Experienced private owner offering a genuine 5?? long-term home.

I have over 20 years’ experience owning horses and am a lightweight, quiet, and sympathetic rider. My approach focuses on positive reinforcement, correct basics, and allowing horses to progress at their own pace.

My current horse is a 23-year-old mare, retired for the past three years due to age-related medical issues. She remains with me permanently, and I’m now looking for my next long-term equine partner.

The horse would be kept at a quiet rural livery yard with miles of off road hacking and on site owners (I would be the primary caregiver and live only a few miles away) providing daily oversight.

- 15.1–16.2hh
- 6–9 years old
- Mare preferred, although geldings considered
- ISH / Warmblood type preferred (not looking for a cob, or anything chunky)
- Naturally forward-going with a good jump
- Well-schooled or sensibly produced
- Able to hack alone and in company (essential)
- Good to clip, catch, shoe, and load
- Kind, straightforward temperament on the ground and easy to work with
- Sensible project considered (green, recently out of work, or needing education) - providing any quirks or blemishes are disclosed.

I’m not looking for a finished article; temperament, trainability, and potential are more important than mileage. A horse with scope to compete at novice / newcomers, in time would be ideal.

I’m based in Central Scotland, so sensible distances preferred, though I’m willing to travel for the right horse.

Looking for a superstar 15hh - 15.2hh schoolmaster for my 13 year old daughter. She would like to compete at 90 cm this season, but would like to find something with a good record at 100 cm.

This will be her first horse coming off a 14.2hh, so looking for a smart oversized pony to help her gain experience at the next level.

Must be sane and sensible as we do lots of hacking around our family farm. We also trail hunt, so would be an added bonus to find something that can do it all.

Photo of previous pony who has already moved on, so my daughter is really looking forward to finding her next best friend!

Seeking my next perfect pony! Must haves between - 14.2h and 15.2h, between - 6 and 15 , although would change for the perfect one.

Needs to be within 2 and a half hours of Derbyshire. would go further for the perfect one

MUST be safe around traffic , farm machinery , farm animals ( as I live on a farm ), happy hacking , schooling , fun rides , smaller jumps , local shows - showing , dressage etc

All year round turn out on private land , living with a connie gelding and mini shetland gelding ( can be in separate field)

Massive stables roughly 4 times bigger than an average one ! videos an pictures can be provided

Lots of land to hack around.

My preferred breed is a chunky traditional Connemara just cause I love the breed so much my previous Connemara gave me so much but he is retired now , but would consider something else that fits the bill.

I previously had a bad accident with my last pony on the road with a tractor and my confidence is very low , it's very important that my next pony is very safe confidence giver. I am aware no horse is perfect but I don't want anything sharp or spooky and nothing that bolts , rears or bucks , strong etc

I would prefer no health issues but if it's something slight I will consider.
more must haves are good loading , good for farrier , dentist , for leading and for the vet.

I have had weekly dressage lessons for over a year and then monthly lessons with jumping the year before , spent a lot of time hacking ,before my accident. I have had horses for many years and was a competent rider until my accident where I lost confidence.

I am aware this is a lot to ask for but I know somewhere they must be one for me :) genuine 10 star home awaits thanks !

We are a small RDA centre with a big heart looking for multiple types and sizes of horses from 13.2 – 16.3hh ride and/or drive. We are based South West London and hack out in one of London's royal parks.

Temperament is very important and must be good to handle by multiple people. We offer our horses a variety in their life, mostly involving hacking and fun days out. We don’t have an arena onsite so ability to hack is a must. We offer herd turnout, with work rotation so horses get a large amount of rest days.

Welfare and care are our upmost priority, 5* home waiting with lots of love and care.
