Im a confident rider with many many years of experience with different breed of horses. However, as I am nearing 40, i am now looking for my last horse of a life time, so looking for a nice allrounder to have fun and bring me back home safe and in one piece.

I own a small holding which consists of stables, arena and 10 acres of land.

Currently have 6 horses at home which consist of a pony for my daughter, 2 retired that have been with me for years and 3 youngsters I bred myself.

Things I am looking for in my next horse - they must be easy to do in all ways, I often will go to shows by myself or with my young daughter.

Confidence giver and forgiving in the jumping department, someone to help me out when I get it wrong - nice steady approach when jumping, don’t want something that locks on a shoots forward.

Hack out alone and in company.

Would like to start doing more dressage, so something that knows the basics.

I do enjoy the odd fun ride with a friend so would be nice if I can do this without the horse jogging the entire way or running off when another horse comes past. (Had many of these type of horses when I was younger, my body was more able back then)

No bucking, rearing - I understand it is impossible to ask for a bomb proof horse but something not too spooky.

I am actively looking and have a healthy budget for the right horse.

Height - 15.2hh to 16.3hh

Age - 7 years to 11years may go slightly older depending on how old. But don’t want to go any younger as I do what the horse to have experience.

Ideally looking to buy from a private home, someone who has had their horse for a while and knows a lot of history.

Amazon is looking for a new jockey due to her current owner hanging up his hunting boots. She has trail hunted regularly with North Shropshires and Albrighton. She has also done hound exercise with The Cheshire’s.

Amazon will cross any country-hedges, gates, post and rail, ditches, walls etc.

Hacks anywhere and everywhere alone and in company and is not bothered about traffic. She is great in open spaces etc. Rides in a snaffle at home and hunts in running gag.

Has done numerous fun rides / hunt rides. Never done anything in the school before coming to ourselves, so the school is all new to her.

She is really showing willingness and has potential however we are definitely not saying she’s ready to go compete in a dressage competition tomorrow but with time she definitely has the ability to do very well. She loves her work and the more she has the happier she is!

Amazon does have a couple of quirks (on the ground) which are no big issues just has her certain way of getting on and catching etc.

Stick to what she knows and she’s happy. Obviously if you’re interested I will explain in more detail. For this reason she won’t be going to a novice or nervous person. Prefers a quiet confident rider and wouldn’t appreciate being bullied, a bit like myself really.

A very handsome schoolmaster who is looking for a new home as has fallen out of love with pointing. May suit under rules or can go off and do ror. Fantastic jumper and has taken a novice round the last 2 seasons pointing!

Very easy to train goes on his own or in company. Ridden in a snaffle. Can be a bit spooky on his own nothing nasty just typical Tb. A 70yr old rides him regularly! Has been to the moors hacking and seen coloured poles. Will continue to progress with him.

Loads/ travels well and will stand in the box quiet. Great in heavy traffic. Easy to do in all ways is just a bit ticklish to clip. He deserves the best of home has led all my youngsters out and i rely on him an awful lot.

With a mix of joy for the memories, but sadness for what must be, I'm advertising my heart horse, Scarlets Condor (Charlie), for sale.

For four wonderful years, we've journeyed through eventing up to BE100 and enjoyed competitive showjumping at 1.10m, including participation in NSEA competitions. Some of our standout moments were becoming school NSEA national champions and making our way to 10th place at one of our first BE events together at Tweseldown—the are a testament to our partnership.

As I prepare to start university in September, I'm faced with the reality that I won't have the necessary time to dedicate to Charlie, which he so rightly deserves. It's important to note that Charlie had to retire from eventing and competing in 2022 due to a navicular injury. Following a period of rest and dedicated treatment, he's now suited for leisurely hacking and enjoying softer ground. While he adores jumping and can still partake occasionally, it's crucial that it's not too frequent and always mindful of the ground conditions to ensure his comfort and well-being.

More than any price, the perfect home is my utmost concern for Charlie. He genuinely is a one in a million horse, which I know is something that a lot of people say but I really mean it!! He needs a compassionate and attentive owner who understands his needs and listens to his body. When he first came to me, Charlie was quite head-shy, but through gentle and consistent work, he's blossomed into a much happier and more confident horse. He's an absolute dream on the ground, thrives on affection, and in all our time together, he's never once put a foot wrong.

Finding a loving, understanding home is paramount for this special horse.
