Derg Fascination - 16.1, 11 year old gelding by OBOS quality

Impy is a competitive and attractive horse looking for a new home. Evented up to Intermediate with highlights including individual top10 finishes at the Youth Eventing Championships in both the 100 and 2*, where he was a counting score for the team wins both years. He has also numerous double clears at Novice, multiple top 10 finishes, 23 BE points and is qualified for novice masters 2025.

Impy is naturally athletic and incredibly careful - he never wants to touch a fence. He is quick against the clock and will turn on a sixpence. He has jumped up to foxhunter on a ticket with scope for more making him a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to move up the levels. He has no BS points yet all the experience - a rare find.

Produced and ridden by a teenager since a 6year old, Impy would make a fabulous first horse off ponies/ children on horses ride and is snaffle mouthed for all phases. He is beautifully schooled being a winner up to elementary and schooling at medium level at home, he is a polite and forgiving ride willing to take a miss.

This winter Impy has been out hunting with the Farmers Bloodhounds/SDBH after I unfortunately lost my confidence cross country which does reflect in his record. This year he has competed two double clears at 100 and with the right rider Impy could easily step back up and be a very competitive u18’s/Juniors horse - equally he would be a fantastic showiumper. Nala is an excellent talent ideal for any rider wanting to go out and be competitive. She is immensely careful and rarely takes a fence (if she does it’s 100% rider error!), she will always take a miss for you but she likes to have a forward thinking and confident rider who is soft in the hand.

Qualified for 1.05 National Championship this year, just had an excellent show at Spring Championships jumping 5 consecutive DCS, she’s a clear round machine.

Good to do in all ways on the ground; clip, shoe, catch, load, travel, stand on box, dentist etc. Nala is straightforward to ride but can be sharp so she’s not for a nervous or novice rider. Her record speaks for itself, her novice owner never gelled with her but with me she’s jumped back to back DCS and shows a lot of scope and talent.

Nala would suit a competent young rider wanting to go up the levels, an experienced amateur who wants to chase the bronze and silver league finals for HOYS, or even a professional who wants to add to their string. She can turn on a sixpence and is a point and shoot ride in the ring.

Godington Ursula is a half sister to approved stallion Godington Utah. Her competition credentials are beyond reproach being by 4* eventer and Gr PrPix dressage Anglo Arab Icare d'Olympe.

She was awarded a premium at her grading and was champion mare that day. She has been disadvantaged by being out of work through no fault of her own as we were so short staffed that some of our youngsters had to be returned to the paddocks for a while until we had enough riders plus the double whammy of COVID.

She has now returned to work with a vengeance and is ready for her competition career with a new dancing partner.

Bred to event but she will also do well at pure dressage as her paces are excellent. Her rider Ruth says she is great fun, a joy to ride and very willing.

Travels well, good with farrier and vet, good on the road. She has already this year been out to dressage, SJ and arena/full eventing competitions - all unaff. Placed every time. Recently placed 2nd and 4th at 80cm ODE (unaff).

She has a tremendous walk and trot and has been assessed by championship Para rider as temperamentally suited for Para dressage. This does not mean that she is a bombproof, braindead plod. She is a lively young competition horse but has a sweet and forgiving nature that will tolerate rider imbalance and mistakes.
