Pebble ran once in a National hunt bumper but didn’t show any desire to be a racehorse. She has just had some downtime in the field since then. She would really benefit from having her own person who is willing to start from scratch and work with her not against her.

She’s currently in light work. She does basic flatwork, she has three balanced paces. She hasn’t done much schooling so is very green but this is a working progress.

She hasn’t previously done any jumping but I have started getting her over poles and small jumps which she took in her stride.

A very genuine, talented Thoroughbred who has been with me and one of my clients since he was a three-year-old. He was lightly raced before being retired and I have carefully and sympathetically retrained him over the last seven years.

On the flat, OP works in a lovely, consistent outline and has won at Preliminary dressage. He has competed successfully with British Showjumping up to 1m, is never spooky and has an honest attitude to his fences. He very rarely says no and is regularly in the ribbons, including being placed in the British Novice at Hickstead. He would also make a fantastic contender for RoR classes.

OP has a lovely nature on the ground and genuinely enjoys attention and fuss. He is easy to handle and is good to clip, shoe, travel and load, making him a pleasure to have on the yard.

Although we have limited hacking where we are now, he previously hacked extensively in Gloucestershire both alone and in company. He is sensible in traffic and has also been to the beach.

As a Thoroughbred, he can be a little more forward and excitable when out and during the winter months, so he is not suitable for a novice rider. He is, however, a genuine horse who would suit a confident adult rider looking for a fun, versatile partner to enjoy dressage, showjumping, or RoR competitions.

He truly is the definition of a gentle giant. Harold has the kindest temperament and is trusted to be handled, led, turned out and brought in by complete novices. Harold is an incredibly versatile horse who has enjoyed success across multiple disciplines. We have been active members of the British Riding Club, competing and training in groups. He has competed British Showjumping at British Novice and Discovery level, although this has never been our main focus and my own lack of confidence over bigger fences is reflected in his record rather than his ability.
