Gertie is as kind and genuine mare who has done a bit of everything. She is as honest as they come. Gertie last ran in March 2022 and has since been retrained. She retired from racing sound, was just too slow.

Gertie has xc schooled and will jump anything you ask of her. She is bold and has a scopey jump. Ideal for somebody wanting to team chase or looking for a hunter. She isn’t strong she will happily sit in behind or lead away. She is snaffled mouthed. Gertie has previously hunted and been out with the blood hounds. Impeccably mannered.

Gertie will hack alone and in company. She has seen all types of traffic and farm machinery and isn’t phased at all. You can ride and lead off of her. She is good to do in each and every way, clipping, loading, farrier and vet. Gertie is now ready to go and have a lot of fun with somebody!

Currently barefoot, has previously been shod all round. Up to date with dental, vaccinations including strangles.

Does have a callus on her left hind from a kick in the field resulting in a broken splint bone. This has now healed nicely and the callus has formed on the outside of the splint bone which means no ligaments or tendons are impacted. Our vets are positive this will not affect her ridden career. Full vet history can be disclosed.

Rising 4 year old gelding. Currently standing approx 15.1hh, should finish up at 15.2hh.

Was unhandled until August 25. Now is good to catch, lead, box, rug, pick up feet etc.

Has had his feet trimmed. Fully vaccinated. Had a dental November 25, including wolf teeth removal. Ready for someone to make their own.

Moves beautifully and makes a lovely shape over a fence. Has the potential to make a nice show jumper or eventer.

Currently living out in a mixed herd. However loves to come in and be stabled. Isn’t bothered about leaving his buddies behind. Very quiet and kind. Can still be timid at times but the more you do the better he is.

He does however have a blemish on his side, full vet’s report available. Shouldn’t effect a ridden career, is sound and straight in movement. Would suit someone wanting a nicely bred horse on a budget.

I'm hoping to find a safe & sensible gelding to occasionally bloodhound, hunter trials(70/80) & if brave some local novice team chases but manly to hack out alone & with my 7yrs son on his little old pony, I do occasionally have to lead him to start with & when crossing the road, everything is definitely occasionally as now a football mum too!

Must be good with small ponies as have had a couple of nightmare experiences with horses & pony when turned out together!

So would live out with old pony gelding & two pet sheep! Happy if needs some maintenance & if an older equine.

Ideally loan or very small budget as only a dinner lady!

Very handsome ID x Connemara gelding with plenty of presence and a lovely traditional type. A smart young horse with the potential to make a very enjoyable all-round riding horse for the right person.

Owned for the last 12 months and has done hacking, schooling, pole work and long-lining, as well as attending forest rides and a couple of clinics. He enjoys his work and responds well to calm, consistent, reward-based training. Can be strong or anxious to handle at times so neds a calm, confident handler.

He is currently out of work due to lack of time, so is offered as a project from the field.

He can be a sensitive type and requires a confident, experienced handler, particularly when anxious, so he is not suitable for novices. In the right hands and with consistent work he has plenty of potential.

He has excellent feet and is currently barefoot, happily working over stony tracks.

Didn't cope well with losing several field companions in December so living out 24/7 and happiest with plenty of turnout and equine company. Currently doing the odd ground work session but not in ridden work so will need bringing back in to work slowly.

Very well put together, a lot of bone and substance, I think he will turn into a very smart small hunter type. Potential to show in hand this year. I expect he will be a lovely ladies type and probably mature to around 15.2hh to 16hh.

Has had basic handling. Leads, feet trimmed, short trips in the lorry. Currently in his winter woolies. He is a lovely boy and loves cuddles.

Priced to sell due to loss of job and too many horses.

His mum who is currently in foal to a dun Connemara stallion due March/April 2026 is possibly available.

He is very strong on the ground and will nip given the opportunity. He needs to be in work and needs work, with coming out of winter.

Therefore he is not a novice or a child's ride.

Good to shoe, box and catch. Good with animals (except pigs!) and with traffic, cyclists, motorbikes, and tractors.

A good doer who needs restricted grazing and the sight of another horse when turned out.

He is happy turned out with either mares or geldings.

He is up to date with vaccinations, teeth and worm count. A very much loved horse who has been in the same home for 8 year's.
