FOR SALE: NOA - 16.1hh | 7-year-old | KWPN | Gelding | £45,000

Location: Ashington, West Sussex

Noa is a flashy and talented gelding with three expressive, flashy paces and an exceptional temperament, he is an absolute pleasure to train and ride.

He’s well established on the flat and is confident with leg yield, shoulder-in, medium trot and canter, counter canter, walk to canter, and rein back. He is currently training travers, half pass, walk pirouettes, simple changes and flying changes, he has a great attitude for learning and is developing quickly.

Over a fence, Noa has a careful, scopey jump and a lovely, round bascule. He gives a fantastic feeling and is athletic, careful and honest.

Noa truly shines cross-country, he’s bold, brave, and intelligent. He jumps everything in front of him with confidence and class, treating complex, spooky questions like a set of plain logs. He is rideable and careful. In his entire eventing career, he’s only had two 20s, both down to rider error (going too quick!) during a combination. He’s currently being ridden in an eggbutt snaffle across all three phases.

He’s a lovable, playful character with an eager-to-please attitude and a heart of gold. Noa is extremely sound with excellent feet and legs, has no medical history or injuries, and hasn’t taken a lame step in the four years I’ve owned him. I bought him as a 3-year-old direct from the breeder, so his full history is known.

We run a rehabilitation yard so he sees the physio/chiro fortnightly and regularly goes on the water treadmill. No stone has been left unturned in his care for the last 4 years.

He comes from top breeding lines, he’s a ¾ brother to my 4* eventer, and his full brother is competing at top-level dressage in the USA.

Noa would be a fantastic partner for a competitive Junior or Young Rider aiming for 2* and 3* in the near future. He’s competed at BE Novice level but, having just missed out on the top 10 placings, remains eligible for grassroots. He’s currently starting his 2025 season at BE100 to give potential buyers the opportunity to ride at grassroots if he were purchased now. He will be stepping back up to Novice shortly.

Noa has numerous top 10 placings at BE100 and is well established at Novice level, ready to be competitive this season.

Noa is perfect to shoe, clip, load, travel, hack on the road and in open spaces and is good alone or in company.

10* home is very important for this special horse. I am gutted to be selling him but I have to run this as a business and I can’t keep them all.

  • Good moving gelding
  • 5yrs-12yrs
I am looking for a sane gelding, either a younger horse to bring on or an older horse that needs to come down some grades.

My budget is lower five figures for the right horse i may find a bit more. He must have good paces and be sensible and sane as I ride around the farm and travel on my own and am getting too old to have anything sharpe.

I have evented for many years and would still like to be competitive but at a lower level now, something I can go out and have a lot of fun with but still be in the ribbons.

I have another older horse so will have company and would be turned out daily.

I am very open minded so please throw any possibilities my way.

Great facilities at home and will have a 5* home.

I may be traveling to Ireland mid April (Belfast) so would be open to seeing horses in Ireland around that time

Nala is the dream event horse for a competitive rider. She has the potential to win medals or show a younger rider the ropes. She is completely honest and genuine.

She regularly leads/in the top 3 after dressage, careful and scopey SJ, very brave and super genuine XC. Always looks for the flags with no issues ditches, water, skinnies. Complete yard favourite, easy to do in all ways and a pleasure to have around.

She'd thrive with a competitive & competent rider. We'd love to see this very special and classy mare fulfil her potential!

Only been produced by ladies.

Tough, sound, no medical issues, vets & X-rays well. Would also be ideal for US clients.

Very sad sale due to rider having been travelling now at uni.

Priced mid 5 figures but home & hassle free sale is important.

BE name: STORMY BAY

Fit and ready to go for this season

Evented to 2* with a professional previously with multiple placings including top 10s at novice level, 20 BE points

Would be a great horse for this event season or would also turn his hand to pure showjumping

Has three correct paces and knows all of the lateral movements, lovely to ride on the flat, always getting compliments from instructors.

To jump he is straight and bold, will jump anything he’s pointed at not phased by anything out XC, Water, steps etc and is always looking for the next fence. Is forward going and easy to adjust.

Good to hack alone and company, not bothered by traffic, water, livestock etc , good to do in all ways, easy on the ground and stands in the box for hours. At competitions he is calm and lets you faff around him, and is good in the collecting ring. Regularly handled by children and teenagers, easy to catch and lead. Quiet in his stable and field.

Bertie is a handsome and kind horse who has bags of talent in the right hands, was bought for a nervous 16 year old to be a schoolmaster coming off ponies, which sadly just isn’t what he wants to do as he takehis confidence from his rider, they’ve spent past year trying but he just isn’t the right horse for her. No novices or nervous riders.
