An eye catching, very well put together, clean boned Irish Draught mare by Lionwood Kinsales Lad out of a Coille Mor Hill mare. 158cms (LHC). Has competed successfully at unaffiliated jumping, dressage, local showing classes and derby shows. Schooled cross country. Hacks alone or with company. Very well mannered and gentle natured horse. I have had him for over 4 and half years now and produced him slowly with his future in mind. He is bombproof in traffic, can ride and lead, is a gentleman for coaching off, will stand and watch horses go by patiently lead or go behind and having a lovely time. Good to do in all ways.

The reason for looking for a new home for this amazing boy is due to my personal circumstances wanting to compete at a high level, he gets anxious and overwhelmed when out competing. All will be disclosed along with a couple of medical management requirements. Please no producers or someone wanting a project to bring on and sell. All homes will be thoroughly vetted as he deserves the best. If I wasn’t wanting to go high level eventing and showjumping. I would not be looking for a home for him.

Currently happily training around courses up to 1.25m showjumping and jumping through novice/intermediate lines cross country. Is well established on flat training at elementary/medium level and is touch button. Does have balanced show jump flying changes.

Not suitable for novices, ideal for anyone who wants a lovely horse who is well produced and easy to do and to enjoy without the pressures of competing.

16.1h 7yro chestnut gelding. 

Schools very nicely on the flat with three smart paces. Has a great work ethic and is one of those horses who always tries his best to please. Enjoys his jumping and has plenty of scope. Very careful and will always do his best not to touch the fence, no matter what stride he is on (he’s happy to take a miss!). He has never had more than a single pole in a SJ round. Ridden by a lightweight girl in a snaffle for all phases. 

Won virtually every unaffiliated competition he was entered in over the winter including: - Multiple wins Arena Eventing at both 90cm and 100cm, qualifying for the British Eventing championships in both classes.

- Won the Heythrop intermediate team chase

- Wins at unaffiliated dressage and combined training

This season he has been out eventing, jumping double clear at BE90, BE100 and 100cm Cotswold cup qualifiers. Consistently produces a sub/low 30s dressage for top 10 placings. Not worried about banks, ditches, water, skinnies etc. He has a great natural gallop and can really cover the ground when asked.

Could suit an amateur or junior rider. Really friendly and affectionate chap who loves attention. Lives in or out. Doesn’t get silly if he has a few days off. Hacks out alone and in company. No vices. 

Could make a very competitive grassroots eventer, with the scope to go further up the levels. A genuinely lovely horse with a bright future ahead.

With his amazing bloodlines he would suit dressage/eventing but equally be a very smart chap for someone to do any job.

His mum is also very well bred coming from a line of hoys winners.

He’s naturally very uphil and balanced with fantastic movement. From being a foal he has had the sweetest temprament and really straight forward to handle.

Has lived most of his life turned out coming in for regular handling ect. He’s just in from the field and has had a bridle/roller on a few times and been a star. He’s only just turned 3 this month so I don’t feel he’s ready to do anymore until later in the year when he’s matured abit more.
