I’ve had Cru since July, bought as a summer project to stop myself going mad while my other horse had some downtime. He has turned out to be a very sweet horse, really coming out of his shell and showing a lot of potential.

He has been out on hound exercise, on a couple of fun rides, xc schooling, been popping some showjumps at home, all to try and show him a bit of everything and he is taking it all in his stride. Certainly makes 90cm feel effortless! He will hack on his own or with others. Starting to school nicely and is developing a natural outline. He is good for the farrier, good to clip, travels well and will stand on the box while you have a gossip and a picnic!

Gets turned out in a herd of 20+ horses in a 35 acre field, easy to catch and would be happy in or out. Like any young horse he is still a work in progress, so please no time wasters, nervous novices, or people with ridiculous expectations.

He’s a lovely horse so a nice home is a must.

Floras a super sweet little mare, I backed her for her owners in the summer followed by a month in the field. Now she’s back and ready to look for her forever home due to being a bit too small.

Shes proven to have a great attitude to her ridden work, has started popping small fences and hacking out alone and in company. She is used to farm machinery, and will happily school next to a busy working farm.

She is good to trim, load and catch, and is all round lovely to look after. I would consider her a very easy young horse to ride, however she is still a 4 year old that needs to continue her education therefore wouldn’t suit a complete novice. However she would be perfect first youngster for a competent young rider.

Flora is homebred so all history is known, She’s been professionally backed and ridden away and hasn’t shown any vices- Has never bucked reared or bolted.

Ridden in a snaffle, good in open spaces. She’s been on her first arena hire and was perfect, easy to tack up by the lorry and not spooky or fresh being away from home.

She jumped everything I asked her too and was bold and confident up and down steps and into the water.

Longacres Standing Ovation X Broadstone West Country

AES registered coloured Warmblood 3yr old rising 4yrs in March, pink papered filly stood just over 15.2 to finish at approx 15.3-16h. Penelope, Pea for short, has some seriously classy dressage breeding lines, super paces and stand out looks. Even though she has top dressage lines, I think she would make a super potential all rounder or event horse also.

Pea has now began her education (21/10/25) and started being bitted this week; groundwork will continue before backing her in the coming weeks. She can stay to be fully broken if wanted or go as she is.
