Bertie is a 13 year old 14.3hh dark bay British Sports Pony gelding who rides much bigger.

He’s been out competing in all disciplines, particularly excelling at dressage but also loves his jumping having competed SJ and XC up to 80cm with plenty of scope to do more. Has attended Pony Club rallies and day camps.

He’s been placed almost every time they’ve been out, coming 2nd at Prelim at a local Dressage Championships, qualifying for BD Area Festivals at Prelim in two outings with very consistent scores. Starting to work at Novice level at home with potential to go higher.

Qualified for Cricklands and Trailblazers at 75cm/80cm, schooling over 90cm at home. Happily jumps ditches, steps and loves a water jump!

He’s good to hack alone and in company and will happily go first or last.

Lovely to handle and good to do in all ways, clip, shoe, vet, etc.

Would be ideal for a competitive teenager or small adult.

Bertie is a super fun little horse and a fantastic lovable character and this is very sad sale but as my daughter will soon be heading towards GCSEs and my horse is now retired, we need something a little bigger for a mother/daughter share.

Sir Rouge ("Red") is a 17hh, 12 year old bay gelding. Ridden and successfully competed by 5'5" lady. Lovely personality and easy to handle.

Great in traffic but prefers to hack with company. He's straightforward to ride on the flat or to jump and his flashy paces have helped in his change of career to dressage. Plenty of scope to work up through the levels. Needs a confident rider to get the best from him!

Rider's health has forced this sad sale. Red will make someone very happy!!

A lovely gentleman in all ways, he is easy to look after in the stable and the field, comes to call. Loads and travels beautifully, is a very confident chap. He is absolutely stunning and has a lot of presence.

Bred in Ireland and was initially produced as a show jumper, he is very well schooled with a scopey jump and excellent style, as you would expect with his elite sports breeding. He enjoys cross country jumping and is calm, rhythmical and obedient, gives the younger horses a lead when schooling in the field. Potentially he could make a top class ladies or gentleman's hunter, he has 10.5" of bone.

Fabulous to hack, does not hot up in a crowd, crosses a busy A road, very patient and easy to ride out. Snaffle mouth, not strong out hacking. He is used to narrow lanes, farm machinery, dogs, children etc.

He is currently being schooled at Elementary level in preparation for BD competitions and is fit and ready to go out at Novice level. He shows a talent for lateral work and has a lovely balanced canter, does easy simple changes and is improving everyday. He is very laid back and oozes class, with more schooling he could be a real dressage star.

Suitable for an amateur to produce as he gives confidence in all disciplines. He is a really lovely horse and will only be sold to an experienced home where he can flourish.

Eddie is by a son of the great Ricardo Z.

He is jumping a course of fences, and has XC schooled. He is said to have hunted whilst in Ireland. I hack Eddie all over on my own with no problems, however I was told he had napped with previous owner when on his own. He is a very easy horse to do on the floor and loves cuddles.

No novices please as he is a young green horse with low mileage.

Mahoney is a 15hh 10 year old irish mare, Mahoney has been there done that!

She has been a seasoned hunter for 3 years (if i’m correct) and has been round the WORC team chase a handful of times. Mahoney has an incredible brave jump and isn’t afraid to jump anything you point her at!

She is brilliant in open spaces and never gets strong or silly, also is perfect in all traffic!

She can have the odd spook but nothing major or dangerous, she is lovely to handle... but she will not hack alone!

She doesn’t kick or bite, turned out in a heard of 5 with mares and geldings!

Mahoney has been ridden and owned by novices but unfortunately the girl lost her confidence so mahoney was out of work for 2 months but is now back in full work and is a very willing and talented horse and she is wow’s me as the weeks go on with her courage and ability! (I am selling mahoney for a friends friend)

Mahoney is a fun competition pony and took me around my first novice team chase yesterday with no time penalties or refusals.. even leading at times! 

I have also taken her XC schooling where she jumped loads of novice fences with scope to go higher and has been various clinics mainly at 90cm.

She can sometimes put a little bunny hop of excitement in when you get on but it’s never more than 5cm of the ground!

She loads onto a lorry and trailer and travels amazing and stands at competitions happily on the lorry! I’m asking £6500 ono for her, home is more important to me!

• Dave has 3 smart, correct paces and a cracking jump. He has proven to be genuine and keen to learn.

He is still quite green for an 11yro with very low milage.

I spent February and march in lockdown working on his flatwork which has improved immensely. He has done 3 online video dressage tests and scored 65% at intro and 66% at prelim.

I have taken him SJ and XC schooling which he took completely in his stride and loved.

He travels alone or in company and is easy enough for me to load and travel and deal with on my own. He ties up at the lorry and is calm and easy.

With his previous owner he has been to riding club clinics and on a fun ride.

He hacks alone or in company although can be a little spooky but this is no issue for someone with a secure seat.

Dave is not a novice ride simply because he is a fit TB however he has never put a foot wrong and does nothing more than become a bit bouncy when excited.

He is the perfect all-rounder and is fit and ready to go out and have a fun summer with someone and learn about the job.

He is easy to load, shoe, clip etc and is the sweetest most affectionate horse to have around the yard.
