Louie is one in a million who has so much class, quality and potential with the most amazing temperament to match. He is drop down gorgeous with striking dapples and stands out where ever he goes. He is a very well-bred ISH with some warmblood mixed in to give him even more quality, movement and jump. He is the perfect quality stamp of a horse. He is a very desirable type who would suit a wide audience of riders from teenagers coming off ponies, to adults alike. He has good conformation, is blemish free and straight movement.He is the full package to excel across all riding disciplines which makes him the perfect alrounder/eventer. He has the most amazing temperament and attitude making him a yard favourite.

Louie schools beautifully on the flat, he has a lovely relaxed way of going with very nice movement. He has three good paces, his walk really swings through the shoulder with a big over track, his trot is active and rhythmical and his canter is uphill with a lot of scope. He is soft in the hand and works very nicely up to the contact in a lovely outline. He is ridden in a snaffle for every discipline. He is nicely forward going to ride and responsive to the riders aids. He is very straight forward in the sense that you don't have to do much, he does it all for you. He is very rideable and the perfect medium speed. He gives his rider such a lovely feel and really makes you feel good about yourself. He is a very sensible sane ride who does give his rider confidence. He has been ridden by a range of different riders including a 15 year old girl who produced him in Ireland. He is not a novice ride as he deserves a rider with some experience and feel to reach is potential. He is schooling preliminary/novice level and does some leg yielding. He has competed successfully at unaffiliated preliminary level dressage with his previous owner and was placed with high 60 percent scores. He is more than ready to affiliate and work his way through the levels BD. He has so much potential and the right brain as he wants to do the job.

Louie loves his jumping and makes a nice scopey shape. He is nicely forward going into a fence and is very honest and genuine to jump. He is very bold and jumps all fillers and water trays first attempt confidently. He knows his job well and will go on a short or long stride and help his rider out. He is very ridable around a course of fences. He has competed successfully at unaffiliated sj up to 100cm with ease with his previous owner. He has scope to jump higher tracks but hasn't been rushed or over fased. He would also excel at riding club level and be perfect to take on jumping clinis ect. He would be the perfect step up from ponies for a competent teen.

Louie is equally as bold over xc jumps. He is a real xc machine, point and aim type who is very genuine. He really enjoys going xc and has plenty of pace to make the time at events. He jumps everything asked of him including ditches and water complexes. He is a very straight forward ride and takes his rider into the fences nice and confidently. He really gives his rider confidence as he is very genuine and loves his jumping and doesn't get strong or silly. He has done lots of xc schooling and hunter trails. He has so much potential to excel as an eventer as he is very good at all 3 disciplines and has a very ground covering gallop where he would easily make the xc time. I can see him making a fabulous grass roots eventer as well as being very competitive up through the levels.

Louie is good to hack both alone and in company. He is good in general day to day traffic, if a lorry or tractor come we turn him into a gateway where he stands nicely and waits for it to pass as he hasn't seen much larger traffic. He is sensible in open spaces and enjoys a good canter through a stubble field or along a nice grass track. He will happily lead or follow and gives his rider a lovely ride. Louie has also hunted in Ireland where he was a star so he would make a super hunter also.

Louie has a great kind temperament. He puts a smile on your face every day. He loves people and will make someone an amazing best friend. He is always good to catch and lead in. He loves all the attention of being groomed and pampered. He is very easy to handle in all ways. He lives in and out and is happy be turned out next to or in with other horses. He is great to shoe, wash and load. He is also very straight forward to ride at new places. He really is such a genuine honest horse who deserves the best of homes.

Smart enough paces for pure dressage and would be capable of stepping up to Novice and beyond but also easy for an inexperienced rider to take to prelim dressage and do well.

Unaffiliated showjumping and combined training at 70cm and 80cm, many placings including firsts. Careful showjumping and happy with all XC fences including ditches, water and banks.

He has not been pushed and thus far has only competed at 70cm and 80cm, and schooled occasionally at 90cm.

Not hunted with us but super fun rides, beach rides etc. Attended riding club camps at Pontispool and Stonar.

Good to box, shoe, clip, traffic. Very easy to do in all ways and pleasure to handle and very sweet nature.

Exceptionally well bred & low mileage.

It’s taken me all summer to finally write this as I simply love this horse but with ‘Taylor’s’ jockey heading off on travels before uni, it’s time to find him his next loving home.

Well mannered & confidence giving, he’s perfect for someone looking to step up to horses or alternatively wanting to step down to something safer but still fun. He is light in the mouth & responsive to the aids.

Taylor has done a bit of everything between my son & daughter (18 & 14) over the last two years inc camps & eventing clinics at Somerford & Greenlands EC, PC & NSEA - qualifying for national champs with new 12yr old rider.

He loves XC (Badminton grassroots prospect).
Bred to jump (I’m told his half sister won European gold league) yet we’ve only asked up to 90cm of him out & up to 1m15 at home.
He’s even done some archery - my son’s favoured discipline.

Does not weave or wind suck & is a dream to load (box or trailer).
