Irish Dark Brown gelding 9 years 15.1hh.

We bought Striker to go into a riding school of which we didn’t go ahead with. Since being with us he has built the confidence of several riders after they lost it all with other rather sharp horses.

Striker is an honest and kind horse and he would be great as a 2nd horse particularly for a rider looking to do a bit of everything. He will take you from poles on the ground to jumping round courses, or if you prefer to move into X-Country without the fear of a horse taking off and being too strong- he’s great for that too.

He has been to X-Country, fun rides and clinics. He enjoys hacking in open spaces across farmland. He is bomb proof in traffic too. Hacked at least once a week on roads. He is competing at home round 70/80cm and will easily jump 90cm. He will also drop down to trotting happily over cross poles.

Striker is a standard bred but has a good trot and canter. His transitions have improved a lot. He is not a kick a long but is sane and you will learn to ride very well with him and he is never sharp or silly.

He will jump anything at X-Country whether its brushes, barrels- anything! Fillers and water trays do not phase him and he is not a spooky horse. He is great through water and over ditches. He will go in an outline in all three paces. He can perform a nice dressage test.

He isn't the most confident pony in the stable and can be shy until he gets to know you. He loves a fuss.

Super easy to load, travel, bath, groom and clip, easy for dental and vet. We hold him for the farrier or give him a haynet as he is a fidget.

Turned out individually, he enjoys being out but easily lives in too.

Striker makes people feel very comfortable when hacking across open farmland or on the road. He babysits the young sharp horses too. It’s not easy to find confidence building horses and we will be honestly sad to see him go. Please feel free to call me to discuss. Emy has been with us for schooling for a couple of months now and in that time she has come on a lot. She has 3 good paces, and is working nicely on the flat. She is very honest jumping, and hasn’t been phased by any jumps we’ve faced her at.

She has been to some arena hires and recently went to her first local combined training competition and xc schooling, where she proved sensible and very honest.

Emy is green for her age, but very willing to please under saddle.

She is good to load and shoe (only has fronts on currently) we haven’t clipped her but we would expect her to be ok.

Emy is a very sweet mare, she loves being around people and does get a little bit stressy when left alone.

She is ridden in a snaffle. She hacks out nicely, happy in front or behind, and has been very good with all of the traffic we have seen with her (mainly large farm machinery)

Beautiful, intelligent mare who has a trainable attitude and a bright future ahead. 3 correct and active paces. Scoring and placing well at Prelim level, including a win with 68% last weekend, gaining herself some 7.5s and an 8. Schooling at novice and starting to introduce some Elementary movements at home.

Green but honest jump. Attended group clinics, arena hires and unaffiliated shows picking up double clears and placings at 60cm. Loves her pole work.

XC & arena event schooled. Unphased with ditches, skinnies, steps, water etc

Hacks alone/company. Foot perfect when out on fun rides/hound exercises. Absolutely loves being out and about. Nothing phases her on the road - HGVs, Camper vans, cyclist, farm machinery etc. Stands to open gates.

Snaffled mouth. Never strong or silly. Good to bath, shoe,catch,load,travel,teeth. Clipped all year round. Good with body/face and have previously done legs without sedation but she doesn’t stand still so I’ve started sedating for a quicker and better finish.

Turns out with mares or geldings. Stabled next to stallion, not at all mareish with him.

Majority of the time she’s easy to handle however she has her moments when she knows her strength on the ground and can be grumpy/sensitive to touch at times. Respects the bit so I use a bridle on days I know she might be strong i.e when leading to field after being kept in due to bad weather. I handle her by myself at home and away at shows without any issues.

This mare is worth her weight in gold for safeness under saddle. She’s always been a horse I can trust completely. I’ve ridden her during windy rainy storms, fireworks, construction works, misbehaving horses and she doesn’t bat an eyelid. Away from home she’s relaxed and just gets on with her job. Although her laid back nature under saddle suits a novice rider, to get the best out of her I am looking for an experienced home that will continue her education and give her a varied life with plenty hacking and clinics.

Would love to see her out at Pet Plan festivals this summer and progress up the BD levels!

Huge is relatively compact for his height but has a good 10 inches of bone, a real old fashioned type with a wonderful temperament. Since being with us he has hacked, schooled, done fun rides and hunted both in the field and field mastering.

Hunted with several packs and good with hounds. He’s light in the hand, balanced, and forward-thinking. He would definitely affiliate dressage and be a contender for the associated championships or be a valued team quest member.

Despite having a shiver behind, he has hunted unshod this season without any issues. Huge is great with people of all ages, including teenagers and older riders, though he’s not a complete novice ride due to the occasional green moment.

He’s good to catch, clip, and load, and would thrive in a loving, committed home.

Toby is a lovely natured horse that is good to do in all ways and a pleasure to have on the yard. He has been a man’s first horse for the past 2 years and has done a bit of everything. Including pleasure rides, eventing, dressage, SJ.

He works really well on the flat and has produced some lovely tests. He’s always snaffle mouthed, never gets strong. 

He can happily be ridden on the buckle end and is more woah than go, but will step up and wake up when you ask him to.

Toby is honest into a fence and has been competing around 70/80 getting numerous double clears and placings, not phased by fillers.

He hacks alone or in company and good with traffic, he’s good in open spaces. He can get a bit more excited in a big group but still snaffle mouthed

This mare is such fun to ride. She would love a home hacking, fun rides, team chasing. Hunter trials and would also be great at endurance.

Owned since 6 Months old. She evented up to Novice and did loads of pre novice. However this mare is not a competition horse she hates the school, she hates the discipline of showjumping, she is useless in tight collecting rings blows her top. Her true love in life is hounds and fun! Since starting hunting as a 4 year old she has made it perfectly clear that eventing is rubbish and she only likes the XC part. She has done lots of intermediate team chasing and also lead horse intermediate happy in front or behind. She is incredible ride XC. Jumped gates, hedges and everything out hunting, sheep rails etc etc.

She is not great in heavy traffic so can't say she is completely traffic proof however when not bored and has a job she is fine with traffic.

She is fit and up to date with everything. She will lead two ponies on exercise either side and train hound puppies to come out riding.

She is good to load, catch, clip, good in the stable loves a cuddle.

Completely wasted with me as I have children and ponies and work and no time for her as she would like and deserve. She needs a confident rider as she is a very busy mare and has a quirk its Cold backed! You have to girth up slowly and never girth her up tied up. She just needs understanding that you don't just get on and pull that girth up! Half way up the road is fine but not the moment you get on as you will be hopping around everywhere.

Would really like a fun home for her so she can do what she does best and that is not a field ornament!

Had two lovely foals but can't breed again as her last foal she had in 2016 was huge and she got peritonitis and survived against all odds so definitely no breeders.

Won't be sold to the wrong home, she is fit and sound ready to have fun. Ideally 10 Stone and under only because she has always known lighter riders.

Mare has a huge engine she really can go is very fast and never had any wind problems always been easy to get fit.

Registered AES Studbook and is a Warmblood X Arab.
