We bought Lennie as a mother/daughter share 2 years ago. We chose him because of his fantastic temperament and his love of jumping, and he has exceeded our expectations in these and all other ways.

Lennie was bred to jump - his sire is eventing at 3* and other progeny of his grand-sire have show-jumped at 1.70m at the World Equestrian Games and evented at 5*.

He was started fairly late as a 5 year old and has been brought on by us slowly and carefully. Our plan was for him to be hacked by myself during term time and for my daughter to school and compete him in the long university holidays. However, over the last 12 months or so, my daughter has been abroad more often, and for longer, than we expected when we bought him.

This slow and steady start has been good for Lennie in many ways, allowing him time to mature physically and mentally without ever being pushed too hard, over-jumped or spoilt. He has been schooled by an experienced friend in my daughter's absence - all the basics are in place and he is showing a great natural jumping ability. He makes a great shape over a fence and is very clever with his legs. He doesn't want to touch a pole. He is currently SJ schooling up to 1.10m.

We have taken him to unaffiliated dressage and show jumping competitions, arena hire, cross country schooling and a hunter trial. He isn't spooked by fillers, jumped a water tray the first time of asking and is bold cross country including steps, ditches and water etc. He has taken on all new challenges easily, loves his work and never appears grumpy. He is always first to greet you at the gate, loves attention and visibly enjoys praise.

He is great to hack and has been taken out by riders of various ages, heights and abilities. He is happy ambling about with me but will step up his game when ridden by a more experienced and confident rider. He is good to hack alone or in company, in traffic, on open moorland, meeting other horses out hacking, sheep, cows, dogs etc. He hasn't napped, spun, bolted, bucked, reared or refused a fence but wouldn't be suitable solely for a novice rider as he has been bred to compete.

He is good to load and travel, to clip and with the farrier and vet.

He is now ready to go out and do a lot more than my daughter's commitments allow and, to use a well worn phrase, he is completely wasted just being hacked around by me when he has such fantastic talent, love of the sport and potential to succeed. Although this is a very sad sale, we look forward to seeing Lennie progressing in his career - whether as an eventer, a show jumper or a hunter.

He has had several small sarcoids which have received meticulous veterinary treatment as soon as possible after they were found. They were not on his face or in the saddle/girth area.

It is sadly time for Willy the one eyed wonder horse to find a new home (because I’m poor and have bills to pay).

This horse has had a great start and needs a competent amateur (not a novice as he is a 6 year old sports horse and common sense dictates that’s a stupid idea) to look after him and enjoy him henceforth.

Things to know about Willy… he is massive (naturally), he is blind (in his left eye)…he will not pass a vetting (because he is blind, so bring you trainer, a good eye and a second opinion and I know I’ll be selling to the right sort of folk)… he has a hilarious name. That’s pretty much it.

I would say home is more important than price, but I want your money.

That said, I know what I’m selling and would be open to offers.

Superb quality mare with some excellent breeding, properly produced and showjumped upto 1.15 in her youth where she then went on to produce some excellent foals for 5 years (only due to not wanting to jump higher, however due to her lovely temperament her owner didn't want to sell her).

Since purchasing Jet in october she has been an absolute dream to do anything on the ground with always being polite and patient. She was super easy to get back into work and showed her quality straight away. However due to work commitments i was not able to give her the time she needed and she lost her fitness.

Over the last week she has been led alongside another horse out hacking where she was also impeccably behaved. She can nap when hacking alone but will go. However in company she's super and will go first or last, quite happy to plod along at the back.

She is not fit or strong enough so is sold from the feild, viewings are welcome.

Very sad sale of much loved 10 year old homebred. IE Mr McGregor has been slowly produced up the levels whilst having numerous wins along the way.

He is very established at BE Novice, including two wins and two 2nd places. We feel he would make a very good & competitive schoolmaster showing someone the ropes.

He is well put together with excellent conformation and despite his bigger frame, he is quick and light on his feet. Polite and established both on the flat and jumping, whilst proving on multiple occasions he is more than quick enough across the country and regularly produces tests in the 20's.

He had a chip removed from his off fore coffin joint last October on vets recommendation. Has since been correctly rehabbed and is back to full fitness . Full set of x-rays pre and post op are available.

Nancy is a 3yo warmblood mare out of Nico x Benvenuto. She is the sweetest horse with such a kind eye and amazing temperament. She is bold without being pushy and is always up for a fuss. She is also showing so much natural talent and power with 3 very loose paces.
