The 3rd dam, by Heartbreaker, is also a maternal sister to the mother of Toulon, (also by Heartbreaker). Toulon was consistently ranked among the world's Top 10 showjumping sires for many years, and reached World No.1 in the Hippomundo sire rankings in 2025.

Dory has successfully competed up to Foxhunter level and has plenty of scope and potential to progress further with the right rider. More recently, we’ve been having fun and enjoying him around Newcomers where he is competitive, enthusiastic and genuinely loves his job.

He has an **enormous heart** and is the sort of horse who always wants to get to the other side of the fence. **He has never stopped and is incredibly genuine and forgiving when things don't quite go to plan for his jockey. He will help his rider out, think for himself and isn't one to hold a mistake against you.

Dory is a talented, forward-thinking competition horse with stunning paces, who is happiest with a confident, competent rider. That said, underneath him is an incredibly nurturing and forgiving character who gives his rider confidence. He wants to work with you, not against you.

Although showjumping is very much his passion, he is extremely versatile. Great to hack and very road safe alone & in company. Confidently schooled 1m Arena Eventing @ Pyecombe, going through water with a smile on his face, making him enjoyable outside of the showjumping ring too. His flatwork is spot on and rides a dressage test beautifully . Dory will definitely suit eventing.

On the ground he is a gentle, affectionate soul who absolutely adores attention and will happily stand being fussed over. He has a wonderful personality and is a horse you quickly become very attached to.

Easy to do. Great to box, travel and stand on the lorry & at the ring at a show so competing is stress free and a joy.

Oceana has jumped up to 1.10m in France with an amateur girl before coming over to England and immediately starting to win out BS. BS name OCEANA L.A.B.

Oceana has been slowly and correctly produced. Backed as a 5yo and lightly produced before starting her competition career as a 6yo. Her longevity in the sport has always been a top priority. X-rayed clean as a 3yo and now again as a 7yo, full set available to see along with a clean 5 stage vetting.

She has scope for 1.20m+ as a pure showjumper but also would seriously excel as an eventer, she moves beautifully on the flat and is bold & brave XC doing ditches, water, skinnies etc. Forward, blood, buzzy ride so she’s not for a nervy rider but she would suit a gutsy teen, competent amateur or small adult.

Oceana has textbook technique and is naturally careful and brave at a fence. She wants to jump clear but will always help her rider out on a miss and is extremely forgiving. She likes a soft quiet rider who will let her travel to a fence, she is not suited to a novice or nervous rider.
