Our daughter is 11 years old and has been riding for the past six years mostly at a local equestrian centre and pony camps / hacking .

We are now looking to buy a horse or pony that will help her progress and continue to develop her riding.

She particularly enjoys jumping and hacking, so we are seeking a safe, experienced all-rounder that can build her confidence in these areas.

We live in Bath , so would have to be localish enough to travel to view.

Our ideal horse would be:

-Between 14.2hh and 15hh
-Aged 7–11 years
A genuine schoolmaster
-Sane, sensible, and confidence-giving
-Happy jumping and hacking out
-Robust and easy to manage
-Able to live out happily with other horses
-Friendly in nature and enjoys being groomed

In terms of breeding, a Connemara cross or cob cross would be preferred, although we would be open to other suitable types.

We are looking for a family horse, 15 hands plus primarily for our three children to ride as eldest has out grown our pony. Would also like it to carry dad on gentle hacks with pony and younger children so a weight carrier is ideal. Our search criteria is;

Ideally a gelding
No preference on colour
Open to lots of breeds including cobs, Connie, Welsh, Dartmoor, Irish draught
No thoroughbreds or sport horses
Confidence giver
Safe all rounder
Good stable manners
For pony club/riding club activities
Able to do low level jumping
Good out hacking
No lumps, bumps or vices
Good to load, shoe and clip
Age 8-14 but if it ticks all of the boxes will consider younger

Temperament very important, calm horse to be groomed and loved. Horse will share a field with our cob pony. Live out 24,7 through summer and stabled at night in the winter.

A loving home and empty stable awaits.

Will want to view and vet.

Based in Northamptonshire but will travel for the right horse.

Looking for something that’s either been there and done that or a horse who’s been out and about on low mileage. A varied life style awaits although I’m not looking to compete or jump tracks about 80cm

Looking for a mother's hunter type horse of the genuine, safe, mannerly, experienced kind! Open to buy or Loan. MUST have previously hunted not just seen hounds please!

Doesn't need to be a George Clooney in appearance! Happy to consider an older horse looking to step down from the bigger hunting days who would settle into smaller jump country.

No need for world beaters or puissance horses as we hunt the more trot & pop, trappy country not large grass fields with hedges but it must still be happy to go off alone and jump. MUST be good with hounds around it's legs and go off alone leaving the field happily when trail hunting!

Apart from being 15.2 hh and above (may consider a little smaller if well built) with a good shoulder in front, there is no other specific requirements - just a safe and experienced horse that won't erupt into outer space if left unridden for a week.

We’re searching for a quality mare with a kind, people-loving temperament above all else. She must be a true team player, happy living within a herd of mares, and enjoy attention and handling — we adore mares that genuinely want to be involved with people.

Our ideal mare would:
Be 16hh+
Have a good amount of bone and substance
Have recorded breeding (dressage lines preferred, but we are very open-minded)
Possess an exceptional temperament and trainable attitude
Colour preferences:

• Palomino
• Buckskin
• Cremello
• Homozygous tobiano

…but we would also be delighted with a quality mare carrying beautiful white markings.

We are very open to suggestions for the right mare — temperament and quality are the priority.
