Oak Farm Fern - 13/04/2022. Filly SHIRE X TB

Very pretty dark bay (pictures don’t do her justice). Currently standing around 17hh

We've know Fern from 3 months old. Came to us at 6 months old.

With good intentions of keeping her and producing her slowly, unfortunately, a change of circumstances; now giving up horses.

Fern has seen farrier a few times for trims, leads well in the halter and has started to work on the lunge line.

Fern was keen and willing when in regular work, unfortunately, with no time to put towards her, she is not currently in active work.

She has been mouthed down, we have sat on her a few times. In hand she will walk/trott/canter. Has been over poles and small jumps.

Respectful of electric and normal fencing.

Fern has only ever loaded with once when she moved to ours, but is around machinery and farming equipment and not bothered at all.

We have given Fern the time to mature and fill out before being brought back into work.

Fern gets on well with other horses. LOVES PEOPLE, always the first to greet you, stands and enjoys being groomed. Apples are her favourite treats!

We would love for someone to take her on and produce her to her full potential. A truly sad sale and we want to keep in contact and follow Ferns journey.

Bob is a super fun bright genuine intelligent horse. I have been educating since I bought him last year. Would easily BD dressage, showjumping or great allrounder . He has 3 correct paces and a snaffle mouth .

Hacks on his own and in company round the farm and village .

Currently going to the RC instructional rides at Moreton Morrell College and loves the work.

This horse will excel with someone more ambitious than me as I just dont have time as I only purchased him as my dressage horse was lame.

He has super markings and would also be talented in coloured showing classes.

He is up to date with flu jabs, teeth, good to load and shoe.

Judges comments : Super little horse - very obedient and some very pleasing work. A lovely test to watch.

This horse has won rosettes every time out!

Will only sell to the right home, he needs a confident and enthusiastic rider as he will excel in any sphere.

Kallie is the most beautiful gypsy cob mare 15hh to 15.1hh rising 5 years.

True middleweight with great confirmation, paces and lots of presence. With her you get compliments wherever you go.

Fantastic to hack alone and in company and current mature owner hacked her extensively last summer as a 4 yr old.

She has less experience in an arena but happily goes walk trot and canter and will pop small fences including fillers.

Super safe and more of a leg on ride. Will excell as a safe hack/ fun rides/showing.

Good to handle in all ways, catch, load , travel etc .

Lovely personality. Fantastic feet and barefoot.

No injuries, lumps or bumps .

Kallie will be someone's horse of a lifetime.

Joe - approx 14hh, 5 year old Welsh section D gelding.

Joe is a top quality pony with a lot to offer.

Excellent conformation, clean limbed and straight moving with a beautiful dainty head.

Joe is riding well for his age. Has attended lots of arena hires, hacked alone and in company, started jumping and has the most super jump. Popped a small course of SJ’s and done some XC schooling.

Working sweetly on the flat with good transitions. Never shown a single sign of a buck/rear, he aims to please and tries really hard to do what is being asked of him.

Not a sharp type, more of a leg on ride although can be slightly typical Welsh and be looky and need his hoof holding a bit!

Super type that’ll go on to do many jobs, make a lovely 143cm working hunter for someone willing to put the work in/show/allrounder.

No novices please - he absolutely isn’t naughty in any way but he’s still a novice himself. He has a very kind temperament and tries incredibly hard to please.
Good to catch/load/farrier.

For sale on behalf of his owner who he hasn’t quite grown big enough for.

Kildangan Erin has just turned 5yrs old and is approx 15.2hh, she's lightly backed and we have done long reining across the mountain roads, she has been ridden around the yard off lead and led around the arena, so green but well started.

Erin has seen lots of machinery working around the yard and would be a perfect horse to educate over the summer months. Erin is well handled and good with the farrier, vet, wash, groom and load.

Erin bred us a gorgeous foal last year.

Up to date with vaccine's, she can get a bit of an itch in the summer but she has annual Dectomax and that solves it fully. Change in circumstances forces sad sale and the intention was to keep her as a family horse. We have owned her for 2 years.

Erin really is a quality type and would look very smart on the hunting field or at any RC type events.

Mayfair is a 15.2, 13yr old warmblood X Irish Draught.

May has competed in unaffiliated showjumping, XC and has hunted with the Taunton Vale (jumping some of the biggest hedges!) and has also hunted on the moor. She is a sure footed hardy type.

She is a forward going mare who is as brave as a lion, never says no and will jump off of any stride. She doesn’t hold a grudge if the rider makes a mistake.

She hacks out well alone and in company. She is good clip, shoe, catch etc.

However, she can be rude on the ground, never nasty but she will tow you around if you allowed her to.

The owner is motivated to find her a lovely, active home as she is a homebred.

Mayfair is 8ono, home is of upmost importance.

Penstrumbly Welsh Anthem is a super smart little horse with good conformation, a gorgeous head and a lovable kind temperament.

He is obedient and works nicely in the school into a correct outline. He is a forward, responsive ride but he isnt sharp and doesnt buck, rear, nap etc.

He has been out to local venues to do SJ hire and see fillers. He has also done some arena XC eventing including ditches, steps and water, proving to be genuine but green and needing reassurance from his rider.
He loves to jump but can get buzzy so not suitable for a nervous or inexperienced rider.

He has attended local shows and hunt relays with his previous owner and has also taken part in group and private clinics with current owner. He has also hunted in his previous and current home.

He is great to hack out both in groups and by himself and will go in front or behind. Good in traffic including farm machinery. Not spooky.

He is always a pleasure to take out, will stand on the lorry/trailer and is easy to tack up and handle when out and about.

He has lovely stable manners, a true gent and he is so easy to do. Great to load, catch, shoe, clip and wash. Lives in or out. No vices.

Genuine reason for sale.

Based on sales livery with Holly Bradshaw Eventing (Worcestershire).

Sad sale to owners M.S. and young children, is unable to provide the consistent exercise this little horse requires.

Good to shoe. Has travelled in both a trailer and a lorry. Great to clip, vet and dentist. Up to date with vaccinations. Generally good to catch. Might need a treat if she's in a fresh field of grass. Excellent in heaviest of traffic.

Never sick or sorry. Passed full 5 stage vetting when purchased 12 months ago.

Ideal PC / RC type. We've jumped her up to 1m. Is bold to a fence. But has been used as a happy hack in current home.

Needs competent home as can be a typical Welsh and be pushy on the ground with inexperienced handling.

Fit and ready for the 2025 season.

Monty is sadly looking for a new home to the right person as him and my daughter are just not clicking.

On the ground he is the sweetest horse and well mannered. Ridden he is very fun and has a nice jump on him but is a typical Welsh can sometimes have a spook and occasionally get a little bit excited in big open spaces so for these reasons NO novices.

He has previously been a dressage horse (although we would like for him to go somewhere that will keep up his jumping as well as he enjoys it so much) and an old ad says he has evented up to BE90 but with us he has mainly done show jumping up to 80cm still with scope. We have taken him to a few arena xc hires jumping up to 1m and he proved very bold to the fences and goes straight into the water.

He is good to shoe, clip, load etc, can live in or out (has done both with us). We have had him for a year on the 1st of June.

His price includes tack

NO TIMEWASTERS.

We are in no rush to sell him and home is important as he is a special boy

Barana Grail Superstar, 17.2 rising 6yo incredible quality registered full Irish draught gelding, sired by Inisfree the Holy Grail (class 1, gold merit stallion) who has sired many show winners and has bred very high standard stock. His other incredible bloodlines include Ben Purple, Holycross, Ginger Dick, Welcome Flagmount, Grey Macha & King of Diamonds.

Tom is an incredible stamp of an ID. He oozes quality and has so much potential with an amazing gentle temperament to match. Tom combines quality and bone, is a true weight carrier with a deep girth and good length of neck. He has excellent conformation, is clean limbed with no lumps or bumps. He is an absolute pleasure to ride, responsive to the aids and works correctly with 3 elastic, uphill and rhythmical paces maintaining a relaxed frame. He has good knee action which he maintains when lengthening the canter and comes back politely when asked. He has competed at prelim dressage in Ireland placing well with high 60’s scores.

Tom is forward to a fence and never says no, he has jumped fillers and trays and shows tremendous scope and makes the correct shape - neat in front and loose behind. Tom has been to UA SJ competitions in Ireland and training shows/arena hires over here jumping 1m, he’s currently schooling around 1.10/20 at home with us with plenty of scope for more. Tom has been XC schooling and to hunter trials jumping steps, ditches, water and everything in between. He hunted in Ireland with the Maynooth and Leitham harriers where he was well behaved and bold and attended pleasure rides.
Tom hacks both alone and in company and is excellent in traffic. He’s good in open spaces, often going for group canters along the river bank and stubble fields.

Tom is a lovely boy on the ground, he loves people and is very easy and good to do in all ways. Good to bath, shoe, clip, plait, turnout/catch, load & travel. He lives in or out and is happy be turned out next to or in with other horses, has mixed with mares and geldings.

Tom has been ridden by man and lady riders, passed a 5 stage vetting a few weeks ago and is sadly for sale as is too green for our client. He is a big, powerful horse who is not the finished article he can have his green wobbly moments, never nasty, but still needs to continue his education as he matures and strengthens within himself.

We cannot emphasise enough the quality this horse possesses, he’d excel immensely in the show ring as a HW working hunter or HW hunter as he combines athleticism, bravery, scope and temperament. Equally as a pure hunt horse or a top quality all rounder ready to excel in any sphere. Seen on sales livery in lingfield Surrey, open to any vet check.

He is so straight forward in everything he does.we originally mported him from Ireland.

This chap has loads to offer. He is super to hack on his own and in company. He will pop a log when out and jump a small ditch. He has seen plenty of traffic and farm machinery.

He has started working in an outline in the School and started pole work

He is good with the farrier, good to clip and will travel on a trailer or truck. Worming up to date and teeth done

I am looking for a safe, confidence giving first horse for hacking and low level activities.

I am not a beginner but I am coming out of a riding school so I need a steady and forgiving horse that doesn’t look to its rider for confidence too much. No bucking, rearing or serious napping.

I do have lots of help and support around me and I know how to look after a horse.

I am mainly looking to do off road hacking alone and in company, but a horse that will also step up and do some schooling, small jumps, dressage, fun rides, beach trips etc will be ideal.

Mare or gelding
14.2-15.1hh
Must be able to carry 13 stone
No TBs
6-14 years
No vices
Must be easy to handle, catch etc
Prefer no wall eyes or cremellos

Loving, long term, fun home awaits the right horse. Around 7k budget based in Kent so mainly looking in the south east but will travel further for the right horse.
