Tilly is a careful, genuine mare who is jumping easily around 1.10/1.15m tracks with a small, lightweight teenager and is showing plenty of scope to progress further. She has fantastic technique and is easy to ride to a fence, with a naturally uphill canter. She is enthusiastic and not at all spooky and is very forgiving of rider errors, happy to adjust her stride as necessary.
Tilly has a BE record up to Novice, however she has made it increasingly clear that she does not enjoy competing cross-country, and for that reason she is now looking for a home where she can concentrate on show jumping, which she adores. She is well-schooled on the flat and has a change both ways. She is happy cross country schooling at any level, just not competing.
Tilly is a lovely mare to have around the yard with a kind temperament. Easy to handle, she loves a fuss and is a pleasure to own. Tilly is good to hack and in traffic, excellent to catch, shoe, clip etc.
Tilly has some veterinary history which will be disclosed to serious parties, but is now completely sound and is out competing.
This is a genuine and heartbreaking sale, solely because we are an eventing yard. She has so much to offer and deserves a rider who will enjoy her talent and allow her to reach her full potential.
