KPH Aeos Hybrid 4.5t Horsebox For Sale

2013 Citroen Relay Chassis 130bhp 2.2 ltr Air Suspension.
Built for me in Dec 2015, 37,000 miles.
Payload was 1.7 when built, but we had the extra smaller partition put in later, Weighed with me in it, 40ltrs fuel & around 40kg of stuff in the cupboards and back, so payload of 1.6, plenty of power to pull up hills with two horses in.

Cleaned after each use, so in very good clean condition.
Always serviced etc when required, MOT Oct 2025
New Brake Pads and Discs a few weeks ago.
Alloy Wheels, New Tyres with Truck Valves 18 months ago. 9mm tread on each tyre.
Camera in horse area and for reversing.

In very good condition for a 10 yr old Box, some stone chips on the paintwork, and a couple of small scratches on the ramp where a pony kicked it.
Cab Headlining stained, but as it was when I bought it.

Truck was purchased from an army buddy who used this for commercial transport for a while, but then needed something larger. He had to get it serviced and checked every quarter, hence it was in excellent condition and from a trusted source. When I purchased it, I spent around £2k on it (indoor lights, external side lights on roof line, reversing and horse camera, isolator switch, new batteries, tie up rings on outside of the truck and so on).

After having barely used the lorry for the last 3 years, I have recently spent c.£5k on it to from some new tyres, new taco, deep service and overhaul etc (have receipts).

The horse can stall 4 horses, 3 facing forward and one sideways (at the back of the lorry). The partitions can be moved so it provides immense flexibility of space, be it for a family’s hunters, eventing or even commercial usage.

It’s a DAF so drives like a dream, and the side ramp makes life so much easier, be it for horses or collecting large order of bedding and feed etc.

Up for sale as I sold my idiot of a horse so seems a bit much for my wife’s retired hunter and my son’s geriatric pony, however, as I am soon to have a new hunter am also happy to keep it as it’s an excellent truck to drive and use it for next season and then I won't argue with my wife over the trailer.

It’s also quite a compact shape, being 6.3m long rather than the usual 8m, which makes manoeuvring and parking in tighter spots exceptionally easy.

2013 Citroen Relay Chassis 130bhp 2.2 ltr Air Suspension.
Built for me in Dec 2015, 37,000 miles.
Payload was 1.7 when built, but we had the extra smaller partition put in later, Weighed with me in it, 40ltrs fuel & around 40kg of stuff in the cupboards and back, so payload of 1.6, plenty of power to pull up hills with two horses in.

Cleaned after each use, so in very good clean condition.
Always serviced etc when required, MOT Oct 2025
New Brake Pads and Discs a few weeks ago.
Alloy Wheels, New Tyres with Truck Valves 18 months ago. 9mm tread on each tyre.

Truck was purchased from an army buddy who used this for commercial transport for a while, but then needed something larger. He had to get it serviced and checked every quarter, hence it was in excellent condition and from a trusted source. When I purchased it, I spent around £2k on it (indoor lights, external side lights on roof line, reversing and horse camera, isolator switch, new batteries, tie up rings on outside of the truck and so on).

After having barely used the lorry for the last 3 years, I have recently spent c.£5k on it to from some new tyres, new taco, deep service and overhaul etc (have receipts).

The horse can stall 4 horses, 3 facing forward and one sideways (at the back of the lorry). The partitions can be moved so it provides immense flexibility of space, be it for a family’s hunters, eventing or even commercial usage.

It’s a DAF so drives like a dream, and the side ramp makes life so much easier, be it for horses or collecting large order of bedding and feed etc.

Up for sale as I sold my idiot of a horse so seems a bit much for my wife’s retired hunter and my son’s geriatric pony, however, as I am soon to have a new hunter am also happy to keep it as it’s an excellent truck to drive and use it for next season and then I won't argue with my wife over the trailer.

It’s also quite a compact shape, being 6.3m long rather than the usual 8m, which makes manoeuvring and parking in tighter spots exceptionally easy.

We’re sadly parting with our beautiful horsebox as we’re downsizing (hopefully same coachbuilder) now that we only have one pony to travel and so that our older children can share the driving. This wagon turns heads and gets compliments wherever it goes – a real gem that’s hard to find, especially in such a well-equipped and compact (solar/gas - off grid) build. We chose against a shower this time round as we never used it in our last wagon, so have a portable toilet we use in the horse area but also fits in the living.
