Kildromin Star is a 15hh, 6 year old, fully registered Connemara gelding.

We imported Star ourselves as a 4 year old and have owned him for the past 2 and a half years. In this time he has been given a steady, consistent start to life which has enabled him to be a happy, confident boy ready to head out into the world.

Star has done a little bit of everything including pony club rallies, clinics, arena hires, cross country schooling, arena cross country, unaffiliated showjumping and this summer attended pony club camp where he was a complete star from beginning to end.

He is so versatile that he would excel in any sphere. He'd suit a confident teenager for a pony club horse or a competitive eventing home, and everything in between!

Due to his age, Star does need a competent, balanced rider. He has never reared, bronced or bolted and has only ever had a very very rare, small, excited buck. He doesn't have a bad bone in his body and is never nasty. Always snaffle mouthed and not at all buzzy, a nice mix of woah and go. He can be worried by an unbalanced rider so a calm, balanced rider is essential. Hacks well in company or following a person on foot but can be anxious alone in unfamiliar places.

He is easy to handle, shoe, load, travel etc etc. Turns out in a mixed herd. Up to date with everything. Sad, genuine sale as rider is now off to residential college.

Star will come with all tack and rugs included.

Walter is sired by the Class 1 Supreme Champion Fear An Ti, a 4x HOYS Finalist, BE90 winner, BD winner and 2x Royal Welsh Champion, whose sire is the famous Gwennic De Goariva who needs no introduction. Walter’s dam lines also include Templebready Bo’sun and Monaghanstown Boy.

A very exciting 4-year-old prospect who has been given plenty of time to mature and has never been pushed. He has lived out since he was a yearling and was lightly broken this spring, proving to be very straightforward to ride and showing a super neat jump in front with a great back end.

During his short time under saddle he has hacked out both alone and in company, happily cantering in fields, popped barrels and logs and taken everything in his stride. He has then been left to mature over the summer.

He is now ready to be brought back into work over the winter and for someone to put their own stamp on him with the aim of hitting the novice circuit next season.

This is a very sad sale of a top pony with huge potential. I want to find him a kind, knowledgeable home who will give him the time and opportunity to reach his full potential.

No timewasters please. Serious enquiries only.

Barnsview Silver Lady

Dori is a 148cm 8-year-old Connemara type mare (unrecorded breeding), who I have owned since early 2024. She has been slowly and correctly produced during this time and is now ready to find her next person.

Dori is a talented, versatile and genuine little mare who really does have the best of both worlds. She works well on the flat with correct paces good transitions and lateral work (shoulder in and leg yield). She is capable of turning it up and taking you confidently round a course, whilst also being sensible enough to take your grandma for a hack! I have put my novice mum on her and happily taken them out hacking on busy roads with no concerns.

I have done a bit of everything with Dori, including unaffiliated eventing, dressage, showjumping, hunting, beach rides and plenty of hacking. She is incredibly easy to take out and about — I regularly load her up on my own and head off to the beach without a second thought. She has also been to camps and stayed away overnight at my instructor’s yard for lessons, taking everything completely in her stride. She has qualified for the unaffiliated 90s and 1m showjumping championships at Aintree too. However, although she has done a bit of everything, she has not been hammered and has been produced with her longevity in mind.

Dori is a lovely and easy mare to have around and a real yard favourite. She has a fantastic personality and is a pleasure to handle. She is good with other horses and can be ridden and led or lead another horse from her. She is not marish and is equally happy being turned out in a herd or on her own.

She is a very safe and sensible mare, while still being forward and athletic. She has a lovely attitude to her work and is always keen to please.

I feel Dori would be particularly well suited to a Pony Club or a BS home. She has plenty of potential in showjumping but is versatile enough to turn her hoof to pretty much anything. I think she would be a fantastic pony for someone wanting to progress through the levels, attend Pony Club activities, compete or simply have fun.

This is an incredibly hard and sad decision. I absolutely adore Dori and she has been a huge part of my life over the last few of years. However, at 23, I feel I have reached the stage where a horse would be more suitable for me. I would love to find Dori a home where her talent can be enjoyed and developed.

Homes will be carefully considered for this special mare. I am looking for someone who will love her as much as I do and give her the knowledgeable, active and caring home she deserves.

Flying Flicka

Older schoolmistress that will look after anyone who rides her, either round a course of jumps, around cross country, out hacking alone or in company, in any traffic. she is totally bombproof in every way. She truly is worth her weight in gold. Your granny could hack her out and be totally safe.

Flicka is an absolute sweetheart and a true second pony who is looking for her next little person to love. She is the kindest, safest and most genuine pony, with a lovely temperament and a heart of gold. She is the type of pony who gives her rider confidence and looks after them in every aspect.

Flicka is safe and sensible in all aspects and is happy doing whatever is asked of her. She is brilliant in the school, out hacking alone or in company, and at shows. She is never nasty or difficult and is always willing to please. She is a fantastic confidence giver and would be ideal for a child coming off their first pony who wants something they can enjoy, learn and progress with.

She can be ridden by riders of all abilities and would make a wonderful mother-and-daughter share. She is equally happy having a quiet day hacking or going out and having some fun at a show. She has been a much-loved member of our family and is the sort of pony that is becoming increasingly difficult to find.

This is an incredibly hard sale for us and one we never thought we’d have to make, but with me stepping up onto horses, we feel it is time for Flicka to find her next little person. We are looking for a 5⭐️ home where she will be loved and treated as one of the family, as she truly deserves nothing less.

⭐ TROY ⭐

Outstanding Connemara gelding | Professionally backed | Riding away | All-rounder / Working Hunter prospect

Troy is a seriously lovely young Connemara with exceptional breeding, a fabulous temperament and a very exciting future ahead of him.

By the well-known stallion Kilberan Mike, Troy is a fantastic example of the type his progeny are renowned for — kind, sensible, intelligent, trainable and willing, with that all-important “wow factor”.

He has now been professionally backed and is riding away beautifully. Troy is happy to hack alone or in company, has three lovely paces and is not spooky in the slightest. He has a wonderfully sensible attitude and is proving to be a genuine, straightforward young horse who wants to please. He is working happily also in the school.

Troy has been exceptionally well handled from the ground and is easy to do in every way. He leads in and out of the field, is good to groom and have his feet trimmed, and loads well. He has a lovely trusting nature and is a real pleasure to have around.

His breeding is a huge attraction, with Class 1 throughout his pedigree. He has plenty of bone, good conformation and that lovely traditional Connemara stamp.

We feel Troy has all the ingredients to make a superb all-rounder or working hunter, and he has the quality and attitude to turn his hoof to a variety of disciplines. He would be an ideal prospect for someone wanting to put their own stamp on a talented young horse and produce him through the levels.

Troy is not spooky, sharp or difficult — he is a kind, sensible and willing horse with a lovely brain.

He also comes with a recent two-stage vetting certificate.

A very exciting opportunity to acquire a beautifully bred Connemara with a fantastic temperament, three lovely paces and a bright future ahead of him.

Professionally backed • Riding away • Hacks alone & in company • 3 lovely paces • Sensible & unspooky • Class 1 pedigree • Recent 2-stage vetting

Troy is now ready for his next person and is sure to give someone an awful lot of fun. ❤️

Beautiful fully registered grey Connemara mare with a lovely temperament and a great all-round education. She is a quality Connie with plenty of scope, presence, and a kind attitude.

She hunted last season with 3 different riders with Louth Hunt and proved herself sensible and willing across country. She has also attended training shows, competed in SJ and XC at Killossery Lodge Stud, and has done a small amount of dressage. Working Hunter at the Riding Club prefestival event at Cheval. Schooled in cross country at Carlanstown. Comfortably jumping 80s in training shows. Schooled in 90s to 1mtr. Showing great potential. Forward but honest and genuine.

Has been ridden in lessons by a 14-year-old, showing her genuine nature and rideability. She hacks out happily alone or in company and is good to handle on the ground.

Stunning registered Connemara gelding by the famous Western Boy who has sired many top ponies.

Class 1 breeding throughout his pedigree. Should not go overheight standing a fraction under 14.1hh now at 3 years age.

Has the most beautiful temperament and acts way beyond his years. Always the first to the gate to great you, and follows you round the paddock for a fuss!

He has been lightly backed and hacked out a couple of time over summer. Now turned away to grow on over the autumn / winter months. He has been shown in hand locally, where he won both his classes and reserve in hand champion. He behaved impeccably and was a pleasure to take out.

Havanna is such a dream to have on the yard. He is a kind pony and just wants to please. Perfect to catch, load, travel. Has been excellent in all traffic met to date. Would stand for hours to be groomed, bathed, plaited and fussed over. He picks up all 4 feet and is good for the farrier. My 9 year old daughter deals with him at home and he looks after her.

A gentleman in the stable, but his current routine is out at grass full time in a mixed herd of 5.

I would love him to go to a showing home, but equally a happy hacking home would be fine. He just needs to find a home where he is loved and adored as much as he is here. Sadly with 5 other ponies I cannot keep them all going into winter

14.2hh 2020 Class 1 Connemara Gelding

🌟Serious Top Competition Pony Prospect

I’ve been putting this off for a while, but i’m putting the feelers out for Larry to find his next home😓

Larry is a beautifully bred, quality Connemara gelding by Mirah Junior (Westside Mirah) out of Cashelhill Lady. He is a lovely stamp of the breed with correct conformation and a huge amount of ability to excel in any discipline. I have owned Larry since he was a rising 3 year old and have produced him entirely myself, so full history known.

Larry is a dream to ride with three balanced, quality paces. He learns incredibly quickly and genuinely wants to please his rider. Established in his basic lateral work, mediums, collection, walk to canter etc. Starting to learn his flying changes. His paces and way of going are regularly complimented by dressage and show judges. He is nicely off the leg without being sharp and will happily step up or down a gear depending on his rider. He can have weeks off and come back exactly the same. Been ridden by junior rider and was foot perfect. To jump he is naturally careful and athletic, jumps off any stride. Unfazed by fillers, ditches, steps etc. Hacks alone or in company and is 100% in the heaviest of traffic. He may have a look at the occasional silly thing, but always goes forward with a little encouragement from his rider. I regularly hack him for miles on my own without any issues.

This year has been his first full competition season, competing in showjumping, working hunter, one day events, hunter trials and dressage. Competed and won at 90cm showjumping and working hunter. Happily jumping 1m courses when training. Plenty of scope to progress further with more experience. He competed at the ESUK Championships at the end of July, placing in all 7 classes he entered. He was Champion in the M&M WHP and Reserve Champion in the WHP evening performance🥇🥈. Also, often winning and getting Champion to Resrve champion in local riding club shows. He would really hold his own at the bigger shows.

Came 3rd in his first ever ode leading the dressage on 27, double clear with some planned time faults xc. I really feel he could excel as a top event pony with more experience.

He is an absolute pleasure at competitions, easy to handle, settled in himself and happy to stand on the trailer. He is a talented, versatile pony who could excel across multiple disciplines and has all the talent to become a serious top level competition pony with more experience.

Larry is such a friendly pony who absolutely loves attention and wants to be your best friend. He is a genuine pleasure to have around, a real yard favourite. Good to catch, load, travel, dentist, farrier, currently barefoot with excellent feet. Can still be nervous to clip so does require sedation to be clipped. Up to date with vaccinations, farrier, physio and dentist. No previous injuries. Lives in or out, currently living out with 2 my two mares, gets along perfectly with other horses.

Larry has a bright future ahead of him and if he were two hands bigger, he wouldn’t be going anywhere. No novices please as he is still a young pony and needs a competent, sympathetic rider who can continue his education and get the best out of him. Home is much more important than price, and I am in no rush to sell, I will make sure the home is right for him. I am simply putting feelers out now due to moving yards and not having an arena for the winter. Plenty of videos available upon request.

Bobby – 4yo Connemara Gelding

Approx. 14.1hh

Super smart 4yo Connemara gelding, broken in this summer and now ready for someone to continue his education and put their own stamp on.

Bobby is a fun, forward-thinking young pony who really enjoys his work. He has three lovely paces and is progressing well in the school, while still being understandably green at his age and stage of education.

He is an absolute dream to hack out. He has done plenty of hacking in company, has also hacked alone and is good in traffic. He has been XC schooling, where he happily had a go at everything asked of him. He hasn’t done a huge amount of jumping otherwise, so there is plenty still to develop.

Bobby is good to handle and good for the farrier. He has never been clipped.

He is a lovely quality young Connemara with plenty of ability and a great attitude. A genuine blank canvas who could be fabulous in any sphere and an exciting prospect for someone wanting a talented young pony to produce their own way.

Bobby will only be sold to a confident, competent home who can continue his education correctly and give him every opportunity to fulfil his potential.

Glenlo Beatrix “Trixie” is a stunning 4-year-old, 148cm Class 1 Connemara mare, grey roan and N/N HWSD.

Trixie is a lovely, straightforward mare who is easy to do in every way. She is good to box, shoe and clip, and is a pleasure to have around the yard. She hacks out happily alone or in company and is extremely quiet and sensible in traffic.

She has already enjoyed an impressive start to her ridden and show career:

• Reserve Champion in the Connemara Pony Discovery Class (4 & 5 Year Olds) at the NE Connemara Pony Breeders Show

• Numerous wins and placings in hand as a 3-year-old

• Teeth, worming and vaccinations all up to date

Trixie has a lovely temperament combined with quality, substance and excellent Connemara type. She is a very promising young mare with plenty of potential to progress in the show ring, working hunter, riding/pony club or as a performance pony.

She would also be a valuable addition to a breeding programme in the future, carrying a much sought-after pedigree by Glencarrig Knight (Clifden Champion) and out of a mare by Linsfort Barney.

A quality young mare with a bright future, Trixie is ready for someone to take on and enjoy her next chapter.
