He is by the stallion Flashpoint (Ampere/Donnerhall) out of an Irish sports mare.

Boasting an impressive technique to a fence, and proving bold and careful with a big open stride and great hind leg. Showing scope to burn and extremely genuine to a fence.

A sensible attitude and trainable brain with a powerful engine.

He has done a limited number of unaffiliated shows with his owner and since being with us has been to a few unaffiliated dressage competitions, gaining marks and experience. We have also taken him to gridwork clinics, and schooled around XC fences at pontispool. Though he is sensible he showed that he is lacking in experience and can be green at times.

He has attended a number of XC course hires locally and is extremely bold taking on the fences.

He would not suit a novice, nor nervous rider and so needs an experienced home as he is still very green and requires consistent work.

Perfect brood mare, very easy to breed from. Went in foal the first day with Stallion & foaled by herself with no problems at all.

Genuine Sale due to giving up, due to my health problems. Was sent to a yard to get her riding in 2022 - see video in indoor school. Then later was ridden out alone by a fairly novice, but confident, teenage girl 18months ago. But I was painfully walking behind on my crutches to get the video, hence mare only walking is shown! Had the pleasure of owning this beautiful boy for 7 years and had the best time.

Foot perfect on the ground, impeccable manners, fine to shoe, clip, load, dentist & vets etc never had any issues.

Great to hack alone or in company.

Forward ride - not for beginners.

Lovely movements when ridden, quick learner and when competed in shows and dressage always been placed and stood out.

Loves to jump especially cross country, will jump anything put in front of him, I haven’t jumped for a few years so he would need a confident jumper to get him back into the routine.

I bought Bluey from his breeder at weaning hoping he would be my next riding horse to bring on behind my current hunter/ team chaser.

But even though he still has some maturing to do, Blue is not going to finish as big as I had hoped, so he ls looking for a new home with a smaller rider. Blue is totally gorgeous to look at, just the best colour, and no white socks so always looks clean! He truly is an eye catcher. 

He has grown up on our farm on Exmoor being fed bales with tractors, having the barns mucked out with skid steers, and the sheep in his field checked with quads, so he is totally used to all sorts of machinery, noise, other animals, kids, dogs etc. He has been moved from summer to winter grazing in both trailer & lorry and has never minded being transported. 

He is a kind and willing character, a little slow to mature, but I would prefer that to having them overdone and putting stress on their joints. He's just a fabulous blank canvas really. 

In the school Bluey has shown to have a huge natural jump (we have only loose schooled him once in his life, for these pictures) and he has lovely movement. He could well go on to event or potentially even do pure dressage. 

We have lightly backed him, and are hacking him occasionally around the lanes. He has not yet been asked to do circles or jump under saddle, but he is willing and sweet natured and will soon come to being a lovely riding horse given more time and training. 

He has never bucked or reared throughout the backing process, and all his work has been really positive, so we feel he is at a great place for a competent rider to take over and start training him properly.

We are on Exmoor on the Devon / Somerset borders but we can deliver anywhere in UK.

Handsome, gentle kind lad with a lovely nature.

He is hacking out nicely and willing to go out alone although we don't see big traffic here just the odd tractor and cars.

He is extremely clever and has a good brain easy to train attitude. He has his basic flatwork established and is now learning some lateral work.

Broken late he is catching up quickly, he is jumping around a small set of fences and should be ready for a british novice in the next few weeks. He has plenty of scope and is proving to be really careful.

He will be ready this season to go out and learn the ropes with next season being a real grass roots contender.

We will be going xc schooling with him any day now but he is great in open spaces and across fields. Snaffle mouth only.

He has'nt had the best start but nothing that will affect his future - im happy to discuss on the phone.

He is an absolutely lovely horse that is willing and desperate to please you.
