Dysalau Daphne Dubh is a pure bred Irish draught Mare by Dysalau Dewi Dewr, she has Hillview farm Milligan, Rhythm & Blues, Kensons King William, Echo King Breeding. She was scanned in foal to a colt by Aye Aye Skipper last autumn due July 2026. rescanned last week still positive.

Dubh has been slow grown not pushed she has lived out on good hay and grass and left to mature, she has not been pressured, she is very confident and willing, straight moving, wide chest and a broad body and enormous bum. she is still maturing with a fine head .

Her mother was sold to the household cavalry, and Dubh has the same very steady personality, she doesnt panic over anything. she is happy even at this young age to just be on her own, come away from the others, but if we are honest she actually likes people more than horses.

She is willing to have a go and loaded on the trailer in the field first time, she has had a life of being a horse and so she knows no negativity to anything, she has total trust in people. She will be a solid addition to a breeding program or as a ridden horse.

She has Black and Dun breeding in her and although she is in foal to a grey Irish draught by aye aye skipper her black breeding is more sort after.

My young grandchildren have sat on her in the yard and been led round but she is not backed, just played with

There are not enough nice things I can say about this mare ! I Bought Buttons as 3 year old from the breeder last year. I have slowly broken her over the winter and is now ready to find her new home.

She is by Soco blue (zirroco blue) out of a cardento mare

She has been to 2 shows jumping British novice both times going straight round and unfazed by anything at all. She warms up beautifully with other horses. I take her on her Own and do everything by myself and she is just a pleasure to do. She makes going to a show enjoyable experience without having to worry

She has been xc schooling showing she is bold and brave. She went on her own with no lead and went straight into the water and down steps no questions asked. She jumped everything in sight with no problems what so ever.

She has the best personality and the kindest nature and would be a true asset to somebody. Buttons hacks out on the lanes by the yard perfectly, she leads our older horses out and is very patient with passing cars and vehicles.

Shes up to date with vacs and teeth. I’ve also had her x rayed head to toe back in January and she has good x rays.

Very reluctant to sell and If she doesnt then she will be kept to produce on futher.

4yo this time, currently standing 15.2. A super smart compact type. He is brave, bold and has had a super start and handled well from a foal.

This super young horse just amazes us with how brilliant his brain is. He has been under saddle 6 weeks. He has been to his first arena hire where he behaved like a pro. Popping some small fences including water trays and fillers etc. he naturally wants to work correctly so will pick things up quickly. Does his changes etc. Hacks around our fields on his own etc.

He has not had one day where he has been difficult or does not want to work. He enjoys everything you ask of him.

He loads and travels well despite not doing much of this.

He is a genuine young horse who i believe has the ability to go and do any job to a good level. He has been so straight forward to work with he would probably suit someone wanting to produce their first young horse.

Chicken is a true teenagers horse, loves to win and is quick against the clock. Tones of scope jumped to newcomers with teenage girl. She will take a miss and not hold it against you, easy to take out to shows good to get on, handle, bath, farrier, dentist and clip etc.

Straightforward type, snaffle mouthed never strong or stupid and doesn’t need working every day. She loves a variety of work and is great to take out and about and is good to load, travel and stand on any lorry.

She’s done farm rides, arena xc, grass xc, stayaway shows and more great to hack happy at front or back alone or in company. Doesn’t bother when one goes off ahead is happy waiting back or joining in doesn’t get silly. Loves a splash in the water, would do a bit of everything but our personal priority is showjumping. Great with animals, farm machinery, kids she’s seen it all!

Not stupid or silly but is a young competition horse so not for a novice.

The ultimate pocket rocket who will happily step up for the bigger jumping days but is equally capable of stepping down for a competent child.

Missy has done every fun ride going and has enjoyed many trips to the beach with both children and adults. She is a well-known face on the hunting field and absolutely thrives in that environment.

Previously whipped-in in Ireland before coming to us, Missy absolutely loves her hunting and jumping. In the 7 years I’ve owned her she has never stopped at a fence. She will happily sit anywhere in the field and is not strong, just keen and enthusiastic about her job.

That said, I wouldn’t put a complete novice on her out hunting, simply because she enjoys it so much and may be a little much for someone brand new to hunting.

At home she is quiet enough for a novice.

Missy is clueless in the school, but will happily pop round a course of show jumps or cross-country fences. She hacks alone, is absolutely bombproof, and takes everything in her stride.

She is easy to do in all ways with absolutely no vices.

Lettie is a talented very well bred mare who loves her work, she has 3 balanced paces and works in a lovely soft outline, she knows basic lateral work including leg yield and shoulder in. she does a change each way, she is forward off leg but not sharp, flashy paces and would produce a stunning test as so rideable and has the best brain so would easily pick up the trickier movements

She is so much fun to jump, has jumped discovery on a ticket, goes on any stride not phased by any filler/tray, never holds a grudge and always gets you to the other side, she will be quick in a jump off as quick and always looking for next fence, but never strong, goes in a snaffle and very adjustable. has huge amounts of scope and will quickly get her double clears and move up levels. been ridden in ring by amateurs, has xc schooled previously proving bold and brave, we havent taken her yet but will be shortly.

Lettie is good to do in all ways on the ground, she is a kind mare who wants to please and good to clip/bath shoe. stands quietly tied up and loves a fuss, isnt mareish. she is good to hack alone and in company, good in traffic and open spaces, and goes in front or behind. the only one negative i can say about her is in her last home she apparently had a small nap when going to arena with a young inexperienced girl, she never napped going into ring or when in the school. This hasnt been a problem with us and she hacks to arena on a long rein with ears pricked and not put a foot wrong, however for this reason we wont be selling her to a novice.

Tilly is by the legendary Tangelo, out of a Calvados mare who jumped to 1.30m, from a proven dam line producing multiple 1.30m+ jumpers.
She was a late starter due to having a foal.

Now ready to find a new rider to continue her progression up the levels.

Recently won a Newcomers and ready to step up to Foxhunter in the next few shows. Confidently schooling around 1.30/1.35 level at home.
She has scope for 1.30/1.40 classes. Tilly is a fun horse that could be top class silver league horse/ COH horse. She takes a miss, really adjustable, makes the distances, a great competitor for tours abroad. Equally would event or do dressage – she is very versatile. Tilly has cross country schooled exceptionally well, confidently jumping water, steps and ditches first time, taking everything in her stride. On the flat she is established and correct, schooling in a snaffle with balanced paces, flying changes and lateral work.

Give her a few days off and she is just the same, kind and genuine temperament but has enough blood that she has something about her. Not spooky and has never stopped. Hacks confidently in heavy traffic, no vices, excellent to shoe, load and travel. Will stand on the lorry on her own or in company. Has only seen the vet for vaccinations, never been lame, sick or sorry. Lives in or out.

She is a very easy horse to have around and suitable for a competent amateur or rider coming off ponies.

She is a very special mare and a sort that are increasingly difficult to find.

Open to ideas re. age and experience - I would consider something younger and ready to step up the levels or something slightly older and more established.
MUST pass a 5-stage vetting and x-rays (I have had 2x horses with kissing spine in the last 18 months, one of which had to be retired).

Must be good to do/polite in all aspects - clip, load (trailer or lorry), shoeing, teeth, catching etc, and no vices. Must also be able to live out in a herd with 3x other geldings and hack alone.

Preferably something forward going but not silly or sharp. Ideally a willing, genuine attitude - absolutely no rearing, napping, wild bucks (an occasional exuberant one is understandable), etc.

5* loving, forever home for the right horse - my horses want for nothing and enjoy doing a bit of everything, including Riding Club, hacking and competing in all disciplines. I am a UKCC L3 coach, PC AH & B+ test holder and have evented at BE100/PC100+, SJ unaffiliated at 1.10m and competed in BD up to elementary. Theo has been brought on slowly from a 4 year old by his current owner, hacked, schooled and been out showing.

He’s has lovely conformation and good comfortable paces. Working sweetly in all 3 paces in the arena with a good mouth. Enjoys his hacking and hacks alone and in company and has been good in the traffic met to date.

Just started learning about jumping and this is definitely something that he would excel at given more education. He makes a good natural shape and tries really hard to understand what’s being asked of him.

Theo has potential to go on and do many jobs, best suited to a relatively experienced home that is able to carry on producing a lovely unspoilt young horse.

He’s a real character, everything goes in his mouth and he loves to fling his bucket out of his stable when he’s finished his dinner! Loves a groom, good to catch/load/shoe.
