15.2/3hh 14yr old. He's an absolutely lovely lad, very easy on the ground, well mannered and loves a fuss.

Under saddle he is well schooled, light in the hand, forward going and just an easy ride. He's been a happy hacker, enjoying schooling and loves a blast (has brakes & sensible in open spaces)

Has learnt piaffe, knows his changes and shows lovely extensions.

Excellent manners, all round lovely person.

Has been out to low level sj (80/90) and to dressage (has always placed).

Has also been to fun rides/ hires/ clinics.

Stands for the farrier, vet, physio etc.

Although he has had a disabled rider, novice rider and nervous rider aboard and been fantastic we would prefer an experienced home for him.

J'ADORE UK. 9yo (2016) grey British bred gelding by Non Stop (1.60m) × Blue Boy (1.60m).

His mother was a career broodmare from the Van Overis Stud in Belgium. Several 1.30m-1.60m jumpers in the damline.

J'adore is BS registered with results from 85cm - 1.25m. Jumped on surface & grass, indoors & outdoors, including Hickstead's International Arena.
J'adore has won upto Foxhunter/1.20m, is still eligible for Discovery & qualified Amateur Second Rounds 2025.

J'adore will happily jump really small fences or very big ones - looking after his rider if they need. Will take a miss & not hold it against the rider. But will also sweetly canter down to 1.30m+ & jump any type of fillers or fences without a worry.

Rides correctly on the flat with auto changes & rhythmical canter. He would ride a lovely dressage test & would definitely event - as he has XC schooled confidently with petite teenage rider.

Hacks out well alone or in company - fine in traffic, with farm machinery & livestock. We also think he would hunt like a dream & team chase if his rider wanted to.

J'adore has taught his current rider so much, always been very genuine & honest in everything he does. He is now ready to give his all to his next rider! Total gentleman in the stable & on the yard, never makes a fuss & is happy in a busy or quiet environment.

Easy to load & travel. Currently shod all round. Would live in or out, happy alone or in a group.

Can be seen & tried on behalf of a livery at Wix Hill Livery Stables, Surrey.

Taboo came over from Ireland last yr. He was broken as a 4yr old last summer and went to arena uk in the 4yr old showjumping class last September.

Since then we have being producing him carefully and slowly to ensure his longevity.

He has been out to arena hires and farm rides with my daughter where he has seen water and lots of different natural fences. He hacks out alone or in company but is happiest with a friend (aren’t most of us!)

His flatwork is coming on, he has lovely long relaxed paces and is proving to be a fast learner. Taboo is gaining confidence all the time, he is careful with his feet over jumps and it is clear he has lots of natural ability.

For sale as my daughter’s studies are taking up all her time and unfortunately my mum’s cancer is now terminal and therefore I can’t give him the time he deserves. He is currently on schooling livery with Dee Kennedy. He’s a lovely gentle boy with beautiful paces that deserves a great home.

We are just off junc 10 on m56 south of Warrington.

I think he’d event great. His paces are lovely so dressage would be good and he’s careful and clever with his feet over showjumps.

Meet Vinnie, a 4-year-old 16.2hh Irish Draught cross gelding with all the quality, temperament, and bone you’d expect from a traditional Irish type. Vinnie is a beautifully put-together bay gelding with a kind, gentle nature and a willing attitude that makes him a joy to handle and ride. He’s the sort of horse that wants to do the right thing and always gives his rider 100%.

Vinnie is well-schooled on the flat, riding in a soft, consistent contact with a light snaffle mouth. He works nicely in all three paces and has a naturally balanced way of going. He’s easy and uncomplicated to ride, with a calm, forgiving temperament that would suit a range of riders—including novices, mother-daughter shares, riding schools, or even trekking centres looking for a safe, steady horse to add to their string.

Vinnie is a true allrounder, he would make a lovely riding club horse. He’s also an extremely honest and genuine jumper. Vinnie has schooled confidently up to 90cm over both coloured poles and cross-country fences. Out on the course, he takes everything in stride—ditches, drains, banks, coffins, water—he jumps it all with a brave and willing heart. He’s the kind of horse that keeps trying, even if the question gets tough, and he never says no. His attitude makes him an ideal candidate for someone looking to hunt this coming season—he’s already hunted twice earlier this year and proved himself to be mannerly, straightforward, and happy to get on with the job.

Vinnie is easy to do in all ways. He’s good to catch, box, shoe, and is safe in traffic. He hacks out happily alone or in company and enjoys being out and about. He has no stable vices, is open to any vetting, and is the kind of horse that’s hard to find—kind, safe, genuine, and with his whole future ahead of him.

Whether you’re looking for a safe partner to enjoy in the school, on the hunting field, or out hacking, Vinnie is ready to go and will settle into any routine with ease. The price includes delivery to your yard in the UK, and we offer an exchange option if you’re not happy.

A very smart ID x mare - lovely old fashioned type.

Recently imported from Ireland where she has been well started and she is showing lots of promise.

Lady has done a little bit of everything in Ireland, she has done some training rounds over coloured fences, and has done a bit of XC schooling - proving to be level headed and a quick learner.

Lovely steady mare to ride and is never hot-headed or strong, she is great out hacking and she is unfazed by even the heaviest of traffic and will pass heavy lorries and farm machinery without a blink!

A nice mare with a kind temperament that is easy both in and out of the stable, she is good to load, and great to shoe, easy to catch and lead and happily ties up anywhere on the yard.

An absolute yard favourite already and will make a great family friend.

Morjoy Lord Larame (AKA Larry)

15.1/2 6year old, compact British AES gelding.

This little dude is super brave and cool. A yard favourite with his friendly personality. He is low mileage so he is green, however is a quick learner and extremely brave. He is easy to do in all ways and would be suitable for a teenager wanting to produce something for the first time or alternatively a mother/ daughter share as he he has proven to be a safe hack but could be competitive with the right rider as showing lots of quality over a fence - Will hack on his own and does not fizz up in company. Snaffle mouthed at all times and responsive to aids. He has been ridden and jumped by a 12 year old novice.

His schooling is improving everyday, he would do a nice dressage test - has a show pony presence. We are intending to take him out to some shows in the near future but offering him for sale now before produced further.

He does have a minor “vice” when in a new environment - he stress drinks - this resorts back to normal once settled he has had yearly bloods to confirm kidney function is normal.

He is ready to crack on and have some fun.

Up to date with vaccinations and dentist, good with farrier.

Looking for a quick, hassle free sale, to the best of homes for this special boy. Sad sale due to owner circumstances.

For sale : British Warmblood - Liver Chestnut - Mare - 16 Years Old - 15.1hh
Washington Minx is a stunning and much-loved British Sports Horse who has been with us for four years. Sadly, she is now seeking a new home as I head off to University.

"Minx" is a brilliant all-rounder - talented in dressage; show jumping and cross-country. She has a kind nature, a super attitude to work, and offers three balanced, confident paces with plenty of scope. She has competed at BE in previous homes and has enjoyed plenty of success and red rosettes with us in Pony Club (qualifying for national dressage championships) and unaffiliated competitions — currently jumping 80cm to 1m. This year we have not done as much as I would have liked with A-levels.

Minx loves her jumping, is naturally forward-going, and carries herself to a fence. While she is safe and sensible and helps her jockey out, she is not a novice ride and would only suit a confident but quiet rider. She excels in a jump off. She is patient and well-mannered when out at shows. With PC activities she is happy to wait her turn and often goes last without fuss. She hacks alone or in company, is excellent in traffic, and is sensible in open spaces — happy to lead or follow.

On the ground, she’s affectionate and easy to handle, as long as she isn’t rushed. She has travelled in both trailer and lorry, currently lives out all year and turns out with mares or geldings but has been stabled previously.

Minx would be an ideal match for a confident and patient teenager or small adult looking for a fun, competitive partner who’s safe, experienced, and still has many years of enjoyment to give.

Bobby is a striking 15hh 11 year old cob x tb who I've had and produced since he was 5, now looking for a new home as I'm going to University. He has done a bit of everything - pony club camps, showjumping, dressage, hunter trials, and team chasing - and would most likely make a brilliant hunter!

Bold, brave, and scopey jumper that regularly places, competing at 80cm, but has schooled around 90-100cm at home. 3 good paces on the flat.

Not spooky or silly, bombproof in traffic, and well behaved in open spaces. Great to hack both alone and in company. More 'woah' than 'go'.

Has been ridden by little kids and recently went to a school for a War Horse display!

Easy to handle, catch, load, shoe etc. Fitted saddle and tack available. Many more pictures / videos available!

Would be an ideal horse for a teenager wanting to go out and have fun whilst staying safe - a mother's dream!

Lovely horse with a great personality that will be sorely missed.

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.

Beautiful grey 2018 thoroughbred gelding standing at a full up 16hh, Charlie is thickset for a TB and rides more like an ISH.

He has hunted two seasons, knows the job inside out but is also an excellent riding club type.

Charlie has nice paces on the flat, always snaffle mouthed and is pretty much anyone’s ride, he isn’t sharp, sensitive or challenging in any way shape or form.

Charlie loves hacking, will go out on the buckle with or without friends and couldn’t care what passes him, he’s just brilliant hacking and would easily do a happy hacking job. He’s a leg on easy going laid back ride.

He has a great pop in him over fences, a willing attitude and lots of scope, he gives you a really good feeling.

Charlie is sweet on the ground, a kind person and easy to have in the yard, great to do and a good doer, will live in or out.

Open to any vet or trainer

Domino - just a touch under 14.3, 5 year old Appaloosa mare.

The kindest most genuine soul that I’ve ever come across in a pony.

Domino has come over from Ireland having done mostly hacking, bit of XC schooling/arena hires and attended a fun ride.

She hacks alone and in company, is good in traffic and good in open spaces. Happily canters through a field on a loose rein.

Popped some XC fences here and is super honest. We’ve taken her out to an arena hire and she stood around quiet as a lamb waiting for her friends to take their turn and then popped around over water trays/fillers without questioning anything.

She isn’t going to set the world alight but she is as honest as the day is long and will try her hardest to do whatever is asked of her.

Works away happily in the school, green but willing. Shes a smart little mover with comfy paces so would definitely do some dressage with further schooling.

I have never had such a sweet and kind little mare she has a heart of gold, she only wants to please. I’d love to see her in a home that appreciates her for who she is and just has a ton of fun with her. She’s a really lovely family friend.

Good to catch/load/travel/wash off. Loves a fuss and a groom and will stand for hours to be pampered. *she’s not itchy, just has typical rubbish Appaloosa hair!

Please WhatsApp message for videos. If you call and I don’t answer please send a text - NOT voicemail (they don’t work on my phone!) and I’ll get back to you.

Located Farnham Surrey.

Picasso is a striking 15.2hh 6yr reg Leopard Spot Appaloosa gelding.

What an eye catching chap he is. Really kind person to handle and do.

He has 3 lovely paces and would be outstanding in the show ring.

We have schooled him XC and SJ. He has an impressive jump.

Just started competing SJ and giving everything a go.

He hacks alone and in company and is good in open spaces.

He is green schooling/ not yet consistent in the contact but obviously he is only young so will need bringing along. Starting hold himself in a frame.

He has been foot perfect here a real pleasure to train and work with. He hadn’t actually been ridden a lot in that period even though backed at 4years old. Has glowing references from when he was broken in.

He is up to date with teeth (recently had wolf teeth removed), physio, vaccinated.

He has come to us and then we found out he had a colourful past. Therefore, he won’t be sold to a novice rider or child. Happy to discuss with serious people.

Pancake is the most wonderful and easy all rounder or pony club star!

She’s bred to show and she moves very well as well as being good looking! She is just an easy fun mare that’s hassle free. Easy in all ways a yard favourite.

Ready to go have fun.

Flat work is good in an outline, jumping is good she loves it and not spooky. Been XC schooling and also super.

Just a fun little horse to have in the yard.

No vices, recent clean vetting when I purchased.
