I was considering breeding from my lovely mare again this year but I have decided to cut my numbers and focus on the ones we are riding.

She has been a really fantastic broodmare and had no problems foaling, did it all unaided in the field each time. She is a very attractive mare with good conformation, and an amazing big trot. She has a lovely temperament and is very friendly, affectionate, and easy to have around and to handle, she is slightly nervous, and she does crib a little, generally speaking at feedtime. She is not confident loading therefore I have never travelled her. Therefore whoever comes for her will have to be prepared to have her sedated and bring assistance to load her, a short low ramp would be ideal.

She has previously been ridden, at four years old we broke her to ride, had established paces under saddle, and hacked on lanes and fields. I feel that she never really took to it due to the fact that she turned out to have gastric ulcers that were then treated. I therefore used her as a broodmare instead. I ride her first foal and he can be seen along with her current 2y/o and grandson.

A good home where she'll be loved and looked after is of utmost importance. Genuine reason for sale.
