Mo is that hard to find, versatile & proven Pony Club pony who has mastered every PC discipline but is now hopelessly outgrown. He has taken his jockey from a nervous 6yr old to a confident and capable 11yr old on so many adventures & taught her so much.

Mo has many strings to his bow including selections for numerous teams including - NI schools jumping teams, PC area eventing team, PC area SJ team, PC games team, NI Polocrosse team and selection for Team Ireland participating in the Four Nations Championships 2023 in England. He was again selected for the 2024 team.

He was on the winning Area 17 PC eventing team qualifying for Auchlishie, Scotland where they picked up a top 10 finish in UK PC eventing.
He finished individual 5th in the Area 17 home Championships and qualified & finished top 5 in the Northern Ireland rising stars SJ finals.

He has attended PC camps, both junior and senior, stay away shows, Balmoral show, PC Spring Barrier Festival in all 3 disciplines and has already qualified for this year’s Festival on their 1st attempt.

Mo is super smart with a quick brain who adores jumping, he will happily pop around x poles but over larger fences is when Mo really comes into his own. He has masses of scope and is amazing against the clock. He has many wins and placings never coming home without a ribbon.

Mo will produce a lovely pleasing dressage test and is mannerly & responsive to aids. He is forward yet safe and will step it up or down according to his riders ability. He rides in a snaffle for dressage and SJ and a Wilkie for XC.

Mo adores the beach and forest rides, he hacks out alone and in company unfazed by traffic or farm machinery.

He will take a child safely over any hunting country & is mannerly with hounds. His love of XC is evident as he never says no to a fence including ditches, banks and water. He is super clever and light on his feet keeping him out of trouble. He has hunted with Route Hunt in Northern Ireland with pictures and videos available.

Mo has no vices and is lovely to do in all ways, he’s excellent to shoe (hot or cold) bath and clip. He travels in a trailer, 3.5 or 7.5 lorry and is handled and loaded by the children. He loves a cuddle and fuss from his people. He is tidy in his stable when in and always comes cantering in from the field when called. He can live in or out with mares or geldings, he’s everybody’s friend.

He is simply an awesome little dude who deserves the very best of homes where he can continue teaching kids how to ride correctly and have the best fun doing so.

Finding the right home is of the utmost importance for us as he is one very special pony. Based in Co. Down, N.I, transport can be arranged.
He is up to date with vaccinations & dentist and will come with a full wardrobe of rugs as well as his tack.
Open to any vetting & PC references can be made available if requested.

  • Fun sassy pony

Due to personal reasons I’m having to give up Horses so I’m looking for the best home for my 13’1 Sassy Cob x mare. She’s 19yrs old. Been there done it type.

She would be perfect for someone wanting to do lots of hacking. Fun rides, bit of jumping (which she absolutely loves) and maybe the odd day hunting.

She goes out on her own and with company and fantastic in traffic.

She does need restricted grazing as she had laminitis around 10 years ago. She gets on well with others but she does need a few weeks to get used to them, so would need to be kept separate for the initial a few weeks.

She’s good to shoe (fronts only), box, clip. Up-to-date with everything. Lives on fresh air (although she’ll tell you different). I’m looking for a forever Home for her. She is not ready to retire yet and has plenty of years left in her. She’s happy to live in or out.

The only downside to her, she does sometimes drag you when being led. I find with a lead rope her nose while leading she doesn’t do this.

Experienced Home only. No novices - Homes will be FULLY vetted.

Fabulous little pony and a proper mini competition pony. She’s done Pony Club, mini XC rallies, unaffiliated jumping, hacking, and showing.

More kick than pull

She can be nervous on the ground and doesn’t enjoy too much fuss, so would suit a confident rider and ideally be a 1.5 pony.

Very sadly for sale as daughter has lost interest.

TWEEDFELL THE DUCHESS - By Asby Mills Warrior

Dolly is a stunning, minimally marked contender for the ridden HOYS open / junior classes. She has lots of presence, is light on her feet and has a lovely, kind temperament

She is 2yo (3 at the beginning of Feb 2026) and currently stands 13.1-13.2hh

I have given Dolly an excellent start to her education and she is good to trim, bath, oil, tie up, and she leads in and out of the field quietly either by herself or as a pair with another youngster

She has lived out all year with a shelter, but is equally happy to come into a stable

She has been brilliantly behaved at shows (been to 2), trotting out beautifully and is easy to hold in a halter. She didn’t bat an eyelid today being stood whilst big lorries and other ponies went by ??

She has qualified for the youngstock final at CHAPS Championships and is also available with the entry to Lincolnshire Show & the Great Yorkshire Show

Can be viewed 30 mins ish from Arena UK (Near Retford, just off the A1)

Cerys is a lovely mare who needs further education after not doing alot in her younger years due to no fault of her own she is owned by a elderly lady who breeds them and is unable to work them now she's getting older she came to me last summer and from then till now she's attended fun rides dressage shows, schooled cross county and hacked across fells

She's proving brave to a fence and a trainable attitude she's still green in her canter work but this is coming along daily !

She is absolutely definitely a 2nd pony, she is a fast pony who likes to get on with the job so would suit a child who would like a up for it pony or adult to go have fun on!

Her last dressage test she received 6s &7s with comments she just needs to be more consistent in her out line which will come with more strength, she's brave Xc jumping banks coffins etc and she has a excellent gallop

Selling due to needing more time to put in the breakers now

She's alot of pony for someone who's not got 10's of £ !!

  • Good to hack alone or in company
  • Working well in the school

8yo 14hh cremello Connemara mare by Ross Fear Bui who is by the legendary Templebready Fear Bui, who has had multiple successful off spring including 11x 3*L eventers & 2x 1.60 nations cup show jumpers, as of 2018 67 of his offspring were registered with British Eventing & he was 41st on the British Eventing’s top 50 sire rankings before he passed away.

Cora was broken in as a 4yo & due to her special breeding has since been used as a broodmare, she came to me 3 weeks ago to be restarted under saddle again.

She has been foot perfect to get going again, has hacked alone & in company, is good in traffic & safe in open spaces.

She’s started doing some light schooling & seems to have a very trainable brain & attitude picking it up very easily.

She has seen logs out hacking & a few coloured poles in the school, proving to have some scope but is still quite green in this department due to her inexperience but will no doubt be able to excell in this sphere with some time.

Cora is quiet enough that she has been led down the road with a small 8yo & a 3yo on her back, she’s one of those ponies that can adjust depending on who’s on top!

Cora would be ideal for a teenager looking for a summer project or a mother daughter share.

Dudley Doodle - 130cm (potentially could measure in as a 128cm), 9 years old

Great to hack, shoe, bath & clip (needs sedating for legs)

We’ve had Rocco for nearly a year but unfortunately our daughter has grown quicker than expected and now needs the next step up.

Rocco before coming to us he was based at a show centre so is used to a busy environment, he has seen fillers and coloured poles and these are never a problem to him.

Rocco is more of a second pony as he is forward going, he wouldn’t be suitable for a complete novice. Although our other daughter rides him who isn’t really into riding and he always behaves impeccably and looks after her and really steps down a gear.

He is never nasty, but is a forward going ride and likes to get on with the job, he enjoys his work and is always up for a challenge.

He has competed in the in-house competitions based at the Livery Yard where we keep him, he’s competed up to 75cm with ease, and has gas in the tank for more. He’s popped over 1m+ so definitely untapped potential for the right rider.

He has also done a few dressage competitions and does a lovely test, but just not my daughter’s thing! Rocco is brilliant to hack alone or in company, also great in open spaces.

On the ground he prefers to be handled by children, he can pull a face at adults but seems to be more settled around kids. My girls do everything with him and never really have help from adults, he is fine to bath, he’s fine to clip but will need sedating for his legs.

Rocco is up to date with jabs, teeth and we’ve had him looked over last week and he’s all good to go but still open to vetting. Comes with tack.

We want a 5* for Rocco and would like to stay in touch.

Message on WhatsApp for more information.

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.

Rosie is a kind-hearted mare currently seeking a loving home through our Home2Home scheme, due to a change in circumstances with her current borrower. She is a lovely girl with so much potential and would be a perfect companion for someone willing to give her the time and patience she deserves.

Rosie is a sweet natured mare, with the possibility of being backed once she’s settled into her new environment. She has the potential to be a wonderful children's pony, given the right guidance and care. Rosie can be kept out 24/7, or she can live part-stabled depending on what works best for her new home.

Rosie does have a bit of an anxious side, so she will thrive best with a handler who is patient and understanding. She is looking for someone who will provide reassurance and the time she needs to feel safe and secure. With the right handling, Rosie’s true personality will shine, and she’ll grow even more confident in her new home.

Rosie does require restricted grazing, so careful attention to her diet and grazing routine will be necessary to ensure she stays in good health.

If you think you could be the right match for Rosie and are ready to offer her the patience, reassurance, and love she needs, please reach out to us. Rosie truly deserves a home where she can flourish and bring joy to her new family.
