Darcy is a 6yr old TB ex-racehorse ..she finished racing sound but she is just not good enough to make a racehorse:

Straightforward to do.

Hacks out in company and on her own.

Good with Farrier and good to load and travel.

Good to catch from the field and to handle.

She has started her re-training and she has shown to have a very trainable attitude….she makes a good shape over a show-jump and she was very good to XC - jumping up and down steps, riding through water and jumping all sorts of solid fences.

She is eligible for RoR classes … she is willing to learn and she could fit into most disciplines.. her flat work is coming along nicely and will improve with more education.

She was very well behaved in open fields when we took her XC training and she was happy to trot and canter when asked and all done in a snaffle.

She will be sold with a non-racing agreement.

Darcy does have a couple of small sarcoids that do not affect her in anyway and are not in any places where tack will be sitting.

She also has a scar on her left flank that she picked up when she was a foal this does not affect her in anyway or affect her way of going.

This will be reflected in her price and her owners who bred Darcy have expressed the right home is more important than price.

Darcy is a good looking mare that has a lot to offer and has a very trainable attitude.

I have plenty of videos of her jumping so please ask.

16.1hh Thoroughbred Gelding, 9 years old

Maverick is a lovely TB who was unfortunately mis sold to me as a novice safe first horse. He is not suitable for a novice or nervous rider. He needs a confident, experienced handler, ideally someone familiar with ex-racehorse, who can give him consistency, time, and clear direction.

Raced once in 2021, now looking for the right experienced home

Up to date with physio, dentist, vaccinations and farrier (recent saddle fitting also done).

All rugs included

Tack available at extra cost

Positives:

Quality bloodlines

Easy to catch

3 lovely paces, even with a novice on board

Great under saddle with an experienced rider

Has done dressage, hacking and jumped with his previous owner

Takes confidence from his rider and improves with a capable hand

No lumps or sacroids

Loves all animals and can be paired with Mares or geldings.

Points to note:

Loading needs work. He has had a bad experience in a lorry which has completely knocked his confidence.

Would suit a confident, experienced rider looking for a horse to bring on as thier own.

This is a very hard sale for me. I feel like I’ve let him down, but I don’t want to keep him in the wrong home. For that reason, homes will be vetted and he will only go to the right person who understands what he needs, so that he isn’t passed on again.

Name: Kinda
Breed: Irish Cob
Age: 5 years
Height: 15hh
Colour: Dun
Sex: Mare

Type: Cracking All-Rounder / Happy Hacker

Safe, Sensible and Super Steady

Kinda is a kind, calm, and very sweet-natured Irish Cob mare. At just 5 years old, she’s already proven herself to be incredibly safe, steady, and experienced.

She’s a fantastic all-rounder who will suit a variety of riders – whether you’re looking for a confidence-giver, a happy hacker, or something to enjoy fun rides and low-level competitions with.

She has a gentle, easy-going personality and absolutely lovely manners. She will stand quietly at the mounting block without being held, waits patiently in her stable even with the door open, and is never pushy or strong.

Kinda is ideal for solo riders, competent novice, or someone wanting a calm and reliable ride.

Ridden Work

Kinda has three balanced paces and rides beautifully on the flat. She’s calm and relaxed but responsive to the leg if asked – very sensible and never spooky, silly, or sharp.
Snaffle mouth with no gadgets
She enjoys jumping, has a lovely scopey technique, she participates in fun rides, in house jumping competitions, cross country and low level dressage.

Kinda is mature beyond her years -She works in a lovely outline with three balanced paces and is schooling well on the flat, including lateral work and basic dressage movements.

She has a bold, confident jump and would easily progress to a higher level with a competent rider. Kinda has the perfect balance of “go” when asked, but is equally happy to relax on a loose rein for a calm more whoa kind of ride.

Proven in a Riding School Environment

Kinda is currently working in a busy riding school setting where she is ridden by a wide range of riders – from competent novices to more experienced children and adults. She takes everything in her stride working independently and within a large group, she is responsive to the leg when asked whilst remaining super sensible and calm.
She hacks out alone or in company. She is 100% safe in open spaces, doesn’t rush home, and doesn’t pull or get strong – even after a canter or gallop, she’ll come straight back to walk on a loose rein. She’s confident in traffic, not clingy with other horses, and will ride away from the herd without a second thought.

Handling & Management

Kinda is a pleasure to handle on the ground. She stands quietly for grooming (even loose with no headcollar), is easy to lead, and has no vices in the stable or field. She’s happy to live in or out and is equally settled in a herd or on her own.
She’s currently turned out at night and stabled during the day but would adapt easily to full turnout or full stabling. She is currently barefoot, but is equally happy to be shoed, she is good with the farrier, dentist, clip, load and travel.
Kinda has excellent ground manners, good to catch, groom, bath. She doesn’t need riding every day and can be left for weeks or months without changing – no lunging needed, just tack up and go.

She’s never had laminitis, sweet itch, sarcoids, or any lumps or bumps, no marish or clingy, she passes our annual licence inspection, which is equivalent to a Stage 2 vetting.

Genuine Sale

This is a heartbreaking sale. We regularly rotate our horses giving them the chance to enjoy one-to-one attention in a private home. Kinda deserves a loving, forever home where she can continue to thrive.

We have a few other horses and ponies also available.

Photos and videos available on request.

Cindy has been with me for 8 years and this is a very sad sale but she is wasted with me as I don’t have the time she deserves.

She is an amazing all rounder that has taken part in dressage, sj, xc, eventing, working hunter, showing, beach rides etc.

Cindy always scores high in dressage and receives amazing compliments from every dressage judge. She loves xc and will never stop at any jump, competing at eventing Ireland courses many times.

She is currently jumping 80/90cm courses due to me not having the confidence for higher.

She can be left off work for weeks or even months and rides like she has been rode every day, she is a very hard type to find.

Easy to shoe, clip, load and quiet to hack round the roads. She loads herself onto the box as I usually go to shows on my own with her. No vices

Anyone who buys her will be very lucky.

Irish Leisure Horse | 6-Year-Old Black Gelding

Super Safe | True Gentleman | Schoolmaster | Cracking All-Rounder

Charlie is the perfect example of a kind, calm, and considerate horse. Both on the ground and under saddle, he is a true gentleman — incredibly safe, well-mannered, and a pleasure to have around.

He is an ideal choice for a competent novice, returning rider, or anyone looking to progress their riding in a safe and fun way. Charlie is steady, gentle, and easy-going, yet responsive to the leg and happy to move forward when asked. He offers three excellent, balanced paces with enthusiasm and a willing attitude.

Charlie is never spooky, sharp, or silly. He is calm and relaxed while remaining light and responsive to the rider. He loves to pop a jump or log and shows plenty of scope and confidence, making him a great prospect for dressage, showjumping, cross country, or hunting for someone who wants a versatile partner.

He is currently working in a riding school, where he is ridden by competent novice to experienced riders.

He takes everything in his stride, never pulls, rushes, or gets nervous, and approaches every ride with the same enthusiasm and good nature.

Charlie is extremely forgiving of mistakes, patient at the mounting block (will happily wait as long as needed), and unbothered by anything you throw at him. He is a truly exceptional confidence giver and family horse who loves attention, grooming, and a good pamper session.

No vices in the stable, field, or when ridden

Stands beautifully for grooming, bathing, farrier, dentist, and vet

Hacks alone or in company, front, middle, or back of ride

Snaffle-mouthed, no gadgets required

He lives happily in a mixed herd, is stabled during the day and turned out at night, and is equally content living out or being stabled full time. Charlie is not clingy and is fine being left on his own.

He is currently shod in front but would be equally happy barefoot or shod all round.

Charlie is extremely low maintenance — he doesn’t need daily riding, and can be left for weeks or months before being brought back into work with no fuss.

He has never been lame, never suffered laminitis, sweet itch, or sarcoids, and has no lumps or bumps.

He passes his annual Riding School Licence Inspection (equivalent to a 2-stage vetting).

Charlie has been there and done it, despite him being relatively young, he has conquered a lot, hacking, schooling, jumping, fun rides, beach rides, cross country, and hunting — always giving his rider total confidence.

This is a heartbreaking sale of a very special horse. We regularly change our stock to give our fantastic horses the chance to experience one-to-one private homes again. Charlie truly is one in a million and will make someone an incredible partner.

A lovely horse that would easily school on for jumping or Dressage as he has lovely paces and a really comfortable canter.

Dev is an absolute gentleman to ride out and will happily go alone or with others, good with even the heaviest of road or farm traffic.

Polite and well mannered to ride in big open spaces and he is also a good hunter. A well mannered horse that doesn’t get hot- headed or strong and is sensible and calm about his jumping - the racing video on You Tube - Young Dev racing at Navan - shows what a gentleman he is!

Kind natured and easy to do in the stable, good to catch, lead in, kind to groom and is good to load/ clip and super with the farrier.

Deserves a loving home where he can enjoy his new career!

Coco has been in the same home for the past 3 years and taken young girl from low level to happily jumping round 90cm/1m.
she has low mileage for her age and hasn't been hammered.

Coco would happily do anything asked of her she hacks out alone or in company, recently XC schooled and was brave and bold over everything asked of her.
she's done lots of unaffiliated shows, behaves brilliantly and gives you a good confident ride in the ring.

Coco is well schooled on the flat would do a good dressage test and moves well enough to do working hunters.

Would excel as mother daughter share/Pony club home or someone that would like to do a bit of everything.

15h 13yo chestnut mare. Green for age but ideal project for alrounder/RC/grassroots eventing/hunt etc.

Ember is a very capable and talented little mare, but is green for her age due to being a broodmare for most of her life. Shes unregistered but I would put a guess on her being a Welsh x tb/wb type.

She is a typical mare and will have a squeal and a tart around. She likes to live in the herd with company, she gets anxious if left alone. Shes on sales livery with me due to a couple of quirks that her current owner doesn’t enjoy. She is by NO MEANS a dangerous mare! But she will have a spin if she sees something she doesn’t like and is allowed to get away with it. She doesn’t do this with me anymore as she’s learnt it doesn’t work.

Her arena work is basic but pleasing. And she’s popping 70/80cm with ease but at the moment she lacks confidence with bigger fences. She has all the ability she just lacks self belief! Ember needs an understanding person who will show her the ropes with firm patience. Shes a really fun ride and she’s not shown any signs of bucking rearing bolting etc.

She will simply spin round if she’s decided she doesn’t want to go past something. Shes done a lot of fun hacking, hound exercise (will hunt in a few weeks with me) xc schooling, sj schooling, fun rides, etc and is now ready to find her forever home where she can do a bit more.

She would suit a home where she can have a basic routine and where she will be ridden at least weekly to keep her brain occupied.

Dora is the sweetest girl who has been lovely to work with, she’s now ready to find the best home.

She would suit a home wanting to do riding club/fun rides/lessons/ hacking/ beach rides etc. Dora has evented previously however she isn’t suited to a competition home as she doesn’t like the pressure of competing, however she LOVES all the other fun stuff

She is very polite and easy on the ground. Not mareish in the slightest, loves a cuddle and a fuss. Great to shoe, stable, catch, load and will happily stand tied to the lorry on her own, fine having other horses taken away from her etc

We do lots of hacking alone and in company, personally I don’t have issues hacking her alone but with a less experienced rider she can be reluctant to leave the yard when on her own.

Dora is great in traffic and happily canters across big open fields with other horses (and on her own!) and she never gets strong or silly. She is always snaffle mouthed, I have even jumped her bridle less!!

She wouldn’t suit a novice rider/owner HOWEVER I do think she would suit a mother/daughter share if one was experienced as I would happily put a novice on her to follow me out on a hack, or have some fun in the arena  she’s pretty unflappable!! Just needs the proper work in between.

Please don’t enquire about her if you want a competition horse, she doesn’t want that kind of home.
