15h 13yo chestnut mare. Green for age but ideal project for alrounder/RC/grassroots eventing/hunt etc.

Ember is a very capable and talented little mare, but is green for her age due to being a broodmare for most of her life. Shes unregistered but I would put a guess on her being a Welsh x tb/wb type.

She is a typical mare and will have a squeal and a tart around. She likes to live in the herd with company, she gets anxious if left alone. Shes on sales livery with me due to a couple of quirks that her current owner doesn’t enjoy. She is by NO MEANS a dangerous mare! But she will have a spin if she sees something she doesn’t like and is allowed to get away with it. She doesn’t do this with me anymore as she’s learnt it doesn’t work.

Her arena work is basic but pleasing. And she’s popping 70/80cm with ease but at the moment she lacks confidence with bigger fences. She has all the ability she just lacks self belief! Ember needs an understanding person who will show her the ropes with firm patience. Shes a really fun ride and she’s not shown any signs of bucking rearing bolting etc.

She will simply spin round if she’s decided she doesn’t want to go past something. Shes done a lot of fun hacking, hound exercise (will hunt in a few weeks with me) xc schooling, sj schooling, fun rides, etc and is now ready to find her forever home where she can do a bit more.

She would suit a home where she can have a basic routine and where she will be ridden at least weekly to keep her brain occupied.

Bravo is a gorgeous 15.2 9 year old bay gelding who we imported as a 2 year old.

Totally unspoilt, little gelding - we breed and import young horses mainly for Show jumping and he didn't quite make the height but we have competed him at BSJA where he really enjoyed it and showed excellent promise

He is a super fun all rounder - and would suit someone who wanted a PC/ RC horse to go and have some fun with.

Dougie is a part-bred Connemara gelding, who I have owned since a 4 year old. In that time we have done a bit of everything, including Pony Club Open Showjumping (Royal Windsor and qualifying PC Champs), and Intermediate Working Hunter. He has also lightly competed British Showjumping with regular wins at 90/1m.

He is exceptional to deal with on the ground - very easy to catch, clip, shoe, box etc, loves a cuddle and happy to live in or out. However, he is very quirky and sharp to ride. He needs a confident jockey who will humour his antics! He is best when kept in regular work with a good routine and sadly I cannot provide this for him, having just had my first baby.

I’m very fond of him so a great home and his happiness are my top priority. He will be a lovely friend for someone who isn’t opposed to bucking.

He is currently hairy, in very light work and has not competed for some time due to pregnancy. This is reflected in his price.

A truly lovely mare with heaps of potential across the disciplines.

This 8 year old mare, 16hh Connemara x ISH has successfully competed in showjumping and dressage competitions and would take well to a XC course.
She is sweet-natured, kind, and willing, but does require a confident and experienced rider to bring out her best.

She is well-mannered to handle, good to load, good with the farrier and vet, and has no vices. She hacks safely in company and in all traffic but would need encouragement and a confident rider when hacking alone. A very sad sale but a very genuine mare with plenty of ability to progress further in competition or as an all-rounder.

During 2022/23 she attended numerous pole/ jump clinics hosted by a dressage judge at one venue and a dressage instructor at another. The rider's PC instructor also gave her 1:1
lessons every other week.

Norman has been doing a fantastic job as a sensible hack for a very petite older lady. However, she has got to the stage now that she is wanting to downsize to something that is smaller and narrower to get on.

He has been with us a few weeks and in that time we have started his education both on the flat and over fences. Although he is later in life coming to this, he is showing promise at both (video shows his 3rd time ever over fences).
With further education he will make a super low level allrounder for someone to enjoy either at home to have fun on or he would be suitable for PC/RC activities and dressage. He has a super brain and will give anything a go.

Norman is a true gentleman, live in or out, hacks alone or in company and has been easy to do in all ways.

Romeo is a fantastic first horse, he’s a leg in each corner, overgrown pony. He may be of an age but he is still very keen to continue and enjoys his work as much as ever. Previously competed upto 1m but more suited to 70/80cms now, he will teach anybody the ropes around a dressage test and finds his own stride around the jumping being very careful he’s a little clear round horse and loves the technicality of the arena eventing courses and wouldn’t run away xc

He will make someone very happy for pony club/ riding club or equally to just play at home and do clinics ect.

Quirks-
Romeo isn’t a fan of hacking past large vehicles so not ideal for a novice in this area although is perfect in open spaces so someone with off road hacking will have a great time with him
Romeo has always traveled in a lorry so on the one occasion of tavelling in a trailer he wasn’t great but could travel with no partition.
He has always run through the stable door he’s just not a fan of narrow spaces hence his 3 little quirks but beside that he’s a brilliant best friend to anyone wanting a horse with lots of experience

I can’t say one negative thing about this super star mare - she is just fantastic. I have been very half hearted in selling her as she is just so easy to have around, she is the nanny to everything and everyone, she has been ridden by 7 yr olds to 70 yr olds (that haven't ridden in 10 years). But she is also a little super star in the ring and will go on to be a fantastic Badminton Grassroots horse and easily has the scope for Novice. She would also make a really good Intermediate worker.

She is very straight forward at a show and isn’t phased by the razzmatazz of a big show (pipe bands no problem!) She is really brave but sensible, she is one of the most naturally good xc horses we have ever had in, has definitely been here before! Jumps everything for fun. She will do a very solid Dressage test as has a great rhythm and attitude.

A lovely old fashioned family horse that can turn her hoof to anything. She would be ideal for someone wanting a lovely horse to give them confidence. I would like her to go to a home that likes to jump as she is so good at it! It would be lovely to see her at Badminton Grassroots, HOYS in the Workers, Pony Club Champs or the Cotswold Cup – she would take it all in her stride.
Good to hack, clip, travel and no vices. Turns out with mares and geldings never marish.

Elvis is a lovely stamp of a horse! He is an attractive, young, very fun and willing horse who has an exciting future ahead of him whether it is showjumping or eventing. He will be good for anyone who wants to produce a young horse for the future and make him their own.

He has been produced slowly and has competed at 70/80/90cm showjumping and has had several double clears at those heights and has also been cross country schooling. He has so much scope and potential to move up the levels. Elvis has also been doing some combined training and did his first dressage test at Prelim 3.

Elvis is a forward thinking horse who enjoys jumping. He makes a lovely shape over the fences and is not phased by fillers. He is very easy to be taught new things, takes it all in stride and is a quick learner.

He has got 3 flashy and eye catching, balanced paces and has a very comfy canter.

He is easy to do in all ways e.g taking out to the field, could be walked by a young girl or boy. He hacks alone and in company and has been schooled by a 15 year old girl as well as his owner. Where ever we go he always catches people’s eye!

We have owned Perky two years and he has competed lightly in dressage/showjumping/eventing/showing.

He is a forward thinking cheeky chap who loves life. He moves nicely and works in a soft outline, scoring 68% plus in his tests.

He enjoys jumping and can be quite enthusiastic.

He was 8th in his first ode at Offchurch Bury in March and won a hunter trial at Swalcliffe in April.

We have been doing a little competing on a surface since the ground has turned during the summer. Currently jumping 80 to 90cm.

We took him to Hanbury show in a small riding horse class where he was immaculately behaved, standing in line and cantering around the ring with everyone.

He likes his hunting and has been out with the Warwickshire for the last two seasons. Stands nicely, is snaffle mouthed for everything except hunting.

Good in traffic, seen all farm machinery and will hack alone and in company.

The sweetest person to handle on the ground and loves a fuss.

Perky has a lot to offer the right person. There is so much to love about him, needs a confident partner to have fun with.
