'Lightning' The MOST Gorgeous Best Friend anyone could wish for. He is the easiest, sweetest boy to handle. We call him our pet dog, as he would follow us around all day for cuddles if he could.

He is beautiful on the flat and very responsive. He’s exactly the same at home as he is at arena hire, cross country, pony club rallies, fun rides and competitions. Perfect in open spaces and not strong. Ridden in a snaffle. Been through water & loves a day out.

Before us he was in Ireland, and loved to go out hunting too.

When at the gallops he’ll fly up the track with the rider trying to win, or stay 1/2 a mile back with a nervous rider just wanting to trot. He really is a dream.

Saying all this, he isn’t a complete first pony, as he loves jumping & becomes much more forward when you pop the jumps up past 50cm. He will happily trot around a course of cross poles though. If the rider can hold their reins, walk & trot, then he’ll teach you everything else nice & calmly.

He is ridden successfully by a small 6 year old girl. As his 9 year old rider is the size of a 12-13 year old, so just too big for another season :(.

He’s never been schooled by adults. Any size kid/ or age can jump on. He’s good to go and super sensible & safe.

He does not kick, rear, buck or anything else of this description. No vices, or issues.

Turns out with mares & geldings.

Handled by kids daily, including my 4 year old, who turns him out & brings him in. The kids often ride him back & forth to the field in a head collar, sat on his rug.

Up to date with farrier, injections, chiropractor, dentist and wormers.

Lia is a kind, genuine pony looking for her next loving home. She is a lovely all-rounder who has done a bit of everything and is a pleasure to have on the yard.

She is excellent to hack both alone and in company and is completely bombproof in traffic. Lia has also spent time trekking in the Black Mountains and is very safe and sensible in open spaces.

Last winter she was professionally schooled and produces a fluent, correct dressage test, achieving 74% at our most recent Prelim outing.

In the arena she is more woah than go, making her very forgiving and suitable for a less confident rider, yet she is talented enough to step up for a more capable one.

Lia has attended numerous showjumping clinics and cross-country schooling days. She loves her jumping, is brave with fillers and currently feels most comfortable around 70–80cm, with scope to progress further.

She is extremely easy to manage and a pleasure to own – good to catch, shoe, box and clip. Happy to live in or out and can have time off without any fuss.

Lia would be ideally suited to a teenager or small adult wanting a safe, fun pony for hacking, riding club activities or low-level competition. With her excellent Class 1 Connemara breeding, she would also make a lovely future broodmare.

Very sadly outgrown, our much-loved Molly is now wasted without a job and ready to make another family very happy.

Molly is a beautifully bred 14.1hh Section D mare from champion bloodlines. She is regularly handled by our son, and has been ridden by a wide range of riders.

She has hacked out with our hunters isn’t strong, and is a genuine pleasure both on the ground and under saddle. We have not had cause to hack her out by herself or in heavy traffic as we live rurally.

Molly enjoys her jumping, is honest to a fence, and happily hacks on the buckle without getting hot—even if others around her get excited. She’s the type that doesn’t need riding every day and always comes out with the same willing, kind attitude.

Molly looks the part and would shine in M&M classes, WHP, and general Pony Club activities. She would make a fantastic Pony Club pony or a wonderful mother/daughter share. Never sick or sorry, she truly deserves a home where she’ll be enjoyed and have fun.

Whilst Molly is a super pony we have had so many enquiries and are looking for the perfect home for her. She is not a rocking horse. If are looking for one of those, you’ll need a bigger budget. She has a her own brain and a heart beat! In some time wasted viewings, it has been clear that the proposed rider cannot ride and needs more time in the riding school or they have been too nervous to trot: we won’t sell to homes like that, homes will be vetted and references required.

He is green in the school but this is due to his age and due to never doing it before he come to us. However he does have a willing attitude and willing to learn. Splash does need someone who is confident, kind but also sturn at the same time so that he is able to learn.

Destiny was bought direct from Hollybrooke Stud 4.5 years ago & is just turning 7. He is a registered quality bred substantial pony who would shine in the show ring - his full brother Hollybrooke Duke has been placed at HOYS M&M & Working Hunter Classes.

He was professionally backed as a 4 year old & has been ridden away for the past 3 years by a novice mum & experienced daughter in her 20s.

We have always taken time & care with his education.

His flatwork is now established with the most amazing uphill rocking horse canter & he is forward off your leg but happy to drop down & always snaffle mouthed. He is schooled at home in open fields.

He loves hacking out & eagerly hacks out alone, being excellent in all traffic. In company he never fizzes up & is always happy to be held back not wanting to race with others, & fab in open spaces. Doesnt change if not ridden every day.

We have attended numerous clinics including show jumping, cross country, pole work, & a Forest Riding Holiday, & out with the Bloodhounds this winter where he behaved impeccably & didn’t fizz up.

He has the most amazing soft loving temperament such a kind but sometimes sensitive soul who thrives on attention & loves being groomed & is a dream to travel always behaving impeccably whilst out.

Destiny has lots of jumping ability but is still green because of lack of our consistency due to time & facilities, & hence would be better suited to an experienced rider with better facilities to bring him on & due to this isnt suitable just yet for a child unless has experienced parent on board too.

Must be sound to hack but minor veterinary problems can be managed. The ability to jump a very small course of jumps and compete in unaffiliated dressage would be a bonus but not a priority.

We have a sensible budget, an offer a loving, experienced long term home with us on our own yard, equine company ,stabling and all year turnout as required.

Her only vice is that sometimes she’ll put her ears back at you over the stable door, I’ve got no idea why she does this she’s not mareish at all to handle and when you go in the stable and when you get her out of the stable and do anything with her she never does this it’s literally just if she’s got her head over the stable door occasionally she will just put her ears back at you but she will never do anything You just have to ignore it.
She pretends she doesn’t like a fuss but she actually really does??
