Eli is bred in the purple, his dam Menai Eliza Rose a 3/4 sister to under saddle Royal Welsh winner “Menai Euro Star” and his sire Royal Welsh winner and celebrated stock getter “Gwenllan Deio”.

He hasn’t been pushed at all over the winter and has been allowed to mature naturally. He has started his education and is nicely long reining round the yard! He is a pleasure to do in the stable, never coltish or bolshy and always eager to please, and with his outstanding movement I am sure he has a very exciting future ahead of him.

His breeding is in the purple as his Sire (Shilstone Rocks Snowy Mountain) won Supreme Ridden stallion of the year in 2016 at the Dartmoor Championship Show, qualifying for HOYS for a third time. Shilstone Rocks Snowy Mountains; Dam: Shilstone Rocks Masada our foundation mare (who has Merit Mare status, awarded by the Dartmoor Pony Society) is dam of Newoak Furious (HOYS Winner 2018 and Best of Breed at Olympia 2018).

This pony needs to go to someone who will cherish him for years like we have, so a 5* home is essential for this pony.

This is such a sad sale of our beautiful Homer

We bought him as an unbroken 3 rising 4 year old stallion

My daughter broke and schooled him herself. He is excellent to handle, good in the stable, clip and with farrier. He rides out on his own or in company, good in traffic and will turn out with geldings

He qualified for Royal International 2017 and 2018 and has been very well placed in his HOYS qualifiers, narrowly missing his ticket at the breed show last year

We will be very sad to see him being sold, being realistic, my daughter has grown too tall to ride him and she is absolutely devastated as she loves him so much. So please no time wasters
