Frankie is a wonderful child’s pony. He has three lovely steady paces perfect to learn ups and downs but doesn’t need kicking to keep him going.

He has the most gorgeous rocking horse canter that you can jog along beside on the lead rein. He will pop over a jump beautifully, never over jumps.

In his previous home he did many different lead rein activities including dressage, jumping, cross country, shows, beach rides and pony club.

He goes through water, is bombproof in traffic and hacks out alone. He will stand for hours for round the world, be dressed up, ridden bareback from the field and to be be groomed.

Frankie has been used as a first ridden previously but has picked up some bad habits and therefore the reason we feel he is best suited to a lead rein home (please note: he is being sold as a lead rein pony and will not be sold as off lead / first ridden).

12.2 petite mare rising 9. We have had 4 amazing years with this pony and she has taken my daughter from being a nervous 7 year old jumping x poles to jumping 90. She has done pony club, games, SJ and Xc schooling which she loves.

She has the sweetest temperament, has always been solely handled by my daughter, caught by her, loaded by her, tacked up etc. she’s a very happy little pony who loves her people and her work. She is happy living out in summer but loves her stable in winter. She has no vices. Primarily ridden in a snaffle although when recently competed by tiny 6 year old we did put her in a little Pelham more for his mum’s sanity! But he has very light hands and easily won both their classes.

The home we want for her is with a little gutsy child who is ready for their first competition pony. She is very safe well schooled responsive ride who easily goes for little legs. She has a soft mouth so needs a child with an established seat who won’t use their reins to grab and balance. She must have a stable in winter.

She is a very capable pony and we would like a long term home for her where she can step back down for a smaller child rather than one she will be outgrown quickly in.

We got Sharaya when my son was 5 and he was a complete beginner, Sharaya has taken him from a bobbly lead rein to being able to come off the lead rein. We did have Honey Crawford to school her at this point to get her more establish with the canter as she just did a fast trot with my son.

From then each year they both moved forward adding more things.

He then started doing competitions and has been very successful, and also doing pony club.

The bond between them have grown so much over the years and now he is jumping courses of 70’s and has been racing at haydock park race track.

He has so much confidence now and that is all down to his journey with Sharaya, but now that journey is coming to the end as she has been sadly out grown and now time for him to move onto his next pony which he says he just wants a bigger Sharaya.

I don’t believe any pony is perfect but I couldn’t have asked of anything more from her over these years, she only deserves the very best.

We have had Sharaya for 5 years now and if I could stretch her or had younger children she wouldn’t be going anywhere.

We have done everything and been everywhere with her and my son.

Good to clip but she doesn’t like it around her ears. She can be fresh after a clip if she gets cold (just more forward) but if you ride her with an exercise sheet on she is fine.

She walks back and too from the field like dream.
She hasn’t been on the roads a lot as we are straight on bridle paths where we are.
Never rode by an adult only children.

Blackberry (Berry) is a beautiful, sweet natured mare who has been part of our family for two and a half years. She has been there and done it all but at nearly 17 she is looking for a quieter life.

She absolutely loves to hack but no longer enjoys schooling so we are looking for a home where she can hack and do fun rides. She is wonderful to hack and is great in any traffic, around farm machinery or dogs. Berry prefers company when she hacks but she will hack alone with a capable rider.

Berry is fit, up to date with vaccinations, teeth and shoeing and is ready to go out and have fun this Spring/Summer. She has no lumps, bumps or health issues and has never been lame. We're only selling as our daughter is no longer riding.

She isn't a beginners pony as she takes confidence from her rider, she would suit someone who wants a fun pony to hack and do fun rides with some jumps which she loves.

We took her to pony club camp after having her just 2 weeks and my daughter won the mini ODE on her.

Gem would be a first ridden for a confident child or make a lovely 1.5/ 2nd pony for a rider wanting to do more. She would also suit a lead rein home.

She is safe to hack & sensible in open spaces. Gem prefers company, making her ideally suited to a home with other ponies or a yard where children ride together.

Gem is not strong, goes nicely off little legs and is more “whoa” than “go.” She enjoys jumping and polework and will happily canter round courses of 50–65cm. In her last home she qualified for Trailblazers. She has also done low-level mounted games and cross-country courses, including water.

Pete is a lovely quiet pony who has sadly been outgrown by my 10 year old daughter.

Pete has been turned away for the winter and is now in gradual light work (hacking).

We have owned him for around 18 months and he has never done anything silly and even now after not being ridden for a few months has stayed the same laid back pony as before. He has given my daughter so much confidence to now go onto a bigger and more forward pony.

Last year with Pete we done lots of hacking, local showing and pony club rallies. He’s not a pony that needs to be ridden every day and never sharp or fizzy.

He is good for vet, farrier and is up to date with worm treatment, vaccinations and farrier (barefoot).

Piper is a handsome Connemara gelding (no breeding recorded) 14hh rising 11 yrs (date of birth 2015). 3 lovely paces and a bold scopey jump with lots of potential here.

He is a fun forward ride but has excellent brakes and is a snaffle mouth. He can be slightly spooky when jumping and takes his confidence from his rider so is not for anyone novice or nervous.

Low milage for his age, he has done low level pony club with young teenager this last year but is inexperienced in competition environment . Excellent to hack alone and in company and sensible in open spaces with good brakes.

Hunted in a previous home and we took him out with The Ross Harriers and he was fabulous with lightweight girl. Looking for a confident small jockey to take further hunting and jumping or equally would be a great hack and fun ride for someone.
