Ellie is a gorgeous 16.1 15yo bay Irish mare.

She has lovely paces, works naturally in a correct outline with a soft snaffle mouth and a lovely canter.

She is nicely schooled and would do a really sweet test. She’s responsive but not sharp.

Ellie really enjoys her jumping, she hasn’t done much of this due to owners other commitments, but she has been out to some arena hires and is proving genuine and honest with a good technique over a fence.

Although only having jumped a 70cm course as she is green in the jumping area, she shows great promise. She has popped over logs, ditches and fallen trees out hacking. Hacks alone and in company, great in open spaces and happily walls trots or canters politely through the fields.

Ellie is so kind, not mareish and has a fantastic temperament. She would suit someone wanting a lovely straightforward honest horse for any discipline.

She’d be suitable for a competent mother and daughter share. She best be suited to someone who wants a smart hack, fun ride, pub ride, riding club horse. She really will turn her hoof to anything.

A kind, willing and genuine young horse who has been a pleasure to produce for his owner. Has competed in dressage, show jumping and eventing. Hacks out alone and in company. For a big boy, he is quite balanced but he is not a novice ride as he is still young. A real yard favourite, that even my dad (who doesn’t really ride anymore) has hacked him a few times!

He was purchased direct from his breeder at 6months old, was lightly backed as a 3yr old and hunted with light competition as a 4yr old.

Morris is an incredibly kind horse who is looking for his forever home to have fun in.
Unfortunately a change of circumstance has meant the best thing for him is to be sold due to lack of time as his owner now has young children and a time consuming job.

Good to hack, shoe, clip, vet, catch etc.
He had Sarcoid surgery Dec'24 and was treated with electrochemotherapy.

Bonnie is a 15hh 5yr old mare. She’s been with us since 3yrs old and we know her full history. She has been professionally backed and schooled correctly and slowly over the last 8 months. Bonnie is currently out 24/7 in a small mixed herd and is easy to catch and bring in.

She would happily be stabled. She’s great to hack out alone or in company and great open fields/ bridle paths. She’ll happily hack past her own field with her friends in. She can be a little nervous on the road alone. She’s great to travel and has been in trailers and horsebox with no issues.

Bonnie is forward thinking and a forward ride as has been trained that way. She loves dressage and has got 3 nice paces. She recently got a score of 69% in her first prelim and will happily pop a jump.

Bonnie would happily plod out hacking or make a smart competitive ride. She would happily take a novice rider as long as they can give a little pat and tell her she’s fine if she’s in new or unnerving situation rather than a rider that would tense and panic. Jack is a super kind full Irish Draught Gelding. He stands at 15’3 and is a rising 6yo. His sire, Fintan Himself, needs no introduction. Jack has been professionally backed and is slowly being produced. He is starting to work in an outline in the arena and has started to jump under saddle, showing a willing attitude in his work and a scopey brave jump with a good technique.

He hacks alone and in company and has been great in all traffic he has seen here, from tractors, lorry’s, cars, cyclists and bin Lorry’s. He is fab in open spaces and happily canters across the farm in huge open fields. Jack has the most fantastic temperament and it’s like he’s always got a smile on his face, he’s genuine and honest.

He’d definitely be someone’s best friend! He’s lovely to deal with in and out the stable, great to catch box shoe etc.

Jack is green! He would be suited to a riding club type of home, someone who wants to finish producing a sweet horse and put their own stamp on and school their own horse up to how they want. Purchased for our riding centre last year to escort hacks do some lessons. Sadly he isn’t a solid lead horse as he’s not good enough in front to take customers out.

He ended up with the winter off as we were so busy but he is now back in work and being schooled and hacked by staff to improve his flat work. He has done lessons with more experienced riders and was schooled by staff on the flat regularly last year. He did hack alone with an experienced rider but he isn’t easy in his own. He is coming along nicely on the flat and with continued schooling he would do a dressage test/ riding club activities/fun rides.

He is not a first horse as he can be a bit rude on the ground hence he is a bit of a project as he stands. He will follow out hacking with a more novice rider (this is what he did mostly previous to us). May suit horsey home with more novice partner who wants to ride as well.

He is 16hh on a stick but looks & rides bigger. He will need to travel in a lorry not a trailer.

He is a lovely boy who needs more consistency and a one to one home to bring out the best in him with someone who really adores him, sad sale as we love him but he will thrive in private home. Sometimes he forgets he is so big and barges but this has improved a lot!

Kits cons;
Kit’s a prick. Although she lives out with my mares, she believes that she’s the alpha. She will guard the gate and haylage and threaten the mares if they come too close, and she MUST be caught first 
At times, when she’s in a foul “mare” mood, she will rear up and barge into you when leading her out/in from the field. She only does this with women.
Kit has ZERO FEAR. Although it’s one of my favourite things about her, it’s also one of her biggest issues. She isn’t afraid of ANYTHING. Personally, I think she’d make a fantastic hunting cob purely from this alone. However, that does mean that when she gets told off, she thinks it’s a game, but again, only with women.

Kit needs an experienced home, with strong willed people. She’d make a fantastic ridden horse but unfortunately with my plans this year, I just won’t have the time for her. She’s a fantastic challenge for someone.

Marco, 2020, 17 Irish Draught 9” bone.

Marco was backed and ridden away by myself last year, after doing a few in hand shows he was then left to mature over the winter.

Marco has just come back to me from “boot camp” where he has had some fantastic ground work put in place in the school, but has mostly been out and about hacking and seeing the world (happy for anyone to speak to riders) He’s taken to it all like a duck to water, and loves to please. A real people person who thrives off attention.

Never been rushed or had too much asked of him as these big horses take some time to mature and fill into their big frame. Our plans for the summer where to get him out in some hunt rides, farm park rides and just show him the world followed by some time with the hounds, but due to a drastic change in our personal circumstances it’s not going to be manageable.

Good with farrier, vet, physio, to clip etc. No quirks but does have a blemish on a hock after an accident as a foal, he has never been lame with it nor does it cause any issues. He has been hogged (first picture) but it’s growing back currently
