Pilgrim is looking for a happy hacking home or low level all rounder. He hacks perfectly in company. Brave in all types of traffic and never strong on open fields.

He has done pony club rallies, numerous pony club camps, XC schooling and course hires but is now looking to have a quieter life hacking or teaching another young child to ride.

He has plenty of experience and has taught my 11yr old sister to ride, they’ve spent 3 years progressing together. He can be grumpy on the ground, usually when tacking up. He’s a pony who is stuck in his ways! Pilgrim is adored by his current rider and is only looking for a home due to her outgrowing his abilities.

Home is very important as he’s a very special pony! Not a complete novice’s ride as can throw a buck in on the XC field. You could put your grandma on him in the school and he would look after her!

Does have a slightly deformed hind hoof which he’s had for years, prior to coming to us, this has never caused him any problems.

Loads and loads of videos on request!

He can be sold with tack and some rugs. Please contact me on WhatsApp 07375 386384 if interested. Serious enquires only.

6 year old, 13.3hh traditional cob

Up to date with jabs, farriar, dentist

Poppy would suit a capable teenager or small adult, she’s been shown by a competent novice but wouldn’t be a first pony as can get strong. Schooled well, winning every time out then turned away to mature more.

Absolutely loves jumping but is green.

Good to hack alone and in company in the heaviest of traffic, farm machinery and emergency vehicles.

In full time work she is a mother's dream pony but because of her young age she can be very impatient.

Good to clip with a lickit, stands for farriar, to be groomed and bathed but can be fussy bathing her left side.

Fantastic to load but a madam to travel, cannot be travelled in a trailer with a breast bar as she will rear when car is stationary (traffic lights, junctions) fine whilst moving, we have not tried her in a lorry. we travel her cross tied in an open trailer and never had an issue getting to and from shows.

More videos and photos available on request.

Sold from the field as sadly we no longer have time to continue her education. Last shown in-hand 28/09/2025 winning champion

Outstanding Pony Club Pony

  • Always in the ribbons
  • Scopy jump and fast against the clock
  • Jumping 90cm SJ tracks and XC courses

Sadly for sale due to rider moving onto 14.2hh

Honey is a 13.2hh much loved sports cob. We have had her for 3 years and during that time she has done the following:

Hunter trials
Hunted
Pony Club Camp
Showjumping
Eventing
Clinics
Arena hires
Hacking (in company and alone)
Pony Club Games
Handy Pony

She was bought for my daughter to do all PC activities on and she’s done that so well. They have competed locally and usually come home with a rosette. Honey has a hugely scopey jump and she can comfortably compete round 90cm SJ courses. XC she jumps 90 in training and at clinics but we usually compete her in 80’s. She has no issues with fillers, water, brushing fences, ditches etc and is bold as brass on the hunting field. Shes fast against the clock and a careful jumper, rarely will she touch a pole. She will excel in BS. She enjoys all Pony Club activities and isn’t phased by large groups of people and ponies. She doesn’t spook at Handy Pony tasks.

Shes barefoot at the moment but has been shod when we was in heavy competition work. Ridden in a snaffle in all disciplines. Loads herself into boxes, travels in a lorry, 3.5tonne van and trailer no problem at all. Easiest pony at a day show or a stay away as she’ll stand and eat her haynet quite happily. Easy to clip, stands happily for as long as it takes. Good for farrier too. Lunges well, and is lunged by a teen and an 11 year old. She’s managed by children daily. Easy to catch. Stands to be washed. Currently lives out 24/7 but has been in over night and copes fine either way.

Hacks out alone or in company. Goes first or last on hacks, my children have hacked her along roads and she’s not bothered by any traffic. We live on a farm so she’s exposed to tractors, diggers, quads, drones etc and we are on a flight path for the RAF so she’s not phased by helicopters or low flying planes.

She is only for sale as my youngest daughter isn’t keen to compete and her rider is moving into a 14.2hh pony now due to her age.

Comes with a full wardrobe including: English leather saddle (fitted to her), English leather bridle, turnout and stable rugs and fly rugs.

Perfect best friend Blue

  • Kind, Genuine mare who will excel in any discipline.
Will make a perfect best friend for someone, loves the fuss and will stand for hours to be pampered, she would excel on the hunt field, pony club games, low level dressage, eventing, or just a happy hacker.

Blue is a kind, easy going genuine mare who gets compliments from everyone who meets her. She is easy to ride and gives you everything you ask for. She’s naturally a forward moving mare but not at all strong, you don’t have to be getting after her every ride and feeling like your legs are getting tired!

She’s well built, fine and compact. No lumps or bumps.

She will stand for hours to be brushed, pampered and fussed, she’s amazing to handle whether this is by adults or kids, she is never nasty, never pulls a face or lifts a leg.

Amazing to hack alone, in company or led of off another horse. Will wait at the side of the road for however long you need, will wait patiently for vehicles and people to pass. She is not fazed by road traffic, she has experienced everything where I’m based: cars, bicycles, tractors towing sheep!, cement mixer Lorrie’s, wide load Lorrie’s, buses all of the above. The only vehicle Blue is a little wary of is motorbikes I simply take her into a lay by and she will wait for them to pass she doesn’t pull any silly moves you can just feel her tense a little bit. I’m assuming in her past she hasn’t had a good encounter. Easy to hack in open spaces never speedy or hard to control - whatever speed you ask for she gives.

Easy to do in the school, she will pop some small jumps, isn’t fazed by fillers at all!

Easy to do in all other ways such as: farrier, grooming, tacking up, vets, travelling, loading etc super easy for anyone to handle. She’s great around dogs, loud machinery (I have video proof of this)

Blue just needs to spend time around you before she isn’t unsure of you, it takes her a few minutes, where she has not had the best past she finds it hard to trust people but will still give it her all. I’m sure after some time Blues approach and views on people will be completely different with love and care. Although she is nervous don’t let it put you of after a few minutes and scratches she will ease into you!

The only thing I’m working on with Blue at the minute is at the moment when you mount from the ground she’s eager to get going, not silly she just figets. But each day this is improving and will most likely disappear as a habit very quickly!

Blue is ridden by one of my students who is 10 years old and she has been handled by younger she’s a great family pony.

Blue will excel in all disciplines but if you want her as a happy hacker she LOVES it, she loves exploring and will take care of her rider, on the roads, in the field and in the woods.

Contact me for loads of videos.

Her price will increase the more I do with her.

Rosie has been one of the most straight forward ponies I’ve had arrive, she hasn’t once batted an eye at machinery, dogs, open spaces, traffic and we are a busy farm!

She will stand for hours to be pampered, can be turned out with mares or geldings, happy to go first or last out hacking. Enjoys a little jump and will not hot up if the horse in front shoots off. Today she went out with our blood hound pack, was one of the most polite horses I’ve ever seen in this situation, she went in a snaffle and never pulled, jogged or behaved anything other than perfect. She would be someone’s dream hunt pony that likes to enjoy the day and not have to worry about anything at all!

Previously has been in a family home doing pony club and more recently has had a few foals and is now looking to find a wonderful new home that she can go and have fun with, she isn’t an out and out dressage horse, but will do what’s needed, however she comes into her own out hunting/fun ride/general fun pony!

Hetty the Skewbald cob does it all she rides, drives , hunts & jumps for fun. Every child’s dream pony.

Standing at 14.1hh. Hetty is an 11 year old mare that has been there done it got the t-shirt.

She’s done all pony club activities including hunter trials where she’s always willing. She absolutely Loves to hunt and will go front or back, she is not strong or silly.

Hetty is excellent to hack and bomb proof in traffic. She also drives and has a harness and cart that can be purchased separately. Hetty goes sweetly on the flat and would do a nice dressage test. She’s comfortable jumping up to 80cm but probably around 60/70 is where she is at. She’s not at all sharp or spooky.

Hetty would be a great mother/daughter share she’s an ideal second pony for someone wanting to go out and have some low level fun. She has a calm, sweet & willing attitude towards life. Great around other horses. Good doer, lives in or out. Good to clip. Travels well.

  • School Mistress ready to get on with her job with her next rider

With a heavy heart we are looking for a new 5* home for this awesome pony.

Mitchelcombe Banoffee Pie - Bonnie is a 13.2 Welsh Cob x Dartmoor

We’ve owned Bonnie for almost 2yrs and would absolutely not be looking for anything else if my daughter hadn’t grown out of her.

She schools well, has been to arena hires, XC and SJ and can turn her hoof to dressage, though it’s something my daughter is only just taking an interest in. She has done all PC activities and did Pony camp this summer and really showed what she’s capable of.

Bonnie has been out on hound exercises. She loves a job and loves to jump. She is well mannered on the ground and can live in or out but I would say she prefers out or a mix of the two. She can pull a face when you do her girth but she is just letting you know it’s not her favourite thing.

She hacks alone or in company, great in heavy traffic ,farm machinery etc
She’s great for the farrier, dentist, physio and happy to be clipped, can occasionally be reluctant to load but we have used a lunge line around her bum and she then loads straight away (we also give her a treat once she is on which helps).

Bonnie is up to date with everything. She’s had a new saddle while we’ve had her with regular checks and was recently fitted with a new bit and bridle. She is snaffle mouthed, can be strong at times but never dangerous. She is the perfect pony for someone that is a brave, confident rider who will push her to do what she loves, anyone who has this pony will be very lucky to have her.

This is a super sad sale so no time wasters, extra videos can be sent on request .

Price to include full tack and wardrobe

Price reduced as our lovely Bobby needs to find a new home as he is outgrown and new pony arrived.

We have owned Bobby for 18 months and prior to this he was in a riding school for 11 years. My daughter was 7 when we got him and still on lead rein and she has learnt how to ride off lead, to jump and to canter on Bobby. We have taken him to lots of Pony Club training sessions, rallies, PC camp and a few shows. My daughter has competed him in 3 lead rein hunter/eventer trials and he won all 3 classes in the 30cm and 40cm lead rein. He is very careful over a jump and will rarely knock a pole. Not worried by fillers or rustic fences. Hacks well in company and isn't worried about farm machinery, dogs etc. Will happily stand on the trailer or tied up at a show.

He is fantastic on the lead rein but even though he has been a first ridden for my daughter I would describe him as a second pony as he needs a more experienced rider to get the best out of him off lead. Over the past few months he has been ridden and competed by a young teenager who has had lots of fun on him and jumped him up to 70cm. In the riding school he was used for all ages and abilities from lead rein to intermediate teens.

Bobby is very easy to look after -he will happily live in or out, turned out with mares or geldings and fine to be left out alone. Good to catch, groom and bath. Very well behaved for vet and farrier - unshod. Travels well in a trailer and has travelled in a lorry previously at the riding school.

Up to date with vaccinations, teeth and worming. No known health issues.

Price includes bridle and rugs.

Hundreds of videos available to send.

12.3 approx. Much loved pony.
We have owned Dotty since a yearling. She has been shown multiple times in hand and has always been in the ribbons

Dotty is a bold and brave little mare. Always happy to lead when out long- reining. But equally happy to stay behind.

She is the sweetest pony, well mannered, who loves human attention. She’s always been a yard favourite.

Dotty comes to call and is happy to let any child bring her in from the field.

She will turn out with mares or geldings and never causes any trouble.

Professionally backed just before turning 4.

Since then, she has been ridden by my 5 year old on the lead rein, walk & trot.

Unfortunately Dotty hasn’t made the height we had hoped for. We don’t have a suitable jockey that could bring her on under saddle. I have rode her in the arena a couple of times. But I’m sadly too big and my daughter is too young and inexperienced.

I have held on my decision of selling her for over a year. She has the potential to become an amazing show pony or pony club pony, in the right hands. I feel she is sadly being wasted at the moment.

Loads well into a trailer(never tried a box)

Barefoot and perfect for the farrier.

Up to date with everything (Vaccs, teeth, physio)

No lumps,bumps or vices.

Open to vetting.

Reasonably priced as home is more important.

Experienced homes only.

Not suitable as a first pony.

Homes would be vetted.

No dealers.

Would consider swap for a bigger pony.

Made to measure bridle and brand new bates saddle available as separate negotiation.

Polly is your typical Cob - a leg in each corner! Easily takes the weight of a small adult. She is a lovely pony, easy to do and so pleasant to have around.

She will happily hack first or last and is sensible in open fields. She’s perfect for someone wanting a quieter ride and to mainly hack and do fun rides.

Bobs has been in our family for 5years. Taking my then 10 year old daughter from eventing at 70cm to 100cm. He is a very special pony to us and we can genuinely say he has been our pony of a life time; unfortunately our daughters have sadly out grown him.

Bobs has beautiful floaty paces and is schooled to a high standard. He regularly scores high 20s/low 30s. Bobs has attended all things BE and Pony Club; Championships, multiple residential camps, rally’s, competed on numerous teams for dressage, eventing, SJ, arena eventing and tetrathlon. He is a super xc pony and has been to the pony club tet champs and Moreton Morrell junior international tet 3 years in a row. He is a smart, forward pony and makes the time easily. He would suit a capable child wanting to compete competitively at 80&90.

Bobs loves to be out and about, he likes to be busy and enjoys competing. He hacks well in company but can be a little nervous around large vehicles (tractors/lorrys) He is great to load (trailer or lorry), shoe, dentist, vet etc.

He is looking for his next best friend to teach and have fun with. He will come with his custom made jump saddle & bridle plus rugs etc.

You know when parents respond to your ad and seek a pony that their 4 year old can ride down the M1, backwards, whist being chased by mid-spin washing machine and a brass band? Oh and they also want it to be of sufficient quality to show at the highest level as well as a performing seal, AND mother Teresa reincarnated ?!

Fear not - we don’t suggest taking up another hobby here ! Because this boy REALLY is a little Shetland nugget sent from god himself. And on his way down, he also managed to hit the ‘extreme good looks tree’ …
Professionally broken at the end of his third year; Squiggles has had a fun winter of hound exercise, in addition to taking part in several children’s meets … this year, he has since done everything else in between .. beach, hacking, showing, pleasure rides, fancy dress, Concours d’elegance, and some poles on the ground. Absolute gold dust sort who always has happy ears and a smile on his face. I would trust this pony with the tiniest tot both on the ground and under saddle.

Rock steady in any environment, doesn’t need plugs/calmers, doesn’t need any working in at shows. Happy with hounds underfoot, quads behind and in howling wind or sideways rain. Happy to be alone or in company in any environment. No quirks or vices, and never sick or sorry. Always in the ribbons wherever he goes and was 6th in his first ever HOYS attempt this year at Stoneleigh in horrific rain. Has also had several overall championships in hand in the breed classes.

Squiggles recently returned from a loan where he has built a 7 year old girls confidence just off the lead rein. She has gone from being nervous to confidently riding alone and trying some assisted FR classes at NPS champs, all with the biggest smile on her face.

At home my 4 year old daughter can do everything with him totally autonomously and can easily manoeuvre him around under saddle. She loves plodding him around the showgrounds after her class and sharing an ice cream. He is perfect for young handler classes for tiny tots, happy to be led around anywhere and is great at standing still.

He lives on a farm where he considers himself to be a shepherd of various asbo animals and livestock! Grooms the pigs, not bothered if a chicken hops on his back … I can think of nothing else to cover !

Out in groups he will carry on safely while others are passing and pull up easily, doesn’t get hot or silly, doesn’t join in when other horses have a ‘moment’, has been known to give a lead to big horses across water when everyone was beside themselves crossing a ford … and generally just enjoys himself and his surroundings at a steady pace. He also leads happily from our hunter.

Countless people can vouch for this pony and references are absolutely available - he truly is a hens tooth.

Hundreds of pics/videos available to seriously interested parties. If you want a dead cert to take your child along safely at any job then he’s your man.

Can be seen and tried at Concours Champs at Onley 27th September
