
2025 Ascot under Wychwood BE100 Double Clear

He has just done his 4th PC Camp with us and we have hunted him. He is a super careful jumper and we have worked hard on his dressage over the last 4 years, he produces some very nice work.

As he is well schooled he is sensitive to rider aids so would suit a child who is a competent rider. Dennis has tonnes of personality and is adored by all who meet him!

He has been handled by my daughter from the word go and younger children.

He is good to load, dentist, shoe, needs sedating to be clipped and can be wary of men, goes out with other geldings and is always the under dog.

Would live in or out. We are looking for a knowledgeable home for this much loved special pony.

Goldlands Rumour Has It aka splash/little beast
5 year old Traditional Gelding

CHAPs & TGCA overstamped
The ultimate Thelwell show off!
He’s perfect to do in all ways, no lumps, bumps or vices.

We have used him this year to nanny our youngsters, he’s bombproof in the heaviest of traffic, you could ride him up the M62 on washing line reins alone or in company.
He’s a sensible steady ride however will go up the gears when asked, he has an amazing extension. He will pop a jump solid or coloured but he isn’t going to be your next Olympic event horse.

Started his showing career been highest placed Traditional CHAPs youngstock at the Great Yorkshire Show as a 3 year old (2023), over all 5th out of approximately 40. He then went on to gain all his CHAPs youngstock evaluations as a 3 year old. Backed and ridden away at 4 lightly hacking, before heading out as a ridden this year in the show ring. In his first season he’s qualified for TOYs, took overall Quest Championship at hambleton district show, numerous other wins and championships to his name, never out of the top 3 all season. 3rd in a recent RIHS ridden and took a win in the inhand section

Stood very respectably placed in a huge mixed TGCA class at the Great Yorkshire show this year, unfazed by the go around with 30 others.

You’ll also have to be willing to take millions of photos as this lad likes to get the perfect angel.

Travels in wagon or a trailer alone/in company and happy to be left alone in the box.

Snaffle mouth, but will happily show in a Pelham bridle, does prefer a small ported bit

Fully up to date with teeth, farrier, vaccinations, physio etc. good to clip bath & shoe. Do not expect him to walk through a muddy puddle, however he’d be more than happy to role in it. He is a pampered pony and does prefer a stable in winter and a rug.

He is a typical pony and if you are of a nervous nature he will likely enjoy terrorising you.

He has covered mares as a youngster but due to only liking the pretty young ladies it wasn’t really his forte hence gelded. He happily turns out alone/ in a mixed herd with mares and geldings.

Numerous videos and pictures upon request, he’s open to any vet/ ridden viewing.

He will not be sold unseen, homes will be vetted as this boy is truly adored
Only available due to having so many youngsters coming along
Low 5 figures, sensible offers will be considered to the right home

Sadly he has become outgrown far quicker than planned and is now looking for his next jockey to have some fun with!

Has been used as a lead rein and first ridden with bags of potential to step up as more of a second ridden if required.  Big enough to be ridden by a small adult too!

Works nicely in the school, isn’t strong and copes with a longer rein without speeding off!

Happily lives in or out and is easy to do in all ways. Lives on fresh air.  No injuries or blemishes and no vices or health concerns.

Good to catch, load, trim, clip etc….. very sad sale of this lovely pony.

  • Teenage Dream - Forward and Fun
14.2/14.3hh Woody is an American Paint and Welsh Cross. Woody was bought for my 13 year boy/girl twins who have now sadly outgrown him.

Woody has done everything but mainly focused on eventing, hunter trials and show jumping events. Has completed numerous Cotswold Cup Events. His forte is cross country and in his home before us he did a lot of tetrathlon events competing at Tetrathlon Junior Nationals three times and also Tethrathlon Internationals. He can jump comfortably around 90cm SJ and X country courses, always coming home in the ribbons as he is quick against the clock. Has established dressage and could get sub 30 consistently.

We've exposed Woody to hunting over the last two seasons and but he does not like deep mud. He is good to hack, both by himself and with others. Good in open spaces. The most he does is have a shy and a look at a leaf on the ground now and again. Could put in a buck if he was excitable, or out of work and in high spirits. Would suit a competent child rider that wants to go out to shows and have fun as he takes his confidence from his rider. He would give someone endless amounts of fun as he is a solid allrounder and has done absolutely everything with us and also his past owners who are happy to give additional references. A solid, forgiving type that dont come up very often and is a teenagers dream.

We have never had a health issue with Woody. He does have dust mite allergies so we ride him in a nose net and avoid dusty hay. We give him haylage or soaked hay.

Woody is a big softie. He's been handled solely by my kids with no need for adult intervention. He loads first time every time and is good to shoe, clip and for the dentist. He loves his food and is a good doer and low maintenance. Heartbreaking sale as this boy is sadly outgrown. Five star homes only where we can keep in touch please.

Based Gloucestershire. Please Whats App for more videos/photos and details.

Super smart 11.2hh roan and white gelding 4 years old. Munchkin is a lovely stamp of a pony with good straight movement and confirmation. He was professionally broken to ride slowly and correctly at the beginning of summer and is currently ridden by a 9 year old.

He schools sweetly in walk trot and canter with a child. He is forgiving with an unbalanced child and is proving to be a very genuine and safe pony. He hacks alone and in company in the heaviest of traffic and has popped a couple of fences. He is happy to be ridden on the lead rein and on the lunge by tiny tot. He shows talent over a fence loose. He is good to do in all ways and is handled by children. He has been lightly shown in hand and would make a lovely SHP.

Munchie has all the attributes to make a super pony club pony and I would love to see him in an active home with a good little jockey who can continue his education and bring out the best in him.

Unfortunately we do not have a small consistent jockey for him so therefore is only available to a 5* home.

MOTHERS DREAM SAFE AND SENSIBLE HUNT /1STPONY

Red and white 13.1hh cob pony for sale. Mare 12 years old. This will be a very honest, albeit very reluctant advert given Stella’s next bet friend is going to be a child.

Stella is the dream ridden hunt/hack pony. She has taken my girl from borderline scared to sit on a horses back to a lovely confident rider out that is out hunting every Saturday of the season. Stella is great to catch, shoe, clip etc. no vices at all. Will stand all day to be fussed, looks after even the most nervous of rider. She loads and unloads perfect on the trailer or wagon. We have Many many pictures and videos available and can also get references from a master. If you are looking to get your child out riding/hunting and gain confidence then Stella would be the dream.

She is impeccably mannered in the field, stands like a trooper at the meet, will do gates and wait patiently to be mounted, doesn’t stress when left. She will Leave the field happily and also happily be left. She will cross any water no matter the depth. Stella is never sick or sorry, never strong and silly and will give any child a good day. Stella’s absolutely flex is her safe and sturdy approach to everything she comes across. She knows where her feet need to be on trappy ground and will always strive to look after her rider. She has never bucked/reared/bolted etc.

Fabulous in all traffic and will hack alone or in company.

Stella will pop a small hunt fence and have a pop about at home up to 70cm. Stella isn’t a world beater in the jumping department but will always try her best, she will school lovely when asked however dressage etc isn’t of my daughters interest so we rarely do it. She likes to be out and about the same as her jockey. Stella will live in or out and is a real do gooder and a lovely genuine little pony that will make a little one a happy bunny.

We only wish she had another hand on her as my daughter is swiftly out growing her, 5 star home only as we have a distraught 13 year old who’s dreading saying goodbye. Any amount of pictures and videos. Vetting welcome and can also have a masters reference

Buzz is a very special experienced event pony with placings from 90BE all the way up to PT Novice with 3 different riders.

He is a very balanced and straightforward ride on the flat with 3 good paces, all his lateral work established and striking looks, often scoring sub 30 in this phase. He would successfully affiliate and be competitive to Medium level BD.

Keen and forgiving to a fence, he has taught all of his jockeys to jump round 1.10 tracks in busy arenas in high pressured situations.

Brave and clever XC, he’s a regular out on the BE circuit and been part of U18 teams, there isn’t much Buzz hasn’t done or seen!

We feel he would make an exceptional schoolmaster for someone starting off on their journey BE and enjoy a fun, varied and knowledgeable PC home where he could be a part of family life.

He has hunted as a young pony and I’m sure would love to again.

Blaze, beautiful, uncomplicated, RDA type 13'3 piebald mare. 18 years young, in fabulous health. Non spooky type.

Ideal mother/child share (max. weight of 10 stone). Has always been unshod. Easy to do in all ways, currently handled daily by a 10 year old. Up to date with vaccinations, teeth and hoof trimming.

Happily hacks out, either behind or in front, not phased by lorries, tractors, trailers, prams, dogs etc.

Happily schools in both an indoor arena (with mirrors) and an outdoor arena. Loads beautifully and has attended some local jumping classes.

Can be turned out alone or as part of a herd. A type that is hard to find. Was in her last home from the age of 5 until I bought her 18 months ago. I purchased her to be my forever pony, very sad sale due to me no longer being able to ride due to chronic illness, or she wouldn't be going anywhere.

Looking for somewhere in the region of £ 3,850, with tack by separate negotiation. Excellent facilities to try her in.

This is a very honest advert, i paid significantly more than I am asking for purely for her temperament, as I needed to be as safe as possible. Based not far from M5, Junc.22

Sold as seen

By Future Illusion (Future Sport Horses), out of a Welsh x Arab mare (Doylan Stud).

This striking homebred mare has been with me since birth, so her full history is known. She was professionally backed in summer 2023 and worked consistently until May 2025.

She has been out of work since then due to lack of time and therefore will be sold as seen, however she is ready to continue her education with the right rider.

Work history: Professionally backed, schooled, hacked out, and introduced to pole work and small jumps

Handling: Although not currently in ridden work, she is handled daily so remains well-mannered. She has done some hacking, but is still very green on roads and in traffic, so is best suited to a confident, experienced rider

Mouth: Rides well in a snaffle and responds to an experienced, confident hand

Temperament: She is full of personality, forward, intelligent, and can be sharp at times if not in consistent work. Still green and learning, so requires an experienced rider to get the best out of her and guide her in the right direction

Up to date with teeth, feet and vaccinations

Extras: Tack and rugs included

NOT a novice ride – she is full of character, athletic, and best suited to a confident teenager or small adult who enjoys producing young horses. For the right person, she will be a hugely rewarding project.

She shows three correct paces, athletic movements, and a forward thinking brain – making her a fantastic eventing or all-rounder prospect with bags of potential.

For long term loan with view to buy for right person, Gee Gee, 13.3hh coloured cob mare. Gee Gee will excel in the right hands and has potential in the show ring but she needs some work. She absolutely loves hacking out buts very green in the school.

Gee would suit a small adult or teenager as she does need someone who is confident on the ground with her. She's a mare and sometimes she likes to let you know it! She's will load in a trailer but can take some persuasion, when she's doing it all the time she's find. She lives happily with mares or geldings as part of a small herd. Gee Gee loves fuss and attention and will stand for ages and let you brush and bath her. She does need sedation for clipping.

She has been to a variety of local shows and competed in show jumping, xc and showing. She will happily jump a course up to 60/70cms and has jumped 90cm single fences. This is a very difficult decision but my daughter has overgrown what she is able to do and although I do ride her (I am 5ft 8in and 12 st and she easily carries me), I cannot as much as she needs with her.
