Folks, please feast your eyes on the delight that is Reuben! 

Currently standing a smidge under 15h with growing and filling out to do, Reuben is a 4 year old, registered Connemara gelding. N/N

He is an incredibly happy chap, always smiling and pleased to be involved with anything going on, he has a kind, willing temperament with plenty of character without being bolshy with it. 

Reuben arrived unbroken from Ireland in September, he was well handled and so we did a little bit of work starting him off on the groundwork pre backing, and then he went out in the field with me at home for a couple of months to relax and grow a bit. 

He came back in onto the yard about a month ago like he had never left (I think he was glad to be back out in the field with his lad mates, those mares at home certainly kept him in his place) and he has been a joy and great fun to work with as we have progressed with him. 

He is a very good boy to catch, in fact he’s always the first over and the one that gets right in the way when you are poo picking, he leads in from the field  like a good ‘un (he leads in on his own or in a bunch), he ties up patiently on the yard and adores a brush and a fuss, he picks his feet up extremely politely and is great to tack up. 

He is currently lightly backed, he is working very nicely on the long reins around the farm and has been mooching around on them in the school while others have been working, he doesn’t bat an eyelid at standing patiently while I am videoing someone else and stuff. He has been out on the XC in hand and has had a pop up and down the steps and through the water, he has been sat on a handful of times and gave no hoots whatsoever from the word go, he stands very patiently at the mounting block. He has had a hack out round the farm with a pal, and yesterday (24/01/26), after not being sat on for 5 days I got straight on him in that bitter howling wind and he had his first trot under saddle in the school. He is obviously green and wobbly as he has only just started his education under saddle, however he gives you a very safe feeling and is willing and forward without being sharp or too quick, you can get your leg on him and give him direction and he is not at all reactive. 

Reuben is a very correct stamp of a Connemara, he has no lumps or bumps and is good enough to show either plaited or natural and would also be a super Working Hunter stamp. 

A fabulous all round, great looking, friendly, willing package, Reubens ideal human would  be a confident, experienced person looking for a fun, willing partner who hasn’t been rushed but has all the basics in place, to bring on for all BD/Cotswold Cup/PC/RC activities and in the future, once he has learnt a little more, I’d say he will be a fabulous mother/daughter share. 

Added to all the fabulousness listed above, he is a dude to have around the yard with his cute face and outgoing person and he is, of course, a FABULOUS colour! Win win all round I say!

I had bought honey as a project to break. She began her journey in February showing great signs of willingness to learn and showing great potential.
Honey has attended working Hunter 70cm 4 year old class at Haganscroft picking up first place 
She has attended various sj training shows at 80cm height proving her abilities, balance, potential and scope
Honey has schooled round ash hollow and also competed at the derby day
honey competed in the horse working Hunter 70cm at omagh show picking up 1st place impressing the judges with her abilities at a young age

Completed hunt with Donegal harriers with 16 year old

Marley is my 8 year old KWPN cross gelding standing 16.3/17hh.

I have owned him from a 2 year old but known him from a foal so full history known.

His dam is a 17.2 KWPN jumping mare, sire 15hh sports pony (Diamond storm Murphy) by the prolific Stormhill Mink.

Marley has excellent conformation, straight moving with no lumps or bumps. He has 3 exceptionally balanced paces and is very agile and athletic to go with it. He schools beautifully from the seat and soft to the hand. He find lateral work very easy, leg yield, shoulder in and simple flying changes, medium and extended trot. He is as soft as can be and could have a piece of thread from my hand to his bit.

Marley will hack out alone or in company and has never bucked, reared, bolted etc. although he may have a little spook at things, he always goes past ANYTHING.

I have had Marley out to unaffiliated dressage and jumping (80cm which was effortless for him) and not phased by any fillers/water trays etc. we have also done many clinics and camps covering jumping and XC where he excels.

He loves to jump with a bold, confident, brave and careful jump. I have schooled him upto 105cm which he does with ease (but I am no showjumper) and told he is a 120cm horse all day long. At the last clinic (Somerford park) the instructor told me she expected my eventing debut by the end of this season.

He is ready to progress his career now with someone who can take him out places and do more with him.

Although he is a safe horse, he is not a novice ride and requires a knowledgeable rider as he is light to the aids and needs very little leg (but in no way silly). Like I say, he has never bucked, bolted, reared at all,

I am sadly parting with my heart horse due to my own personal circumstances and health as he deserves to be out doing what he loves - a job!!

He has never been sick or sorry a day in his life and open to any vettings etc. he is perfect to load and travel. Great with farrier (I have him unshod as he has great feet so never been shod) perfect to trim and clip. I only do half face as he doesnt like clippers around his ears.

No vices at all!!

Upto date with teeth, back and vaccinations. Lots of pics and vids available.

This is the hardest decision I have had to make and would love to see Marley go to a home ideally to event but with a varied job as he deserves the best.

Heartbreaking sale of my first homebred. Flo has been carefully and slowly produced. Through no fault of her own has had since last may In the field, due to personal circumstances and divorce.

She jumped two shows as a 5 yrs and was placed and clear jumping faults in her first 5yrs class.

She is hot, eager to work and quirky. But never malicious. Won’t always stand to get on so you have to be ready to get on and GO! Or scratch her neck or bum with a tail combe while getting on.

She does not suffer fools! But does love to work! Well established on the flat with auto changes and very well educated into, over and after a fence, being one of the more rideable horses round a course in my barn.

She will only suit someone who both I and she chooses to be her forever home!

Very well loved mare with a special place in my heart. Priced to sell and she has a small bog spavin on her left hind due to a chip being removed as a 2yo. This is also reflected in the price.

Very smart, talented, Irish bred gelding with beautiful conformation and paces.
Has hunted, showjumped and evented at 90cm+, qualifying for the eventing series in Ireland as a 5yr old.

Not phased by ditches, water, steps or hedges, is also a very capable, careful showjumper, easily adjustable and will take a miss and chip in or go off a long stride as needed, easily makes the horse distances on BS courses.

Very correct conformation, floaty paces, goes beautifully on the flat and has a super technique over a fence. 

Same home for the past 3 yrs, bought direct from breeder (homebred). Has done a bit of everything from SJ / Dressage / Arena Eventing / Unaffiliated 80cm Eventing / Riding Club Camps and hacking.   Would make an amazing WHP HOYS contender as he is beautifully put together and has that real star quality. Would equally suit a competitive, capable teen / petite adult to produce him further to reach his potential.

Hacks well in company, will happily go infront or behind, not silly in open spaces. Will hack alone with a confident rider, the more he goes out in familiar surroundings the better he gets. 

He is a complete dream to load, loads himself, never taken a backward step to load and we go out alot. Can be stabled by himself, happy to be left on the trailer and munch his hay. 

Lives on fresh air, very good doer, loves his food and I do watch his weight.  Barefoot, use hoof boots for hacking, has brilliant feet but could be shod again if preferred. Needs sedation to clip.

Would not be suited to a novice passenger or nervous rider, he is a smart competition horse with character.  Benefits from a forward thinking positive rider.
