For your consideration-

GOLDLANDS HOUDINI (aka HENRY)

3 year old gelding to make approximately 13.3hh

Mr perfect is offered to a top home for a short time only, otherwise he will be backed here, but we feel he would love his own personal human

This pony will go all the way, a top prospect for HOYs junior classes or a small adult.

Where do we start; a true show off!

He is super to do in all ways, shows in a halter. He has shown since a weanling foal (3rd at chaps north east regional show as a 6month old), his showman streak continued from there with numerous wins & championships over the years. He’s qualified already this year for PONY OF THE YEAR SHOW 2026 & TOYs 2025, he is also entered at the great Yorkshire show this coming July, where he was 7th (highest placed 2 year old) last year in a mixed aged class of over 20 ponies. Like any of our youngsters he has not been over shown, a few successful shows a year.

Raised on a working farm, in a mixed herd, he is not fazed by anything. He’s good to travel and load in both a wagon & a trailer, good to clip/farrier/bath etc

Much loved pony being sold from field

SOLD!

  • 8 year old coloured gelding who is suitable as a second pony
Very sad sell of our much loved Patchy (or would consider full loan (lwvtb) to stay at current yard in Oxted, Surrey) due to him being outgrown by my daughter.

Due to lack of rider he has not been ridden since the beginning of the year, so being sold from field.

Patch is a 14h, 8 year old coloured gelding who is suitable as a second pony - not a novice ride. With a confident rider he has so much potential.

We have had him for 3 years and my daughter was riding him from 9 years old. Although as he has now been out of work for many months he will need an experienced owner to slowly bring him back into work and improve his current fitness.

Great all rounder, although does prefer to hack with company and he definitely takes his confidence from his rider.

He loved his work in the school but is known to put in an excited buck when initially being asked to canter.

Good to handle and up to date with all vaccinations, farrier (currently barefoot), dentist, worming. No health issues.

Vices - he can be grumpy in his stable and is dominant with food. Once you take him out of the stable though he is very relaxed and will stand for ages to be groomed and fussed

Being sold with tack.

This has been a very difficult decision, so please only genuine interest as he will only go to the right person.

TGCA registered piebald cob mare

Barbie is a 12hh 3 year old mare who came to me in Nov 24, she's a super sweet friendly girl who had been lightly backed (not by me!) and I turned her away for winter.

She has lived out all winter in North Uist unrugged and with no issues, but equally is happy to be stabled. She happily turns out in a mixed herd and is currently living with 3 geldings.

Not mareish at all, great with farrier and vet and enjoys a groom. Very used to children and all the noise they make along with the unpredictable screams and bangs, totally unfazed.

When she came to me Initially she was very shy and wary of people, but full of confidence now and always first to the gate when called. Very easy to catch, superb to lead and easy to work with.

Barbie is offered for sale now but will be resuming her education in summer if not sold and her price will go up then to reflect this.

She has not seen the dentist yet with me but is booked for July when he visits, I have not loaded her but was told she loaded perfectly to travel here in the lorry.

She is only for sale as she is the result of a mis sale, was sold to me as older and bigger than she is and I therefore have no rider for her, otherwise she'd be staying.

Will come with tack including personalised saddle pad, Zoe Snape pad and her bridle, plus auchergree Clydesdales leg oil plus for her feathers.

Located in Western isles, happy to assist with making travel arrangements to the mainland and can do video viewings, face time etc

Sadly for sale after 4 years with the same family.

Rafferty is a lovely little character who is looking for a job! Be that as companion or as a ridden pony.

He is easy to do, can be a pickle to catch in a big field so smaller fields are best, that being said he will come and say hello and the influence of a well behaved horse would help!

Previously sent away to be backed but lack of rider meant his education did not continue.

He has been sat on and lead about by my daughter this week and she’s done some ground work with him…. but is very much sold as a a project pony / companion as we don’t have the time to back him.

Teeth upto date.

Vaccinations sadly lapsed but he has been in a private home.

Wormed to date.

Good to groom and lead about, respects electric fencing.

Good home sought for this little lad and open to offers to get him a nice home this summer.

WR10 area.

  • Skelwith Don’t Rain On My Parade ("Rain")
  • Born: 25/05/2021 | Height: 14.1–14.2hh (to make 14.3–15hh)
  • Passported with the Welsh Pony & Cob Society & stamped by British Palomino Society

Rain is a beautiful, rising 4-year-old palomino Welsh Section D mare with the sweetest temperament and heaps of potential. She’s bold, inquisitive, and has that “old head on young shoulders” quality that’s so hard to find. Rain adores people, attention, and always wants to be involved—she’s a real character and a joy to have around.

Breeding to impress:
By the striking cremello stallion Ynyslyns Orlando (SPSS & AES graded, 15hh), the only Welsh D graded by AES—highlighting serious potential for sport.
Out of Floreat Rainbow (14.3hh), daughter of the legendary Floreat Dandelion—HOYS champion, Royal Welsh 3rd (2009), and Olympia finalist.

Handled with care and experience:
Rain has been shown in-hand since a yearling, always coming home in the ribbons, with judges praising her straight, active movement and calm nature. She’s qualified for the MIDARC Championships and Northern Lights Showing Masters twice and was Talent Spotted at a Showing Register clinic for the Rising Star Finals.
She’s done pole work and obstacle clinics in hand and even tackled small XC fences at Lincomb Equestrian—cool as a cucumber! Rain has also experienced quiet hacking in-hand and has taken traffic, machinery, canal bridges and more in her stride.

Not yet backed, but she lunges well in walk, trot and halt, has worn a saddle, and even had a little sit-on from my 9-year-old daughter in the stable—all without fuss. Rain is confident, willing, and ready to begin the next chapter of her training.
Good to:

  • Catch
  • Handle
  • Travel
  • Live out or stable
  • Farrier (barefoot with strong, healthy feet)
  • Mix with mares & geldings
  • Tie up, groom & fuss

Rain is up to date with teeth (wolf teeth removed), worming, vaccinations, and has been professionally fitted with a bit and anatomical bridle—both included in the sale.
Rain will make someone a truly special riding partner—be it showing, pleasure, or low-level sport. She’s kind, honest, and well-handled, with a solid foundation for backing.

Vettings welcome.
5* home is absolutely essential and will be vetted—she deserves the very best.

  • Superb Allrounder - BS, Pony Club, NSEA, ODEs, PC Dressage, Hunted, PC Racing, Polo

Coloured mare, 16YO, 13.1HH (could possibly measure down, but we started off not pursuing BS, so never invested time on topic.)

Sweetie ("Sweetie Heart") is the perfect all rounder pony, extremely versatile, performing well at show jumping, eventing, dressage, hunting, BS, Pony Club and NSEA, pony racing at Cheltenham and even some beginner polo with the Beaufort Polo Club. She recently won the British Showjumping Bronze League in the South West region.

My son loves show jumping and Sweetie has been the perfect schoolmaster to take him up from unaffiliated 60cm up the grades to affiliated 85cm, but sadly he has now outgrown her. She is very genuine. She is safely forward and fun, with excellent brakes. She has proven to be fast against the clock, mainly owing to her ability to turn on a sixpence without unbalancing her jockey and forever willing to help him out to get to the finish line. My son regularly competed straight out of boarding school and is not the bravest of riders, but they have brought home countless rosettes and numerous qualifications and he has formed a strong bond with this super little pony. I have always stopped him competing over 85cm affiliated, but have watched her pop 1m15 Chase me Charlie!

One Day Eventing - she loves cross country and will happily jump into water, over coffins, trakehners, skinnies, whatever is asked of her and easily makes the time. She produces a lovely dressage test, placed in the PC Dressage Championships, and is easy to get on the bit and into a nice rhythm. She is well schooled and ridden regularly by a small pro. He hasn’t done a lot of ODEs on her, but has always been placed. She was 3rd individually at Rectory Farm ODE 70cm 2023 with 73% Dressage (against adults - same course as the PC Champs, following day); Shipton Moyne Beaufort Pony Club ODE, Team 2nd. He has regularly schooled her over 80/85cm.

She has hunted with the VWH and jumped everything asked of her. My son has done a few lessons at the Beaufort Polo Club and she was unfazed, sharp off the leg, and loved every minute of it!

She has been incredibly well cared for with us, without exception, including regular worming, vaccinations, dentistry, physio and is healthy and sound. She is easy to clip, shoe, worm, lunge, lead off / lead (even off a bicycle, responding beautifully to canter, wow, etc.). I'm looking for a home who are set up and able to ensure her cherished lifestyle continues as deserved. Company and all year turn out is important to me personally as something all our horses enjoy.

Open to vetting. Based near Chippenham / Malmesbury, Wiltshire.

Vices - she is not a pony that loves to be fussed and cuddled. No malice and never bites or kicks, just prefers her own space. She prefers to travel with another (does not like trailers), though we have regularly taken her to shows alone, including stay-overs.

I would love to keep this pony forever as we all adore her, so this will be a heartbreaking sale for us, but my son has definitely outgrown her. She needs a new jockey to take her reins and have some fun! The home is very important to us and will be vetted. We would love to keep in touch. Please no amateurs, she is a competition pony.

Perdita's Jazz Man aka 'Soli' is a fully registered, full up 42 inch (10.2hh) standard shetland gelding.

We have owned Soli for over 3 years, during which time he has done a bit of everything including; Showjumping, Pony Club, Hacking, Trips to the gallops, Camps and stay away shows. Soli would be best suited to a home where he gets to do plenty of different things, he will get bored if ridden in the school every day and likes to do plenty of hacking to break up the school work.

Soli's ideal home would be with a confident, fun loving rider who is looking for a fun best friend to enjoy. Whilst Soli has been ridden by beginners and lead rein and is perfectly safe, he doesn't enjoy this full time and loves the chance to go faster with someone more competent. With this in mind, he would also be well suited to a family with children of varying ages.

Soli is always ridden in a snaffle and is used to hacking in big open spaces as well as in all kinds of traffic. He can do the occasional excitable hop if doing something exciting but is never dangerous. You can give him a month off and hop straight back on as if he were ridden yesterday.

Sad sale of a much loved member of our family but he is now very much outgrown and deserves to be loved by his next family. We are in no rush, only the best home will be considered for our special boy.

12 years old piebald traditional cob mare. She would make a fabulous companion, pet and lead rein pony!

She has a passport and microchip, she is fully vaccinated for flu and tetanus. She’s up to date with teeth, farrier and worming.

I rescued her two years ago with a young foal at foot, she was in a bad way when I found her but is now unrecognisable in every sense from the horse that came to me.

She is such a special little soul and I will only let her go to the perfect home, after everything she has been through in her life before I found her, I need to know that she has found a home for life.

I ride her in walk and trot and she is a very quiet and steady ride. But unfortunately I am too tall (I am 5ft10) to progress her ridden work any further. I have however been teaching my nieces to ride on her, the twins are 6 and the eldest is 10 and all three are complete beginners. She has proven to be a brilliant lead rein pony and is very patient with them, it has been so lovely to see her looking after them.

I do have her bitless and am more than happy to explain why to anyone that is interested in her. She is very well mannered and good to handle. She happily lives in or out.

I won’t sell her unseen and homes will be vetted. She deserves to find her forever where she will be safe and loved for the rest of her days. I am in absolutely no rush, just patiently waiting for her special person to find us. And in the meantime I will continue to teach my nieces on her.

No dealers, time wasters, no loans or payment plans. Forever homes only please. Serious enquiries only.

Very lightly backed, done via hacking as we don’t have an arena. Although he is very low mileage, he has seen a lot and is very use to big machinery and traffic.

He is currently out of work as I don’t have the time to work him consistently, but he would be absolutely fine to chuck tack back on and start again.

He is good as gold with vet, dentist, farrier and to load/travel.

He would make a perfect pony club/allrounder for a child, he has proven to be more of a kick-alone

Dear Peanut, 12.1hh 6yo Piebald gelding, superstar in the making.

Huge amounts of potential. A sweetheart in all ways (easiest pony I have ever come across). Just wants to please.

Over the past few months, Peanut has been taken out show jumping, showing (fancy dress as well!), cross country, on and off the lead rein.

Hacks alone or in company, never silly or strong, has seen traffic, big machinery, absolutely fine. Good in open spaces, happy to stay with friends or ride on his own (when asked to do so). Been out on exercise and brilliantly mannered with hounds, stays up front or goes behind. Should make a good hunting pony on or off the lead rein.

Driven by children in his previous home.

Great on the ground, loves cuddles, manners to burn. Super to clip, shoe, on the box and trailer. Was very behaved for the dentist (references available).

Whilst he is still young and green schooling, he's shown he's safe, willing to learn and potential to burn, and with make a super pony club pony with a few more miles under his belt.

Lives out currently, no history of laminitis. Happily left on his own or with a friend when he comes in the stables.

Bridle, saddle and rugs included

Loads of pictures and videos available upon request.

BRYNBACK PEGGY SUE

Registered DUN WPBR mare. Welsh section D x Up to height 13.3H rising 9 years.

Low mileage, no previous history known. I have owned Peggy sue since autumn of last year and I feel she is best suited to a hacking/ pleasure riding home. She's a forward plod type won't challenge anyone in a race but she'd win a beauty contest. We have dabbled at in-hand showing where she was foot perfect and goes very well in-hand potentially this is something she has done previously. She's a pleasure to be around.

To ride Peggy sue is responsive to the leg. She is wide as she is tall and forward not strong or silly. Enjoys going for a blast and hacks alone and in company. Not traffic shy however we are very rural so haven't seen any red busses yet! She's the sort you ride on the buckle the whole way. Goes first or last and happy with the dogs in tow ! Will pop logs and climb steep hills ..

Excellent to catch, groom, lead, bath, load, shoe etc slightly fussy to clip due to the noise of the clippers but the clipping part fine. Currently barefoot and wormed to date. Lives in or out in a mixed herd. No blemishes or sarcoids, allergies or scars. Teeth have been done this year.

**Peggy has shown to be girth shy not always and it's easily managed and kept at bay with simply not rushing. She is a statue to mount and won't move till asked. At worst she will swish her tail and raise her back slightly so would potentially put off a nervous or novice home. Ideally looking for a home who wants a horse they can pick up and drop, enjoy long rides out with friends and a friend to fuss over. Or equally she would be a fabulous broodmare due to her temperament.

  • Alfie is the perfect companion for someone looking to have fun

Not suitable as a first pony.

Alfie is the perfect companion for someone looking to have fun. Although he has three beautiful paces and showring potential, Alfie’s heart lies in goofing about. He adores learning and performing tricks and has an incredibly sharp and active mind. He gets bored sitting in the paddock and enjoys having a job to do.

Super hacking pony, he could explore for days! Great in traffic and on roads, doesn't bat an eye at any farm machinery, but he is on the sensitive side when it comes to oddly shaped bushes, therefore needs somebody confident to hold his hand.

His flatwork is strong, I could see him making a cute little dressage pony. Goes 99% of the time in a bitless bridle or rope halter, and the other 1% in a snaffle. He has a lovely jump, although it’s not his favourite activity. Jumped to 80cm with rider.

No dirt (rear/buck/bolt etc), the most he will do is stamp his front foot if he is dissatisfied.

Alfie is an absolute Labrador, he loves humans and being mischievous. Suited to a laidback home where his personality is able to shine through and he won't be forced to do something he doesn’t enjoy. Alfie is incredibly capable, his talents range from liberty work all the way to lateral.

Will only consider a home with other horses. Kind, experienced owners are a must.

Home more important than price.
