Sire Darco is legendary and needs little introduction in Belgium; moreover, it has been proven that Darco as a sire—and dam—is of immense value.

Libero H) produced the winner in both the six- and seven-year-old classes. Neverland Z (dam: Carthago), ridden by Jeroen Appelen, claimed victory in the six-year-old class after the jump-off. Jan Vermeiren and Mr. Uno-K van ’t Kattenheye (dam: Kannan) repeated that feat in the seven-year-old class.

In this article, you’ll notice that Neverland Z has the same pedigree (Numero Uno x Carthago) as Bjork VDC. In the Netherlands as well, Jager claimed the title in the 5-year-old Blom Cup; he also has the same pedigree: Numero Uno x Carthago. At the KWPN stallion show in Den Bosch in 2008, her brother Acanisto M, out of Renaissance, was selected for the performance test and currently jumps at the 140-level. Renaissance’s sister, Thiara M, is the dam of the 1.60 m jumper Oak Grove’s Battle Cry, Cristel Optimus 160—who has already produced several top-class offspring—and Diacento, who jumps at the 155 level.
