Henry is a 4yo Welsh D gelding standing at approximately 14.2hh

Henry was backed as a 3yo and then turned away. He was brought back into work this summer and has since been hacking and done some light schooling proving to be very intelligent and willing to learn.

He has popped a few small fences and has taken it all in his stride, proving bold and brave.

Henry is ready to find a kind, experienced home who can continue to show him the world. He is a super kind, loving type who loves a fuss.

So far Henry has been great to do everything with, however due to him still being green and his age, he is not suitable for a novice home.

Exceptional ground manners

Can live out 24/7, but equally happy and hugely polite in a stable - even when his other stable mate goes off out without him

Easy to catch, good for the farrier, good for the vet, good for the dentist, easy to worm and has been fully clipped without issue, although he is a bit impatient when his legs are clipped

Will load perfectly onto either a small narrow trailer or large horsebox

Particularly enjoys a groom and a fuss and stands beautifully when tied up - fell asleep having his mane pulled recently

Barefoot; trims required every 7 weeks or so

Currently living with a mare, has also lived with a gelding and in a mixed herd without issue

Passed a stage 2 vetting when I bought him in 2022 and I've had no issues with him health wise/soundness since. No laminitis but we do manage his grazing

Up to date with vaccinations; next due mid December 2025, teeth rasped May 2025 and feet trimmed 13th August

Has so far been unphased in all sorts of traffic - he is used to large farm vehicles and construction workers' vehicles

Low maintenance; lives pretty much on fresh air

LOVES, his hacking (alone or in company) and is very happy to squeeze through small gaps, cross little bridges, up and down banks, pops over logs, will splash through water and will go for hours without being silly once you turn for home. With this in mind, he may end up being a great little hunting pony.

Blackie is an honest, fun, genuine pony with a big heart and a lot of character. He will make a small lightweight adult or competent child jockey very happy. He has proven to be safe and reliable when used as a lead rein pony but would benefit from a confident rider off the lead rein due to his young (ish) age and that he is still learning in the school. He has attended various clinics and some pony club events where he has behaved brilliantly at the smaller, quieter events but has found the music, noise and other horses racing by harder to deal with at larger events so this will need to be worked on. He has decided he quite likes jumping and has also competed (with a small adult rider) at a couple of local unaffiliated SJ competitions, with the last outing resulting with a 2nd place.

I will only sell to a 5* home for him where he has company, endless hacks to enjoy and for somebody experienced to get the best out of him; he is a quick learner and whilst I already think he is absolutely brilliant, there is much more potential to unlock for somebody who has time and love to give him.

He will come with all his tack, which includes a saddle bought brand new for him (Wintec) and some rugs, although unless the weather is absolutely brutal, he can manage without.

Larry is a 7-year-old traditional cob gelding, standing around 14.1hh with lots of feather. He absolutely loves hacking and is safe, sensible and genuine in every way out and about. He has been regularly hacked solo by a nervous rider through fields, roads, open spaces and even alongside a motorway — and behaves perfectly in all situations. He is unfazed by heavy traffic, farm machinery, diggers, dogs and open spaces. Larry is a snaffle mouthed, forward and fun ride when hacking — equally happy on the buckle or enjoying a canter through the fields. He doesn’t speed up on the way home or nap and has given his nervous jockey heaps of fun and confidence over the last three years. He hacks and travels well alone or in company and arrives at new places calm and ready to go — you can just tack up and enjoy your ride. Perfect for nervous, young or elderly riders wanting something safe and sane to enjoy, and ideally suited to a home focused on hacking, fun rides and pleasure riding.

On the ground, Larry is super easy in every way. He has the most chilled, kind nature, is great to lead and handle, and is regularly tied up to be groomed by my 3-year-old. He loads well on both a trailer and box, is barefoot, excellent with the farrier, dentist and vet, fully up to date with vaccinations, teeth and worming, has no stable vices and is open to vetting.

I bought Larry as an unfit 4-year-old, hoping he would grow and enjoy flatwork classes. While he has filled out beautifully, he didn’t grow upwards, and over the years it has become clear that schooling just isn’t his bag. We have brought him on carefully and ruled out any underlying issues — it’s simply not something he enjoys. If this wasn’t the case he wouldn’t be for sale as he is perfect for me in every other way and easily the most straight forward horse I’ve known.

He’s perfect to do in all ways, no lumps, bumps or vices.

We have used him this year to nanny our youngsters, he’s bombproof in the heaviest of traffic, you could ride him up the M62 on washing line reins alone or in company.
He’s a sensible steady ride however will go up the gears when asked, he has an amazing extension. He will pop a jump solid or coloured but he isn’t going to be your next Olympic event horse.

Started his showing career been highest placed Traditional CHAPs youngstock at the Great Yorkshire Show as a 3 year old (2023), over all 5th out of approximately 40. He then went on to gain all his CHAPs youngstock evaluations as a 3 year old. Backed and ridden away at 4 lightly hacking, before heading out as a ridden this year in the show ring. In his first season he’s qualified for TOYs, took overall Quest Championship at hambleton district show, numerous other wins and championships to his name, never out of the top 3 all season. 3rd in a recent RIHS ridden and took a win in the inhand section

Stood very respectably placed in a huge mixed TGCA class at the Great Yorkshire show this year, unfazed by the go around with 30 others.

You’ll also have to be willing to take millions of photos as this lad likes to get the perfect angel.

Travels in wagon or a trailer alone/in company and happy to be left alone in the box.

Snaffle mouth, but will happily show in a Pelham bridle, does prefer a small ported bit

Fully up to date with teeth, farrier, vaccinations, physio etc. good to clip bath & shoe. Do not expect him to walk through a muddy puddle, however he’d be more than happy to role in it. He is a pampered pony and does prefer a stable in winter and a rug.

He is a typical pony and if you are of a nervous nature he will likely enjoy terrorising you.

He has covered mares as a youngster but due to only liking the pretty young ladies it wasn’t really his forte hence gelded. He happily turns out alone/ in a mixed herd with mares and geldings.

I bought Frank aka Stevie as a first ridden pony for my daughter. Unfortunately, it turns out he was a working stallion until April 2025 and was broken shortly after his castration. As such, he still shows stallion-like tendencies and is too much for my daughter.

He needs a confident, experienced home living in the company of other horses.

He has been shown in hand and is working well under saddle. He has 3 good paces, hacks alone or in company and will stand in the stable without issue.

He needs a small adult or teenager to continue his education.

Fabulous, easy to handle youngster with huge potential in the show ring or riding club. Same home since a foal, living in a mixed herd.

Backed and ridden away last year as a 4yr old. Walk, trot, canter in the arena and hacking. Turned away with the intention of being brought back into work as a 5yr old.

The bargain price reflects the fact that I haven't done anything with him this year due to personal circumstances.

For long term loan with view to buy for right person, Gee Gee, 13.3hh coloured cob mare. Gee Gee will excel in the right hands and has potential in the show ring but she needs some work. She absolutely loves hacking out buts very green in the school.

Gee would suit a small adult or teenager as she does need someone who is confident on the ground with her. She's a mare and sometimes she likes to let you know it! She's will load in a trailer but can take some persuasion, when she's doing it all the time she's find. She lives happily with mares or geldings as part of a small herd. Gee Gee loves fuss and attention and will stand for ages and let you brush and bath her. She does need sedation for clipping.

She has been to a variety of local shows and competed in show jumping, xc and showing. She will happily jump a course up to 60/70cms and has jumped 90cm single fences. This is a very difficult decision but my daughter has overgrown what she is able to do and although I do ride her (I am 5ft 8in and 12 st and she easily carries me), I cannot as much as she needs with her.
