Carismas Prince Brodie

Brodie is a 7 year old, 17'2 Irish sports horse, he's the perfect all rounder, super confident and civil and will do well in any or all disciplines. He is a pleasure to work with on the ground, for farrier, dentist, physio etc and gets compliments wherever he goes for his nice temperament.

He has been carefully and slowly produced to let him finish growing.

For the last 18 months he has been with me, a novice rider, and has taken care of me well for countless hacks, beach trips and days out, we've even jumped a few courses of 90-100cm for fun and he never refuses. With him getting stronger and more exuberant in recent months, I've realised he needs a more experienced rider, especially if he's been in for a few days and throws an excitable buck.

Brodie gets regular schooling from a professional rider and has no bother jumping a round of 110cm.

He has had no expense spared along the way with regular checkups and treatments from his Osteopath, dentist, saddler, bitting specialist and worms and tape worms monitored. He is in tip top shape and ready to compete.

He is a much loved pet and I would only sell him if the perfect person came along, someone who puts the horse first, rides gently and who has the experience and skill to manage him. If you'd like to come and see him or see some videos then give me a shout.

He has an Irish sports horse passport and you can find his breeding online, some of the names include Clover hill, Quidam De Revel, Nabab De Reve and some Belgian warm blood and Selle Francais in the mix.

I’ve owned Chezy for 4 years, he’s taken me from jumping 1m to my first 1.20s, never once putting a foot wrong/ always trying to look after me. He used to do gate jumping in Ireland which shows his brave self jumping 1.90m.

He has good flatwork, he hacks well, jumps great, travels on anything and I’m sure he’d love cross country if given the chance to go! The kindest boy to do anything with in the saddle or on the ground.

He is nicely schooled on the flat and has nice paces. He is a dream to hack, we are based on the South downs and he will happily go for a gallop and then plod home. He has been out to many training shows, dressage and jumping.

Toby(Carrabeg Utopia) will make someone's dreams come true. He is the most honest,willing horse we have ever owned. he looks for the flags and is super brave.

Toby was bought as a rising 5yold as a first horse to produce by a then 14y old girl. he started off his career showjumping,going up to 115/120 but isn't going to make the bigger tracks competitively. we took him xc and he is amazing. Never says no and looks for the flags and has a record to prove this. His flatwork is good and he's super trainable. Toby started at 100 making bishop burton 105 youth champs from 3 scores ,going dc finnishing 12th in good company.

Toby had a couple of time faults or would of been 2nd overall. his next time out was over a beefy technical novice track at tweseldown going clear again in the time . toby has the ability to go 2* and poss more but will also skip around 100 and is grass roots eligible.

Abandoned events early on in the year put a stop to us getting MERS then A levels hit. you can take him anywhere with no drama and is a pleasure to do ,clip,shoe load ect. can be handled by anyone. he hacks alone and company often a nanny to young horses,leads others out and can be ridden bareback in a headcollar to turn out and lead another. I am 55 and novice and hack him out while my daughter is in school. I don't care what happens,what we see or come across as he will always lookafter me. there is so much more I can say about this amazing little horse. only for sale as rider doesn't want to event and is going to uni. Tom is an incredible stamp of an ID. He oozes quality and has so much potential with an amazing gentle temperament to match. Tom combines quality and bone, is a true weight carrier with a deep girth and good length of neck. He has excellent conformation, is clean limbed with no lumps or bumps. He is an absolute pleasure to ride, responsive to the aids and works correctly with 3 elastic, uphill and rhythmical paces maintaining a relaxed frame. He has good knee action which he maintains when lengthening the canter and comes back politely when asked. He has competed at prelim dressage in Ireland placing well with high 60’s scores.

Tom is forward to a fence and never says no, he has jumped fillers and trays and shows tremendous scope and makes the correct shape - neat in front and loose behind. Tom has been to UA SJ competitions in Ireland and training shows/arena hires over here jumping 1m, he’s currently schooling around 1.10/20 at home with us with plenty of scope for more. Tom has been XC schooling and to hunter trials jumping steps, ditches, water and everything in between. He hunted in Ireland with the Maynooth and Leitham harriers where he was well behaved and bold and attended pleasure rides.
Tom hacks both alone and in company and is excellent in traffic. He’s good in open spaces, often going for group canters along the river bank and stubble fields.

Tom is a lovely boy on the ground, he loves people and is very easy and good to do in all ways. Good to bath, shoe, clip, plait, turnout/catch, load & travel. He lives in or out and is happy be turned out next to or in with other horses, has mixed with mares and geldings.

Tom has been ridden by man and lady riders, passed a 5 stage vetting a few weeks ago and is sadly for sale as is too green for our client. He is a big, powerful horse who is not the finished article he can have his green wobbly moments, never nasty, but still needs to continue his education as he matures and strengthens within himself.

We cannot emphasise enough the quality this horse possesses, he’d excel immensely in the show ring as a HW working hunter or HW hunter as he combines athleticism, bravery, scope and temperament.
