I am looking for a genuine, safe pony for lightweight older lady to hack and do low level Riding Club clinics.. The pony must be easy in every way , load on trailer , be bombproof ( I know no pony is, but as good as it gets!) and be happy hacking alone and in company .We don't need a superstar , but a well schooled pony that genuinely enjoys exploring the countryside! The pony must be excellent in traffic, including large farm vehicles and never consider napping, bucking or rearing!

We would be happy to buy/ loan/ loan with view to buy and offer a long term home on private yard with company, where the pony will be much loved and want for nothing.Happy to keep in touch with previous owner. Looking for my first horse and hoping to find the right long-term partner.

I'm an adult beginner rider, looking for a sensible, confidence-giving horse that I can learn and progress with.

Ideally looking for:

16hh or above

8 years old or older

Kind, calm and forgiving temperament

Well-schooled and established, rather than green or sharp

Sensible to hack, ideally alone and in company

Happy with general schooling and some low-level jumping

Good manners on the ground and straightforward to handle

The horse will be kept on full livery, with experienced support and regular schooling by the yard, so there will be plenty of help on hand.

I'm not looking to compete seriously, just to develop my riding, enjoy hacking, schooling and a bit of jumping, and hopefully build a great partnership.

Budget: Ideally £10,000–£12,000, but flexible for the right horse.

Based in Norfolk, happy to travel for the right one.

This will be a long-term home, and I'm in no rush to buy. Temperament and suitability are far more important to me than breed, colour or competition history.

I am a 27 year old rider looking to take the plunge and buy my first horse, after years of sharing at the same yard. Would also consider full loan.

The requirements include:

- Cob or cob cross between 14.3-16hh (rider is 5ft8)

- Ideally aged between 8-14. Would accept younger if very sensible and safe but nothing younger than 6.

- Gelding preferred but open to mare if affectionate, kind and not mareish

- A safe, fun and sensible allrounder looking for a varied life, including happy hacking, lessons, fun rides, camps and clinics!

- Must be sane and sensible out hacking and be used to a variety of things, including cyclists, various machinery and manage motorway bridges and train bridges with encouragement.

- Horse will be highly pampered, enjoying lots of grooming sessions and cuddles! Must be a people person and like spending lots of time with me, as will be on assisted DIY.

- Enjoy schooling max twice a week, as owner would like to learn and grow with the horse, but this would always be varied as I get bored in the school too!

- Possibility of dressage shows, small clear rounds in the future. Bonus points if will jump the odd log now and again!

- Will receive daily turnout, including possibility of 24/7 turnout in the summer. Stabled overnight in winter.

The ponies I would love to hear about are those not needing to be advertised to secure a new home. There is no harm in finding out whether I know of a better home and match. Perhaps you worry about your child finding it upsetting seeing their old pony regularly at rallies etc - then selling out of area could be a better solution.

These are motivated buyers receiving guidance as to what will likely suit their child - not the timewasters regularly reported. In most cases homes are also knowledgeable: simply lacking in time to conduct a search themselves. Most will also wait for the right pony so if you are not ready to sell yet - that is not an issue.

There are some decent budgets available relative to age and medical conditions etc.

Seeking my next perfect pony! Must haves between - 14.2h and 15.2h, between - 6 and 15 , although would change for the perfect one.

Needs to be within 2 and a half hours of Derbyshire. would go further for the perfect one

MUST be safe around traffic , farm machinery , farm animals ( as I live on a farm ), happy hacking , schooling , fun rides , smaller jumps , local shows - showing , dressage etc

All year round turn out on private land , living with a Connie gelding and mini Shetland gelding ( can be in separate field)

Massive stables roughly 4 times bigger than an average one ! videos and pictures can be provided

My preferred breed is a chunky traditional Connemara just because I love the breed so much my previous Connemara gave me so much but he is retired now , but would consider something else that fits the bill , but Connies really are my fav !

I previously had a bad accident with my last pony on the road with a tractor and my confidence is very low , it's very important that my next pony is very safe confidence giver. I am aware no horse is perfect but I don't want anything sharp or spooky and nothing that bolts , rears or bucks , strong etc

more must haves are good loading , good for farrier , dentist , for leading and for the vet.

I have had weekly dressage lessons for over a year and then monthly lessons with jumping the year before , spent a lot of time hacking ,before my accident. I have had horses for many years and was a competent rider until my accident where I lost confidence.

I am aware this is a lot to ask for but I know somewhere they must be one for me :) genuine 10 star home awaits thanks !

We are looking for any breed for LWVTB as they will need to be trialled in our RDA environment before purchasing to see if they're suited to this lifestyle before a participant can ride them. This is as much for the ponies as the suitability for riders.

Must already be ridden and has to be over 5 yrs old (RDA rules). Can accept some quirks but must be safe for our disabled riders. They will also have to pass a stage 2 vetting which can be arranged whilst on loan.

We can offer a high standard of care, a light work load so older ages are acceptable if sound.

We have stables but they live out as much as possible even throughout winter. We can offer small herd/individual turnout.

Happy with something that needs bringing on if it is sensible but must be ridden away and have some experience hacking and flat work. 

Ages 4 - 10, mare preferred but happy to look at geldings. No warmbloods or heavy cobs.
